2621  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | on: September 20, 2022, 09:34:55 PM
Their Christmas and Easter event were great and quite rewarding in fact. The nice thing indeed was that you could get some free lottery tickets without wagering. Everybody knows that you only need 1 ticket to win the lottery (and a lot of luck lol).
They always have that season that they're giving away the greatest events for their players and that's why that's what the majority should await for.
Well, the time has been so fast and just one more quarter and we'll see the end of this year. With the success that duelbits has right now, they might give a surprising giveaway by the end of this year. Who knows, right?  Grin

And hopefully, there will be gifts for all members, including small players like me who gamble with only small money.
Just follow their promo page and see if you're eligible for the currently active promo they run.
2622  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stressful crypto market on: September 20, 2022, 12:41:06 PM
The market seem to be stressed because, Bitcoin has never in its history faced the kind of problem or terrible time that the world is in right now, Wars , inflation, interest rate hyke, economic collapse, various happenings and uncertainty around the globe and if Bitcoin after this test of time bounce back,
Well, that's true and guess what. Still, bitcoin did perform greatly despite all of those situations that the market has faced. Coming from a pandemic, recession, war, and inflation and there could be others too that haven't been in the mainstream. Oh, don't forget about the backlash that never stops to it about the energy consumption of it.

it will see the most biggest bull market ever in its history, reason is that people would now realize that this technology is not going anywhere , that it has come to stay with us and that's when confidence or believe comes in, because Bitcoin is money and money is a believe system that works.
And coming from those situations, it's exciting to see what's in its store when the market goes on recovery soon and this lowness soon will pass.
2623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 20, 2022, 10:35:36 AM
IMO, there's no difference whether it's on mid or placed as a pos 1. What they've been doing is that they'll pick pudge on the pos 1 and then will have the mid as their main carry. It's been like in Dota 1 days that the tri-lane or safe lane works like that as what they intend to do in pudge.
Dota 2 is a game of strategy and defense so as long as what they're up to works, they'll do it again and that's why they've been using it because somehow it has worked before.

Pudge is only placed on the top lane on this meta because of his flesh heap and rot buff. He's still essentially the "offlaner" because his item builds will always lead to a more utility role later down the line. They just pick a farming mid like Ember or a farming offlane like Razor/DK and that will slowly transition to carry. They placed Pudge on the safelane because of how insanely strong 4 supports and offlaners are on the new patch, and Pudge can tank those in the early game due to his 3rd and still get some farm due to his high base damage and hook which he can use to 1 shot ranged creeps or large neutral camps.
Right but on that last game of Polaris, they've picked the wrong mid. IIRC, it should be lina on their mid but Talon just read their strategy and banned it, and instead, they've taken QOP which I think is still good but they lack other utilities and help for the disables.
They didn't win with UD + KOTL combo and they need to disable those games, 4th and 5th. They didn't learn on the 4th game and still pursued that hero + pudge.
2624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CZ claimed Layer 2 isn't really needed yet on: September 20, 2022, 09:22:01 AM
I'm not technically good with these layers and stuff. But you know what, these updates and upgrades are becoming of a hype buzz and they're capitalizing it while they can.
Investors and traders are riding those things and not just CZ knows and understands this thing. But on this market, when there seems to be a genius idea, they're using it for them to use so that more investors and traders would come by to their projects.
Layer 1 is the blockchain like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana while Layer 2 are those side chain project like Optimism that helps Layer 1 project to unload some transaction by processing it on Layer 2 instead of going to Layer 1 directly that will make the network busy.

Layer 2 is necessary for those blockchain that has a very network such as Ethereum but completely useless on blockchain that has hast network confirmation such as BSC. I think CZ comment is for his BSC because it really doesn’t require it.
Thanks.
So, it seems that I'm right that it's really for the gain of the project that he owns and manages. That's why they understand overall the market and it's not just all about the technology.
We've got layer 1, layer 2, and maybe soon layer 3. We also have web 3 and it's becoming a trend these days and many are saying that it's going to be needed soon. Too many upgrades and details to be fed to everybody that are really interested on these projects.
2625  Economy / Gambling / Re: around 1.6 billion people worldwide gamble, What about a poker gamefi?? on: September 19, 2022, 11:14:28 AM
Poker is traditional due to its age and still being played popularly up until this date but I won't say that it was a basic game because poker is played with more cards and there are different mechanics of this game unlike to other card games like blackjack that only two card is needed and by there the mechanics of the game is also easy. Poker tournaments are still there but they are mostly held locally or offline and there's also online but I think most of them are hosted in a fiat based casinos.

