Show me these ServiceNodes !
Don't just roadmap all these ideas months after you promised Masternodes made for SPR with the second dev.
Vanitygen is fun but for how long for.... You will never find SatoshiNakamoto !
Hiya bump bitch. No promises on timescales were made. Better to do things once and properly than release things before they are ready. Be sure to check back soon.

Well, after a few days of perfect steady performance I decided to shut everything down and tidy up the cabling.
Now I only get 150Ghs. 28Ghs lost just by tidying the cables?!

I am still preparing everything for the upcoming testnet storm, please stay tuned everybody.
Can't wait I do think find Satoshi is a fantastic idea but maybe not for a few months

Lol, I go into the office for one day and suddenly we're running a lottery? I reckon its a neat idea once we get PoBN up and running and have some PR time to play with while the techie-gods work on the API lol. No. We are 100% not running a lottery. This is van gen: finding SatoshiNakamoto1 The process of finding Satoshi and using collateral just happens to have some similar dynamics to lottery game theory. Repeat (for the benefit of the judge and the gaming authorities) - we are not running a lottery. Ha ha. So I go into the office for one day and suddenly we're not running a lottery?

ended when I stopped trying to use cgminer and bmsc options
If you were using bmsc options with cgminer then you were using an old, outdated version of cgminer. You should try again with version 4.9.2 and the proper --au3 command line options from the ASIC README (volt 800 and freq 250 usually give about the max rated GH/s). and used bfgminer with the following command line
-S antminer:all --set antminer:voltage=x820 --set antminer:clock=x0982
Do you use --set antminer:timing as well, or omit it entirely from your command line? I'm not exactly a 100% noob to mining and linux but if I buy a product and the latest version of the manual on the manufacturers web site tells you to use bmsc then thats what I'll try first. I quite like Bitmain but I think the vast majority of people who are unhappy with the U3 just haven't been given the right information on how to use them. How about an updated manual on your web site Bitmain?? I did update to cgminer 4.9.2 on arch linux and it appeared to be working really well for about 60 seconds then my Pi always froze. That was with the au3 command line options. When I've got a few days hashing with this config I'll go back and try again with cgminer because I'd like to see if I can get it working as well as bfgminer. I completely omitted --set antminer:timing. Mainly because I didn't know how to calculate it. I'm just coming up to 18 hours of my current settings and hash rate is stupidly solid at 178Ghs with 0% hw errors.

This should get some transactions going, @georgem I reckon that will take care of itself when we hit testnet with PoBN. True, but Georgem has already done the work with the van gen, its good to go now. No testnet required I've already got the PR written out in my hungover head. I reckon if you had a CT scan the lobes of your brain would spell out PR

^ Very useful if you have lots of addresses! Easier just to dump them in a text file...

I wrote a simple android app to help me keep track of my various crypto holdings, here it is with some example addresses: It's free on Google Play, some of you may find it useful. Works with BTC, LTC, DASH, and any alt with a Chainz block explorer and a Bittrex trading pair, so it can get the ALT/BTC and US$ value for you. If there's some alt that doesn't work, if it has a working public block explorer and exchange its traded on with public API access then I can add it. Just updated to v3 which is much faster, if you install it in the next couple of hours you'll probably get v2 and an upgrade message when v3 has settled in. Might add some email/alarm type notifications for masternode / servicenode / banknode / whatevernode payments when I get the chance. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.crouton.lone.mybanknodes&hl=enLooks really good TLC! I'll give it a go on my Nexus 6 when I have a chance.

It has taken me about three days of trial and error but I have finally managed to get 3 Antminer U3s running on a raspberry Pi B (1st Gen) with powered USB hub using minera at 177Ghs with a HW error rate of 0%. My U3s came with 7.5A power supplies and to cut a long story short all my problems ended when I stopped trying to use cgminer and bmsc options and used bfgminer with the following command line -S antminer:all --set antminer:voltage=x820 --set antminer:clock=x0982 Power supplies and U3s are running at reasonable temperatures too. Lets see how long this lasts for EDITED for better results.

I'm really loving minera. I'm happily donating. I much prefer it to Minepeon although that has served me well in the past.
Can anybody help me with a noob(ish) guide to updating to the latest bfgminer? 5.2 I think. Cheers.

Ah what a pity, and my pool was never added to the OP :-(
Your pool is still considered "under investigation"... Lol Did you get the AMD miner set-up? I would mine your supernova pool if you have decent windows AMD miners.
I'm working on it ! Linux yes, Windows not yet. But soon! Likewise, would love to test your pool with a decent AMD driver. My Sha256 will be going to chaositec's multipool once he has some Sha coins on there

any updates regarding sn testnet development or is it being delayed until the wallet is finalized?
We might get a very brief dev update today. If not, I will provide a brief update based on some slack activity (not everything planned or being considered, just the odd snippet). just remember, my project is still a secret... edit: damn did i say that out loud? lol Yes, I know (and now so does everyone else ) Actually, I think its best if Georgem and Chaos update when they are ready. In terms of the white paper, we have updated it and added something very specific about the incentives to SPR nodes running Bitcoin full nodes and miners - can't release the details of the addition just yet, but it will be worth the wait. The PR material around the white paper is done (thanks to those that read the drafts). We are just waiting for feedback from some of the Bitcoin core devs on the white paper before releasing it, although the PR will also be tied to servicenode testing getting underway. We have heard back from one or two Bitcoin devs and the basic feedback is they want to see the project live to fully understand the implications for Bitcoin. I'm ready to go for some translations for the press release. I just need a nod that we're happy that we have a final version to run with.
