281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption Campaign on: May 26, 2023, 09:18:05 PM
Bitcoin peggy box won't be a big impact because Peggy Box stores something that has physical value, but I am just thinking and brainstorming the whole idea to see how possible and successful this method can be, and just like many others have said already this may not make a big impact and at that, individuals supposed to have a well pained out Bitcoin accumulation procedure that will help them make the best out of the process.
^But at least for me, it helps and contributes to the awareness, it does not mean a small or big impact.
Because for me, this is part of encouraging saving and investment. Piggy banks are commonly associated with saving money, especially among younger individuals. By incorporating the BTC print on the piggy bank, the initiative aims to encourage saving and investment specifically in BTC. It can help foster a savings mindset while also promoting the potential long-term value and growth prospects of Bitcoin as an asset.
282  Economy / Gambling / Re: Help us to choose a bonus for a review campaign! on: May 26, 2023, 09:04:09 PM
Bitcoin will be the crypto that they want to receive after giving an honest review. If not then BTC + Free spin or BTC + Free bet as what discussed before is what many people would like to receive. I also think it's also better if they can choose to receive only BTC instead of BTC + Free Bet/Spin because some people might be not into gambling anymore but still giving reviews to casinos honestly. Other crypto won't be a problem but I am more on receiving incentives with BTC.
^The bolded part above.
I think this is right because there are also people here who don't want to gamble but they will think giving a good review in exchange for what they get is also good. This option would be beneficial for those who may not be interested in gambling anymore but still wish to provide honest reviews about casinos or related services. Giving users the choice to receive only BTC that fitted with their personal preferences and allows for a more surprise award in a reward system.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: May 26, 2023, 08:55:39 PM
Luckily this friend of the OP still has some awareness because believe it or not there are a handful of people who can do that and indeed they are a bunch of idiots who choose gambling over their closest people but in this case it still really exists even though only a handful of people do do that but cases like this can still happen.
Quitting gambling is not as easy as turning your palm but this can still be done but of course this clearly takes time and support from all parties, especially the closest family.
Yes it is, having that kind of circle will help you get through with it. Right circle will be there for you only if they still have the awareness and they are not addicted to gambling as well even they gamble . It is hard for a friend to understand if he did not know how to gamble or doesn't know the feeling to gamble and have fun with it.We can have always learn to be a right friend to a friend especially if we feel that they are slowly get addicted to it,we can help them as well as professional help needed.
^ Yeah, it really helped.
Friends who have a good understanding of gambling and its possible risks can offer valuable support and guidance. It is indeed challenging for someone who has not experienced gambling or does not comprehend the allure and excitement it can bring to fully understand how dangerous the situation is. Because for me, recognizing the signs of addiction and being proactive in helping a friend who may be developing a gambling problem is very risky. As friends, we can educate ourselves about responsible gambling practices and the potential risks associated with it. By doing so, we can prepare the situation with empathy and provide the right support to our friends.
284  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using ToS against users normal? on: May 26, 2023, 08:46:30 PM
Casino sites must notify users if the casino changes its terms and conditions to all its members because it is a form of service from the casino to its members. This can also provide comfort to its members and if they do not agree with the new rules of the casino, the members can do something like move to another casino or ask the support service.

But I think some casinos don't announce the new terms and conditions so many of the members are surprised and don't think that casinos are doing that. Stake recently updated their rules and notified them when users logged in to their accounts.

You’d be surprised on the amount of platforms and services related to gambling that do not send communications to their players regarding the change in their ToS. It is, IMO, a very unprofessional way of handling changes in the way the platform runs and it can also mean cheating the players as well. Also, a lot of players don’t dare check their emails for changes anyway, so that’s on them if something happened that they don’t know about especially if the platform sent email communications regarding the change that happened.
^Definitely right, it could be a form of cheat or an unprofessional way of dealing with their users.
It is generally considered unethical for online gambling websites to alter their terms and conditions without proper notification to their users. Reputable platforms strive to maintain transparency and ensure that users are aware of any changes that may impact their experience or rights.
Such instances are not considered normal or acceptable to me.
285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Staking really great way in crypto wealth on: May 24, 2023, 10:15:09 PM
...Another thing is to look for a trusted platform to stake your coins or better not stake at all since the risk is a bit high than the reward.

