281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: War affects the Entire Cryptocurrency? on: January 10, 2020, 09:35:02 PM
Still don't understand why people are linking the whole thing together, I personally feel they don't correlate. Bitcoin sudden rise may not be linked to the war threat between USA and Iran. Though, there might be an increase in the price of Bitcoin if there is war because of inflation but we can't be sure this present rise is because of it. Anything might have triggered it. People might be be buying to invest for the year, we never can tell.
282  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Trend for 2020. on: January 10, 2020, 08:45:01 PM
There seems to be a little decrease in price lately. For me, I can't say there will be an increase in price or decrease in price generally in this year 2020. I am simply looking at the bright side as anything can happen.
Hopefully, I see a price increase of about 15k at the middle of the year, then dump. Then another pump towards the year ending. Fingers crossed: I am positive.
283  Economy / Economics / Re: Since 2009 There Was A 500% Increase In Internet Traffic. on: January 10, 2020, 07:37:33 PM
The cause of the 500% increase in internet traffic is simple: more people are becoming more aware of the right use and need of the Internet. This simply has nothing to do with Bitcoin nor blockchain technology. Do you know the amount of people that started using mobile phone then especially in underdeveloped countries? Its is the adaption of 'technology'.
Even if the the blockchain technology didn't emerge, there will still be this same growth in internet traffic.
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: January 10, 2020, 05:09:02 PM

Gambling for stress relief? How funny can this get.
Gambling alone can put one into stress. it's not only because of the loss that comes with it as you state but also because of the mental calculations on the right strategies that could result to winning. That alone can stress the brain.
When one play without thinking or calculating the chances, the loss becomes greater. Anyone that want t relieve stress should go watch a show and not gamble.

Maybe he means that stress from his job, so when he is playing gambling, he can get pleasure from gambling, and he can reduce his tension from his job. But I think he should consider using gambling as stress relief because if he loses money in gambling, his stress will be bigger than before, and I think if he doesn't have control of himself, he will ruin his day plus he will lose all of his money. I think it's not better if we are playing gambling if we are in stress because that can affect our emotions.

Well, that could also be it.
But the truth still remains that anyone who had a bad day at work has higher chances of losing in a game if they intend to use game to relieve themselves. Just a few of them might win which will lighten up their mood. Psychological, when one is frustrated or not in the exact mind to do things, they tend to do the things wrongly. Which means, gambling with less concentration can result to loss.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How i presently feel about bounties on: January 09, 2020, 11:42:02 PM
I'm starting to think its better to promote bounty projects with low allocation like 30k to 50k because they never failed to pay hunters, even if these projects find it hard to met softcap it will be easy to pay bounty rewards, this might be because of bear market but gone are those day of thousands dollar worth bounty rewards unless new wave of market movement takes place
This still does not guarantee the possibility of getting good gains when you sell the coin after listed not guarantee that the coin will stay around for a while and not dumped. Nor even make it as the top coins.
As more ICOs enter the market, more bounty are becoming scams. The little you can do is to get managed by a reputable bounty manager or use service that collect the tokens before bounty task. But the truth still remains that claiming bounties is a pure waste of time.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: January 09, 2020, 10:45:13 PM
Many gamblers are saying that they are only gambling for stress reliever but the thing is they keep becoming more stress if they lose in the gambling. For those who have a lot of money can say that gambling is for fun and stress reliever because they have a lot of money and they do not care even if they lose big.

287  Economy / Economics / Re: Iran/US tension's effect on crypto and economy ? on: January 09, 2020, 09:57:08 PM
We are still not sure what actually pumped the recent  price of Bitcoin. So we can't conclude that it is related to the tension between Iran and the United States of America. Since its the recent even that is rising, I guess it's more of the reason why people tend to link them. For your question, we don't hope to see another war, not in this time. If it ever happens, most underdeveloped countries will be affected. They are always the one been affected. If inflation breaks out, not everyone of them can invest or purchase Bitcoin as it price may pump more.
288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin now Pump and Dump? on: January 09, 2020, 08:47:46 PM
Whales are good at hyping the price of Bitcoin because of their own gain. Just a few of them give price speculation because of the potentiality the see in Bitcoin in the long run. Somehow this over hyping of price may be good but sometimes it could be the opposite.
It will draw people to invest in it, but can't keep them to hold for long. That's the down side.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction at its Worst! on: January 09, 2020, 07:52:33 PM
One thing about the gambling addiction that you would not have any consciousness about how you got addicted to it. Many of the players used to come just for fun but the ultimate gambling becomes their addiction. Like all other addiction, it is too much harmful too. When a gambler is gambling with lots of money he is risking his economical status and even of his family. His mind is so diversed by the gambling that his mood becomes very much arrogant.
Anyone that shows the sign of arrogance just because they start gambling is specifically arrogant by personality. It may be funny to say, but gambling can also bring out the true character of some people. Some people may be greedy, once they start gambling they display they greedy lifestyle in the game. Same goes with an arrogant person.
290  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will Bitcoin cost this year? on: January 09, 2020, 06:23:52 PM
Last year, the price of bitcoin had dropped drastically. If the price of Bitcoin rises to 20,000 by the end of this year, the price of Altcoin will rise as well. In countries where crypto currencies are banned, the price of bitcoin may still be very high if the currency goes down this year.

