Only if you sold, only if you sold.
2742  Economy / Speculation / Re: Going to ~270 again. on: December 17, 2014, 04:06:00 PM
why is "again"??
I think he means that about a month or 2 back, it touched 275 for some time, and then bounced back. Probably refering to that

6 hours is hardly "some time".. Just saying.
2743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Quadruple bottom(ish)..? on: December 17, 2014, 04:04:42 PM
what if i tell you: there is no bottom

I will gladly let you pay me to take your bitcoins then, Wink.
2744  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you see what I see? on: December 17, 2014, 03:59:17 PM
the low isn't higher and it's not a tripple bottom but therefore the  total amnesia and lack of a brain of most participants in this thread has been confimed.

You are correct it is a quadruple bottom.

The price has dropped into the mid 3's and high 2's 4 times and bounced back each time.

This doesn't mean it won't go lower but it is right in the numbers just open the eyes.

If you are looking for a double, triple "bottom" of $275.968438438095680952809458094236709843275465 or perhaps 268.45843258094358432806574392852965   you are just wow.
2745  Economy / Speculation / Re: Quadruple bottom(ish)..? on: December 17, 2014, 03:56:03 PM
more down was obvious. Maybe total fail possible. Don't invest more than you can afford to loose, bitch. I mean: loose it all - it's possible

As we haven't gone belowe $275-250, I stand by my statement still.

I don't mean the bottom is $275.8492143058321843954854303988538219105843876784752658769876538765987067854675853

I mean it is an area.  $270-360

$200-250

$80-120
2746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XJO] Joulecoin | SHA256 | Quick transactions | Transaction comments on: December 17, 2014, 01:55:10 PM
Anyone got any ideas for what we can do with this coin?

Anyone make a phone wallet for it?

Althought I do really wish some would make a jouleaddress.org that is like bitaddress.org..

I would probably throw 100 milibits(perhaps more) in for this or some XJO.
2747  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: interesting question.... on: December 17, 2014, 01:43:53 PM
Would you still mine bitcoin if the price went under $50 and difficulty stayed the same?

Yes.
2748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin... on: December 17, 2014, 01:41:09 PM
Why would I ask the question a few times if I could find them....

Thank you for the links!

I highly doubt it water is amazing at absorbing heat.
2752  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining job for an IT pro? on: December 16, 2014, 09:25:33 PM
Hopefully not too far off topic...

With mining being so specialized, would you consider a full-time mining job a career killer?  I'd hate to wake up in 5 years to realize that my skills have gone to crap and find myself unemployable.

Thoughts?

What?  A full-time mining job what is this black magic?
2753  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Hi All, Could use some advice before buying a home miner or more cloud mining on: December 16, 2014, 09:24:26 PM
Operating costs have eating up all 3 of my attempts at cloud mining.

If you are paying 7 cents a KW/hour IMO it does not make sense to cloud mine.

Buy a Bitmain S3 from kijiji.  Or something that has 1w/Ghash or less.  Should not be paying more than 80 cents a Ghash either.
2754  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Im new, but best way to get started... on: December 16, 2014, 09:22:26 PM
I am widly agaisnt cloud mining.  I do not recommend it.  I would recommend it over a pre-order but that is not saying much at all.

2755  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Power Hungry ASIC on: December 16, 2014, 09:14:48 PM
A limit as in you can use as much as you want or it's free...

If it's free I'd go buy a mass amount of S1's as they offer the best $/Ghash out there.

If it was I just could use as much as I want spoodlies or bitmain for sure looking at the best Watt/Ghash ratio.
2756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin... on: December 16, 2014, 08:16:12 PM
Any opinions on this?

Also I cannot find a mining pool any suggestions?

If you believe in BTC, you can mine for XPY sell them for BTC and do better than mining for BTC right now.
Also, people directing hashing at XPY and away from BTC will lower difficulty potentially on BTC ? Blocks are almost 11 min. apart now ..

That is exactly what I would do...  It seems like the ultimate pump and dump.. :S.
2757  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bit coin is on a down hill slope on: December 16, 2014, 07:41:41 PM
I understand the initial get rich quick phase is now over... I am a true believer that good things comes to those that wait. I don't mind waiting a year or two and let me mining machines keep plodding away and then cash out when things get a little better... but as i keep seeing more and more big firms taking on the payment of bitcoin it feels me with more and more hope that this will in the first or second quarter of 2015...

Does anyone else agree with me on this one?

I have a feeling there are still A LOT of speculators messing around keeping the price suppressed or over valued.  TBH I am not sure which one.

I use bitcoin soo.. the price can do w/e.
2758  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Ruble drops 12% in one day. on: December 16, 2014, 07:39:48 PM
Is ruble fully backed by gold??? I thought only swiss franc has that.

Back in 1999, the Swiss voted 59% for changing their constitution, specifically to remove the 40% gold-backing from the Swiss Franc.
Recently, a referendum to at least require the central bank to hold 20% of its reserves at gold was proposed as a step towards reintroducing a gold standard.  It was defeated with 78% voting against.

I wonder if you had to have an IQ of atleast 110 to vote what would of happend.
2759  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Ruble drops 12% in one day. on: December 16, 2014, 07:38:52 PM
Is ruble fully backed by gold??? I thought only swiss franc has that. Anyway that is the beauty of fiat issued bank notes. When the value drops and in order to counter inflation, banks can have the option to hike interest rate. 17% is not a small amount. For bitcoin to gain advantage in this area would be quite difficult and unless you can guarantee the equivalent same amount of return in a year, then it's different. And looking at the bitcoin price chart today, it's quite frustrating. Otherwise people would still hang on to fiat.

INNCORRECT, no one is backed by gold, no one.  The swiss left that ages ago.. almost  re-enstated it but the banksters spent billions to scare them out of it.
