1281  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: April 03, 2023, 10:18:36 AM
There is no doubt that the potential for bitcoin to continue to rise is greater than to fall, especially since the price is getting closer to $ 30k, there will be a bull run if the price can touch $ 30k, as an investor I think dividing assets into 2 forms is the best thing, for example 50% which we save it on spot exchanges for daily or weekly trading and 50% we keep it in a private wallet which we target for long term investment.

Too big to fall? but we shouldn't be that confident though, yeah, we have been in some bull run and meteoric rise since January. But still though, there are a lot of things that can happen in the next coming months.

We just have to be very careful and take advantage of any situation that comes along. If the price keeps going up, then we should hold on our precious Bitcoin. And if the price goes on a correction, then buy that dip and accumulate.
1282  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duckdice.io Fake Trustpilot Reviews on: April 03, 2023, 08:43:09 AM
Lol, Everyone knows that most of Trustpilot review is fake because it can be manipulated on services like this. I believe it’s more appropriate to file scam accusation against them if they hire you to do a paid review and received less amount as promised.

This kind of fake review is a shame. I know Duckdice is subjected to many criticism but I can’t imagine them hiring someone to do a paid review for 5$ each.  Cheesy

Can you share the screenshot of your contract before you agree on your paid review to establish case that they are hiring someone to do fake review.

Yeah, trustpilot reviews are not to be "trusted", LOL. But this is the first time that we have heard and seen proof on how it is done by certain platform and services. On any case, this could damage their reputation if indeed they still have one in this community (which I still think they still have).

Reading the replies though of someone from Duckdice, it seems that this is a distorted fact from the OP.

So it's either we believed on the one accusing here, or what has been said by Duckdice themselves.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 03, 2023, 08:30:08 AM
This is heartbreaking again the fight was canceled we all want this fight to materialize, unfortunately, unforeseen events happen I guess we will wait for the rescheduled date, this is a developing story both camps will give us updates, I hope its just an APRIL fools day joke so far checking other news there is none but we'll see

Update: checking CBS boxing I guess its an April fool's day but very late posting this  Grin

You almost got me fooled there too if I didn't read the whole post of yours.  Cheesy

I mean, after the reported canceled bout of Inoue versus Fulton, I would believe this could also happen with Davis versus Garcia. Injuries could happen in their training camps so it's a possibility.

Pay per view price is not changing so I guess it is stuck at $84.99.
This is much higher than Canelo vs Plant fight $79.99 and just lower by $5 in the Pacquiao versus Mayweather fight which is $89.99.
I don't know if viewers will find it worth the price because they made a big trend in social media. I would gladly just wait for the replay instead of paying this and just use the money for putting my bet on Davis.

It also fooled me. After looking at the image I immediately went to boxingscene.com to confirm the new hehehe.

In any case, very much similar to Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, we will never know if the price of the payperview is worth the quality of the fight. However before April 22, just knowing that Tank Davis and Ryan Garcia are willing to go in the ring vs. each other while they are strong and young is clearly worth $84.99.

Yeah, everyone was almost fooled by this report, but we all know that both are already zone in this fight so I doubt that they will just cancelled it on April 1,  Grin. That's the issue though, but if we are going to compare them in the likes of Manny and Floyd, this are two young fighters on their prime so obviously, they will gave everything on the line in this fights. Besides, it's a high stake fight and there is a possibility of earning more in a rematch if Ryan win. So for me, it's definitely a worthy fight to watch at that price range.
1284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is crazy on: April 02, 2023, 09:07:07 PM
Something crazy is going on, I was watching some price predictions of my favorite altcoins on Youtube yesterday and I was a few videos about some women that claimed that God revealed to them that a certain amount of crypto projects will bring huge amount of money to those who invest in them, are you ready for this?

Shiba inu was predicted to reach 50$ per token, this woman said God revealed this price to her, another channel which is also a lady claimed that God said Shiba inu will be the new wealth transfer for people in few years to this time.

I read some comments and I saw how many people belief in this prophecy, has anyone seen something like this before. What do you believe?

Nah, this is just a gimmick, LOL. But it someone is going to fall for this trick then it's too bad. I mean why do we need God to be involved in all of this? They can just simply says it's going to be $50 in the future? It's because they want it to be controversial and such and so they involved the name of God. So for me this is not good and could back fire on him.

As for the prophecy or prediction, just look how big the supply of Shiba and say that it's possible to cross even $25 with that billion supply?

