1261  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 10, 2023, 07:36:44 AM
The position of Bitcoin in April may be different from previous months. It's already been a week of April and still Bitcoin price is hovering around 28k. I think around that if a strong resistance can form in the second week or third week maybe bitcoin will touch 30k by the end of April, although it is very difficult to guarantee its future.

It's been consolidating in this price range, around $28,000 and there are no major movement. I think the resistance is $28,500, if we can break that and then price remain steady, then we could move upward to $30,000. But so far none this month, it's very slow, but maybe in the latter part of the month, we might see a good news that will boost the price. So we will see, yeah, I know that there is no guarantee, and so we might have to take it day by day.

Or if no $30,000 in the horizon, might be some pull back, but we shouldn't be discourage, it could be a good and healthy one, even in bull run, we will see some pullback as the market needed this short period so that we can go back and refresh the market when the price goes down and everyone can buy again.
1262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: April 10, 2023, 07:15:59 AM
I think this is a bigger fight that Jack Catterall though, and maybe it's the right move for him. This fight is in the US, and hopefully Taylor should be exposed there, he is the undisputed 140 lbs and some of us forget that because he chooses to fight in the UK after unification with Ramirez. If he could just chosen a US boxer, it could be a different outcome and maybe he doesn't have to vacate some of his belts and retain them and then defend it to their mandatory. So this is a comeback fight, on the other hand Teo will have a lot of his plate at this new division.

The fight with Jack Catterall is on his hometown of Scotland, I think he just wanted to show his fans after winning all the belts. But Jack is a very difficult opponent for him, maybe as mentioned, he has a hard time making the weight at 140 lbs and it could be one factor in the fight. However, Jack really delivers one of his best performance to almost upset Josh in his hometown. It's almost back fire on him though.

But here it will be in Madison Square Garden if I'm not mistaken so Teo has the advantage because he has a lot of fans here.

So we will see the big mouth Teo here if he can back up his trash talking as he said that he will tear up Taylor more than what Jack did.

Just like what Canelo is doing in his next fight, it will be in his hometown Mexico against Ryder. However, Taylor's fight almost ruin his career as it was a close fight with Jack and as what we have been saying very controversial outcome.

Same with Lopez, against Sandor Martin, he has difficulty against the bigger Martin or the natural 140 lbs. So what's more if he is going to fight the very best of this division which is the former unified champion. Taylor though as fought in the US before so I don't see Teo even if he has the advantage of fans in MSG winning here. And Scots are also fond of their boxers and going to support and maybe some of them are going to travel in the US to see this fight.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 10, 2023, 06:51:53 AM
Yeah, I agree with the majority here, it might not even work if you think about it,

- every gambler should be responsible enough, there's no way that a government will have control over them
- casinos are business, so they might opposed this one to the T if the government will go after this kind of certificate
- for sure gamblers as well will cry over this proposal

And if ever this is implement, there will still be individuals who or can't control their gambling emotions.
1264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take good care of yourselves on: April 09, 2023, 09:48:02 PM
It's a life lesson for everyone, but I guess each one of us will have to find it the hard way.

I mean if we life a frugal life just to accumulate Bitcoin, there's nothing wrong with it. However, if there is such emergencies in our life, at least we have to take some from our stash sell and used it for that purpose.

It's just balance though, most of the time we forget it, but as we mature and age, we all know that it means, including in our bitcoin investment. So yes, spend it from time to time.
1265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chinese coins pump coming? on: April 09, 2023, 01:12:13 PM
Possible that those coins are going to be pump hard by some groups or individuals. But it's the question on how long?

So for me, if you have the money to invest then why not? as long as you know what you are doing and just be attentive on what is going on with those Chinese coins so that you can take advantage of the pump and get out with your profits.

Not going to lie though, if you think that the pump will continue to go, then you are wrong. This is going to be short but sweet and get out while you can and don't be greedy.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 09, 2023, 12:59:08 PM
Congrats as well @danherbias07, good hit on that Tapales win.

This is just one hurdle that Marlon did, he was a huge underdog, nevertheless he proved how smart he is, just outpointing Murodjon Akhmadaliev is very tough as this fight in the US. Good thing that 2 of the judges was fair, they even have the same score, so most likely it was very close but at the end Marlon did a good job.

