2641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to store your keys? on: November 16, 2021, 07:17:38 AM
Crypto investors are turning to Military grade vaults to safeguard their Keys. While some prefer to know the Keys by heart, some have their crypto stash in physical dedicated crypto wallets like Trezor and pay big money to have them stored in Nuclear sheltered safe vaults. Take for instance Swiss Crypto Vault who offers Nuclear sheltered vaults to crypto investors. if you had 2000 bitcoins what options would you pick?

For a small to an average amount of bitcoin, I think a hard wallet as storage would be enough. Although anyone should still be careful despite having this because after all, it doesn't really guarantee a 100% safeness of your fund most especially if it involves human error. It just prevents hacking but the owner is still the one responsible for how to maintain his funds safe (e.g from inside job, phishing, and other forms of scams).

But if I were to have 2000 bitcoin, I would diversify it as much as possible to be sure just in case things go haywire in my one account, not everything will be compromised. I would use cold storage to safeguard my seed phrases or probably I will do the traditional way of securing them which is writing them down on a piece of paper and hiding it in a safe spot where no one else knows about. Or I would make some sort of cryptic messages or riddles to indirectly store it without other people noticing that it is an important thing if they would happen to see it, but definitely, I would still hide the book where I would write it down to.
2642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin brings us true freedom of thought on: November 16, 2021, 06:29:28 AM
As time passes by, people have become aware of how society works and how most of the time the government tend to exploit the citizens for their own benefit instead of actually doing their duties as servant leader. People have become enlightened of the dirty things of the world which hinder them from actually becoming who they want to become. All thanks to the modernization of technology and innovation, we become aware of the relevant issues and tools that can help us achieve freedom from the things that hold us back.

Nowadays, bitcoin is growing more and more popular and is being widely used. The introduction of bitcoin helped most of us to be open to the things we usually overlook because we think it's totally normal, to begin with. For instance, way back most people trust the central organizations so much because they seem "reliable" to be the storage of their funds. But little did they know that the banks are just using them to gain more profit, but only give a little in return. As an example, you put a huge amount of money there for 5 years, yet you will only gain a very small interest that can hardly be noticeable and used. They even tax your funds for the period you store your funds to them. In addition, it isn't safe to inflation so if you'll think about it, you are on the losing end here. Back then, people have no other choice but to put their funds in it despite all the possible repercussions. But today, people have the opportunity to ditch the banks and just invest in bitcoin or other crypto coins that they think will be good for the long term.

Bitcoin brought us true freedom of thought by allowing us to think of anything and act in accordance with what we think is right and beneficial for us. Freedom to do with our very own funds without being limited to any transaction is one of the nice things I like about bitcoin. You could decide on your own. You can risk whatever you want, but of course, this freedom has also its limitation. You have to be totally responsible to your actions and decision-making because you have no one to blame but yourself if ever you fucked up. We have the liberty to do whatever we want to our portfolio but it comes with great responsibility too.
2643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin transaction fee fixed? on: November 16, 2021, 05:47:14 AM
After  solving the arithmetic logarithm by the miners to choose who would  carry out the transactions on the network. The transaction fee charged is it fixed, decided by fellow miners or can the sender edit the transaction fee below the current price charged or above it?
I'm just curious

How long have you been here in the forum? Judging your current rank, you're supposed to know that basic information. After all, I bet you are lingering in different threads and posts related with bitcoin. In addition, you have the resources to search it on the internet with a few clicks like how you managed to post it here.

But to answer directly, no, the transaction fees are not fixed. The fee of each transaction varies depending on how many users are currently transacting (volume of users), the season of the market, and the speed of the transaction process. If you don't really need the fund urgently, you can opt to choose a transaction fee that is minimal. Just expect it to be a little delay of course, compared to the transaction that has a high fee. The network prioritizes the users who will pay more for faster transactions. Just remember not to set the transaction fee too low or else you might end up having trouble because of the slow process. There are also instances that the funds end up floating because of a very low transaction fee, so know when to be thrifty and when not to because it could cost you later.
2644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbooks often offer different odds for the same type of bet on: November 13, 2021, 03:51:59 PM
Here is a piece of information that many of you have probably noticed. But if you aren't that much into betting on sports, you might not know about it.
If you bet on football/soccer, you know that there is a type of bet called Double Chance. In such a selection two outcomes of the match result in a win of your bet.

