I was just pointing out that I haven't seen any corroborating evidence from anyone else that these are back in stock and shipping and friedcat hasn't bothered to update his thread topic or OP. I'm just being cautious! Btw, I've gone in for part of an order with someone else local to me in your 9th, so I do want to get these ASAP! this is my 10th group buy... |

Please ask for stock information to our official resellers. Currently all USBs in stock of our place are either placed as orders or reserved for resellers. We will process existing orders, but not new ones, till our stock is refilled by our factory.

Just got this from friedcat: " They were already shipped. The tracking number will be reported to you as soon as it's generated. Please note that we added more variance in the new products (LED color). This batch's LED color is a little less annoying (yellow green instead of green) when the USB idles." so group 9 has shipped, awaiting tracking number  on to setup group 10 since stock is again available. At what point are you shipping then Canary? Daily or every 200 units or ....? Just so I can attempt to guesstimate delivery days. I will likely continue to order a few times a week.

I collected from two locations this weekend, and hope to get a few more that are further out this week. I'm collecting capped comb. That's ok right?
So this is what I need:
5 x 10ml samples (50ml total) from a single hive (a jar of honey is about 350ml for comparison).
Out of these 5 samples, 3 will be randomly selected for testing.
I'm assuming those 5 samples are from different locations in the hive, representing different times and sources of nectar? If that is not the case, then wouldn't 3 samples be sufficient? Just trying to figure out the statistical advantage of randomizing samples from the same hive. so typically, in studies, randomization is used to protect against selection bias... Sampling from the same hive could be a pseudo-replicate and be meaningless to have so many samples. The original instructions just ask for 5 samples, which could include taking a big chunk of honey comb that gets split it into five samples. Randomizing the selection of 3 out of the 5 in this situation would be pointless. If the samples were from different frames, then there would be a difference in time and nectar source, which would make sense. I collected my samples from different frames just in case that is what he really wants. But it would be a lot easier to sample from the same frame, and only send 3 samples.  what you say makes sense, but as soon as one needs to publish a paper/thesis, the scientific establishment wants to see certain things... like how was the study designed wrt to randomization etc... |

yes same question as my funds are locked until 7-8pm tonight and I would like to get the 4 I mentioned earlier. doesn't matter because I've pre-ordered the units already. so when the total number of units begins to reach what I have pre-ordered, I will close it. we are nowhere near the ordered number yet. |
