1241  Economy / Marketplace / Re: List of stuff you can use bitcoin for. on: March 14, 2018, 10:07:08 AM
Thanks man for this. While some major companies are still contemplating the implementation of bitcoin as part of their payment system, some minor companies are taking charges. Hopefully, this might make them to change decisions cause I would really love to purchase items from my favorites online shops directly. OP, is there a site where I can pay for VPN, preferably Express VPN?
1242  Other / Serious discussion / Stephen Hawkings is gone on: March 14, 2018, 09:11:56 AM
If you haven't heard; Stephen Hawkings is dead.
Well, this is not a usually post of bitcoin discussion but I felt he deserve a tribute from we bitcoin lovers and scientist in this forum. Though, he might not have contributed much
to bitcoin but he developed new software within the bitcoin and crypto trading market (algorithm called hawkcode) with the potential to disrupt the bitcoin market. And this was in the aim for distribution of wealth among the regular people; which in my opinion is fair.
For more info; https://medium.com/@OnBRM/stephen-hawking-has-developed-new-software-with-the-potential-to-disrupt-the-bitcoin-markets-f7715f9c26c
Well, we lost a legend. Show your respect and informations on anyway he has supported bitcoin or not.
 My favorite quote from him;

Note; To the moderators,  I don't know if this is the right section to post this. Feel free to move it.

1244  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do people use bad exchanges like YoBIt? on: March 13, 2018, 03:52:42 PM
OP, it is a trick called "priming the pot". The scammers behind an exchange trade with each other or hire market makers to make the appearance that some activity is going on, encouraging all of us to make a deposit and trade there.

If you are tired of bad exchanges maybe it is time to start using this,

Decentralized trading? Use BISQ. https://bisq.network/

Exactly. Apart the avalibility of some listed coins; this was actually my initial thought too. Those scammer who scam people from bad exchanges knows themselves and do their trading in groups. Don't be surprised if it later verified that it one person opening different accounts to trade to him/herself. Though, I still hear few good review about Yobit but I don't think most people can trust it again.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are you mining for profit today or the future? on: March 13, 2018, 02:14:53 PM
It seems at least to me in a bear market its better to mine coins you believe will go up and mine for daily profit in a bull run.
What do you think?
Of course, no one goes around throwing and lossing capital on a bad investment; you need to mine on coins that you believe will make impact in the future and will also moon when it time comes. In the aspect of mining for daily profit; this totally depends on your choice. You can either choose to keep or trade them. If you feel too confused, then you simply trade some and keep some. Just to aviod regrets and be on a safer side
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know project scam or not? on: March 13, 2018, 12:11:54 PM
Hello, i am newbie and want to know how i could check projects if they are good or bad, is there ways to know about that?
The bitter truth is for you to get ready to be scammed for a couple of times before you're lucky to find the good one. But if you are lucky you will scale through. Previously, its just about making research on the developers, reading the whitepaper and getting a review about them but now, it may not work smoothly as usually. Though all the above still matters; after your research, if your gut still tells you to invest, then go for it.
1247  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN PRICE IN 2050 - ACCORDING TO VITALIK BUTERIN! on: March 12, 2018, 11:07:09 PM
Here we go with another prediction  Undecided seriously, I don't know if I am the only one but I am seriously getting tried of one influencer investors quoting a long note why the price of bitcoin will be this or that in a supposed year. Though, this guy is realistic, cause its possible for bitcoin to see that price in 2050. From now till then, a lot of things might have happened, let's just wait till then to testify.

1249  Economy / Economics / Re: How much of Bitcoin is FOMO {Fear of missing out} on: March 12, 2018, 07:51:55 PM
In some extent, the guy is right. In as much as a lot of people whom have invested in bitcoin is driven by their urge to be a part of what tomorrow will be, there are also some driven by FOMO. The instant bitcoin crossed $2k and above last year, many people feared that might miss out it the investment. That is why we have a lot of investors whom are in it because of the money and not because of it impact on future technology.
1250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in five years! on: March 12, 2018, 06:53:27 PM
I doubt it when he used the word 'all'. In as much as we predicts and wish that cryptocurrency will be widely used, there are still some companies which will still be reluctant to accommodate it. Nevertheless, this will not stop cryptocurrency especially bitcoin from been the most valued asset in years to come. It value and price will be so high that no rejection from anywhere can stop it.
1251  Economy / Exchanges / Re: WHat’s the issue with binance days ago??? on: March 11, 2018, 09:20:34 PM
But didn’t the hackers succeed in withdrawal little amount ?