Take a look at the picture below.

A Double Chance on Benevento win/draw pays 1.69. Just above that selection, you can place an Asian Handicap bet +0.5 on Benevento. That is the exact same bet, the bookies just call it differently. The AH +0.50 bet is valued at 1.76 compared to 1.69 for the exact same bet. If you place an AH +0.50 bet on Benevento and the match ends in a draw - you win. If Benevento wins - you win. If Benevento losses - you loss, same as with the Double Chance bet.

The bookies often use these kind of tricks. Here is another one for different bets.

A Draw No Bet means that if the team you bet on draws the match, your bet wont be lost. It will be voided, and you will get your stake money back. If the team you bet on wins, you also win your bet. In the screenshot you can see that a Genoa Draw No Bet has an odd of 1.88. A few lines above, you can play an 0 Asian handicap on Genoa, which is the same type of bet, but the odds are slightly higher. 1.93 compared to 1.88. If the AH 0 match ends in a draw - you bet is voided. If your team wins - you win, and you lose your money of course if the opposition wins.

I have seen other types betting options that bookies use where you can bet on the same outcome, they just call it differently and offer higher-lower odds. Share your own examples of what you have discovered on different platforms while gambling on sports.

Thank you for this information. I commend you for putting an image for those visual learners out there lurking around the forum. This would be of great help most especially to those who are unaware about this.

Based on my observation, double chance has the higher probability of winning because you can place your bet on two different possible winning results. This appears to be a game of chances but with the greater odds of winning. Although this is still harder compared to the usual traditional and straight betting alone because of multiple choices. But the opportunity could be utilized anyway. I believe this type is something that is still in favor of the house because this just urges the players to bet more for hopes of higher chances of winning. Spending more bucks in exchange for trying to win the bet is what most people do, most especially those who are obsessed in winning. Little did they know that collectively, they are doing the house a favor for playing in accordance to what they predicted. But it's still the players discretion anyway, it's their money at the end of the day.
2645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling fraud and it settlements on: November 13, 2021, 01:51:27 PM
A lot of cases have been rising in the gambling industry, as gambling become popular and more players and new site are coming up on a daily basis, a lot of fraud cases have been reported some of the cases are resolved and some other never get resolved which have lead to bad reputation for some gambling platforms.
My question is what are the legal procedures to follow in a gambling fraud cases?

Foremost, it is our duty to scrutinize everything we are putting our money into. Gambling is a risk most people choose to do. Hence, it should be done responsibly. Someone must do their part in researching and checking what they are getting themselves into. In every application, game, or services there is always something called terms and conditions, as well as policy. It is the user's responsibility to read the content of terms and conditions before giving the consent to the company to do something in case you goes against for whatever is stated on it. Before agreeing, always read what is written so that you won't be at disadvantage soon after. Because once you agree without reading, you won't know what would be the do's and don'ts. You wouldn't even know if your rights will be violated or there is something skeptical about the contract.

Regarding the settlement of scams and frauds, the first step would be to gather evidences and approach the customer service representatives of the said gambling site. Try to resolve it and contain the problem to you and to the csr if it's tolerable and they are cooperating to you with your concerns. If they aren't really helpful and they keep on refusing to resolve the conflict, then that's the time for you to rise it to the local authorities and let them handle your issue with the gambling site. If this step will still not work, then I suggest you hire a lawyer to ask for legal advice and maybe take it to the court. But also know that this last suggestion would take effort, time, and especially money. If you the amount you lost is big and you really want to teach them a lesson, plus you have the means to do long process of getting your money back and holding the site liable, then do it. But still, the best advice I could give is to prevent it from happening. Don't wait for it to occur before you start doing your role in making your funds dedicated for betting secure.
2646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: November 13, 2021, 01:15:57 PM
So GGG is back this time he will travel to Japan to face a local champion and hero Ryota Murata.