There are different varieties of poker online but the classic ones are still there where your opponents are also a real human and not bots or anything.
I can attest to poker tournaments being held offline and they're popular in my local. Too many of my friends have been aiming to be a participant in it but only a few of them gets a good result. And usually, the tournaments are really encouraging other new poker players to participant even not pros.
But of course, the end of it goes to the pros that have been participating for so long and they're taking home the bigger prizes.
2626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CZ claimed Layer 2 isn't really needed yet on: September 19, 2022, 09:10:19 AM
We have few layer 1 projects in the crypto space right now and new ones are showing up but the thing is no layer 1 project fixed every layer 1 problems yet so why are layer 2 projects showing up in numbers? Do we really need layer 2 projects right now? I watched a CZ and Crypto banter interview on Youtube and CZ claimed we don't need layer 2 yet.
I'm not technically good with these layers and stuff. But you know what, these updates and upgrades are becoming of a hype buzz and they're capitalizing it while they can.

2627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 19, 2022, 06:23:05 AM
Yeah, I've seen many that aren't successful but it's like a trend and having the mid-lane as the supposed carry while pudge at the late game is like the utility/tank of the team.
Well, we have to move on but they're now part of the last chance qualifiers together with T1. While Talon has just proven that they're one of the strongest in the SEA based on this qualifier but Polaris was really close on that bo5 series.
Making pudge as a mid laner then it would be considerable but making it as a carry pos then i dont really see for it to be much effective unless if your offlaner did really build semi-carry items plus having that
farmed mid laner which might that able to carry you out because everything would really be depending on how your team mates would really help out their carry as much as possible.
Adjustments would be made but its true that Pudge will act out as a tank specially on mid-late game scenario and if opponents carries are fully farmed then Pudge would easily be fucked up.

Im rooting on T1 to get the spot on TI11 but unexpectedly Talon is really strong and same goes with Polaris.

2628  Economy / Economics / Re: What define your success, "money, fame or achievement"? on: September 19, 2022, 04:41:31 AM
Money can only give you temporary happiness but you'll still seek for other important things that it can't really buy. We can live a luxurious life and still not be contented. For me, success is being satisfied with the way we live regardless of our financial status. We can be poor and still be happy. Contentment is the key to happiness and happiness is also proof of success.
Not that temporary, it'll give us that happiness that we won't be thinking about the finances and other problems in life that mostly require money. So, that happiness will depend on how you perceive it. Although it's true that it lies in the status and happiness based on your financial status, no one I guess wants to be out of money and still be happy dealing with the problems that are mostly needing money for you to solve it. Like your daily needs, food, housing, those basic necessities.
2629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 18, 2022, 11:14:17 PM
Yes, it's arguable that Russ could come back and show revenge to everyone that hasn't shown some love for him. But can't blame those doubters of him.
So, if he stays with the Lakers and there will be a new coach for them, I guess that's where he should bounce back and prove everyone wrong. It shouldn't be a blame game though as it's always a team play for this sport. But when there's a hole on the team, whether it's from the player, from the coaching staff, there should be ways of fixing it.

It's not good for the team if Westbrook is only thinking about that, what he should do is to make sure that this time he will be effective for the role that was given to him, and bouncing back while proving something is not a bad choice either but he should know that there's right timing for that because if he will rush it then the team will probably suffer and he will be blamed again for his actions. They should start working together as a team and leave no one behind when there are some problems.
I guess it's already attached to his main role for the team and at the same time, he's got to prove himself. So, it seems that he's going to stay with Lakers as the management doesn't want to trade him for max cap space.
I am sure that there are good trades that awaits for him but if it's the management has decided then he'll surely going to show everyone that he's going to play with the team better this time.
2630  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Manipulation looks like on: September 18, 2022, 10:12:28 PM
This is what actually happens in the market, there will be whales that will pump a coin although in this case, it may not totally be a whale but sort of a rich person as we can say.
And then, when it's already reflected in the market that there's a green ++ showing on that token. For sure, traders and investors will be enticed for buying it and that's how they slaughter the new entries for that token. Usually, it happens to those altcoins that have been known like meme or those that are on the news and trend.
2631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 18, 2022, 09:13:40 PM
It's normal these days to have a pudge in a game and being played as a pos 1. They have a strategy and that's what I also think whenever somebody picks pudge if they can secure the game more with a better carry.

It is not very successful though. I do not have the numbers for the win rate of Pudge but most of the matches I have seen in tournaments that played carry Pudge ended in a loss. I agree it was not the best pick at the time. A lot of missed hooks as well. It would have been a big upset if Polaris won that match up.

2633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 17, 2022, 09:37:53 PM
I agree that it shouldn't be the eye only to him but also to the others as well. But as the eye centers on Westbrook, it's because he's a star player and expectations to him are way up the highest than of those other players on the roster of the Lakers.
The coaching staff? I don't think that there's anything to do with it, well if there is then that's very minimal and little to be considered. Otherwise, they really have to rotate and make decisions wisely for this upcoming season in almost everything where they've fell apart.

It definitely shouldn't fall only on Westbrook, he's just the biggest problem that is fixable.  Anthony Davis' knees are arguably the biggest overall problem.  If AD was healthy all season, they wouldn't have even needed Russ to make the playoffs...

The coaching staff deserves some of the blame as well.  Benching Westbrook at key points in close games isn't something you do to a superstar.  It had to have shaken his confidence and opened him up to unnecessary criticism.