But the biggest challenged for him will be the winner of Fulton vs Inoue. It's difficult fight, either who wins, IMHO.
1267  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2023 Bitcoin can take a position discussion. on: April 09, 2023, 12:21:31 PM
Last year 2022 Bitcoin's position or future was dire. The current price of Bitcoin is 16,532$ But on January 2, 2023, Bitcoin's position is slightly downward.  Because the Bitcoin market predicts the price of Bitcoin to hit $30k between April and May 2023.  If Bitcoin stands in this position then the price of Bitcoin will touch the highest level between September and October.

The Bitcoin market is at its peak and this is one of the biggest opportunities for us small investors.  If an investor can invest in this opportunity, he can grab millions of dollars by the end of the year.  Positions that currently hold bitcoins will no longer hold positions.  2018 to 2019 was in the current phase.  So we can never miss this great opportunity.  This is the biggest investment opportunity.

Assumptions I think the price of Bitcoin will reach its peak by the end of 2023.  Estimates can hit 100k dollars.  This is the biggest opportunity for us to invest.

What is your comment?

Perhaps you are spot on with the $30,000 prediction, although we haven't hit that price, but the chance for it is high as we are in the $28,000 at the end of March. Although April looks shaky and there's not much any movement, it's been trading sideways.

So let's see, within 2 months we can hit that $30,00 and who knows what's up till the end of the year.

$100,000 could be far fetch though, in order for us to hit a new all time high, we must first go to bitcoin halving and it's only going to happen next year. But as far as investment, yes, this is still a golden opportunity as the price is still cheap.
1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 09, 2023, 11:58:36 AM
WBC organization already approve this fight, but there's no more update since February 2023, I don't find any updated news. But yeah hopefully this fight may happen this year.

I think the reason they delaying this fight is the huge list of exciting fights coming next month and maybe after that, they will finally put a schedule on this one. There's no way that they will further delay it because the more the days go by, the more Donaire is heading towards retirement soon and he thinks he can still go for 2 or 3 fights after this one, so they really need to make a schedule as soon as possible in order for Donaire to still showcase his boxing skills in this era.

Yes, we all know that it has been approved, but same question, why is there a delay? this fight should have at least a date already, what keeps the fighters and their promoters from announcing the fight officially?

And you might be right, as the day passes by, Donaire might loss sometime, I mean he is not getting any younger, LOL, you can even see his hairline already at his age of 40 years old. This should be made at least June or July so that Donaire will not have any ring rust.
1269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 08, 2023, 09:52:32 PM
^ Yes, hard to say when he started to trash talk, but most likely when he had the belt already or at least he some something to brag on and that's why he starts to talk bad about his opponent or even call others boxers like Inoue and tell him that he is going to beat him hard, LOL. That is the sign of Casimero already, it's that he hit a wall when he was unable to depend his belt at bantamweight because of his weight issues.

But after moving up, Akaho fight? not good for us, because it's very controversial.

Now, again no name in Nghitumbwa, but he should easily win this fight and knock him out so that he can continue to trash talk everyone in this division.
1270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 08, 2023, 09:38:22 PM

And it's according to one thread, in this fight, someone will make it official about the Errol Spence vs Bud Crawford fight. So we will see if it is going to happen because that is one of the most anticipated much as well. Just like this fight, two boxers in their prime and both are champions.

They will be making a huge announcement using this fight as many people will be watching. Hopefully, they will announce the undisputed fight between two undefeated champions that we have been waiting for. If they seal that fight, there will be no more speculation that either one of them is trying to evade it.

The boxing industry is getting bored right now, as it feels invaded by this popular YouTuber that want to get in to the pro scene. These (Davis vs Garcia & Spence & Crawford) are the fights that fans really want to watch.

I agree, it was taken by the Paul Brothers and making millions in their exhibition fights. And this should be a challenge for boxing, promoters, networks affiliations and boxers themselves to bring back the glory and make the right fights and not allow politics and corruption to take over in the industry.

So hopefully by April 22, we will now that Errol Spence vs Bud Crawford is officially on the calendar of fights for this year.

We still have Haney and Loma, but we wanted to see more great fights and hoping that everyone involved can deliver it like the Ryan Garcia vs Tank Davis fight.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 08, 2023, 09:22:45 PM
Yes, it's a huge chance for Donaire to be a champion again or even unify all the belts. I think that's what he is doing now and taking advantage while there are no boxers that can be a threat in the division that can probably face him. Well, if time permits, Nonito will and can surely unify all the belts at 118. For now, let's see him fight because his last fights weren't that flashy anymore.

