after several PMs requesting this, here you go:

2013-05-29: add .12 for next day shipping if your order is less than 10 units and you want next day instead of priority.

Does the same offer (or a similar one at a different price) apply to Canadian orders?
no, fedex is quoting me $75 to ship next day to Canada... so it would be .57 bitcoins
3544  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: USA/Canada [Group Buy #3 @1/50] ASICMiner Erupter USB 2.03636 each @ 5 units on: May 29, 2013, 07:05:22 PM
The one thing anyone can do to make everything smooth and easy is sign a message with a wallet you control.  If you can't sign a message with your shipping info, you will create delays for yourself and slow me down too.

Next, when signing a message, most of the time I have no clue what the actual message is, it's hard to guess and in order to verify, it has to be precise.

For example:

You should send me something like this:

Address: 1L6ZbfnfMmcqFPJ97aZNqozKZQjDWppcmj
-------------BEGIN---------------------
Please ship to:
John Smith
123 Way Ave
City, IL 60188

3549  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Should I sell my Jalapeno? Seems to be working fine, but... on: May 29, 2013, 06:01:31 PM
My BFL Jalapeno has been hashing along nicely for 4 days now at approx 5.5GH/s according to bitminter. At the time of this post, bitminter reports that I've mined exactly 1BTC. Hooray! But now I could use some advice from you veteran miners:

1) Should I just sell my Jalapeno since they are apparently in silly-high demand this week (might be worth about $3,000 USD based on an auction just completed on bitcointalk)

or

2) Should I mine with it and hope that I can mine $3,000 USD worth before the difficulty goes through the roof?

TL;DR: Kill golden goose, or harvest eggs?

I just don't have a good sense of how fast/crazy the difficulty is changing with all these ASICs coming online. I've looked at some charts, but I'm betting folks on this forum have put a lot more thought into this question than I have:

What do you think 5.5GH/s will earn 100 days from now? 0.2BTC/day? Or more like 0.02BTC/day?

what I would do is check the math to see if you should sell for btc and buy avalon chips with proceeds... figure on july/August, then use those chips and turn them into Klondike units and keep hashing Smiley

lock in me for 5.  i also want upgraded shipping, so how much extra do i need to send?  I will send the BTC as soon as i get that info.

5=1.99*5 + 0.2318=9.95+0.2318= 10.1818 BTC
It's .12 btc to upgrade to next day shipping
so since I havent actually sent the BTC am I not getting in on this 1st 50+ group buy?  i can send the BTC around 3pm CST.
I will have a 3rd group by up by that time.  you will get in on that one
my impulse to buy 5 of them might have waned by then...   Wink
OK, no problem. if it re-emerges by 3 PM CST, you know what to do Wink

3553  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: OPEN - [CANADA only - Group Buy #1 @2/50] ASICMiner Erupter USB 2.03 each + S&H on: May 29, 2013, 04:40:28 PM
Hmmm. Why would this cost more per unit than other group buys?
probably because of his time value of money/reward/cost.  the shipping variance might be due to shipping weight (dunno about Canadian shipping).
I've had many PMs from Canada looking for 1-2 units, so this group buy should go through.
Good luck!