Yes, everyone should remember this before sending their coins, since the risk of losing them is very high. I'll give you an example today: the Multichain team was arrested by the Chinese police, seizing assets worth $1.5 billion. I doubt that this cryptocurrency will be returned to its rightful owners. In addition, the team stole $2.5 million worth of cryptocurrency, sending it to the Gate exchange. Obviously, someone will never see their money again.
^That is a big question before planning to stake our crypto, which is a good platform to entrust our valuable assets?
Because staking involves locking up your coins for a specific period, and while you may earn rewards for doing so, there is always the possibility of losing your staked coins if the platform encounters issues or faces security breaches.
If you find the risk-to-reward ratio unfavorable or if you are uncomfortable with the potential risks, it may be better to refrain from staking altogether. Instead, you can explore other investment options within the cryptocurrency market that can manage your risk and investment goals.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: May 24, 2023, 10:07:19 PM
When it comes to your partner you should be as honest as possible, especially when it comes to money matters, and gambling addiction is a serious issue because it a ground for separation, so if you're going to gamble and you have a partner already be as honest as possible, I don't have problem with my partner because I never kept secret how and when I gamble especially when winning which is the most important.
If you win don't keep it to yourself she should have a part of it since you are a partner, win or lose you should tell her so he can guide you if you're going reckless in gambling.
^Definitely right and I agree with you about this, because for me, this transparency is the key to maintaining trust and fostering a healthy relationship. By sharing your wins with your partner, you are acknowledging the importance of involving them in your financial decisions.
Remember, being open about both your wins and losses is equally important and if you experience reckless behavior in gambling, it becomes even more helpful to seek guidance from your partner. They can provide support, help you make responsible decisions, and prevent potential financial harm. So there is no reason to be threatened to stop gambling if you can explain to them that you can control your emotion towards gambling and instead, support your happiness.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: May 24, 2023, 09:58:45 PM
~snip~
So for me, I've always preferred to do all my gambling in stable coins only for the reasons given above..
So what about you? Do you feel and do the same or do you have a different perspective to this altogether? Let's discuss.
^ It is quite reasonable to read.
But I always gamble using my BTC because I earned that here in the forum and I never spend my own money from my pocket when I am planning to gamble. If the BTC network becomes congested, I can wait until it will cool down. Because one of the reasons I choose BTC and other unstable cryptocurrencies is the potential for price appreciation. Yes, it is, BTC has experienced significant price appreciation over the years, which has attracted investors and speculators. Gamblers like me view BTC as an investment opportunity in addition to using it for gambling purposes. Because we probably hope that the value of our BTC holdings will increase over time, providing them with potential profits.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker coming to stake.com in the near future ! on: May 24, 2023, 09:48:04 PM
I have seen the best trusted publications for the stake.com site , what if I could be Excited to be quite honest is that they can put a game Function to play pvp , there is no other way that might interest me, because I have entered many casino sites and the poker they offer is the same, only they change the way they Present it, but that is something that has not Changed at all , there are no Live tournaments , there are no indications that it is Another way of playing, the only casino that i have seen that has this feature is betnomi and it is full of people on the Forum.

^Dont forget that Stake.com has its own forum too, that s probably a potential that there will be more players in live poker.
This is good news and I really like poker games since then, probably I will try to play there and open an account if this will happen. Player to player game in poker is a good one not against on the house edge. I hope this is not only a rumor and Eddie will launch the poker game as soon as possible.
Stakes is more known with sports betting but additional games would be more entertaining especially for gamblers who usually jumps from one game to another. In such case, they won't need to move to other platform just to play poker. I hope other gambling games as well will be added. But I cannot blame those  stake players who'd still play with other poker sites 'coz there are differences and for an instance bonuses and rewards unless stake will offer likewise. Good platforms would adapt with fellow competitors for sure in order to sustain their 'position' or reputation in this industry as one of the most popular ones.
^Yes, because it is important to consider the reputation and reliability of the platforms they choose. Established and reputable platforms often adapt and grow to stay competitive in this industry. They understand the importance of meeting players' expectations and offering enticing incentives to maintain their position and attract new users. Platforms like Stake can indeed strive to introduce similar bonuses and rewards to well-compete with their competitors. By keeping an eye on the trends and preferences of the gambling community, they can make adjustments to their offerings, ensuring that players feel rewarded and valued.
289  Economy / Gambling / Re: Help us to choose a bonus for a review campaign! on: May 24, 2023, 09:38:05 PM

HI ALL!