He will bring his middleweight crown in the line, IBF and IBO and then Murata's WBA.

We've seen Canelo already so it's time for GGG to show us if he still what it takes to have a rematch with Canelo maybe a catch weight? GGG is nearing 40 years old though, so I don't know if there is enough time in the table to set up that trilogy with Canelo.

Anyhow, he has a big task on hand in Murata, the Japanese is also a very tough fighter. So hopefully we can watch and enjoy this fight.

But I'm still picking GGG to win maybe by decision or knock out if he can still pull the trigger.

https://www.boxingscene.com/golovkin-vs-murata-official-saitama-december-29-on-dazn--161939

These two boxers have nice track records which just implies that this match is something worth watching for. Both boxers have good winrate which are also nice matches if you'll look back. The recent matches were KO's which exhibits strong fighting style of both boxers. Golovkin and Murata have both been inactive for some time but certainly they will provide us a good game that would be entertaining and thrilling to watch.

Although I must admit that in this upcoming fight, I think GGG would be in advantage side because he is more experienced compared to Murata which is yet an uprising boxer in the industry. GGG has more fight and wins over Murata but that doesn't also discredit the skills and talent the latter has in boxing.

I'm very much looking forward to see their match. This would be a nice year ender fight for 2021.
2647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are crypto owners naturally paranoid? on: November 13, 2021, 12:37:02 PM
You can say that. But actually, it depends.

Crypto owners have funds and assets to secure from scam, schemes, and hacking. We can't really blame someone if they are naturally paranoid or anxious about their funds' safety or whenever they do transactions because maybe that's their way to assure himself that he will not lose anything. There were several instances that despite all the efforts of someone to make their assets secure, their assets still end up getting hacked and stolen. The basic rule of not clicking any links and putting confidential information such as email, password, and seedphrase on any website or app that pops up is one way to take care of your funds. However, take note that it isn't really enough to safeguard your assets from possible disaster. Hence, most crypto users use hardware wallet which has a 2FA feature that they could use to confirm every transaction they will make. Cold storage is one of the best way to protect your account from hacking. But take note that sometimes the human error also contribute to losses so despite having hardwallet, you should still always be careful. After all, hardware wallet doesn't give you a 100% immunity from hacking and scamming. Take good care of your funds because it is your duty as an owner. You don't have anyone to blame when something happens but yourself the moment you messed up.
2648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your strategy to carry on making money when Bitcoin turns bearish on: November 13, 2021, 12:11:18 PM
Hi, I'm just trying to plan ahead here and assuming that we are going to have a bear market at some point in the next couple of years, I would like to try to put my bull market profits to good use. I was wondering what is your strategy to continue making money when things turn bearish?

Whether it's shorting, leveraging, trading, earning interest, finding hidden gems, longing coins that perform well in a bear market, investing in gold or the stock market or anything else, I'm interested to hear what strategies you are planning to use and how you are planning to execute them in order to continue making money. If you made money during the last bear market I would be interested to hear how you did that as well.

Thanks.

Cryptocurrency has bullish and bearish season. As much as bullish market is beneficial to most people who are doing crypto, we can't also deny the fact that bearish market is inevitable. Hence, you shouldn't just only rely on crypto because there will be days that the market would just be red. If you sell, you lose. It's really advisable to make many stream of income so that when bearish market enters, we have income generating fall backs.

Diversify your funds. Allocate it in different investment vehicles that are reputable and trusted. You could check how stock market works and see if you'll have the gist and like it.  You could also make use of your passion to have some sort of side hustles that could make some money alongside with watching the market movement. Or you can start a small business that is relevant and needed by the people in your community. You can also freelance online with the skills and talents you have. Selling something could be an option too. You see, there are so many things that you can make a profit with. You just have to be creative, strategic, and determined. After all, it isn't always christmas in crypto. There are low and saddening days too. We just have to utilize the resources we have to survive while the market is still on its low phase.
2649  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshihill is scammer on: November 13, 2021, 11:12:42 AM
Hello All
I want to share my experience with you.
FIRST OF ALL, YOU MUST KNOW SHATOSHIHILL IS A SCAMMER. THEY SCAM USERS!!!!