Maybe AD will be healthy and the new coach will give Russ some confidence to be his old self again.  Going into a contract year, he definitely has the motivation for a revenge season.
Yes, it's arguable that Russ could come back and show revenge to everyone that hasn't shown some love for him. But can't blame those doubters of him.

I agree that one can depend on bitcoin in their lives as long as they have found a way to do it stably. While you and the others have their safe havens through bitcoin like earning what is right and all the holdings that you've got. For the rest, it's quite hard to do it when the market has already been up and the entry price isn't cheap as it was before. But as you've said, for the long-term goals, we've got various choices and choose the best where we can find the one that fits our needs.
2635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 17, 2022, 07:56:42 PM
Congratulations to Talon Esports for securing their ticket to The International 11 that was an epic match against Polaris Esports.
Congratulations to Talon Esports, the predictions about them were right and they even beat T1. As for Polaris Esports, they also did well, they've made the series almost to them with a 3-2.

Polaris  Esports could have won the 5th match if they get a decent carry, why pick pudge as their carry in a crucial situation. Also in the fourth match if they just banned Slark might they have won that match.
It's normal these days to have a pudge in a game and being played as a pos 1. They have a strategy and that's what I also think whenever somebody picks pudge if they can secure the game more with a better carry.

But that's it. Sea qualifier is now done.
TI11 secured slot for SEA: Talon
Last chance qualifiers 1: Polaris
Last chance qualifiers 2: T1

Now, the WEU is also in the finals and Team Secret finally made it to the finals against Entity, 1-0 in favor of Entity.
2636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Merge Success on: September 17, 2022, 09:32:21 AM
Do you think Ethereum has the solution Bitcoin needs
No.
There's no solution to what bitcoin needs from any other project even from Ethereum.

is this proof of ETH Next Of BTC after normal market?
Well, ETH is really next to BTC so there's no problem with that. Every time there's a news related to a project, it's always us that keeps on attaching its potential of it to bitcoin. But in the end, these are just comparisons that come to our minds even if it's not that necessary.
2637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 16, 2022, 11:32:11 PM
Because of the system of the Lakers, it was Westbrook who resulted not perform well, people based his previous stats and the current stats with the Lakers and they saw a big drop, so it's normal for them to think that Westbrook is not fit with the Lakers. If it's really the coach that is the problem, then we can assume that Westbrook will be back with great stats this new season.

That seems not a good analysis. There are 17 players on the Lakers roster last season of which may be around 10-12 were actively used.

Do you mean that it's only Westbrook who didn't perform well because he can't follow the Lakers' system?

Other Lakers players are so lucky that even though some of them are much worst than Westbrook last season, they are being saved from criticism. Smiley
I agree that it shouldn't be the eye only to him but also to the others as well. But as the eye centers on Westbrook, it's because he's a star player and expectations to him are way up the highest than of those other players on the roster of the Lakers.

2638  Economy / Economics / Re: Alert: Important US Inflation news is due today on: September 16, 2022, 10:30:13 PM
Whatever effect that we can think of that will not be on a long-term, it is just for the temporary but not on longtime, it is not capable of causing a change of trend or redirection.
This is what I'm thinking for this inflation although it may go medium term and the effect could be like that but I know that it will lie low somewhere in the near future.

The news that will affect bitcoin are those that are talking directly regarding bitcoin like the big players of cryptocurrency, as we had the dump news of bitcoin from Tesla which dragged bitcoin gradually to this level now.
Those words that come from those companies impact bitcoin. But we've seen that the majority of the markets are connected somehow and with all the same factor that meets and it's with inflation. As for bitcoin, it should be the opposite but I guess this is a temporary connection and eventually, it will disconnect from what's happening with the world market.
2639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: In your opinion is this the end for Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency? on: September 16, 2022, 09:24:38 PM
It's always like every year that whenever the market isn't good enough, there would be questions like this. But for me, right now this is a valid one because we're facing recession and inflation and it isn't bitcoin and the crypto market that facing such. Too big of a factor to think if the market will really survive. Well, it will recover no matter what it faces, and I just lean toward the fact that anything that goes down will bounce back and go up again. IMO bitcoin is still the best asset for my taste, a safe haven, and people shall see that it's still the best way to hedge against inflation.
2640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: September 16, 2022, 08:27:54 PM
As I was saying yesterday, one has to go and to be eliminated. And this has happened in the lower bracket, still no guarantee for one of them to proceed to the grand finals. The winner still has a lot of way to go before the grand finals.

WEU is exciting, Nigma and Team Secret has to eliminate each other.

Nigma is out, no kuroky, no sumail for this TI. And Team Secret is still in the qualifiers but isn't sure if they'll proceed even up to the last chance qualifier. As I am watching right now, 1 win is already there for their opponent, Into the Breach. If they lose, Team Secret is out. And if they win, they'll secure a last chance qualifier and has to face Team Liquid at the lower bracket which is one step away to the grand finals.
