I think its a total embarassment that you are comitting more time to mocking somebody in public than updating your community about the progress of their project of which you are the custodian.

You should be ashamed of yourself, but you won't be because you obviously don't give a fuck about anybody other than yourself.

Meh, a few seconds of fun should be allowed... or what, have you been drinking again that you take this so seriously?

I'm still waiting for you guys to "make the transition to HLM" .... what's with the delay?

People are invited to join me at www.spreadcointalk.org if they have questions or are looking for technical support.

I won't be spending much time here in this thread for obvious reasons, but we'll see...  Wink

Just had a look at spreadcointalk and there are zero updates there.

Your Patreon hasn't been updated since March either.  Is that why everybody cancelled their donations to you? https://www.patreon.com/hamsterinthemachine

What do you mean you guys?  I have literally no connection to HLM at all.  None.

Fun is not something you have at other people's expense. It reflects very poorly on you.

Be careful while trading CRW .. It is purely pumping dumping coin. It was HYIPED so the price was pumped .
See the price tomorrow it will be around 15K -20K ..
Keep watching .
DUMP hard Grin

What has a High Yield Investment Programme got to do with anything?  What does HYIPED mean?

A formal announcement will follow but we have decided that our next core team meeting and public session will be held in Amsterdam.

If you would like to come and meet the team in person in Amsterdam, please keep 12th November free!

After Amsterdam we are discussing a meeting in South America, TBD.

Thank you everybody who flew to Toronoto for the core team meeting yesterday.  12 team members flew a total of nearly 100,000km to be there!

The meeting was extremely, extremely productive.  A summary will be posted in the next few days.

We're looking forward to the public session later today, we have heard some rumours about some of the people who have travelled here for it...looking forward to meeting some legends of crypto and business!

What a day. Incredibly good core team meeting. It's almost as if somebody had a spy in the room given the price action!

Next meeting in Amsterdam on November 10th.

funniest PM I received in a while:

 Grin Grin Grin

BTW, I don't think you can even achieve 1 khash of SpreadX11 with a raspberry Pi 3, and it's highly likely that you could actually damage it by mining with 100% CPU for an extended period.
Not recommended and mining profitability is so heavily non-existent that quantum physicists ponder its very existence.

HTM has already been released

Not yet. Check the ann thread or the slack for more information.

Hi I  have downloaded spreadcoin win wallet but avast told me that there is a malware inside the zip. Is it a false positive ??

Thanks

As long as you downloaded it from the links in the OP it should be fine.  The in wallet miner and/or vanitygen tends to trigger false positives.

Mattermost is back up.  If you have problems seeing any images, please reset your browser cache and all should be fine.

Update failed. Looks like there is an undocumented change to the way files are stored in Mattermost. I'm rolling back in order to try again.

Mattermost is currently down for maintenance and will be back online before 1430 BST

Are there any mining experts out there?

I'm having some difficulty in getting bfgminer to recognise my Geforce 1060 in Linux.  It would be really useful if I could use it to keep the testnet chain moving while we are testing but I'm not really sure where to start to work this out.

I'm happy to tip anybody who is able to help me get it working in CRW...

Hi

Is there any info as to who the devs of this projects are? How many there are etc.

Thanks

Hi,

Looks like Qt client has a memory leak: I've kept it running on my notebook for 24+hrs and it consumed over 5Gb of RAM.

Can you confirm which OS you are using please?

Latest Ubuntu, built from git 97484ab7cc451f404becdca43ad9f84bf5d97f24

Thanks, thats easy for me to test.  I've had the QT die for me on 16.04 Desktop but has so far been fine on 17.04

Will monitor RAM usage and see if I can replicate though.

How many SPR coins will I need to setup a masternode? Will 150 SPR's be enough to be included in the 1440 cutoff?

As far as anybody knows at the moment, Spreadcoin is not planning on having masternodes in the near future. Its hard to tell though as the lead developer isn't currently answering questions about development plans or progress.

Perhaps you are thinking of Helium masternodes?  If so, Helium have a thread on BCT where somebody will be able to answer your question.

Crown Statement on US Securities & Exchange Commission Press Release Dated 25th July 2017

In the above press release, the US SEC has ruled that US securities laws may apply to offers, sales and trading of interests in virtual organisations.

It is now clear that federal securities laws apply to those who offer and sell securities in the United States, regardless whether the issuing entity is a traditional company or a decentralized autonomous organization, regardless whether those securities are purchased using U.S. dollars or virtual currencies, and regardless whether they are distributed in certificated form or through distributed ledger technology. Such projects are encouraged to work with the US SEC to seek registration.

In recent months several projects that are likely to fall foul of the new guidance have publically expressed an interest in the Crown community project.  The Crown team would like to make it clear that Crown in no way endorses any of these projects.

Crown has expected a regulatory announcement would be coming, and has sought to conduct the project in a manner consistent with the intent of the law and regulators - both of which, we believe, seek to constructively engage with and guide innovation.  Crown is now reviewing its own structure and compliance in the context of yesterday's guidance from the SEC.  Governance and legal structure were already issues on the agenda for the upcoming meeting in Toronto, and this just re-enforces the importance of that discussion.

So how is the decentralised block explorer coming on?  Any updates on progress or what you are working on currently?

You didn't answer my question.

I haven't heard a good explanation yet why HLM doesn't simply start a new blockchain once development is ready.

Shouldn't this lead to the fairest distribution of coins, especially if the goal is to host masternodes?
(and centralization of masternodes is a bad thing, right? Right? Do we agree about that? Roll Eyes )

George, I have nothing to do with HLM at all. Literally nothing. Why are you asking me?

I sold all of my Spreadcoin from the time I was involved with SPR nearly a year ago.

Georgem sold all his SPR so he doesnt care.

Well I'm not a pump'n'dumper like you.
I'm in it for the long haul.

I've been actively mining SPR for quite a while now.
I'll continue doing so forever, now that I have a constantly growing mining operation going.
I also need this deeper mining experience since I'm working on my own advanced spreadminer.

All this feels like a wet dream.
As long as SPR price stays high I'll just afford more and more 1080's.
Should the price come down, I'll be able to mine more blocks.

If altcoin sphere has taught me anything it's that in the end patience will be rewarded.
So you guys go ahead, do your swaps and HLMs and what not, while I just stay here with SPR forever.
We will see how this will play out.

BTW I also do all kinds of dev work (Qt and C++) where you can pay me in SPR if anyone is interested.  Grin

That's the humble way of earning some SPR, the opposite of what you pump'n'dumpers are doing. Grin

So how is the decentralised block explorer coming on?  Any updates on progress or what you are working on currently?
