This can really be true because he is really enjoying his game right now. This season is also going on really good for him. He made two hat-tricks recently as well. Maybe his performance this season isn't the same as the previous one but it must still be enough for Real Madrid. They will need his productivity in the Champions League as well while we are very close to the quarter final games.

I'm seeing Roma one step ahead of Feyenoord in their matchup honestly. But I must admit that Feyenoord are doing even better than the previous season now.

They are getting close to the Eredivisie title every week and they are really impressive in the Europa League as well. They played a final game against Roma in the Europa Conference League in that season as you must be remembering. Now they must be aiming the same round in the Europa League. Roma is a big obstacle ahead though. Their job won't be easy as it was against Shakhtar. I think this will also a be a competitive matchup and Roma will send their opponent home as disappointed once again.

There is a really long time until the next race in Azerbaijan. I'm really disappointed to come across a long break like this so early in the season. It is like a summer break I mean. Anyway I hope that Ferrari make use of this free time as good as possible to make an improvement. Because they look really slow and problematic still. Mercedes and Aston Martin both impress us more.

It is really funny to see Ferrari having the same kind of communication and call issues this season as well. Especially Leclerc must be having difficulties in staying patient despite all this.

Honestly I had some doubts about PSG to get past Nice today. But Messi was there to take a big responsibility to help his team win by one goal and an assist. Mbappe was also on the field but we didn't see this kind of a contribution from him. After seeing PSG that much inconsistent I was doubting them about winning this game honestly but they proved me wrong.

PSG need to keep winning from now on otherwise they might have to face the possibility of even losing the lead to Lens or Marseille.

On the first day of the quarter finals the most attention getting game is going to be Manchester City - Bayern Munich obviously.

Manchester City are quite highly favoured for the win by bookmakers now. But I find this odd gap quite bigger than it should be. Because these are both title contenders currently. Yeah maybe Manchester City are really effective in home games but still we are talking about a challenging opponent like Bayern Munich. I expect both legs to be competitive honestly but I hope Manchester City manage to get a good result in Etihad. Because I really want them to even win the title as they have zero title in the CL.

Such an incredible performance by Leverkusen since Xabi Alonso came to the team. Lastly they got a 3-1 win over Frankfurt and now they are the owner of the 6th position in the standings.

It must really be like a dream for the team now. Because before Xabi Alonso came they were struggling too much and we were watching them around the relegation zone. But now things have changed completely. Now they are seriously in the fight for European cups. I think they totally deserve to qualify for one with this effort level now. I hope to see them finishing in top 6 and being a successful run in the Europa League as well.

After seeing the performances in the first half I was thinking about the possibility that Real Madrid might lose points against Villarreal once again.

But this loss by 3-2 was much beyond my expectation from this game. Villarreal even made a comeback while they were 2-1 behind I mean. Doing this in Santiago Bernabeu is a pretty difficult work honestly. But I assume especially one thing was also a factor about this result to happen. This thing is that Real Madrid don't have a league title goal anymore. They must be fully focused on the Champions League and Copa del Rey from now on.

Juventus could have got one point against Lazio today actually. They stepped up their performance in the second half but their main problem was with finding the target. Because they were worse than the first half about that as they had only one shot on target in the whole half. They had the most ball possession in the same half as well but these all weren't any help for points.

But Juventus are really lucky that Atalanta lost as well on one hand. I wasn't expecting them to lose to Bologna home though. It looks like Juventus missed a big opportunity to catch up with them more too.

Manchester United continue from where they left. They added another victory to their winning streak by this one against Everton. Honestly they haven't been having a very challenging matchup for two weeks. But it was important for them to win to finish their bad form. In addition to that they are fighting for ending the season in top four so they need to keep this going as much as possible.

I see another comfortable game next time which is going to be an away game against Nottingham. As long as the Red Devils don't underestimate their opponent they should be good to go.

Juventus are going to have a much more difficult matchup in this round this time. Sporting have eliminated the biggest title contender in the tournament which were Arsenal.

This would surely give some momentum to Sporting in the Europa League. However I still don't trust them more than Juventus now. Because Juventus are technically a much bigger team than them. If they don't make the mistakes Arsenal made then they should be able to eliminate Sporting. We just might not see a complete domination by Juventus in the away game especially. But in Turin I will have bigger expectations from Juventus of course.