I invested there to gain 0.075% daily. after few days I found they activated 2FA password for me and by this, they totally blocked my a.c, I am sure I have not activated it and also I took a pic and save the security key in my folder and even it was not working there!!!!
After that, I made a new account to have communicate with them but they have not responded at all!!!

The most interesting part is, Nobody can active 2FA for his account, I was trying to do it for my new account and it was not working!!! Since no one can activate it, You can imagine what's happened! They steal all my money.  Huh Huh Undecided Undecided
I have sent a complaint to Daniel the owner of bustabit (the most famous and oldest crash site) and he replied to me:

satoshihill.com is pirating bustabit's software and appropriately has been listed as a fraudulent site at https://bustabit.com/license.txt for some time. If they are willing to steal from bustabit I'm not surprised that they would be willing to steal from users as well.

Unfortunately, there is not much you can do after the fact. If the amount is significant I recommend reporting the incident to law enforcement. In addition, consider describing your experience in their forum thread on the Bitcoin Forums: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5310686.0. This will give the casino another opportunity to respond and perhaps rectify the situation and warn other users.

Daniel at bustabit:

=====================================
If you have a look at the chat panel also you will find all people are chatting are fake they just put random words and none of them respond to you no one in the chat is real. They are putting words in chat very frequently to clear the history of chat, so if Someone also comes and says something it will disappear in a minute!

I am going to tell everybody about this scamming and I hope I can save people not coming there. I am going to make a clip to put it in youtube to show How satoshilill is scamming people.

This kind of scenario could have been avoided if you just researched well, checked their background first, the reviews about them, and if you just asked others input or experience about the website and game in genera. But the damage has been done and it's too late to do it now. I hope this will serve as a lesson to you though in the future to not trust easily most especially if a hefty amount of money in involved.

I've done some research about Satoshihill and just from a few clicks I managed to know it isn't really a trustworthy site. First of all, there is no such thing as free bitcoin. Nowadays, it requires a good set up to mine a bitcoin. The cost of mining just to acquire a bitcoin or a portion of it is high, so why would a site give it for free? That alone sounds really sketchy. In addition, 5% referral seems to high. This sites claims to be provably fair, but there isn't really enough evidence that it indeed is. Also, you can see from the website itself how it was presented. Didn't you doubt the interface and graphics? The reviews about it are also bad which should have stopped you from risking to it. The customer service is said to be poor and there has so many complaints about it because they tend to ban most users that aren't even doing something against the terms of service.

I just hope you'll be able to get your money back. But if ever you don't, consider this as a lesson and just think of the money you lost as a tuition or charge from experiencing it. Because if indeed it is proven to be a scam, the probability of your money being returned is too low. I hope you can also consider posting this to scam and accusations board together with your proofs so that more people would be aware of it.
2650  Economy / Gambling / Re: If your games aren't provably fair, stop claiming they are. on: November 13, 2021, 10:34:25 AM
I'm not an expert on the technical side of this problem, but I agree with your statement.
Casino owners must not lie to their customers.Being honest to your clients is a very important part of doing business. This applies to every business, not just the gambling business.
On the other hand, the people should be skeptical about all casinos and they should just play for fun and bet small amounts of crypto.Gambling with the assumption that you will make money and betting big amounts of crypto in slots/dice/hi lo games is a recipe for disaster.
At the end of the day,the casino always wins.It doesn't matter if the games are "probably fair" or rigged.

I agree with you, mate. Any business requires transparency of its products and services so that they could gain people's trust as well as to have permanent and more clients. In this kind of industry, the casino establishments must be true to their customers because if they won't, their reputation would be at stake. We are talking about money and reliability here. Once the customer lost their trust to you, consider them gone. Money is very much needed in this trying times, hence we should be able to make the most of it. Casinos should not be greedy because after all, they are making a profit from their regular customers.

