i'm lost. how trustworthy is this project

Use Google and your common sense by looking for what the founders did in the past. Why would you trust someone here to tell you if this project is trustworthy?

and why does their website kind of suck as of the moment.
anyone who can clue me in on  actual current situation

They don't have a website (ASICMINER, the other ASIC-based mining operation doesn't have one either). What you refer to may be the exchange on which shares of 100TH can be traded.
If you care about bells and whistles to establish trust, you are in for a severe disappointment. For example several nicer-looking websites have been hacked and lost the assets of their users in the past.

sure, but.... marhsall islands!?
i assume there's been stuff that's been happening where someone can update on the current situation. i'm not expecting a great site but there's a big difference between a site a 13 year old makes and one that someone making asics should commission (some degree of professionalism can't hurt)

1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [StableCoin] About Ripple on: May 09, 2013, 09:27:44 PM
it's centralized and closed source . so it's very different from bitcoins and inherently there is more risk
also, the owners have 20% of the xrp.
while there are many pros there are many cons as well

1292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predictions for the next bubble on: May 09, 2013, 05:12:58 PM
You are confusing the genius and highly successful bitcoin cryptocurrency design with the obnoxious anarcho-libertard crowd that pushes the current chain as an investment and get rich quick scheme. I will continue to inhabit these forums because I'm a crypto and economics geek, and simply ignore the fools.

As for "investing", I rode the bubble on it's upside, then shorted like a boss from 150 down. And I'm gonna keep shorting until  the price hits 2-3x it's winter value. Now that's what I call a profitable bubble !

every single "bear" rode the bubble up and shorted at the correct time. it's amazing at how they all get the timing perfectly right

Half the people on ebay are stupid buyers re btc, or fake buy. Gl getting anyone to pay that much. I would think theyd prefer getting asic miner shares instead
1297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculate where the price will be headed when gox comes back on: May 09, 2013, 09:14:34 AM
btc-e trollbox says Gox is down to install LTC trading...

that's what the trolls say who want to have their ltc go up in value on bs news
btc-e carries all coins including soon to be GarbageCoin
so they really need a large exchange to carry them
1298  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predictions for the next bubble on: May 09, 2013, 08:47:59 AM
Never. The bitcoin experiment has ran it's course and will be replaced by better, more scalable, more stable, faster cryptocurrencies. Those left holding bitcoins into 2015 waiting for the next bubble will be the last suckers standing.

yes, you are correct. you should move unto a different board since you are obviously done with bitcoins
1299  Economy / Auctions / Re: [2 days]: [100 direct ASICMINER shares] on: May 09, 2013, 08:37:40 AM
i'll pay more than his original bid. just 5 shares though
1300  Economy / Auctions / Re: [2 days]: [100 direct ASICMINER shares] on: May 09, 2013, 08:24:14 AM
Phr33 I bid for those shares - I would like the opportunity to purchase them. You did says so yourself in the auction post that I'd pick up more shares if some were to desist.

i'll take 5 of them and the rest to pierrejo Smiley