You do the math.
1285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc get to $12k or $10k on: April 02, 2023, 08:49:49 PM
The price of bitcoin is always fluctuating so under any circumstances it can happen, today the price is around $28600 and the market since March looks promising, but we have to be careful because crashes can happen again and this is normal and an opportunity to buy more.

And speaking of fluctuation, the price is currently at $28,300 from the $28,600 that you have seen. As a experienced buyer yeah, anything goes right now, we might be seeing some semblance of a bull run, nevertheless if there is one bad news the market might turn for the worst. Nevertheless it's a perfect opportunity again to just buy when that happens.

So assuming that it will go back to $12,000 or even $10,000, then we don't need to take it very badly but instead make it positive and buy around that price and continue to accumulate long term.
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 02, 2023, 08:35:02 PM
May the best man win. I hope Astrolabio wins so it could be easier for him to unify with Donaire or any other future champions.

Astrolabio winning that match might result in Moloney hiding in embarrassment. They avoid Nonito Donaire and then choose another path but on that chosen path, they failed just because they think it was the easy opponent waiting for them.

But personally, I want to see Donaire vs Moloney in the future and the only way is by unification match if both of them will win their respective matches.

Let's see what will be the result of their respective fights.

I'm honestly hoping for that same situation where Moloney will meet his fair share and that's a loss towards another Filipino boxer, Astrolabio.

It's not totally impossible because they are choosing the safest way and probably, they will underestimate his opponent that will result into a lot of errors inside the ring. I believe that Astrolabio can upset Moloney considering that he got an unpredictable KO punch, just like what he did to his recent opponent Potapov in their battle to have the WBO Inter-Continental.

Let's see, if I'm not mistaken, this Filipino went under the radar in this division, same with Reymart Gaballo (although he lost to Nonito already). So if this two can win their title eliminator or for the vacated belt, then it's good for the Filipino fans as it's possible that they might get 2 titles in the bantamweight.

But of course all eyes is on Nonito right now, in this fight he will be the favorite to become the next champion.

And maybe later if there is time, he can deal with Moloney as he avoided Nonito but the chances are low for them to see each other in the ring because Arum doesn't want to work with Probellum.
1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: April 02, 2023, 08:21:46 PM

John Riel Casimero meeting Naoya Inoue this year is not that easy providing the supposed timeline that both boxers needs to follow.

Let's hope instead that Casimero will be able to send a strong statement at the super bantamweight thru an impressive winning in his upcoming fight. As I said before, in order for Casimero to be included in the title contender discussion, the priority is to being recognized.

Yeah, I don't expect them to fight early this year, Inoue is injured and have to postponed his fight till July. While Casimero will have his fight this May. So the timing might not be there for this 2. Unless the Japanese promoter of Casimero has some inside connection to the camp of Inoue to really push them for like a December fight.

The fans has been waiting for them to face in the ring since Casimero has become a champion when they were both campaigning at 118 lbs. But again, it might take long since they move up and there are a lot of boxers in this division too hoping to face the Monster.
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Heavyweight Boxing 1st April 2023: Joshua vs Franklin on: April 02, 2023, 01:10:30 PM
I am quite disappointed with Joshua, he was never the most talented or the best but he always found a way to win until Ruiz knocked him out. After that defeat he was never the same again even though he won on points in the rematch. When was the last last time Joshua won by KO rather than TKO? A quick search shows just 5 KOs over his 28 career fight record.

Can we all admit he simply is not good enough to be taken seriously as a world champion contender?

He is probably built through the hype, he got a win against Klitscho but it was no way the best version because he is already way past his prime but Joshua is just climbing up in the ranks. So few more fights for him and he make a good name already.

But facing a power puncher in Ruiz, Joshua was taken by surprised and from then on, he was not the same anymore.

Yes, I would agree that he is not good enough to be a world champion again. Might be good for him to fight Fury, maybe after that he can retire, just for all the British fight and that's it for him.
1289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: April 01, 2023, 09:35:03 PM
they took a long process before it happened, they really attached fans to make sure that they will earn huge amount of money.

Actually that's not what happened. The Pacman vs Mayweather fight is expected to be the top grossing fight but end up dissapointment in terms of the supposed expectations. The hype is not that big anymore when they fight as fans want to see instead the prime Pacquiao.

Yes, Floyd doesn't want to face a prime Pacquiao, when Manny was defeating this big guys, he let someone do the job for him, for softening Manny. And it really took a big tool on Manny fighting bigger guys like Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito. Because after that specially against Marquez, he was really exposed and his chin is no longer there.

