This has become a big issue because I've recently been scammed by a senior account that was sold by the name of silverleafy. I've following the litecoin address that he used and apparanrently let to multiple transfer into an account with about 500 lite coin. That is his litecoin address but if you track his transfers on www.blockcypher.com with the following address...who knows how many of those lite coins came from scamming people. LdaUtNSMV5j4ABppMJmzwUTWLoYpmj1SXN Won't happen.

Hello. My friend's account mrbenjie was hacked on April 30, 2018 1) Why do you say it's your friends" account, then it's yours in the next sentence? 2) What good is a signed message posted a few days ago from a different account? My guess is it's a bought account.

You have obviously been banned before. Other my account was banned. But i dont know why... but i tnink this is was... because I swore with some guys in the topic... I figured that no one ever restores accounting and registered a new one. BUT I did not do anything in the new bad account. I just asked two questions. Two fucking messages. And got a ban. This is injustice. And only for this reason I decided to create this branch. I believe that the policy of bans is not entirely true. At least I got BAN twice with different accounts without realizing that I'm doing wrong. If it was a permanent ban, ALL of your accounts, past, present and future are banned. YOU are banned. Ignorance of the rules is no excuse.

Today for the first time I looked inside my own reputation section and was surprised to find a comment there left by somebody around half a year ago. The irony of it is that I was being accused of being a scammer dev of Vega coin, whom in fact I was one of the first people to expose to community (which would become obvious to anyone who would read the entire thread). Now my question is - how can I get this deleted from my profile and warn the user who wrote it to be careful with false accusations in the future? What's the procedure here?
Trust is not moderated. If the person won't remove it, you have to live with it. It shows as untrusted to me anyway.

|
|
Not to offend anyone but ive Pm'd the user who has left me negative feedback to remove it kindly but they are not responding. What would i do in this situation because i have been waiting for some weeks. Thank you.
Nothing. There is nothing you can do. Trust is not moderated.

Please make a proper scam report.
ok don't tag the guy selling bitcointalk accounts from a self moderated thread then he can continue scamming more people since you would act due to it not being a proper scam accusation thread. Ever see the movie Dangerous Minds? "Because he didn't knock?" I don't jump through your hoops, use the format and fill it out. Account sales are allowed, I don't tag with Negative, only Neutral unless you can prove a scam. If this hurts your feelings, PM Theymos about it. I didn't mention my feelings but looks like i rustled your jimmies quite a bit lol . Seems someone with morals has used my post to tag the loser so my job is done with him. You need to stop thinking about my jimmies, only confuses you.

The new merit system: The good, the bad, and the ugly! The good: Only the quality posters will rank up. The bad: Even if you post quality contents you may not get many merits by the people. The ugly: When you post great content many people are lazy to click and go to the next page and add the merit(s). Share your thoughts about this merit system latest development, thanks I voted yes, but it may take some time before we rank up. Sad reality it is. Why the urgent need to "rank up?" Does a low rank cause you to bounce checks, be late to work, cause your car to die, impregnate your cat, give you cooties or give you the runs? If so, how did you survive previously? Your rank does not hinder you in any way from meaningful forum participation.

Ban signatures. Problem solved.
I'm all for that.

Archived version of his posts where his emails are posted: http://archive.is/AEZCu and http://archive.is/QBDRf. Both of the accounts that you mentioned are doing something which is illegal and against the terms and conditions of Neteller, Skrill and basically any other payment processor. He is obviously using either stolen IDs, photoshopped IDs, or some sort of social engineering trick to convince the Neteller support to get him verified. And all of that is immoral and illegal. Post where he claims the site is his: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3188041.msg33025941#msg33025941Site is most likely a scam and if anyone actually uses it to exchange money, you'll likely get hacked. Good finds, and a reminder that nobody should deal with others on forum without escrow, with or without a website. Archive links don't work for me.

|
|
Main problem with PayPal is that it is reversible. This means using escrow is pretty much moot. The risk of the payment being reversed later defeats the purpose of escrow. FnF is reversible. Some think it is impossible to reverse payment sent as a gift or donation but the truth is it can be reversed. Scenarios which allow the reversal are: - "Carded" payment or a hacked card was used
- Payment is disputed on grounds of being unauthorized by cardholder
- Gifted or FnF payment was induced fraudulently
This is not to discredit you in any way. The post is simply meant as a precautionary advice. Looking at clearing the PayPal balance urgently is usually a red flag because scammers often try to move or liquidate funds before the account is limited or before a dispute is raised by the person who originally sent them those funds. Rates tend to be insane because of the risk of a reversal. ive been scammed through fnf payment i phoned paypal up and they said they can not do anything. Too bad you didn't use your scammer skills on Paypal.

OP, any updates? I messaged coinman and you were supposed to get a reply.
|
|
|
I'm already working on this and theymos said he would implement it. Far too many people are signing up and straight away are asking the same questions that have been asked and answered hundreds of times or braking the most basic of rules like spamming ref links and copy and pasting etc. At least there will be no excuses when this does happen.
Wanna bet? I believe most of these "Newbies" are account farmers posing "safe posts" they think won't be deleted so they can rack up some easy spam replies. I've reported many of these types threads in the past and not much if anything was done, so they may be right in their assumption.

|
OP, explain how this is a scam?