WE ARE THINKING TO START A REVIEW CAMPAIGN WITH JUICY REWARDS.
COMMENT ON THIS THREAD WITH A DESIRED BONUS YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION.
WE WILL NEED 15 PARTICIPANTS. SPORTS AND CASINO BONUSES APPLY.
BE THE ONE WHO DETERMINE THE REWARD!

^You won't encounter any problem if the reward is BTC because that is not against the forum rule, if you can see on the guidelines, there is no altcoins giveaways. I have participated in a campaign like this before, the casino owner send BTC worth $10 plus a free spin, the good thing is you can able to withdraw the money without any wage requirements and it is your choice if you want to gamble or withdraw the BTC.
Well, good luck with your campaign, you can count me in either.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: May 23, 2023, 10:11:15 PM
For me, it's hard to bring gamblers in crypto. When you make gamblers enter online crypto casino, they will just focus on gambling but won't probably interested in discovering more about crypto. Gamblers may understand the risk, but will they understand when to stop? How to control their greeds?
Maybe it's your way, but I haven't invited gamblers to online crypto casino cause I don't want to be involve when that person becomes addicted. I don't want to be the one influencing others to be addicted on online casino
Yeah I agree with you mate, I don't support the notion of bringing someone into gambling especially when it has to do with it crypto but I can only do that if he or she is someone I know very well that has a way of control towards his gambling habit because a gamble with no control is better left to stay off gambling because he or she can easily be addicted to the act and it would result to the destruction of the person.
^Both of you were right.
You rightly emphasize the significance of self-control when engaging in gambling activities. Without proper control and moderation, gambling can potentially lead to addictive behavior and have a negative outcome for individuals. I think it is good for anyone to be aware of their limits, set boundaries, and approach gambling responsibly.
If you decide to introduce someone to gambling, that is the risky part to assess their level of self-control and their ability to have better decisions. Because for me knowing the person well and understanding their habits and attitudes towards risk can help determine whether they are equipped to handle the potential risks associated with gambling.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Casinos Should Do Survey From Time To Time To Assess You. on: May 23, 2023, 10:02:02 PM
I don't think casinos, especially the big ones need to ask their customers if they are using a VPN, because they usually spot it themselves.
They are always chasing multi-account bonus/promotion abusers and good bettors banned or limited by them, so it's one of the first thing they check IMO.
I guess it’s not their obligation anymore, as gamblers themselves should be responsible about it. And if ask if they are using VPN, I don’t think gamblers will put theirselves into danger so might as well they should be the first one protecting their privacy, the gambling site is only next to them. Though gambling sites have also a little responsibility about it, but mostly it all falls to the gamblers themselves.
^ I think that is a valuable practice for casinos and I voted yes that seems the majority's choice.
Conducting surveys allows casinos to gather feedback directly from their customers, assess their satisfaction levels, and identify areas for improvement. By understanding the needs and preferences of their clientele, casinos can tailor their services and enhance the overall gambling experience. Because I believed that by actively monitoring and assessing the behavior and preferences of their customers, casinos can better understand their audience, provide a more secure and enjoyable gambling experience, and quickly solve potential issues in the future. This ongoing evaluation and adjustment process can contribute to maintaining a fair and trustworthy gaming environment for all parties involved.
292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: May 23, 2023, 09:56:52 PM
You already Have a good bonuses and was wondering why you are asking for another sets?
Two heads are better than one. Community discussion will lead to more advices which can help a gambling site. I like this kind of discussion, it can help.

To encourage more people into your gambling site, welcome bonus of 100% deposit is good. There are many gambling sites that are offering that.
Competition is laudable in every business sector as a way to offer customers a better service but while competing it shouldn't be done above your shoulders. What I mean by this is that not because other gambling sites are giving a 100% bonuses on every deposit then another gambling site should follow suit knowing fully well that their financial power is way below that of the other.  If a gambling site wants to give out deposit bonus then it should be a percentage they can meet up at all cost to avoid the challenges that could risk their reputation cause they couldn't meet up what they had earlier promised that drew people's attention in the first place.

