Aparatele ZebraPay nu mai exista de ani buni. Iar majoritatea ATM-urilor solicita KYC acum. Am scris deaspre situatia aceasta aici si aici.

Incidentul cu cardurile Coldkey a zguduit tot acest grup. Pierderea financiară a fost mare dar, mai rău, peste utilizatori și fabricanți s-a așternut o umbră neagră. Viitorul se vede în ceață.

Icarus se va concentra pe oferirea cardurilor la un preț rezonabil, eliminând problema cheilor. Aceasta va avea un impact fundamental asupra riscurilor asumate de utilizatori.

Faza 1: introducerea unor carduri fără chei, la sub 15$
Faza 2: dezvoltarea și implementarea unor opțiuni BIP38

Inițial, cardurile nu vor fi utilizate ca dispozitive reci de stocare, ci ca obiecte de colecție – calitatea acestora va fi la fel de mare precum calitatea vechilor carduri!

In orice caz, edițiile (care ar fi fost emise în viitor de Coldkey) vor fi emise acum de Icarus ... Un logo nou este și el în dezvoltare.
