If there are other urgent needs, maybe we have no other choice, regardless, but I think now there are no more investors or traders who sell because of panic because the market movement up and down is a common thing, so there is no reason to panic. And about selling, I think we all have a plan from the start and if we haven't met it, I don't think we should sell for any reason.
All traders and investors do have two mature plans in seeking profit through Bitcoin, because when the initial plan has gone very well when buying Bitcoin at a price they like, of course the next plan is to set a selling price with the profit target they want and that will of course vary greatly from person to person. Although investors also often take advantage of the moment of price drops to buy again even though what they previously bought has not been sold because it has not reached the price level they want. It could be but the questions could be address to those newbies in the market, as one of time during our journey in Bitcoin, we might feel nervous as we really don't know what is going on in the market, except that it keeps going down and the best thing do to that time is to sell. Nevertheless, as we mature enough, we might have different approach, we could be (a), don't really care about the price movement as we seldom check the price, or (b), very happy to see the price going down and then buy more and continue to accumulate and DCA, or worst (c) we wanted to do something and buy but we don't have the capital, in short, wrong timing for the market to dip.

Post-loss speeding is the speed at which a gambler wagers again after losing in gambling. Different studies confirm that gamblers who lost their game start a new game 20% faster than when they won. The player's goals cause this before starting a gambling session. The more a player fails to achieve his goals, the more he loses profusely. Players whose goals revolve around hitting the jackpot would begin a new round faster, believing it'll fetch them the jackpot. Hence, gamblers need to be cautious with the goals they want to achieve with gambling. If not, they'll have a difficult time controlling Post-loss speeding. Do you experience post-loss speeding when winning or losing? read more: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-8357859/People-likely-gamble-losing-study-finds.htmlI think at some point in our gambling's history, we might have second deposited in less than 20% faster because it's either (a), we can't take that lost very quickly, and (b) we have some extra money to boot and so we deposited right away or (c), it's the greed, and the feeling that you wanted that adrenaline rush again and again. And so I would say yes, although as I have matured already, once I lost my initial capital, there will be like inner voices inside of me and telling me to deposit again, but on the other hand, my mind says to step. And most of the time, I will just literally take a walk and just think of others to pre-occupy my mind instead of pushing myself to make a second deposit and most likely lose again.

Another day of Olympics is going to end soon. There was many memorable moments again. In men 1500m we have big suprise - Jakob Ingebrigtsen ended without medal as he was just 4th. Cole Hocker took gold with new Olympic Record. In Women 200m USA took one more Gold, Gabrielle Thomas won race. Julien Alfred got silver, winning 2nd medal in whole Saint Lucia history. In women football big suprise is approaching. Brazil is leading against Spain 2:0 with about 30 minutes remaining. It's unexpected, Spain recently is biggest force in women football. In other semifinal USA got ticket to the final after scoring their only goal in extra time.
So Gabrielle Thomas won the 200m for the US, I guess it's payback for Alfred beating her compatriot Richardson in the 100m. I really thought that Richardson is going to win but she just placed 2nd, thus a silver medal. Gabby Thomas if I'm not mistaken, has been the fastest women before finals in the 200 m, so I'm not surprised by her and Alfred getting the silver. I think it's just rewarding to see Thomas winning here and there are statistics that she started very slow, but and then Alfred trying to make some grounds but since this is Thomas specially, it's going hard to defeat there. Congrats to Philippines as we for winning a another bronze medal in boxing. They already collected 2 golds, so far the biggest haul for them and amongst the top country in Southeast Asia in terms of gold so far.
Unfortunately, they've lost another boxer and so they settled for 2 golds and 2 bronzes (for their boxers). So still they are the top Sea countries in the medal standings but you can see that all Sea countries are supporters of their neighbors are per their tweets and it's good to see that amongst Sea nations.