The casinos have very important things that they should never break, one of the things are the promises, everything that they promise must be fulfilled because otherwise it would literally be the end of a casino, because every player hopes for the promises and things that speak and pray casino, in the case of deposits that give them a 100% bonus , that is something that makes everyone's eyes shine, and that is something that sometimes causes a lot of problems, because most of the new people who enter think that this bonus it is removable and that is where the journey begins in this , that is why it is important to read.

^Definitely right and I agree with both of you.
Casinos have a responsibility to uphold their promises and fulfill the expectations they set for their players. The integrity of a casino rests on delivering on these commitments, as it directly impacts the trust and satisfaction of their customers.
One of the enticing offers provided by many casinos is the deposit bonus, such as a 100% bonus. Then there is a chance that probably it is hard for players to understand the TOS associated with such bonuses. While they can certainly make one's eyes light up with excitement, it is important to recognize that these bonuses often come with specific requirements and restrictions.
So it is very important to read the TOS first before having big expectations on the bonus policies.

294  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Other Alternatives to Borrowing Money to Start Trading on: May 20, 2023, 08:41:52 PM
~snip~
This is the best alternative to loaning money to kickstart your trading journey. What are the other alternatives you know?

^As far as I know, there are other options for how to avoid borrowing money to have a kickstart for your crypto journey.
I think instead of borrowing money, you can allocate a portion of your savings or create a budget to set aside funds specifically for trading. This way, you are using your own money without incurring debt. Another option could be a DCA, if you heard this and understand, this is the best option because this strategy involves regularly investing a fixed amount of money like $10 at regular intervals, regardless of the asset's price. By consistently buying cryptocurrencies over time, you can average out the purchase price and potentially benefit from market fluctuations.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Budget For Halving on: May 20, 2023, 08:29:31 PM
Bitcoin is not an investment to trust with loaned money. It'll put you under pressure, which may affect your blood pressure because it's not under your control. I'd say that you invest gradually what you've got, investing 90k on bitcoin is great, but when market price drops it'll affect your investment drastically just like you'll earn if it pumps. It's a top investment risk and that's not acceptable to place yourself on such a situation. I've read in the past about a person that lost lots of money after loaning money to trade bitcoin and lost everything, including his house and wife's money. If the money is for hodling for a longer period, it'll be better, but the lender may need their funds within 6 months or a year and bitcoin doesn't skyrocket in a way that can be predicted. Op invest the spare cash you've got.
^Definitely right, you can loan money for investment but not on crypto, especially in BTC.
Because taking a loan to invest in BTC is a risky decision due to its volatility, potential debt burden, and probably uncertain returns. It is important to consider these factors and only invest with funds you can afford to lose. However, it is a nice plan since we know the BTC price will always show potential after halving but there is no guarantee that it will have an accurate result, the price is always unpredictable. So invest little by little that the amount that you can afford would be the best practice.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Gambling Operator Court Case on: May 20, 2023, 08:02:44 PM

Why didn't he stop himself?

If he wins the legal case, there really is a need for casinos to check the backgrounds of their users before they reach this point. Any user could just purposely hit their maximum and take legal action to make money in court and not in the casino. That's the way to make money not win on a poker table.
^That question comes up quickly in my mind.
Let us accept that casinos why here just because of the business, because of making a profit, they don't care how much your bet as long as you did not violate any. Many casinos have systems in place to monitor and identify unusual spikes in a user's betting activity. These systems are typically part of the casino's responsible gambling policy, aimed at detecting signs of problem gambling or potentially fraudulent activity. If unusual betting patterns are detected, the casino may take actions such as notifying the user, restricting their account, or implementing additional responsible gambling measures, this commonly happens especially if you are in a winning position.
297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can copy trading be profitable on: May 19, 2023, 10:08:31 PM
Is copy trading worth it

Can I make 20$ per day if I have 2000$
Yes, it’s worth the money.
~snip~
^Definitely right.
Having access to reliable sources and a community of knowledgeable individuals can increase the chances of making profits through copy trading. But keep in mind that as a day trader, it is possible to achieve $20 in profit per day by studying the market and understanding how trading works at your own pace. That is very risky to have a solid understanding of the market dynamics and develop your trading skills.
While aiming for consistent profits is desirable, it is important to manage expectations and avoid relying solely on daily profit targets. The market can be volatile, and it is very risky to commit to trading responsibly to avoid being liquidated. Starting with decent capital is advantageous, but it is important to focus on building your skills and knowledge rather than expecting high returns every day. Consistency and long-term investment are key to sustainable success in trading.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 19, 2023, 10:00:13 PM
It's been a year and half that I talked last with a family friend who is living in North America and finally, he replied my messages after so many sms sent out to his number, he told me about how he own 60k in gambling and I somehow feel sorry for him but at the same time I doubt this, because I don't see anyone talking about gambling debts before.
So is gambling debt one way or other possible without the person taking loan or borrowing money?

