1101  Other / Archival / Re: Want paypal, will give bitcoin on: December 29, 2015, 11:41:19 PM
This is a honest question I need to ask.

Why users paying by Paypal are so scared to send first?

As I said I will buy the bitcoins from circle using the paypal debit card and then send the bitcoins within minutes.

So my question is this:
If a scammer gets paypal, all the user has to do is raise a dispute and wait a few days and they will get there money back correct?

----

After getting the paypal I can send  the bitcoins within minutes, im not sure why I am considered so high risk

Paypal will not cover loss of a digital item so to file a complaint you must lie and/or use a credit card. Also a dispute is not a slam dunk case. This is common knowledge and there are many threads on the matter and I am surprised you are unaware of it.
1102  Economy / Reputation / Re: Shorena Out of Nowhere -ve on: December 29, 2015, 03:14:35 PM
This is a public message to shorena, I don't understand where you're coming from with your trust, all my loans are paid for and the only alt I had in possession for this entire year was Tavos who was sold to pay for my last loan with LetYouEarn

My other account Small was also sold without any dispute. We came to an agreement and it was a legitimate agreement which I disclosed to you on PM.

Regards,
Jm Erestain

Perhaps shorena will give a Reference for the feedback.
1103  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: tarmi - bought legendary account - starting an altcoin with a self modded thread on: December 27, 2015, 06:35:54 PM
A Neutral would suffice unless there is a good certainty of a scam/scamming.
1104  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Attempted scam by coinmaster222 on: December 26, 2015, 08:25:54 PM
Here we go this asshole again trying to get his 15 mins of fame with his bought account. Now bugger off a leave this forum in peace
I'm not posting just to post here.  I've read this whole thread.  Who bought what account?  Is KWH's bought?  Coinmaster?  It's not clear to me what's going on and I'm genuinely curious.

Short of it:
He was caught scamming awhile ago and today tries to bully me into removing the Negative.
1105  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Attempted scam by coinmaster222 on: December 26, 2015, 04:36:46 PM
Looks like coinmaster222 has either sold this account and the new owner is trying to remove the Negatives or he's wanting to clean it up to keep/resell. Threats won't work with me.

Really would like you to remove your negative trust as I will as this account was hacked and I believe the guy selling the knife was behind it.As you have no proof of a scam cant understand why you would write that there

my hero account is messed up because of assholes posting shit but I can always buy another one.Can you buy a Legendary

no before you right rubbish its up to you to know it was a scam. The guy who hacked it was the guy with the knife, you would be paying that price for what was being offered.

As I said earlier, post proof.

If you are threatening me, do your worst. Congratulations, your credibility is shot.
1106  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Daanie/Sumerian stole 4.8 Bitcoin by recovering an account that he sold to me on: December 24, 2015, 03:13:13 PM
I have left appropriate feedback pending further details but I also see that you have left Positive Trust for this account, twice. Once you purchased it, those should have been removed as it cast you in the Trust farming light.

1108  Economy / Lending / Re: Requesting .01 Quick Repay on: December 23, 2015, 08:18:54 PM
Amount: 0.01 BTC
Repayment in: 2 Days
Repayment amount: 0.015 BTC
Reason: Have to pay fees on a circle account. Also, wouldn't mind building a bit of rep as well.
Address: 1Dtqh1xTTL7bmgVapuMrVyhH4u3DPkBqJ1
Collateral: Bitcointalk Account.

Thank you for your time.

Small, quickly repaid loans for Rep. are frowned upon by the community and may net you negative feedback.
1109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does paypal considered as scam attempt? on: December 23, 2015, 05:30:12 PM
I was got scammed today but i was sending paypal. Seller doesn't send bitcoin so i have opened dispute as i have not received digital item i was supposed to recieve. Hope i will get my money back. Have never tried their dispute feature before.

Paypal seem to be reversible see what will happen.