The gamblers should also always be on their guard to check if the house is still playing fair. As a gambler, it is your responsibility to take good care of your fund because gambling is risky enough. It gets riskier the moment you don't analyze or double check what needs to be looked at. In addition, the ever told rule to only risk what you can afford to lose so that you won't end up devastated later if things don't go on your favor.
2651  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't lose your profit unnecessarily on: November 12, 2021, 03:56:24 PM
It's not bad to take your profits out as long as it is bigger than the transaction fee you're gonna pay every time you'll withdraw it on an exchange. Also, it's not bad as well to keep your profits with your capital for some time because for me it's motivating, since you'll see that you've made already an X amount of money for a short period of time and that's awesome.
2652  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about staking? on: November 12, 2021, 03:07:12 PM
I don't like it, just my opinion.

I mean if you don't know anything except from staking then go for it, however, it doesn't make sense if you'll only stake a very small amount of token in it, just a waste of time. Stock trading is more profitable if you want to make money with your sleeping cryptocurrency in your wallet. It's more profitable in my opinion and more fun rather than staking.
2653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you think of Meta (Facebook) allowing bets in the metaverse on: November 12, 2021, 12:53:58 PM
I have a positive attitude to the development of the metaverse, because it is a completely new trend which is inspired by new technologies. I don't know how quickly gambling will be integrated into the metaverse but it will happen anyway.

It seems to me that gambling will not be added to Meta right away because Mark Zuckerberg does not want to attract the attention of regulators.

well, with the size and importance the company has right now it's not like they can make a move without the regulators noticing
that's why Libra, the facebook currency was not released

but I bet Zuck still didn't gave up on an idea like that.

Maybe the reason behind that is they are going to put it all out in the Metaverse. I've done some research about it and rebranding their name into "Metaverse" is something we could look forward to, since it's about like virtual reality thingy that could make us feel that we definitely near in the future we are watching in movies, you know A.I technology and other amazing stuff.

However, as the technology move forwards, it's kinda creepy and alarming at some point, in my opinion. Facebook is about socializing people around the world but since they are promoting a lot of stuff, they plan to make it big and the name "facebook" doesn't suit it anymore.
2654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Insight into German's loosened restrictions (hopefully) on: November 12, 2021, 11:34:03 AM
I agree with the article.

Government don't need to ban or put too much restrictions in gambling because it will backfire on them. They need to make the right law that will benefit all parties (Gambling platforms, players, and Government) because the taxes that is being generated in gambling industry is no joke, it contributes a lot in the Government that could be use to develop their countries into a better one.

Underage people playing gambling cannot be avoided unless a proper monitoring from parents are gonna be done every single day.
2655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sky Vegas could face legal action due to promotional emails on: November 12, 2021, 10:33:07 AM
The mistakes I've seen here is that Sky Vegas and I guess all of the casinos in will never care about what you're doing in life, whether you get addicted on gambling or recovering from your gambling addiction, and sending a promotional emails on their players seems a little bit insensitive, especially if that certain client is not playing gambling for years already. So I would understand if someone will definitely goes up against this kind of action.
2656  Economy / Economics / Re: Who wants to do what. Jobs or business.. on: November 11, 2021, 10:26:54 AM
At present we all want to finish our studies and get a good job. But when a man finishes his studies and wants to get a job, it is not easy for him to get the job. Again, some people take small jobs with some bribes from the leaders and then it is seen that the family does not survive with their small jobs because slowly the world is becoming digital and everything is more expensive. So if one takes initiative in advance then one can enjoy his life better. The job is to work under people, the business is to give people job under themselves and to help many helpless people.
So I hope your comments are good. Job or business..

This matter is subjective. It depends on the preferences of a person and his capability to do either or both of it.