Could be that your friend is not giving you the full gist, I don't think there is any casino that will want to give you play now and pay later, where will they have the money to payout players that won games if they allow the play now and pay later, where are they going to have the money to finance the casino and other expenses, where will they also see the money to run the business, that option is not ideal nor real, it will kill any business like gambling. The worst thing a casino can do for you is bonus, they will allow you have a coupon or some bonus to play some games and that comes with a conditions attach to them.
^Probably in most cases, when playing at a casino, you are required to use your own funds or assets to gamble. While some casinos may offer credit or payment options, these are typically reserved for high-rollers or established customers with a proven track record. So using a credit card for gambling can potentially lead to accumulating debt.
It is commendable that your acquaintance advises against taking loans or borrowing money. Gambling debt can arise if someone exceeds their financial limits, spends more than they can afford, or becomes caught in a cycle of chasing losses. It is important practice to take responsible gambling and set strict personal limits to avoid falling into such debt.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: May 19, 2023, 09:54:57 PM
It is obviously very sad feeling to lose money all the time. But this is how gambling works. You can/may lose everything you are gambling with. When you keep losing your temper you will end up losing all your funds. This endless loses following each other will result in you getting very frustrated. I think its best to be very patient and possibly go away from keyboard or smart phone. Anything you are gambling through. You may force your account to not allow you sign in for couple of days possibly. This can help you combat terrible situation.
Losing is an inevitable part of gambling, but if you see yourself in a consistent loss, that is already a different story. There must be something wrong about you, and being impatient will only push you to its worst situation. Maybe if one is experiencing this, it’s best to just take a break from gambling especially if you can’t control the urge in yourself. If you can’t be patient with this current clogged mempool, then just stay away from gambling for now.
^ That is true and losing is indeed a natural aspect of gambling and there is no expert on it, but if you find yourself consistently experiencing losses, it may be indicative of underlying issues. Impatience can add to the situation and lead to further negative outcomes. If you find yourself in this position, it is advisable to take a break from gambling, especially if you struggle to control your urges. It is important to prioritize self-care and responsible behavior. If the current circumstances, such as a congested mempool, are causing impatience, it may be best to slow down from gambling until you feel more in control. Remember, it is very risky to prioritize your well-being and make decisions aimed at your long-term goals.
Just wait until the mempool or the BTC network will cooldown.
300  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: May 19, 2023, 09:43:09 PM
Most scam casinos actually come from new casinos in this industry. Because others like gamblers and well-known influencers also planted in the minds of most gamblers that when a casino is new, the chances of you winning a lot of money are high.

It is these hyped things that they say are the ones that make an impression on the online gambling community, so many are victims of online casinos. The majority of people think that they will get a lot of money for a small amount in gambling, but they will realize in the end that they have lost a lot and even exceeded the small capital that they thought would be a big amount, but it turned out to be a big amount in the end. they will lose.
Gamblers should not have thought that a new casino could give them a chance to win big money. That is an erroneous thought because their chances of losing may be greater than the wins they can get.

But indeed, they also can win, especially if they can get lucky when gambling. They could prevent big losses if they used small bets and kept track of how long they had been gambling. But it depends on how they control the use of money.
^The fact that it is important for gamblers to have realistic expectations when it comes to winning big money at a new casino. Assuming that a new casino will automatically increase their chances of winning is a mistaken belief, as the odds of losing may actually be higher than the potential wins. However, probably there is still a possibility of winning, particularly if luck is on their side. They can lessen the risk of significant losses by employing strategies such as using small bets and keeping track of their gambling duration because success in gambling depends on individual money management and self-control. In the end, we should be responsible gamblers as always.
