Although most of them are already marked as "finished", I think that it is always positive to keep translating them into different languages so more people have access to them. The only restrictions would be the topics written by 1miau, who is very demanding with the quality of his translations. In these cases, Gazeta will tell. About special conditions, please, read the notes in red ( READ BEFORE TRANSLATING!!!) before translating some topics, like in "5 Resources to teach Average Joe about Bitcoin", because they need some special adaptations. DrBeer, please read Porf's input first. Excepting what Porf said, I will suggest the following: in my perspective, you should first focus on the topics from "In Progress" section. If all topics there are translated in your language, you can pick other ones which are already finished, if you want. At the moment there are only 2 topics at "In Progress" section. 1miau's topic already has 10 (actually 11) translations already done or in progress (and we consider a topic as finished once it has 10 translations made for it). If you want, you could try working on Husna's topic ([Education] Bitcoin Privacy and Anonymity), although it will take you a long while to finish it. Of course, this will be up to you. I will be back later with a small update for needed translations for remaining topics, hoping this will bring some more visibility on what is left to be done. Translations IN PROGRESS:First topic has 6 translations (the Urdu one being in progress) and, as far as I know, gagux123 and dansus021 are working on Portuguese and Indonesian translations. As a plus, I am also working on a Romanian translation. David Chaum developed the first working form of electronic private money (CyberBucks), invented blind signatures and authored Untraceable Electronic Mail, Return Addresses, and Digital Pseudonyms, Blind Signatures for Untraceable Payments or Security without Identification Card Computers to make Big Brother Obsolete. And the list goes on and on... If you wish to give a hand of help to Julian Assange, for example, I think that smallest thing you can do is buying his books (they are all mentioned at bottom of OP)... I bought (and read) them all. Aparatele ZebraPay nu mai exista de ani buni. Iar majoritatea ATM-urilor solicita KYC acum. Am scris deaspre situatia aceasta aici si aici. Din cunostintele mele, doar aparatele ATM de la BitcoinRomania mai lucreaza fara KYC -- sau asta se intampla in urma cu vreo 3 ani. Despre acestea am scris aici. Nu le-am mai folosit de atunci insa, asa ca este posibil ca situatia sa se fi schimbat intre timp. Si, in orice caz, comisionul perceput de aparate (10-14%) este enorm fata de cel practicat de Razvan_BTC, despre care am scris mai sus. |