How about the owners of the Binance accounts that were impacted by the hackers?

Cuz the hackers bought a «  coin » with a pair, so the owner of the binance account lost all even the hackers couldn’t do the withdrawal as the coin bought worth less?
No, the hackers didn't succeed in withdrawing in any coins, but instead they lost their coins at the process. And since no users coins was lost at the process, the owners of the accounts that caused the whole issue obviously did not loss anything either and probably they might disable the account to prevent any issues;  we dont know. Like stated above, one has to be very careful and double check the URL you visit.
1252  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason behind the current crash? on: March 11, 2018, 07:26:21 PM
Today the price of bitcoin crashed again $1000 and it is currently valued under $9000,and still falling so can you explain me what is the reasons behind it.I don't think BInance hack rumors is the reason because ceo of binance already told that all funds are safe. Then what causes this price fall?
The rumors of the hack of Binance trading not has nothing to do with the recent dips. Most people even refer to the MTGox trustee selling of about 40,000 worth of bitcoin as the cause but the truth remains that the market price of bitcoin is unpredictable and anything could have caused the dumps. You don't blame we human, most times we prefer to hold something as the cause of an event.
1253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Worst bounty manager? on: March 11, 2018, 05:54:12 PM
Some bounty manager as well as some signature campaign manager can be proud, abusive and sassy sometimes cause its in human nature to be these but 'hate' is really a strong word. As human, we should learn to tolerate. If you encounter a signature or bounty manager who treats you unfair, all you have to do is too ignore them and leave the campaign. They will one day be caught in their own net.
1254  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ❗ Beware of scam related to Binance CEO impersonation ❗ on: March 11, 2018, 02:36:00 PM
Anyone falling into this type of scam is a fool; sorry for the bad language but it is still the truth. How on earth will Changpeng Zhao give out free coins and ask for coins in return. What a perfer planned out scam; just after the rumored attack on Binance. I didn't know that Binance does charity  Roll Eyes There is NO free money in this world, its painful but its high time people start getting used to it.
1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Question on: March 11, 2018, 09:06:19 AM
No matter how you try to prove yourself worthy by showing proves, people will still not trust or paint you red because most times you may not meet their expectations. If you're truly good with the gambling. I don't see why you would want people to put in their own. In my own opinion; I suggest you should keep playing as you usually do. At least, there won't be a need to explain your loss to anyone if it ever happen.
1256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your most reliable crypto source? on: March 10, 2018, 11:57:28 PM
I use a lot of social media and bitcointalk of course, but where do you get the most up to date crypto news?
Though social media news is good but sometimes its advisable to always get news from a liable source cause some news in the the social media are most times speculations and most times causes FUD. Same goes with the Media though some of them are reliable. The forum is a good place but sometimes there are just a personal viewes. My advice, get all news from different source but filter the one you stick to.
1257  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable? on: March 10, 2018, 11:53:41 PM
Certainly yes, because I believe that there is a lot of potentiality that are yet to be discovered with bitcoin. Though its most times tempting to want to see the price of bitcoin increasing to get the most gain out of it as every business would do but its like underestimating the value of bitcoin. Moreover, I also believe that if bitcoin value or potentiality grows; the price will top up inevitable.
1258  Economy / Speculation / Re: I believe the dumps are over on: March 10, 2018, 02:02:40 PM
I don't think so, the dumps aren't over yet. Yes, a lot of bitcoin enthusiasts are surely mad at the MTGox trustee for selling off 40,000 BTCs which a lot of us believe that caused the dumps we have been experienced recently but I believe we will still see more dumps in the coming months because MTGox ain't done yet. They still have about $1.7 billion worth of BTCs which might be sold too, so expect more dumps.
1259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you stomach the dips? on: March 09, 2018, 05:46:31 PM
Though some people do this, according to them, there are few gains in it and it prevents them from loss. But I seriously don't think it worth it and neither is it a right decision to make. When I started out dealing with cryptocurrency, I previously make the mistake of selling and I must confess, I loss quite a lot. I wish I could turn back then hand of clock, I would have steadfastly hold my coins.
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New ICOs and how to choose a proper one? on: March 09, 2018, 02:56:31 PM
Nowadays, its really difficult to know a good ICO cause lately because scammers are using this means to dupe a lot of people. Normally, the usually good ways to know is to make research about the developers, check them out on LinkedIn, read their whitepapers and see if the project interests you. But now, I suggest you should just go to coinmarketcap and choose the cheap top coins there to invest.
