Ugh this is killing me!
I know it shouldn't-NEM has already exploded in value and I've done well on it. And I'm a long-term investor so I'm committed to staying in for at least a year and a half.
The current price action is discouraging though-and as gentlemand pointed out it's annoying that NEM isn't getting the hype it deserves compared to Ethereum, Ripple, etc.
Remember the pump last year? Honestly I thought it wont go any higher anytime soon. Look at where it is now. Give it more time, Xem actually still has the best ROI among altcoins (from January 2016 till today) Loads of projects are based on ethereum but there are none on NemIsn't that a big problem? When will projects start to come out? There are big projects underway, ecobit, xarcade, apostille, chronobank, landstead etc. |

Anyone know if the big Korean exchanges plan on adding NEM? Seems like they are ignoring it.
I think its only a matter of time before Nem is added to all exchanges as long as it continues to hold the number 4 slot on cmc. Trading volume is important too of course And of course if more exchanges add XEM, it will in turn increase volume  |

I wonder why. He must be absolutely rolling in it at present. I'd be coming back with a different account myself. In fact I'm sure he has. NEM is big enough now to have the attention of regulators, so UP as founder would be a 'person of interest', plus he allegedly embezzled millions of $$ in NEM stakes, so maybe that's catching up with him too. I dont think he got many NEMstakes. Either way we all have him to thank for starting this project. |

They "only" raised 2.6 million NEM so that is not the reason for the price rise. I didn't hear of ecobit before though, sounds like it's been running for a while now. Anyone know something about this project? It looks a good project with govt backing, but i would not say they are responsible for the rise. |

Does NEM have reversible transactions? If so is there an explanation of how it works?
I just thought of this after seeing the recent ransomware attacks. Would NEM be able to deal with that?
Catapult whitepaper I believe it says that they are going to have that feature. I would imagine only for private chains like mijin though |

ok ok 1 btc -->15k xem time to harvest i was waiting to dip for weeks now the banks who chose ripple are stupids it is like they didn't understand why decentralized network is a lot more secure than a centralized one all the crypto speculators who are into ripple are just bank followers a brainless sheeps banks can make a lot of bad decision if you think banks is a sort of super being you are mistaken i will be laughing very hard at the day a 16y boy cripple the central node lol well let see how long ripple central node will stand before someone take it down when it will happen, and (it will happen remember my words) the banks will realise they made a stupid choice . too late hhaha I see this coming too. |

Go look yourself if you don't believe us. And if you want precise value of stake based on today's price on coinmarketcap -- 2250000 x $0.120868 = $271,953 If it makes you feel any better, there were many impatient people whom didn't believe in the potential of NEM that sold their stakes on release @ 0.00000150 BTC, At that time 1 bitcoin was around $300, so they would have got around $1000 when they sold. lol and i remember when a stake was worth only $300! |

Any idea why NEM is going so fast? Have any improvements happened in this business? I didn't follow this coin but prices went high quite fast so wanted to get more details before I make any decision. In last few months prices went up a lot. Also, what is the best way to store this coin? any online wallets available? They had some serious pump campaigns in their bitcointalk thread and people bought it. Also the coin supply is rather constricted which makes it easily pumpable. Add in the influx of new crypto noobs into the space and you have the perfect storm. Ask the average person why NEM is so great and they have no idea; just heard someone else chant its the next best thing and so it must be! Don't get me wrong it has good tech, but its not worth anywhere near its current valuation. What total crap! Anyone who takes the time to research NEM will see its the less hyped project out there. In fact, they have gone out of the way to avoid as much hype as possible, usually you only hear about their developments in the news by a third party!  |

WTF XEM is a banking coin like other scam coins like STR and XRP, no idea why it should be listed on big exhchanges lol, so far from the truth. Ripple is controlled by bankers and is a highly unsecure blockchain. XEM is the complete opposite and offers solutions for everyone, including bankers |

NEM is way, way more easier to develop on with its API, compared to ETH which requires devs to learn a whole new language!
Much more secure than allowing smart contracts to run on a blockchain also.

Don't you speak to yourself  ... what do you think or say, when starting the computer : "How much has XEM risen since yesterday?" [ ... ksem ... ] I've spent so long up to my ears in crypto now that I only speak in binary or digital signatures to myself. My internal dialogue is rather more sluggish than it used to be as a result. NEMsters, the price was falling due to byteball distribution! There is a rush for holding BTC as byteball distribution requires BTC balance holding on a BTC address registered with byteball. This will end in just an hour from now. You should expect crazy buy waves tonight not just in XEM but in all alts.
You should also consider not holding any BTC cause there will be rush in selling BTC too!

It's linked to BTC balances? Is it free? I think we're rather more likely to see a Byteball sell off myself. I haven't seen much mention of it on here in general. not the first time coins have been distributed this way. I think LTC profits will flow into XEM once the segwit dump is over. |