^^ It's really hard to bet on this fight if we will see such kind of odds, and I do agree that as it TJ is going to lose here. But who can't blame the sports bookies for making Inoue a big favorite entering this fight?
Although he had taste canvass against Neri, still though he put on a show and knock him out for good. And in his last 4-5 fight, all of them are in knockout so the trend might continue here against TJ Doheny and it's going to look ugly for TJ tasting the canvass in maybe 6 rounds or less.
I actually much more interested in Inoue fight with Akhmadaliev, but in reality Inoue turned it down and chose TJ Doheny as his opponent in September. For this fight between Inoue vs TJ Doheny, it is clear that Inoue has greater advantage and of course this is very easy fight for Inoue to win. I think Inoue will be able to finish it like some of his other fights where it is KO victory for Inoue and he still maintains his title and record. Yes, it's just to bad that Inoue has passed on Akhmadaliev, perhaps there was no incentive for Inoue as Akhmadaliev doesn't have the belt anymore. On the other hand Doheny, is a boxer that is popular in Japan, as he has been campaigning there and has like 3 or 4 fights already and so Japanese fans are familiar to him. In the betting options we all see that Inoue is really the favorite, but it makes sense considering that TJ Doheny is also not boxer who looks equal to Inoue abilities. I won't take it, but maybe I will see how this fight goes because Inoue will definitely get KO victory for the umpteenth time.
There is no doubt that the opening line favors Inoue, and I guess we can't just deny it. He has clean up the division already except for Akhmadaliev. And as reported this could be his last fight in this division and then moving to a weight class that is more challenging to him.

A fight with Canelo Alvarez is what Crawford wants as it is a big money fight and i think Canelo won't hesitate to take the bait after Crawford's not so impressive win against Madrimov. Crawford struggled in the 154-lbs division, how much more in the 168-lbs category? With all due respect to Crawford, this would be another easy win for Canelo and there might be a chance that Crawford will kiss the canvass as he the smaller fighter here.
Crawford is about to turn 37. At this age his body might be at the limit of what it can handle. In order to have a real chance of beating Canelo, he needs to settle in at 154 and then gradually work his way up to super middleweight. Unfortunately, time is not on his side. He should forget about Canelo entirely and focus on the other champions or on fights in his weight where he can earn lots of money. Boots, Vergil Ortiz, and Spence are all potential opponents that would make for interesting bouts in the future. Yep, probably this is the first sign that Crawford is going to slow down or slowing down as he has age already. And good call not to push himself not to fight Canelo. And I do not think that it will be on his calendar to fight him. There are a lot of names at 154 lbs, Ortiz, Tim Tsyzu or even Charlo. Any on the Charlo's will be a good fight for Crawford as this is going to be money fight. Or the next thing he can do is to try to unified that division, another record for him. Or go down to 147 lbs and shut the mouth of Boots Ennis. But for sure time is running out for him and there could be limited options as he can't turn back the hands of time.

The greatest tennis player in history Novak Djokovic completed the only missing piece in his career. He became the oldest player to reach a final at the age of 37 and win the Olympic gold medal. This performance against the 21-year-old Alcaraz, who will perhaps dominate the new era, is really impressive. I'm very happy for Novak. As tennis fans we are lucky to be the generation that can watch him live.
In this era, we have witnessed lots of great sportsmen and women that have dominated the various sports that they are involved in, and we that are alive to witness their careers made are really fortunate because the story will be told about them long into the future, and to us, it will not just be a story, but a period and season that we experienced. Congratulations to Novak Djokovic, it would have been a sad thing had he not won. To Alcaraz, the future remains bright for him. Right, Djokovic has cemented his legacy with a big win against a young Carlos Alcaraz. He has complicated the golden slam. And this match is a good one, the oldest vs the youngest and we can say that experience is still the king here. However, I would say that this could be Djokovic's last Olympics as he would be 40+ in the next four years. And with that, I think Alcaraz has a great chance in the next, not this time though, as this is Djokovic's time to shine.

I have to give respect to Madrimov for going through the full 12 rounds he was leading through the championship rounds, I share Hearns opinion that there was a discrepancy in the way one judge scored the fight; seriously, 116–112 did not reflect what happened, I scored the fight for Crawford winning by one round. Anyway, Crawford now has 4 world titles, but his performance is not enough to convince experts that he can beat Canelo.
I had Crawford winning specially in the championship rounds, which I think he really put everything and try to score and take that fight. We have seen Madrimov face, and this is due to the jabs of Bud. But yes, he should give respect for Madrimov as no one see that he can last the full 12 rounds against one of the pound for pound fighter that we have right now. And I do agree that in this fight at 154 lbs, first time that we have seen Crawford not dominating his opponents and so he should not go and move up two divisions to fight Canelo Alvarez. I'm seeing that he is going to struggle with Canelo's power. And maybe we might be seeing the start of the decline of Crawford because he is not getting any younger as well.