But we can't compared it to the current Spence vs Crawford negotiation as on that Pacman vs Mayweather issues, Mayweather is the one being seen the main reason why it took a long time to organize his fight against Manny. Here in Spence vs Crawford, it's not just Spence that might be the only hindrance but the boxing council themselves. There are lots of parties that can be considered a problem why the talk can't be finalized.

Promoters, networks affiliations and others, but the thing is that Top Rank and Floyd was able to put that in the table and divide the it between themselves. Unlike in the Crawford vs Spence fight, it seems that it's one side, since Crawford doesn't have the manager to negotiate and PBC and Al Haymon wanted to take control of everything from the beginning.
1290  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 01, 2023, 09:09:19 PM
I voted for bullish, and yes I'm looking at around $30,000 and up this month of April. Tax returns already so this might be one good reasons for many to just invest on small or big their refund is as the banking system is collapsing right now.

Breaking $28,000 though might be a challenge, but once it is broken we can go to $30,000 and more.

That's if the individual is wise enough, but for those bitcoin enthusiast, this is no brainer. Instead of buying something from the money that they are going to get, for sure they will throw it in bitcoin and wait for the next bull run to happen and make massive gains from that investment.
1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill Based Slot Machines on: April 01, 2023, 08:51:27 PM
based from the explanation of the article, i still don't know how it really works in actuality as i have never played one yet. when it comes to crypto casinos, i don't think they have this kind of slot machine already.
and definitely, there's still house edge on this game. casinos are here for businesss, so they won't just release a game that they will be bankrupt of.
Skill-based slot machines that are mentioned in the article given by OP are not yet available in online casino platforms and are currently only available at a few land-based casinos. They are not yet that much popular nor widely accepted and are just spreading around, and if they prove to be a failure, they will probably vanish from existence too.

Haven't seen that kind of games from land base casinos too, at least in my place and it could be just in bigger casino in the US or even in Europe I reckon. But I'm interested and maybe just for the experience, I might play if I see one in our local land base casinos.

It's pretty simple, you just keep spinning like a normal slot machine and then you get a bonus round (I don't know how it happens though) where you are given a skill-based game to play and you either get extra spins or multiplier based on the points.

Yes, it's that simply almost the same with traditional base slot games, once you get the bonus then you will rely to your luck. But obviously, in skill based games, you will based it on yourself, your best effort to beat the casino machine in their own game.
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: April 01, 2023, 08:32:49 PM
^^ Perhaps if Ryan will fell in love with his one punch knockout power and it might be one reason that he could lost in this fight. He just go their and try to knockout Davis and if Tank is wise enough to circle around him and avoid his best shot and perhaps Davis has a good chin, then Ryan can't win in this fight.

So going back to this fight, Stevenson will no doubt has the advantage against his Japanese foe. I haven't seen though the split or what is the money in the table for this fight. Just interested because Yoshino hasn't travel outside of his native country and this is the first time. Maybe the money offered to him is good enough to go outside of his backyard and face one of the best rising boxers we have right now.
1293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN SUPPLY LIMIT on: April 01, 2023, 12:55:25 PM
As we all know BITCOIN mining will stop once the 21 million mark is reached. According to the information we have 19 millions coins were mined and now circulating. The remaining balance is about 2 millions to be mined. Why it is not possible to mine the remaining BITCOINS before 2140 when the 19 millions mined in just over 10 years?

I don't think that you need to wait till 2140, most likely in the next 3-4 block halvings, "almost all" bitcoin are going to be mined or at least 99% of it. And that 1% could take centuries to be mined.

So in this case, it might be difficult to get bitcoin decades from now. Supply are dwindling, but that 21 million might not be reach technically.
1294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc get to $12k or $10k on: March 31, 2023, 08:47:45 PM
Even though bitcoin looks rising this month but we have to be prepared if bad things happen, the opportunity to crash to $10k is of course easy to happen, and this has often happened when the price looks skyrocketing but when a storm comes the price can dip again.

I don’t agree with you mate. The price doesn’t crashes randomly. When there is some bad news in the crypto industry (like previously FTX news), then only the market crashes. The reason for the price fall is very simple. Hearing the bad news, people start to fear and hence they panic sell their coins for which the price goes down. But currently there is no situation like this, so definitely Bitcoins will rise only. If you are waiting for Bitcoins to fall more and then buy the coins, then I guess you might have missed the right price to buy the coin. Don’t greed for more and buy the coins at the current price.

