1141  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-07-08 WSJ (MoneyBeat Blog) - Are Litecoins the next big thing? on: July 09, 2013, 12:00:07 AM
The paradox is.that litecoins are being used to invest into bitcoins

Just taking advantage of arbitrage when I believe it exists!

makes no sense since litecoins are theoretically more undervalued
1142  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open on: July 08, 2013, 11:46:15 PM

1143  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open on: July 08, 2013, 10:49:03 PM
i'd like to buy 4-5 more of the 25 ghash kits.  Can pay CC (ALL) or wire (some).  Can pay right now, today.
I was hoping you'd PM me back Smiley
Hmmm.. I swear I PM'd you, but maybe I got partway through and got interrupted... sorry.

I'll write you back soon.

Dave

are we still able to order more over inventory?

1145  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [3] countdown! on: July 08, 2013, 10:39:05 AM
Seems Avalon batch#2 shipment is almost done.
Waiting for batch#3 start to ship.

Oh great, you are going to start posting here too you did not get tracking yet? ;-)
Don't you think they should start to deliver batch#3 machines as soon as possible as the total hashrate is already over 200THash?!

they should start giving out partial refunds and apologizing as well.

1147  Economy / Securities / Re: Vircurex may 2013 report, is this a joke Kumala ? on: July 08, 2013, 10:06:02 AM
goodbye vircurex.. this sucks.. seems like mtgox with all their problems is one of the only ones who can lead. the level of incompetence is high.

1149  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 0.25 BTC Bounty - Show me a Mt Gox USD Withdrawal :) on: July 07, 2013, 08:12:05 PM
raise the bounty to 1 btc and put it in escrow

For a screenshot huh?
exactly as the person said- only covers the wire cost. 1 btc makes a withdraw worth it. i'm also pretty sure the OP will not pay even if he receives his screenshot hence - escrow

1151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $10m worth of BTC to float on market by Winklevoss bros (of Facebook fame) on: July 07, 2013, 09:49:16 AM
$1,000, $10,000 will never be off the cards.

$200 was once unthinkable, well, to me Cheesy

Just buy, buy, buy and HOLD like a Spartan.

Bitcoin will never have any real value if everybody "holds like a Spartan". You should use it.

you mean just how people hold empty plots of land in the center of cities and watch it appreciate in value? those bastards

1153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning to Litecoin investors on: July 06, 2013, 06:01:50 PM
i was skeptical too, one has to realize that running a script for a bitcoin wallet and adding a litecoin one only takes an extra what? 10 minutes to set up. it is actually good to have two or more competing ones
if people can figure out bitcoin they can figure out litecoin just as fast

ltc going up on july 10th

1158  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMC]-The Official Active Mining Cooperative Discussion on: July 06, 2013, 12:00:39 AM
I'm not hot on the abbreviation being the same. I think if you really believe in yourself, be you a company or whatever, you don't have to piggyback on the success of others. Do your own thing and let the people come to you for your own merits.

But hey, its a minor thing I think in the overall scheme of things.

I see where you're coming from, but this is business. Let's not forget the scale of our ambition here, which is to build the biggest bitcoin mining farm on the planet.

So, I say, 'ASICMiner, lock and load. We're coming for your coins!'

L-O_L , you made me laugh hard

btw, have fun guys trying to sort out "amc" vmc" and other useless crap created by ken to no benefit for investors
1159  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low is it going to go? $25, $15, $5, $2? on: July 05, 2013, 11:51:11 PM
i will save you all the pain of waiting for your btc to be worthless - buying @ $2 today! get it while my offer is still available
1160  Economy / Speculation / Re: split the sentiment on different exchanges on: July 05, 2013, 06:22:37 PM
you can't arbitrage unless you have money on both the exchanges in tandem.

you can move btc between the exchanges but cash is impossible. now if ltc come to gox and the other big exchanges..........
as of today though i don't think many people have cash sitting at all the exchanges. could be wrong though

and all it really has to do is change sentiment and expectations. that's the only thing that prices are even based on - nothing else at the moment