The advice is so simple that almost everyone takes it carelessly and forgets. Gambling is fun and entertaining, but since most of us forget this simple advice, it becomes a source of stress (financial, physical, and mental) and guilt. I am going to reiterate the golden rule: 'Do not risk what you cannot afford to lose.' Believe me, this simple advice can transform your overall perspective toward gambling, and you will enjoy it much more. This simple advice needs some training and conditioning. Just use it sincerely in your next couple of gambling sessions, and you will never be the same miserable, guilt-ridden person again. Though there will be an instant urge to deposit double after you lose your intended money, perhaps you can remember this post and go for a walk, exercise, watch a movie, prepare food, etc. You will definitely feel much better.
Edit: This topic is oriented towards amateur gamblers (not for professionals gambling for living).
Yes, it's obvious that is is one of the most important adage in gambling, and for sure we have this in our mind when we play and gamble. But most of the time we totally forget about this philosophy and we are carried to deposit for more and continue to play. Our emotions played with us so it's very difficult to control it. With that, maybe you have developed it through years or experienced on how to fight it. Last night I have this urge, I have deposited twice already and lost, and so I was battling with my inner self to deposit for the third time and try to recoup my losses. However, difficult as it may sound, I just used to pass the time and walk around and watch youtube to calm me down until I fall asleep.

There is a lot of money to be made from this fight and Berlanga knows this. He's probably going to be rich after the fight. However, since I know he has struggled to beat his opponents in the past, Ifeel that if Canelo takes this fight seriously, it’ll be over in the first round. Personally, I am not enthusiastic about this match because of Canelo attitude towards David Benavidez. I think he is afraid of Benevidez. I am in doubt that this fight is going to have any impact because of the UFC event at that is happening at that time. Either he's saving Benevidez for the last part of his career because he knows it's a hard fight, or he's simply not ever going to fight him.
This will be his biggest pay check I reckon, Canelo remains the cash cow in boxing, despite his recent decline and so fighters are really looking to fight him and win a sweepstakes, just like the time of Manny Pacquaio. Nah, I doubt that even if he takes the fight seriously he will win by first round knockout. This is a heavier weight so it's very hard to knockout something bigger unless you have the power. Canelo hasn't knockout opponents in years if I remember it right, most of his wins in the latter stage of his career are all in the scorecards. After his lost to Bivol, he become very cautious and not going for a knockout. Although I will say that he takes all his fight seriously. Sure, it's a big payday for an unknown boxer like Berlanga, so he should also consider this as an opportunity to become popular by beating Canelo in this fight. Unfortunately, despite his undefeated record, many believe this is just a mismatch, as we can confirm from the betting odds of the fight. Canelo really is a cash cow; that's why he isn't worried about whom he fights because the money is already guaranteed as long as he is in the ring against anyone. I would not say that Berlanga is outcome, he is ranked amongst in the four governing bodies of boxing. So he is a rising star and the plot is that him and Munguia as in the collision course to fight first and then the winner potential getting their payday against Canelo. But it just so happened that they have already past Canelo, so the buildup to that hype has stop for a while and maybe we can say that they are very luck at their early age (both are less than 30 years old), that they have face the cash cow and then they have a guaranteed money in the line and most likely it will be in millions.

