This is another historic long squeeze in the last weeks. And they continue to build up trying to catch the knife. Do they realize that even if the price rebounds sharply up, this is usually preceeded by a sharper dip which will liquidate them all? But what do I know, I'm sitting only on a 10x profit just by not participating in the market volatility.  Wink

Thanks to Revolut, I can transfer to any exchange fiat and buy in 2s. This is my 3rd purchase in 2 days. (I would NOT reccomend buying inside Revolut, since the fee is 3% - just insane!) Suddenly the dusty scheme of rebuying back is on the table. I don't have any hopes or illusions for low prices, but I prefer to make a precise calculation in advance, in case some more crashes are incoming. I don't have problems buying in crashes. On the contrary, I feel like a shark preying in bloody waters  Smiley But, I have a problem selling too much in the early stage of a big bull run. I knew 15K-30K was a dead zone, but I just couldn't resist after all those years of crashes. This mistake is still haunting my dreams. It seems that for my psychology it is easier not to sell anything than to sell a small amount and keeping it that way. Hopefully, next time I will not fall for that. I know better times are coming soon after this bear BS is over. Well, now I have some fiat in the bank unlike before, when I was all in. This makes me more comfortable not selling at all in future. May be some day I could buy even a house with a BTCitcoin backed loan, so I really may not need to sell for fiat at all.

If the price now was 49K, I would have considered it as extremely dissapointing. 35K I would compare to this

P.S. Sub 39K again. Another blow to the high leverage longs. They NGMI unless they lower the leverage to ... 1 Smiley The other option is to hang themselves after the gazillionth liquidation. Hodlers dont care  Grin
This turned out to be a massive unexpected long squeeze down to $36500.

We are 50% through the fourth #Bitcoin Epoch!

50% of Blocks have been mined since last halving.
105,000 to go!
Expected halving date: 3 May 2024!

Kinda near my birthday Smiley

I expect big things from the fallout of the next halving. I dunno if our last bull run was diluted due to the fall out from what COVID did to the world economy. We did not have a blow off top like after previous halving’s.

I really think $250,000+ will be the price of 1BTC at some point in 2025 (obviously it always takes a while for the supply shock to take effect on the price post halving).
We will get the fireworks that we were promised in 2021.

Now is a good time to buy but I am waiting for lower with a large stack of fiat.

Regarding the bottom, it seems that we have 3 higher lows 28K, 34K and 37K. Unless WW3 starts, I don't see how this trend will be broken and 30K revisited. The bad news is that despite the supply shock, the derivate market remains a major threat to any significant price increase.  When it will  be enough to overcome the gravity of the derivates is hard to predict. Wall Street and SEC are doing everything possible to suffocate the price. I'm sure that 100K and then 300K will come at some point, but may be not so soon.

P.S. Sub 39K again. Another blow to the high leverage longs. They NGMI unless they lower the leverage to ... 1 Smiley The other option is to hang themselves after the gazillionth liquidation. Hodlers dont care  Grin

Finally some lil pump  Wink
288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 27, 2022, 02:46:24 PM
It's been nearly 6 months, since we have entered the bear market. It looks like in the last 4 months we are scratching the bottom with some ant pumps quickly erased by the bears. Is this a sign that a new bull market is emerging, it is hard to tell for now. What I've noticed is that at the end of each month the longs in Binance increase by 50-100%. Everytime they got liquidated in a matter of 1 week. It looks like a bunch of asians who take their paychecks at the end of the month, then pay the bills and the rest they put on 10-100x leverage/margin longs. These morons are simply cancer for BTCitcoin and Binance is definitely to blame 99% for the bear market. In the last day the volume there has been above 75K BTCitcoins. The average volume there is around 45K. Why is this? Is the price at ATH to sell so frantically? It is 39K, ffs! And what is so fun to lose your income each month btw? Is this a new kind of S&M porn? We used to be visited by some n00b traders boasting with like 10% profit and thinking they are some kind of geniuses. In the last 6 months, I haven't seen even a single post boasting with such a profit. The market somehow screwed up everyone of them... multiple times... with a rusty pipe  Grin Grin Grin All this is quite irrational. The balance on exchanges is decreasing by 30%+ each year. Only on the cancer exchange Binance it remains relatively constant. Thus it creates an artificial bear market which will be destroyed unexpectedly by the supply shock on the remaining exchanges. Until then I can't see an improvement. If an asset is dominated by players who like to lose all, the price can't go up. Only if they become a minority, the price will go up again.
289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 26, 2022, 06:31:16 PM
The market is completely illogical these days. The mass adoption, worldwide recognition and the outflow of bitcoins from exchanges is rapidly growing each day. Still the bears find ammo to erase any positive price movement.  May be this is caused by the reckless longs and/or whales trying to control the market and buying in the shadows cheap coins. But anyone falling in this trap is going to regret as those who sold at 3K-4k not so long time ago. To be honest, I'm a bit sad for all these morons, since they bet on the wrong side - the global fiat collapsing empire. They follow the footsteps of mindrust. The inflation in all countries is taking its heavy toll. Just in 2 years for the most important goods it is over 50%. Imagine what will happen after 10 or 20 years and those thinking "we are rich" by selling now, one day will be completely broke. And then imagine what will be the price of BTCitcoin despite the bear markets caused by the near-sightedness of these jerks. It is obvious for me that selling just for fiat in the bank now and in the future is a huge mistake!