As per Paypal's TOS, digital items are NOT covered. Unless a credit card or hacking claims are filed.
This is very old news, don't people read TOS anymore?
1110  Economy / Reputation / Re: TRUST SYSTEM ABUSE? on: December 23, 2015, 04:33:02 PM
Nope, it's not Trust abuse. Anyone can leave whatever they want as feedback, especially if they are leaving as a warning for suspected thieves. The key is to make sure it isn't frivolous feedback resulting in the dilution of your own reputation.
Your continued posturing for "proof of scam" is a red herring.
1111  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: need to buy $10 in bitcoins, can someone help, please on: December 21, 2015, 09:23:26 PM
Escrow does nothing for this transaction as there is no guarantee against a chargeback.

I say go for it. Please post and updates as we all need a good laugh. Roll Eyes Grin

Posting childrens address's is no laughing matter. Given the nature of some of the forum members here.

With so many posting pictures, phone numbers and addresses on social media these days, nearly any information wanted is easily obtainable.
The internet and more specifically this forum just isn't a good fit for you. Since you are so easily offended, please leave and start your own.
The amount of those being offended is getting ridiculous these days.

1114  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam attempt by user majakn on: December 14, 2015, 09:26:52 PM
majakn started an auction here to sell an hero account

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1281743.msg13192196#msg13192196

after offering 0,24BTC I got the following message

Hi,

you're winner of auction for hero member account.

Account is:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=160267

I'm owner of account, this is my second account.

You can use escrow (your's pick, but must be top one). fee 50:50

You can write to me on my hero account

with best regards

I then went on looking at the account which is mladen00 and I found a feedback from user Shield stating
Quote
Alert !!!

Account being sold, you might be dealing with new owner
trade with caution, don't fall for high reputation

check reference link for more details
with reference to the auction started by majakn

I went on contacting the hero member stating the issue but I got a nice answer which does not need to be repeated.

Deal carefully with both of them.

It's common practice to leave feedback on a bought/sold account.

Remember to have a trusted third party to hold all collateral. Good luck!
1117  Other / Meta / Re: Is it the nut-shell or the Nut ? you are dealing with. on: December 11, 2015, 01:03:32 PM
If you bought an account and are using feedback, Rank or longevity of account that is not your own for loans and to appear trustworthy, you probably aren't. You just bought the appearance of being trustworthy and a Neutral should suffice although that is up to the trading partner.
I have seen several purchased accounts recently packing on the positive Trust and it's a little alarming. Some are those that had Negatives and instead of fixing their mistakes, just wanted to wipe those Negatives out and start with a clean and/or green, bought account. Essentially buying Trust or the appearance of Trust. Why is this? Perhaps to deceive those into trading with those that most wouldn't go near them with their tainted accounts?
1118  Other / Meta / Re: HYIP SCAMS - We need to do something on: December 08, 2015, 12:50:37 PM
Hello Friends,

HYIP Scams have a long history in the internet.
And with bitcoin HYIPS, almost 99.99% turn out to be scammers.

<snip>

I personally have been scammed many times. Almost every little satoshi I earned from faucets have been eaten up by scammy Hyips.

<more snippage>

Good day. Smiley

So, what exactly is your problem? Are you a slow learner or just let greed get the best of you? The vast majority of these scams are quite easy to spot.
1119  Other / Meta / Re: VOD should be removed from default trust for systematic abuse of his position on: December 07, 2015, 11:26:50 PM
Vod is too old to be here anyway. Most of us are ages 13-26 I don't understand why he's here. He doesn't get paid to be here, so what is he doing here anyway

Right because once you hit 27 you u can't use bitcoin or talk about it online.  Sounds legit.

What I was trying to say is that he is in his 40's-50's, probably has a wife and family and is online every single minute of every single day "supervising" this website, and doesn't get paid for it. He should be focusing on making money to feed his wife and children instead of harassing people on a Bitcoin forum. Somebody his age should be doing something that's more worth his time instead of harassing people young enough to be his son or daughter. If you're around the age of 40-50 and you log into BitcoinTalk, that's fine. To frequently log in when you are not granted consistent and decent income here is questionable though, which makes you too old to frequently participate without pay.

Good thing you are no authority on anything.   Roll Eyes
I'm just gonna put you on ignore.

I don't understand why you can't just do that to me, so I'll just do it for you.

You need to act your age. It's kind of sad.

And you need to grow up and out of the whole "world revolves around me" thing.
