I tried logging into my other account and the password doesn't work, the email address associated with that account can no longer be used to retrieve the password. How come I wasn't sent an email that someone reset my password or changed my account email address? Is there a way to retrieve my account?

How hard is this to understand? Recovering hacked accounts or accounts with lost passwords March 02, 2014, 08:45:09 PM #1 If you use any sort of Google email service, then the password recovery email will go to your spam folder. If you want us to recover a hacked/lost account, you need to prove that you own it. Typically, the only acceptable method of proving ownership is by signing a message (including current date and desired new email address) using a Bitcoin address or PGP key associated with the account. A Bitcoin address or PGP key is associated with the account only if the account posted the key/address, sent it in a PM, or if it is still listed in the account's profile. I very rarely recover accounts if you can't prove ownership as described above. There are alternative ways of proving ownership, but they take too much time. If I point you to this thread, you can't prove ownership properly, and then I ignore your future PMs, this means that I'm not going to recover your account. Create a new one. Send one PM to either me or Cyrus. When sending a PM, use a template like this: Quote -----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE----- My account <account> has been hacked/lost. Please reset the email to <email>. Contacted the user. Awaiting the reported PM containing his BTC address. The thing is if i could not get my account back, can't the mods freeze or ban my viking02 account then? I would like my account back but if i cannot, i want that account banned.
They won't ban the account,instead you can prove the ownership of the account and ask DT members to leave negative feedback so the account would still be useless. Actually if there's some evidence that account is hacked it will be blocked until there is enough evidence to recover it. this is bad for owner if not have evidence to recover it. If you can't prove it's yours, why do you expect to recover it? |

Those "feedbacks" are called "untrusted" and are hidden by default for a reason: THEY SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED.
If you really check those feedbacks instead of just spreading nonsense, you would see that all of them are comming from scammers/spammers that got tagged by Lauda/Vod and now are retaliating with false feedbacks. You probably did the same, which is the reason why you made this post.
They have 20x more negative comments than positive yet you tell us not to trust those? lol "Probably" is the best thing you could of said huh Um....so do you?  By your "logic", you need to leave yourself a Negative with one of your alts. |