They keep on saying, education is an important tool. Indeed it is. Education is something that cannot be stolen by anyone from us. Although this is often misunderstood that education must come from the four walls of a classroom. No, it doesn't need be acquired only at school. It could be also from your experiences. Education from schools can be of great help most especially if you want to pursue professional field such as being a doctor, teacher, or lawyer.  It can be your stepping stone to achieve what you define success, but you could also rise to the top without it because after all, determination, perseverance, and nice strategy could also get you far ahead.

There are people who are less fortunate that don't have the capability of studying to a decent and reputable schools. Hence, they have no other choice but to stand for themselves at a very young age. Finding ways on how to survive on a daily basis without a college degree or diploma to show and offer, but ended up successful. It's because they have strategies which cause their small ideas, crafts, and businesses blossom into something big. You see, education in a formal school won't guarantee you a successful life. It won't guarantee you a work after graduation. It won't promise you a nice paying salary either. But you could always look beyond that and start something you are passionate about. You can study and do business at the same time. You could opt not to study and do business if that's what your heart wants. Or you could study and pursue your field of expertise and not do business if that's what you think your calling is.

The bottomline here is you do what you want to do. If you see something that will be beneficial to you, growing as a person in different aspects, then do it. Pursue your calling. It could be hard because not everyone is experiencing same storm, but we could always make a way to survive the rain and the heavy winds that has keep on drowning us. Job or business, both are decent opportunities to generate income. Do what you think will suits you best and will fulfill the desires of your heart as well as your goals in life.
2657  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks will die crypto will take over in 5-10 years on: November 11, 2021, 09:44:24 AM
Banks will die crypto will take over in 5-10 years

Why ? They are starting to ask to many personal questions and monitoring people like they are criminals / terrorists etc ...even if they are not ...
Govs want to much control on people...the world is becoming very strange and it all started with 9/11 attacks ...  to many coincidences

To many things happened in 2 decades :
Terrorists attacks / Wars on Terror / Arab spring  / SARS / Climate Change / Covid / Global trade problems  and so on ...

Before 2001 life was normal ...does how are older remember ... now they are not even hidding it / no longer in the shadows what they are trying to do ...

Is it just to take peoples freedom for the "greater good" ?  Will people allow their freedom to be taken ?

This is just pure assumptions without backed up evidences. A mere opinion that won't really matter and happen anytime soon at the very least.

The things you are stating are really impossible to happen. By just looking back at the history and economics, banks did exist long before, up until today, and definitely it would still exist in the future. It won't be eliminated that easily by the crypto community. No matter how crypto will be widely known and used, banks will continue to exist. I think what's more fitting to say would be banks and crypto would coexist as an alternative for each other during the next few years. It's possible that in the future, the population of cryptocurrency users will grow big and it will be adopted by numerous establishments and could possibly be adopted by a central organization as well.

Banks are just doing what it was supposed to do. If you are not fond of KYC, then don't make a bank account and just patronize a decentralized platform. KYC is done in order to verify the background information as well as the activities of the clients to ensure a safe and healthy ecosystem for both banks and customers.

The problems and challenges you have mentioned have been overcame and definitely we will overcome. Nice set of leaders are needed in order to maintain peace and harmony as well as to combat the pandemic situation we are in right now. You see, not every government is corrupt. There are still clean politicians sitting on their positions and we just have to find and elect them to make a change.
2658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I not lose money in trading cryptocurrency? on: November 11, 2021, 07:53:27 AM
To what i think on my own view i don't know if i can get more knowledge and understanding to this.
You just have to understand the market, you need to be able to study and know when it’s a right time for you to invest and withdraw your crypto currency. And also remember only invest money you know you can make back even if you lose the money.

Foremost, you should know the golden rule which is to only invest what you can afford to lose. You shouldn't risk the money that you need for your daily expenses because there's no guarantee that you can gain it back or even profit. Hence, you should only invest or gamble your spare money. So if ever you will lose, you will not be impacted by it that much in a negative manner. Rather than sulking, you'll easily move on and take it as a charge for experience.

Next one would be, invest in knowledge and skills. Your very first investment should  be yourself. Invest in books, watch videos tutorials on how to read the market movement, what approach should be done in every situation presented, how to do technical analysis, and how to calculate your decision everytime so that you won't be carried away with the hype and FOMO.