Lens are still continuing in a very determined way in this season. They got another win and made the gap with PSG only three points as well. PSG haven't played their game yet though but I don't trust them completely either. This time they are playing an away game against Nice. After seeing how many times PSG lost to the other big teams in this league it is really hard to predict them.

Lens are indeed one of the surprising teams this season and they are still able to stay in a title rivalry. I would like to see them in the Champions League after all that effort.

Liverpool - Arsenal game is closing in on us now. This is a very important game for especially Arsenal of course. They need to keep this good form continuing for the league title. They already have a significant level of advantage against Manchester City in the standings. The point gap is quite big and even playing their missing game wouldn't be enough to get too close to Arsenal.

While Liverpool are kind of aimless now Arsenal should go for this opportunity. Even though this is a big game anyway I still expect to see Arsenal being dominant here. Liverpool are still struggling with the same defensive issues.

It was such an unbelievable game between Sevilla and Celta Vigo really. Despite getting a red card Sevilla got 2-0 ahead in the game. But they couldn't keep this advantage to the end of the game. Celta Vigo made a really amazing comeback in the last moments by scoring two goals in only a few minutes. Sevilla even completed the game with 9 players.

There was a good opportunity for Sevilla to win anyway but they somehow couldn't prevent the goals came that late. Getting a win here would have been great for them to be in a safer distance from the relegation zone.

There is also a game between Leverkusen and Frankfurt tomorrow. This should be a quite competitive game first of all. Because there is only a one-point gap between them now.

Besides Leverkusen are actually in a much better shape these days. Because their form has been incredible while Frankfurt's is horrible for many weeks. Leverkusen should be able to use this very positive momentum for their advantage here. Their latest game in the league resulted in a big mess for Leverkusen. But they aren't playing that weak from now on. I'm trusting them about winning this game honestly.

PSG also seem to be interested in a move for Jude Bellingham now. Maybe it could be just a rumour as well but still this is the case now. This can make the competition to sign him quite fired up though. Because Real Madrid and Liverpool are also thinking of making an offer for him in the summer. Especially Real Madrid seem to be ahead of Liverpool now.

I wonder if PSG's entering the race would change something about Bellingham's decision. He has been eager to sign for Real Madrid so far. I think he would still go with Real Madrid.

Something really bad is going on with Inter these days and they couldn't get a win once again. I thought they would be able to beat Salernitana today at least. But they couldn't prevent a draw at the end. Now they are under the threat of Roma about losing the fourth position in the standings. Winning against Torino will make Roma get ahead of Inter right away.

Torino are a tough team to beat though so maybe Inter might be able to maintain their position this week. But this still doesn't change the fact that they are really bad currently. They can find themselves out of top four soon in this way.

This game was a big disappointment for Dortmund here. Their performance was such a poor one against Leipzig that they really deserved this loss by 2-0.

Leipzig still were able to score the second goal very late in the game. Dortmund might have caught them by surprise if they saw this as an opportunity. However it wasn't like we had the same Dortmund we have in the Bundesliga. They didn't seem interested in this tournament. Even Bayern Munich seemed more willing to win here honestly. Dortmund should have been better than this because there isn't any guarantee that they will win the Bundesliga title.

Monaco are another team following Lens - Marseille duo right behind in the standings now. There is only a gap of three points so it can be closed up for sure. The competition for the Champions League is just getting bigger while we are getting close to the end of the season on one hand. Monaco made a really big effort last season to qualify for the Champions League groups directly but they lost the position to Marseille in the final moments.

This time maybe they can do the same to them. But while there is Lens as well it wouldn't be easy at all though. Lens also have been beyond the expectations so far.

It looks like Mourinho is called with not only Chelsea but also with a Saudi Arabian team for next season. They say that he has got an enormous offer by such team already. I wonder if he is really thinking of leaving Europe in this case. I don't know if it is time for him to leave here before reaching a big achievement again. But I don't know if he can achieve it with Roma now.

Chelsea aren't rushing anything for now but I wonder how good they would be with Mourinho. I'm just not sure about him as his usual game plan is a little old from now on.

That win against Cadiz was really important for Sevilla. They are now four points ahead of the relegation zone and they need to keep getting away more week by week. This game against Celta Vigo tomorrow is a quite tough one as it seems. Their most recent head-to-head game also ended up with a draw. Celta Vigo can be quite durable here as well.

They even have a better placement than Sevilla now. Sevilla actually have a great potential but they are still on the brink of relegation. This team doesn't deserve this poor look.