It's fight week already and the WBA champion, Israil Madrimov is not backing down to the challenge of being the first to beat Terrence Crawford. Madrimov not just wanted to beat Crawford but he wants to win in style. Terrence Crawford of course is expecting another achievement on his already legendary career by becoming a 4 division world champion after fight night.
And if we look at the betting lines, the over and under is 10.5. And the odds are very appealing already as it is above 1.8x. It's just a matter on how we see Crawford winning this fight. Will he go early and try to force himself and look for the knockout right away? Or uses his technical abilities with his jabs and feints and set traps? We all know how intelligent Crawford is, he wouldn't be this great if he don't know how to uses his abilities. And yeah, another belt for him and it will make him a 4x world champion, from lightweight to welterweight, including the undisputed championship at light welterweight and welterweight. I'm sure he will be very patient and size up his opponents until he figures out the right time to knock them out. Terrence Crawford is one of the most patient boxers I've seen; he is not in a hurry and will give enough time to figure you out, but when he does, he will lay a perfect execution to beat his opponent. Not only patience, but he shows that he can recover and then knock out his opponent. Against Kavaliauskas, early in the fight, I thought that he will lost his belt as he is being dominated. But he came back and then knock the hell out of Kavaliauskas in round 9th. That's exactly what he did against Spence; he had matured to be a highly technical boxer, which is why I like him to face Canelo, so we'll know who is the best technician. This early, I would like to congratulate Terrence. He will be a four-division champion and is still getting better.
Yeah, who wouldn't like him to face Canelo Alvarez, but there could be size difference though. I think Canelo will be too big for Crawford at 168 lbs. But let's see at 154 lbs or even at 160 lbs, I think Crawford can still bring his power to that weight. But it could be different for him at 168 lbs.

In other news, here are the Ring Magazine's pound for pound list: 1️⃣🇺🇦 Oleksandr Usyk 2️⃣🇯🇵 Naoya Inoue 3️⃣🇺🇸 Terence Crawford 4️⃣🇲🇽 Canelo Alvarez 5️⃣🇺🇸 Jesse 'Bam' Rodriguez 6️⃣🇷🇺 Artur Beterbiev 7️⃣🇷🇺 Dmitry Bivol 8️⃣🇺🇸 Gervonta Davis 9️⃣🇯🇵 Junto Nakatani 🔟🇺🇸 Devin Haney https://x.com/MichaelBensonn/status/1818487108061085860Do you agree on the list? Spence was out, then Haney getting in the list as rank 10th. Jesse Bam Rodriguez has already surpassed Tank Davis at only 24 years old. It is very impressive what he has accomplished in his young career. Canelo still being in the top 5 is a bit generous. Canelo peaked when he became undisputed champion against Plant in 2021. Since then, it’s been a loss to Bivol and cherry picked opponents like Ryder, Charlo and a very old GGG. He gets credit for his accomplishments in the past, but he cannot live off that forever. I consider Bivol and Beterbiev to be better fighters at this moment but due to inactivity we have not seen their full potential. I guess they still given preferential treatment to Canelo as this point in time. He had decline already and as you have said, cherry picking his fight after his lost to Bivol. I like Bam Rodriguez and it seems to be that his could be the one to break the monopoly of Japanese fighters in the lower rank right now. As for Haney, yes, he could not be in the top 10. But it seems that we have the weakest of the champions right now, they don't even include 140 lbs like Teo Lopez or even Pitbull Cruz to represent that weight class. Canelo is more for the money, he's taking his time knowing that he's no longer on his prime so cherry picking his next opponents just to secure decent profits, though he still got that fame especialy from those who organize this kind of listing, but in terms of capabilities he might lose if he will take the challenge from a fighter who can compete the he did, after that fight against Bivol when he see that his tactics is no longer effective he just quitely observing and waiting for good offer with secure benefits. Yes, that is very clear since he lost to Bivol, he should have lost to GGG though. But now since Canelo is getting old, for sure his adviser is telling him to carefully select an opponent that will not be a treat or very easy fight. Now fighting Berlanga next this September and most like he will be getting the bigger purse split again. No denying though that even if Canelo is declining, still other boxer sees him as the cash cow and so they are willing to fight even if the purse split favors Canelo. After all if they upset him, it will be a good stepping stone for them just like what Bivol is right now. And talking about Canelo, David Morrell, will also be moving up at 175 lbs to face Radivoje Kalajdzic on the pay-per-view undercard of Israil Madrimov vs. Terence Crawford. It another fighter at 168 lbs that Canelo doesn't want to fight.