Not unless Nonito Donaire will lose this fight against Santiago, I will still stick to my personal belief that Donaire can stll dominate the bantamweight division despite his age now that Inoue is now out of the said division. Seeing the current rankings at the 122 across all boxing organizations, it's only Jason Moloney for can give a tough fight to Donaire.

But seems Moloney still recognize Donaire's power and try to delay the time they will face soon by backing on the fight. It will result for them to meet each other at the possible unification fight if they will be both become champion but at that time will happened, Donaire is aging more.

We know that upsets are always possible but I guess it's safe and we can assume that the chance of upset in this bout are smaller than slim, IMO. That said, I believe that Donaire can be a champion once again after this fight and hopefully he can gather up the remaining belts while he can still fight and give his utmost destructive power towards his foes. But since this fight haven't got its own schedule (AFAIK), let's hope that Donaire can still fight once more before this year ends.

Yeah, it's slim I guess, unless that Santiago is a extra ordinary fighter like Manny when he was just starting and upset Barrera in Texas, but if he is not and base on his records, It's unlikely that he can pull it against the experience of Nonito.

Just waiting for words though about this fight because there is no date yet?

Or maybe they are still negotiating? I don't know, but hopefully this will happen this year and we all looking for Donaire to win here and become a champion once more.
1272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price trajectory using AI on: April 08, 2023, 11:06:51 AM
From the reply, it's just generic, I mean we all know that in the next bull run, and right after the halving, we will experience a big growth in the price, 2024-2025. And everyone is expecting that it could be in the tune of 6 digits, minimum of $100,000 per BTC.

But in the second paragraph, there is a caution, obviously, the price is very volatile and high risk for some specially who don't know how it works as they can lose money in the end. In total, I would say the answer is somewhat of expected of someone who have been in bitcoin for at least a year and has the experience as far as the price goes and the factors that affect it.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 07, 2023, 12:00:31 PM
^ Lots of fight, hard to see and what to fight to bet.

But I'm more interesting on the Tapales match, so far no media coverage whatsoever as compare to the Inoue vs Fulton fight. But this is also big as he is facing the other champion in this division. And anyone is hoping that another Filipino will be crown champion in this heavy laden and talented 122 lbs.

Another must watch is Shakur vs Yoshino, although Shakur is the favorite here, but we want to see what the Japanese can offer against Stevenson. It could be a tune up fight for him or could be tougher than what we think since the Japanese might be a good boxer.
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: April 07, 2023, 11:10:50 AM
I think this is a bigger fight that Jack Catterall though, and maybe it's the right move for him. 1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: April 07, 2023, 10:24:19 AM
But I think in this fight it will be different Loma, an upgraded version of him because he simply wants to become a champion and whoever is in front of us, he has to do his best and win even if it is against a young and undefeated boxer in Haney.

A boxer can be different against different opponents, as they create a strategy and adjust based on their opponent's style. Lomachenko is a great boxer and was very popular, but unfortunately he lost to Lopez due to an injury. This time there should be no excuses as he is 100% healthy and will be facing a 100% fighter.
Lomachenko can express out loud anything he desires that he is an overhauled upgraded of him when he faces Haney in the squared ring. He is free to train as much as he likes. But the question remains whether his body is ready for it. He will do his best, but is what he does now better than what he did in the past? He is not any quicker than he was several years ago, in my opinion. The genuine test here is to Devin Haney. Is it attainable for him to prevail in his match with Lomachenko and continue his journey toward greatness?

His not known to have face hands though, he is very technical on how he dismantles his opponent, and that is his trademark.

And for the argument that he is old and no longer in his prime based on his last fight with Ortiz and he is 35 years old?

How about Terrence Crawford who is also 35 years old and people saying that he is in his prime and going to beat Spence? So that age argument doesn't make sense. Maybe we can throw that into the equation, but in the end, it's still the skills that will win the fight or lose one.
1276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can do 30k$ this month? on: April 07, 2023, 10:02:39 AM
So whats about you ? Bitcoin can pump 30k or down again 20K
At the close of March, March 31 to be exact, Bitcoin closed at $28,517.
Today the Bitcoin price at the time of writing is $27,830.46. Compared to the March closing price, the current price could still increase again in the following week of April if FUD and other things against Bitcoin are not strong.

