283  Economy / Speculation / Re: $100 coming next week on: December 07, 2013, 02:49:47 AM
Bitcoins are going to stabilize in the double digits. It was $13 in January, anything $20-$50 is a good price for a 100%-500% increase. You can't expect huge gains like this to be sustainable.

In reality $5 would be a good price based on current utility as a currency. Might shake out all the speculators at least.

are you EM's alter ego? who pays you to post on here?
284  Economy / Speculation / Re: $100 coming next week on: December 07, 2013, 02:48:34 AM
It will happen. Concern is quickly going to turn into panic.

how many bitcoins do you wish to bet? (escrowed)
285  Economy / Speculation / buy high, sell low - the proven strategy that guarantees negative returns on: December 07, 2013, 02:16:39 AM
more of a reminder that if anyone bought at a higher price that they will be selling it at - you should think about it a bit more.
nothing guarantees you a loss like a real, realized loss.

nothing has changed in the last week. the china news isn't bad no matter how you spin it. since nothing has changed keep in mind that most people who panic and sell at a loss later buy it back (after already taking a loss). if you are new then hopefully you thought about what you were doing when you bought in. think some more about realizing a loss.

it's happened many times. the results are always the same. most people who utilize the buy high sell low strategy aren't usually happy with their results.

a friendly reminder.
286  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cheap coins this weekend dip on: December 06, 2013, 09:22:28 PM
"This time is different!"

No, it's not. Gavin once predicted there would be 5 bubbles. This is bubble #3 of 5.

Each bubble will go up slower and pop less dramatically than the last, until at bubble #6 it will be just regular fluctuation, and Bitcoin will be a mainstream currency. This isn't bubble #6 yet. Patience.

Next week will commence the long, slow slide characteristic of any overinflated Bitcoin bubble.

didnt know gavin predicted that. he is a v smart guy im sure he's onto something

didn't know that gavin is an oracle Cheesy
287  Economy / Speculation / Re: This time it's going BELOW 400 on: December 06, 2013, 09:21:41 PM

290  Economy / Securities / Re: [CryptoStocks] Questions to KUMALA regarding delisting of LABCOIN on: December 01, 2013, 05:55:25 PM
Also,  why did you let them steal the dividend from shareholders when it was 100% certain they were a scam
291  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's 'limted' supply lie on: November 30, 2013, 08:08:47 AM

292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reality Check on: November 29, 2013, 07:06:05 AM
10 billion market cap is nothing. get rid of gold's insane store of "intristic value" and move that aspect to bitcoins and each bitcoin is worth $500,000. i'll let you think a bit more about that
293  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What to spend 1.5k on on: November 28, 2013, 09:23:06 PM
I was going to buy 4 100ghs from black arrow but I can see that you need to buy a minimum of 10 so that's a bit to much, anyone have any other ideas? All I can think of is cointerra and they are to much and bfl have a massive back log on new stuff and the 300gh miner is over priced

buy a litecoin mining rig - easy for 1.5k and convert ltc to btc you will get much more btc than mining it directly for time being. hope that helps you make a decision

Because he made a killing flipping shares in addition to everything else.

I used to bring this point up many many times. I calculated that they were very predictable waiting out on expected news causing huge drops in share value and then a peak right after the news. They did this many times, waiting so long they were able to force the price down. I came to the conclusion they needn't use many Bitcoins to pull it off either because the wait time was enough.

At the time I declared this an ongoing issue I was written off as a FUDster and almost all my ignores come from Labcoin shareholders.

In fact now this is confirmed as a scam can some of you guys that held on please un-ignore me? Cheers.

there always needs to be people keeping others in check. i had my doubts but i tried to remain calm and optimistic. that didn't pay off at all
296  Economy / Securities / Re: [CRYPTOSTOCKS] Labcoin Official Thread - Self-Moderated on: November 28, 2013, 08:48:09 PM

LOL Sammy.  It's $7,000,000 of other people's money, son.  You're not going to move it around without every step of it being tracked.

Lips sealed

Take a look at Labcoin's CS wallet and follow one of the recent inputs/outputs:

https://blockchain.info/address/17psAW21J4twanAFWmbcd5WdX2pKeX3trm

why the fuck didn't CS lock that address down so he couldn't withdraw!! this opens them up to many legal liabilities and lawsuits. they made a big error
297  Economy / Securities / Re: [Mpex.co] The biggest scam in bitcoin history? on: November 28, 2013, 05:28:25 PM

299  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: November 28, 2013, 05:25:41 AM
OFFICIAL ASICMINER UPDATE

In an effort to take ASICMINER to the next level as a business, the board met today to discuss ways we can provide better service to our customers and better communication to our shareholders. Below you will find some updates of what's been going on behind the scenes.

LTC ASIC
ASICMINER determined LTC ASIC is not viable since a high-speed memory bus is much more useful in other industries and very expensive to make in this regard.

With huge increse in price of LTC I think the board must discuss LTC ASIC again. These is a whole new market and worth a lot.

Potentially worth a lot. Potentially worth very little. Remember, in the real world, BTC has incredible traction and increasing utility. LTC ..... next to none. Not saying its not worth looking at, but since AM already turned it down because of the way litecoins are mined, I doubt he's going to do a U-turn

money is money. asicminer can autocovert litecoins to bitoins as well as just taking bitcoins. this CAN be a viable business as well and they can be one of the FIRST to market.