End of era of another great athlete - it's last Olympics for Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, but she withdraws from 100m semifinal and it's still unclear why. What a great final in 400m mixed relay - Netherlands were just 4th before lastround, but phenomenal Femke Bol was such fast that she managed to take gold for her country. Now we are waiting for women 100m final. Qinwen Zheng won gold in tennis, leaving no chance for Donna Vekic. Very well deserved. Mean final will be played on Sunday. Men cycling road race had interesting ending. After almost 270km race leader Remco Evenepoel from Belgium got puncture with just 2km remaining. Hewasted about 20 seconds to get new bike, but his lead was such big that hestill won race with solid margin.
It's too bad Shelly-Ann withdraw in the race, Jamaica though also misses Elaine Thompson-Herah, who broke Flo Jo's record it out due to a achilles tear. I thought that Sha'Carri Richardson was the clear favorite to win. So I guess this is a sort of upset as Julien Alfred won the gold medal. And so another record has been completed, for all the Filipinos here, Carlos Yulo won the gold in gymnastics, arlos Edriel Yulo produced a spectacular performance to win the men's floor exercise final at the Paris Games on Saturday, earning Philippines their first-ever Olympic medal in gymnastics. Yulo's gold medal is also only the second-ever top prize won by the Philippines across both the Summer and Winter Games, and the first in the men's category. Weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz struck gold in Tokyo three years ago. https://www.reuters.com/sports/olympics/gymnastics-yulo-wins-historic-gold-philippines-with-floor-exercise-title-2024-08-03/

Same thoughts here. In terms of skills, I think Figueroa has a slight advantage and I think the fight are not going to last to the judges scorecards, it will be a close one but I find Vargas being a good target since his defense aren't that great.
Figueroa is the younger fighter, but Vargas could use his experience against a young WBC interim champion. This will be exciting to watch if it happens, as I am already missing some action in the featherweight division. In terms of KO percentage, Vargas is at 61% while Figueroa is at 76%, so it's really possible that Figueroa could knock out Vargas if he finds a good opening. Check the comparison record below https://box.live/fights/vargas-vs-figueroa/Yeah, Brandon is young and he might be as tall as Vargas, but I think he has more power though and he can absorb punches as he has faces crazy heavy puncher like Magsayo, Nery and Fulton and recently knockout former champion in Jessie Magdaleno. So both can be punchers, but I will also agree that Brandon is a good pick if this fight materializes in the future. But we will have to look at Inoue's performance against Doheny here, but for sure he had already the champions in his mind in the featherweight division like this two tall boxers.

Looks like Kamala Harris are getting closer to Trump's popularity as we can see on the current odds updated last august 1, 2024 2024 Presidential Candidate Odds Implied Win Probability Donald Trump -138 57.98% Kamala Harris +110 47.62% Michelle Obama +6600 1.49%
Somehow the Democrat Party and Kamala Harris forced or cooperated with Google to mislead search result for Donald Trump, to show results and links of Kamala Harris on top. While oppositely if we search Kamala Harris, Google doesn't show Donald Trump on top. It is truly miracle that Google accepted to do this for Democrat Party and Kamala Harris. It is natural to see exposure of Kamala Harris increases sharply recent weeks. Will she win the election? I don't know but recent days many people on X already debunked these misleading information and ugly manipulation too. Only people don't have reasonable brain, can trust Kamala Harris. Yeah, I'm not a US citizen, but from what I read in the news, somewhat some media are trying to manipulate and at least report the Kamala Harris is closing the gape in terms of her chances to win against Trump. I haven't put my bet yet, still enjoying the live roulette games for now.

This was certainly the headline: “Trump proposes strategic national crypto stockpile: ‘Never sell your bitcoin’” https://www.cnbc.com/2024/07/27/trump-bitcoin-conference-harris.html“The Biden-Harris administration’s repression of crypto and bitcoin is wrong and it’s very bad for our country,” Trump said. “Let me tell you if they win this election, every one of you will be gone. They will be vicious. They will be ruthless. They will do things that you wouldn’t believe.” It is no doubt that the current US administration is very hostile about cryptocurrency. They are harrassing individuals as well as the business corporations at their will. They are imposing fines in tune of billion dollars to break the financial backbone of the crypto industry. That needs to change! However the last thing I would do is to believe a politician. Is expected to win the election. But until you see some actions, there's no reason to believe him. The current US administration makes it very obvious for the bitcoin community that bitcoin is nothing but an unreliable and valueless currency in the long run, so it has no place in any financial institutions. However, with Trump, there's always a promise for a new beginning and promotion, but we all know this could be another kind of a trap. No one should trust words coming from a politician, not until he's serious enough and meant every word that he says or speaks. It's a complete contract, with the Biden administration as compare to Trump, who seems to be pro crypto now and put it on the spotlight again in this years Presidential election. So I guess the answer is why not? I mean if Trump can bring crypto closer to the biggest economy then they should be happy. We have seen reports though that Russia is trying to circumvent the sanctions that has been put by the US on them because of the war. So it's two fold, in can help bolsters country if they uses it as a national reserved. Or what Russia is doing, embracing crypto with the intent on going around the sanctions on them. Which one is the lesser evil?