There is no certainty that the price of Altcoin will increase if Bitcoin price increases this year. However, what might drag the price of Altcoin to increase is if the coins are purchased more.
Moreover, we ain't even sure if the price of Bitcoin will reach 20k this year, but it's good to be positive though.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cools After Trump De-Escalates War With Iran on: January 08, 2020, 11:41:53 PM
War will never happen, there will be proxies fighting each other which is common nowdays. Iran will lose everything if it goes to war with the US. Bitcoin has a mild surge but, now it is going back to its original price. I expect it to slide below 7k within few days.

Don't say war will never happen as anything can happen because the future is undetermined and unpredictable.
Back to OP...
How exactly do this two relate? Bitcoin and the uprise war. Are you saying that most people where trying to accumulate cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin incase if there is war? I find it funny as how we tend to link Bitcoin prices to any event.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Online] Misclicks - Let's hear the stories good, bad, funny on: January 08, 2020, 10:15:23 PM
Almost every gambler could've experienced the experience of misclicks. Myself have lost big out of misclicks. Most of the gambler who use mobile for all the gambling needs experience this quite often. Out of misclicks I've lost more than $500, and every time after the incident used to request the support team for the refunding. Haven't got till date, most of the time the support team used to console with their words.
More than $500! Shocked that is really much to lose.
I can't imagine the frustration. Placing that fund twice or thrice in a game could have resulted to some winnings.
Also, I can't imagine the casino giving you back that fund, its always about the money for them. They won't even believe it was a misclick though but game misluck. Its a good thing they where sympathetic though.
293  Economy / Speculation / Re: Return of the bull? on: January 08, 2020, 07:12:05 PM
Since the recent price increase in Bitcoin from 7k to 8k, many people have been attributing this pump to some bull. I really don't understand the perception towards this. Do we now believe that there won't be any price pump in the price of Bitcoin till some bull alters it? This perception is wrong, IMO.
Personally, all I see is price increase as a result of market interaction and activities. The market is not dead people.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the price of Altcoin be good in 2020? on: January 07, 2020, 11:39:39 PM
In 2019, the price of Altcoin has dropped significantly. It is now hoped that the price of Altcoin will improve in 2020. Is that possible?
You are not really specific in the altcoin you are referring to. Not all altcoins are dumping, some are gradually picking up unlike the others. While others are the opposite. While some will cease to be heard of. This is how the market should be, one day it will be red another day it could be green
If you are having less confident on your investment in altcoins, migrate to Bitcoin to gain your confidence.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Views: Which Innovative Ways Government Might Use To Expand Crypto Use on: January 07, 2020, 11:19:41 PM
Introducing as a tax payment method is good though, as stated above. However, I think that just announcing and making it as part of of the law for any other payment is enough to drive cryptocurrency to widespread.
Most people are quick to believe and take serious whatever that is backed by law. Because they believe the law is the ultimate.
296  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now that we touched $8,000, what's next? on: January 07, 2020, 09:57:39 PM
The price increase does not necessarily mean a bull run. I don't even think the price will go down quickly for sometime. I feel it will stay up for the month or the next.
Ironic, many where lamenting about the price drop last week or so. Now its up, we are scared again.
Let's just learn to enjoy the money and the offer it brings. If the price goes down, we take it as the market behaviour with less panic, if it doesn't, we will keep hoping for the best.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin fail if Satoshi is found? on: January 07, 2020, 08:57:34 PM
I am sure some idiot would try to kill Satoshi and try to demoralize Bitcoin holders by making a martyr out of him. I doubt though that would do anything to compromise its existence due to it being so decentralized and will be mined long after his death I guess anyway. There would probably be some commotion and FUD caused to help get rid of weak hands again so a group of whales can stock up again. I very much doubt Bitcoin would die if Satoshi was ever found but that is just my guess.

Same thought too... Much effect won't be pleaded on Bitcoin but Satoshi Nakamoto.
Because people always love to link events to the price dump of Bitcoin. I am very sure if Satoshi is found many people will always link the price dump to him/her. They will believe he has sold a better part of his coin and it affects the coin. Glad the guy is annoymous.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: January 07, 2020, 05:03:33 PM
It just depends where you are talking about it and who are you talking to with it. It is indeed a danger if your are speaking it out loud in public places, especially those places you aren't that familiar. It will be really fun to talk about it with those who can relate.
Isn't it weird to start talking about your winnings in a public place when the person isn't asked about it? For one to start talking about it in public, it means that they might have been asked about it.
Then, one is expected to give fewer details and mot disclosing all.
299  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can one have any expertise in Speculating? on: January 03, 2020, 11:27:45 PM
I'm suggesting that there's no one who can forecast exactly what the bitcoin price will be next week. How can we believe that these years to come price predictions are going to be right? Bitcoin is not like government security bonds that will yield a steady return, full of uncertainty, and can bear any price. Stop predictions like that. If you're trying to predict price rather than long-term trend, you're going to get ruined in the long run.
I tend to call it 'guessing' cause that's what most people do. People guess what they 'hope' the price will be and get disappointed when it didn't work out.
We should look at the long term instead of short term, I notice that long term price prediction is almost closer than short term price prediction.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin over Bluetooth? on: January 03, 2020, 10:54:16 PM
This is the first time I am hearing about it and wondering the possibility of it.
Sending Bitcoin through Bluetooth is more like sending Bitcoin without Internet or offline.
With few research done, only a few have tried this with Airbitz. It is not popularly lately which shows that it is not fully possible. Would really love to know how it is done though.