That's the only thing that can hold off this rally, if we have black swan events like the Terra and FTX.

We even have bad news in the market when US CFTC and others went after CZ and Binance, https://decrypt.co/124961/binance-ongoing-investigations-cftc-sec-doj-irs

So the price went briefly below $28k but now it seems that we are back above that price level again. We just need to be observant and vigilant on things currently happening as their could be big news that will make the price go down hard again.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: March 31, 2023, 08:25:03 PM

There's a chance that this Japanese boxer will be successful on his campaign but in reality, it will be a tough chance and it will be like a lottery in his situation because he got more chances to fail than to succeed. I mean, I'm not here to underestimate Yoshino but as the odds and stats suggests, he almost doesn't stand a chance especially after the fact that this is a cherry-picked fight.

Nothing to argue about that as we all agree that this fight is a cherry pick for Shakur, the losing chance is slim and with how
the handler handles his career they will continue to bring hypes to his name.

Just like what I've said, it's just a lucky punch if by chance Yoshino will see that opportunity, but again that's a next to none / rare chances
when fighting a top caliber fighter.

Yes, the odds already says it, Yoshino's chances are small, the only thing that he can win this fight is for him to hit Shakur off guard and be lucky enough that it will be a knockout punch.

But then again, Shakur is a very intelligent boxer and has high IQ, he wouldn't be careless and put himself in a position wherein he will be open for that counter, whether small or big. And we all know that this fight is ready made for him to show his strength against the Japanese.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 31, 2023, 08:10:27 PM
John Riel Casimero promoter Masayuki Ito looks like he loves doing the fights in the Philippines.
Quote
Speaking with reporters this past weekend alongside the Filipino, Treasure Boxing Promotion chief and former boxer Masayuki Ito noted that all of their future plans regarding holding events in the Philippines are based on how much love Filipino fans will show to Casimero once he fights this May.
https://www.ibtimes.com/john-riel-casimeros-promoter-hopeful-more-philippines-based-events-moving-forward-3680954
This is good news for Filipino fans as we can literally watch him live if we want to. About the support that was being asked by his promoter, I don't doubt the Filipinos who do love the sport. I mean, our government should've been funding this industry more because we are really good at it instead of wasting money on sports that don't fit our heights.

Casimero will surely give out all his best attacks here and will try a knockout as fast as possible giving the fans something to cheer on again before the title fight of Nonito Donaire this Summer of 2023 against Alexandro Santiago. Maybe we will have another title holder before this year ends.

It is indeed a good news for us Filipino boxing fans because they are giving us a favor to support our fellow countryman live in his fight against Nghitumbwa, Casimero definitely need our utmost support because he is campaigning to make a close climb to the champions of this new division that he's into. It's just unfortunate that our government isn't funding to any kind of sports, even our athletes who are participating in the recent Olympics doesn't get any financial nor even moral support from the government, what more if it's about funding this industry.

Anyway, talking about Casimero, it's a good news that the fight will happen here in the Philippines, and he doesn't have to go to any foreign country to set a camp to adjust from their climate because here, he's already used by the weather and will not have any major challenges in his preparations towards this upcoming fight.
Of course, it will be good if his Filipino fans can watch him fight live in the Philippines. But I think it's better for him to be really stateside if he wants that big fight against Inoue or anyone in that division.

So all advantage is on Casimero as you have said, it will just take some training to really show his power against Nghitumbwa and make the money's worth watching their Filipino idol in the ring. It could be some pressure on his shoulder because everyone is expecting him to knockout his opponent though.

I don't think that there are pressures on his shoulder, he has been fighting all over the globe and beat the champions in their own homecourt and even marred with boxing riots because he beat their local hero.

And in this case, he might be very comfortable in the face of his country man and I think we will see a better version of Casimero, maybe more so than this fight with Akaho as this is in the Philippines and he could be menacing in this fight, IMHO. As for the support of the PH government, it's true this boxers go in their own way without any support and they will only recognized them once they have succeed like Manny who has a hero's welcome every time he comes back after a big win in the US.
1297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Volatility on: March 31, 2023, 07:46:39 PM
Bitcoin's volatility is one of its features that turns off a lot of people. When someone expresses interest in investing, the majority of financial counselors advise them to avoid doing this. Because it is one of the most volatile assets ever, I believe that is why the adage "invest only what you can afford to lose" exists.