@Kemarit. Agreed! My list would be Usyk, Crawford then Inoue on the 3rd slot. However, Inoue has a very good chance to become no.1 within 4 years if he chooses the correct opponents. He cannot do this by choosing opponents similar to TJ Doheny hehehe.
On Haney's loss to King Ry, officially this has become a no contest because of King Ry's alleged use of ostarine. According to uncle Dana of the UFC, Ryan will not be found guilty if it was his legal team that represented Ryan. In the interview, uncle Dana was very much certain it was from contaminated supplements.
Inoue has a clear path to become number 1, he had clean up the bantam and super bantamweight already. And if goes up to featherweight and win undisputed that will be the first time that we will see a fighter in modern belt era to do that. Crawford though will be ahead of him again at he will go and fight Madrimov and chances are very high that he will win a new belt at a new division. But going undisputed? I don't think that Crawford has enough time though, he might be looking for many fights after his win against Madrimov and no longer looking for just belts as his legacy is already cemented.

@bbc.reporter - I do agree that they should fight, Vargas as the regular champion and then Figueroa the interim belt. It's about that because Vargas has held the belt hostage for so long if I'm not mistaken. And for me he should have been stripped already since he attempted to fight and lost to O'Shaquie Foster for the Jr. Featherweight and then a draw with Nick Ball.
So it's good that the WBC mandated that fight to settle once and for all who is their champion. And then after this, maybe the winner will face Inoue next if Inoue decided to go up in weight next year and started with a banger fight either Vargas and Figueroa, who are very tall for Inoue and it might give him a good challenge.

It's really disgusting that he's allowed to fight in this year, previous Olympic he was not allowed since he failed the testosterone test. Too bad for Angela Carini, she start her debut since 2013, fighting for 108 times and she said she never got punched so bad like this one. If in the next year they still allow male to fight with female, it's better for them to mix male and female in every sports. So, women will get used to train with men and know how hard it's, at least they will know if they able to fight with men or not. Even Imane Khelif win the match, but Angela Carini win in people's heart. Male vs female in boxing? It's not going to be fair, like in this case so yeah, she should not be hit by a male simple as that. And then the damage Imane did to her, broken nose perhaps? So it's hard to fathom while the committee let Imane fight if they were not allowing him in the previous Olympics. Of course there is this equality and what rights this personality has right now, but it's not really fair to see a male with that much testosterone in his simple. Not sure who will be the next opponent, but for sure the same damage can be inflicted to her and it's doesn't sounds fair.

Damn, what an epic match between Kostyuk and Vekic, almost hours of fight and winner decided in tie-break. Vekic goes to semifinal where she will face biggest surprise of tournament Schmiedlova. In other semifinal Zheng will play with Swiatek.
Being Croatian, I lost a few years of my life watching that match, especially during the tie break. At the beginning of the 3rd set, I was sure Donna was going to lose it (I even put some money on it), but luckily, she somehow managed to win. I just hope she has enough time to recover for the tonight's match vs Schmiedlova. Isn't it dangerous though for the North Korean team to posed with their South Korean compatriots? I mean we all know what North Korean government is, and most likely with the athletes associating themselves with the other side, they could be in serious trouble when they go back to North Korean or at least their families as well as the government might think that they are going to go on the other side, just saying. If I can recall correctly, they were celebrating together during 2016 Olympic Games as well so its safe to assume nothing is gonna happen to them. Unless some of those from North decide to defect to South Korea. Yes, and If I'm not mistaken, the North and South Koreans could have been playing under one banner during the 2016 or 2020 Olympics. So it's not that surprised to see the two having a selfie in this age and hopefully the North Koreans will not take his matter seriously to their athletes. And then know the consequences of defecting to the other side, their families are going to suffer or maybe worst is death. @TopTort77 - based on observation, the host country usually won a lot of medals and maybe some of them becoming the number one. So we shouldn't be surprised that France is taking a lot of golds right now.