There is an optimistic attitude that April which is still 7 days old will bring the $30K Bitcoin price level in 3 more weeks.

The chance for a $30,000 price in April looks good. However, at the start of the month, it seems that we are just trading sideways, and the current price is below $28,000, for as high as $28,500 several days ago.

One reason is that maybe the bulls are somewhat tired and exhausted pushing for the price again. Or there could be some news, (I haven't check), that might affect the price short term, hence a small correction in the last 24 hours. But definitely, if everything goes positive this month, we might see that $30,000 and we could see FOMO once more.
1277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am now a bitcoin investor. on: April 06, 2023, 09:50:19 PM
Here in my country, the time is 9:35 pm so I greet the community members, good evening everyone, I Rachael9385 am here to announce to the forum that I have ultimately invested in Bitcoin and I can happily say I am now an investor.

Good for you, I think your timing is right to invest right now, I know that the price might be too expensive for the majority of us including me. But you can start small, or at least what you can afford to lose.

I have tried my best to be part of the Bitcoin investors because I have read a lot of news and heard some little stories where Bitcoin blesses a lot of people, so I decided to be one of them and now my parents also gave me money to invest in it because I told them from now till December I will have more than what I invested so they agreed and gave me some money to invest also.

I will advise you though to become a long term holder, and not just in December. We are waiting for the most important activity in Bitcoin which is the halving. I urge you to research about it as well. And based on history, halving is the catalyst for a bull run, so the growth is expected to happen between 2024-2025. So might be better to just HODL.
1278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 06, 2023, 09:38:40 PM
We have seen how Manny Pacquiao live his life now and for sure that's the best example for all those fighters
who will have that same privilege. They need to make sure that before over spending the money they've got
something that will allow them to still have a comfortable life away from boxing.

Pacquiao is a good example of a successful post-boxing life, due to his careful management of his finances. However, in terms of net worth, Donaire is not as wealthy as Pacquiao with a reported net worth of only $5 million according to an article.

https://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-athletes/richest-boxers/nonito-donaire-net-worth/

Donaire just have to be smart in investing his money since he already have enough to invest.

Safe to say that Nonito Donaire also got his own share of investments that he has made all through out his career in the boxing industry, we might not know about it because most of his life are private and not as transparent as his fellow countryman, Manny Pacquiao. But it's undeniable, Manny Pacquiao is just on a different level and he already secured his family in terms of wealth up to his great grandkids in the future.

Hard to compare the wealth of those two, I mean we all know that Manny campaigns in the 147 lbs, which is a division that offer a lot of money, and once he became the cash cow of boxing, anyone that he fights is guaranteed a cool $1 million that's why everyone wanted to fight Manny during that time and even if they lost, biggest paycheck for them.

For Nonito though, it's very path for him, bantamweight/super-bantamweight, less money. But the most important thing is that he brings everything at 100% during a fight. And if he has invested that money that he won from boxing, then good for him.
1279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 06, 2023, 09:26:14 PM
@goldkingcoiner, agree with you mate that stats could help some users here to have some understanding or idea about this relatively unknown opponent of Casimero, I'll just update the OP if I have the time as I'm busy at the moment IRL,

I don't think that there will be an upset here because such thing could derail the plan of Casimero's promoter of him having a big fight in the near future, this will be an easy fight for him.

This is a cherry pick for fight for Casimero, so he will have to win this fight, otherwise the potential fight for Inoue or anyone in the division will not happen and it will life difficult for Casimero because he will have to start from scratch again.

So this is a big fight for him and maybe he feel some pressure in the beginning because he wants to show his local fans his boxing skills.

Nevertheless, as he warm enough in the first couple of rounds, I'm expecting a old version of Casimero that is going to score a knockout or maybe the referee stopping the fight because he has put to much damage to Nghitumbwa.
1280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: April 06, 2023, 11:27:58 AM
Is this final and official though? And they have a date already but no official announcement? and they want to tell the public and  claimed the official announcement is expected at Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia on April 22nd?

I still one of those who still wanted to see this fight despite the initial negotiation ended up dead and all fingers are being pointed to the camp of Crawford as the one who stalled the fight and he has pictured to be ducking Crawford. So if it happens then mad respect for him to accept it.