Lastly, let yourself experience it first hand. Execute all the things that you have learned and practice it. There are so many platforms that offer practice trading for the beginners. Utilize those to your benefit so that before diving into actual trading, you know the runarounds of it.
2659  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FortuneJack making 120,000 dollars disappear from my account! on: November 11, 2021, 06:14:39 AM
Hello,
I was really excited when I won a combination of 2 sportsbets in football (PSG-LILLE and some other German match that I forgot). I placed 2 big bets of 20 XMR each on correlated events from these 2 matches (because the system wouldn't let me bet it all on one event, that's because the max win per bet is 100,000 euros equivalent), for a total possible win of approximately 20 times those 2 amounts. And boom, I won! I see on my account 899 XMR. Pretty amazing huh? Not yet.

After a while I see all of a sudden my account at 430 XMR. Whaaaaaaat??? I contact the support she tells me that she sees I placed bets after my win. Not even close. My bet history shows I did not. The reality of the matter is, one of those bets have passed from the winning status to some weird status, neither won or lost, with some orange line besides them (plus some 2 or 3 very small bets of 1 XMR each). Then all of a sudden my bet history disappears. Now I've screen recorded all of my bets as I always do with such amounts. Am I allowed to win or what?

Has anyone has had any problems with this casino before? The chat says they will contact me later. But this is starting to become seriously inconvenient.

Plus I've had a problem before with their live dealer hitting my 20 in blackjack (yes, because they had some issues with their buttons) and they refused to refund me the equivalent of 20,000 dollars because of that. Now I saw they had pretty good Sportsbet promotions so I said why not Sportsbet. But now this is seriously starting to get ridiculous.

It's been 2 weeks since this post was posted. What move did you get from FortuneJack? Were their customer service representatives able to provide you the help that you need to your concern? I have read a scam accusation to them yesterday too but it was a different story with the same ground of lost money. You can post this topic on Scam and Accusations board so that they could look into it and investigate it. If you know it to yourself that you are telling the truth, there's no need to worried about. Just provide all the evidences and proofs you've gathered and include it the next time you will post. Screen recordings, screenshots of history, screenshots of conversation with the cs that you talked to would definitely help.

The amount you've lost is definitely not just small so it's really something to be bothered of. Just continue to communicate with them and if they will neglect your concern, you can escalate it further so that they could learn their lesson.
2660  Economy / Gambling / Re: Automated Betting Software on: November 11, 2021, 05:38:27 AM
Hi guys i'm not sure if this is a good place to post this, please let me know if it's in wrong forum - it has nothing to do with BTC

I've been working for about 3 years to build an automated betting system. It has been live for the last 2 years and is now very stable and bug free. High level it gets odds, finds opportunities, places bets, records outcomes and shows P&L. It covers pre game and live and all sports. Almost all of P&L is pre game, I haven't been able to get live working well.

What i want to find is someone with successful live betting strategy, any sport but ideally soccer, that needs a high performance automation tool to partner with me.

I'm happy to provide more info to anyone interested

Thanks

You are in the right forum, your post is still related on gambling after all.

I'm not quite sure, but I think automated bets are not really going good with the terms, conditions and policies of the casinos. Correct me if I'm wrong though. What are your plans after establishing this software? Are you planning to sell it to the casinos? If so, you will have a hard time because this could be played by bots which could endanger the ecosystem of the community they are maintaining.

But this is a nice innovation, you just have to enhance more of its features to be suitable for casinos. After all, automatic betting don't also guarantee a sure win and profit. Machines can also make errors along the way. It would be much better if you will discuss and elaborate further what your are trying to do with your software and how it would benefit the players that would be using it. Features that could be of great help when placing a bet with increase chance of winning would be awesome. But of course that would also eat most of your time since coding and logic is not an easy job. Hopefully, you'll be able to push this through. Keep us posted on your progress. It'll be very much appreciated if you would drop some links in yt containing video and such for better clarity of the readers.