On the contrary, I think majority loves its volatility because that's how they make some money. I'm not saying that there is manipulation by some entity to make it as volatile as they want it to be so that they can buy cheap and earn profits in short term, but that's how the game is being played now. The rules have been change already when whales enter the ecosystem.

My query is: How will Bitcoin's volatility diminish over time, or what is the single biggest element that could result in a reduction in Bitcoin's volatility?

It won't, there are traders around the world, constantly buying and selling. So the price is going to change no matter what.

And obviously, there are no central authorities who's going to call and handle it's price fluctuations.
1298  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are We Going To See $30,000 Price Before the End of This week on: March 30, 2023, 08:12:47 PM
As I have been saying in the last couple of weeks, $28,500 is the big resistance that we need to conquer, although there is a big jump in the price and even hitting it in the last 24 hours, it's not enough for the price to sustain it (again). It might be that the bulls are really pushing very hard to an eventual $30k this March or this is a bull trap, we will find out later. In any case the $30k barrier is just like 6% from the current price so by that percentage it's possible to achieved if there is one positive news that will boost the price in the last 24 hours. So it will take a lot of effort and money for the bulls to see the price at $30k. Nevertheless it could also be done in the first or second week or April. For now the price level that we should be looking at is $28,500 and sustain it.

It did touch that price if I'm not mistaken, but as you have said, it's a big resistance and it's not that time to go and maintain it because the price is way below at $28,000 and fluctuating to lows of $27,900.

So no $30,000 for us, just not enough time this March, so yes, April will be the best time frame for us to reach it. And we need another positive news, or if the banking crisis still continue and the the Fed cuts its rate, maybe next month we will go up to $30,000 after a long time. But as we can see that price, the higher the price we got, the higher it gets to increased. So maybe the top price could just be around $35,000-$40,000 at the end of the year.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Neymar Loses €1M in Casino in Just an Hour on: March 30, 2023, 07:34:21 PM
Neymar lost €1m (£900,000) in just an hour of online casino as he streamed it live on his Twitch channel. The Twitter post reads that "Crying at first, he then laughs, remembering it's just a week's pay!" I was very livid reading this and seeing screenshots of his reaction. Because it is very deceitful.

For athletes like him who earn a lot of money, yeah, this is just a lunch money for them and with that kind of emotions and reaction, it seems that he just enjoyed the game.

Imagine a gambling who may have lost thousands of dollars today reading this. Instead of feeling bad or remorseful and looking for a way to change, this may even fuel his addiction the more. Sadly, he won't remember that he is not like Neymar who earns £3.2m-per-month.

I don't think gamblers should compare themselves with sports personalities or anyone that has a lot of money to begin it. That is the wrong aspect for someone, why fuel gambling addiction is very different from each one of us.

These celebrities and public figures should be  fined for trying to glorify gambling without stating the negative aspects when it is over done.

Again just like you and me who has money to burn in gambling, it's the people who've seen them is the problem and not this public figures. Everyone knows the negative aspects of gambling, they don't need to tell that to the public.
1300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: March 30, 2023, 07:06:12 PM
This is definitely a great fight. I've been waiting for fights like this, and finally, we have one this year. Lopez could be the underdog here, so I'm going with the favorite, which I believe is Josh Taylor. Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed with Lopez's performance against Kambosos. So until he gets a win in a big fight, I'm still going against him now.

JT for the win!

This might be the best fight on schedule after the postponement of Inoue-Fulton.

I am also rooting for Josh Taylor to win here. So it seems like Teofimo Lopez was just lucky against an injured Vasyl Lomachenko and received a gift in his fight against Sandor Martin. No disrespect to Sandor Martin who became known after upsetting and sending former 4 division champion Mikey Garcia into retirement. He was clearly robbed of his victory against Teofimo and still deserved a title fight against any of the current champions. I want to see Josh Taylor end the hype of Teofimo Lopez and then proceed to 147 since already became undisputed in this division. Unless Taylor is still willing to give rematches to his previous close fights to Catterall, Ramirez, and Prograis.

Yes, and Taylor said he will go back to his old style, and maybe that's his explanation of why the fight with Catterall is close and others see that Jack won that fight. He used a new style that is not suited for him.

And against Lopez, if he can go back on the style that won him all the belts in this division, Lopez might find that this is division is going to be difficult for him, with the likes of Ramirez and Prograis still out there. So most likely in his 3rd fight here, that hype train of Lopez will end again, just like what George Kambosos did to him.