You have to translate from Bulgarian to English to read the paper. As I suspected, Bulgaria never had those 200K+ bitcoins.

Update news:
Russia failing in war aims and Ukraine succeeding, says US Secretary of State Antony Blinken)

I couldn't believe it after hearing this news. Because Russia is a much stronger country than Ukraine.

How is Ukraine succeeding? Country getting destroyed day by day. 10 million people have fled.

Blinken is a fucking propaganda imbecile.

Kremlin could deploy a Tsar Bomba on Ukraine and I bet the western politicians and media will still give Ukraine the edge. "There is a still a chance, Russia hasn't achieved a thing yet. Blah Blah. Hunter Biden is awesome. Boris Johson is a great buddy. Macron is superb. Inflation is only 20% this year, can you believe it?"
Un fucking believable.
For 2 months of war not a single victory for the rushists. Over a quarter of the troops and machines were destroyed with nearly 50% of the rushist army inoperative and in a total retreat on all fronts. Total humiliation for a nation claiming to be a superpower. The only achievment of the rushists is raping of women and killing of children. And that is awarded by putler - the little botox antichrist. If putler thinks he can solve the catastrophe by printing rubli, he is a sorely deluded lunatic. In a few years rusha will be desolate and poor like North Korea, or even worse - Lebanon, teared apart by explosions each day. In the last days 5 explosions of key military and oil infrastructure occured, caused by cigars as the proud of rusha - cruiser Moskva was sunk.  Grin Grin Grin

Treasury Secretary @SecYellen, "Satoshi Nakamoto proposed a decentralized peer-to-peer system for making and processing payments. The #Bitcoin white paper proposed a novel method for validating transactions using cryptography that addressed the so-called “double spend” problem."

wow..

First I couldn't believe my ears.  I thought this must be a deepfake.

After so many years of holding BTC this is unbelievable.  Her explaining BTC..... just wow!

How far have we come, my friends...  we witness history in the making.

BTCitcoin's future is getting brighter and brighter.

I salute every one of you hodling soldiers going through gut wrenching ups and downs together all these years, seeing that future far away.

It's coming...

buckle up...  short term price is just noise

I couldn't say it better! My thoughts exactly! What srikes me most is that she is talking lke we do here on WO. Comparing the internet adoption with BTCitcoin adoption which is going to happen soon is just way beyond the usual fud expected by someone on this position. The implications of this change of attitude by USA will be seen in the years to come. Clearly the traders have made the biggest mistake in their lives. There is a little excuse for those like mindrust who dumped their chance for freedom on the covid scare. But to sell now with only positive news and institutions buying like crazy is beyond any logic. They have no living brain cells unfortunately. BTCitcoin is not for trade. BTCitcoin is here to stay and adopted by the free world! The commies, banksters and corrupt politicians may go to hell with their toilet paper called money!

It is amazing how quickly the tide turned in favour of BTCitcoin adoption worldwide. And may be there are some chances for a spot ETF this year:

There is either some whale seller or a bunch of suicidal longs who regularly dump their salary at the end of each month. I have a theory that the ammassing of longs in exchanges, where actual purchase/sell of BTC is involved leads to the collapse of the system. Whether it is helped by manipulators I don't know, but it is evident, that for 2 years the long/short liquidation ratio is huge, may be 9 to 1. Btw, this is so tragically stupid, to lose money and never actually own BTC's. Whatever might be the reason for this dump, the good thing is that the exchanges are drained out of BTC's with about 30K BTC's each month. The supply shock will be huge, when the weak hands give for nothing their BTC's to people like Michael Saylor and countless hodlers and institutions.  And when the next big bull run starts, everyone who sold will be very unhappy. Ask mindrust if you don't believe me.   Wink

I really don't care timing the dips to buy for a bigger profit. It is just that I lift up my spirit by moar buying that usual  Wink So, when she moons, I rejoice for not selling. When she dips, I rejoice even moar for increasing my stash and withdrawing it from the exchange. Now I celebrate another 0.3% increase of my stash for today, and 4.6% since the start of 2022. Cheers!

JUST IN  UST stablecoin foundation buys 2830 MORE #Bitcoin worth $130 MILLION
https://twitter.com/BitcoinMagazine/status/1508403306086948871

Luna has purchased more than 11,700 bitcoin, worth about $520 million, to build a reserve for its stablecoin UST. But what does that mean exactly?
...
Bitcoin Magazine found LFG’s Bitcoin address after rumors online pointed at a $125 million deposit of USDT into Binance. From analyzing Binance’s Bitcoin hot withdrawal wallet, an address was spotted receiving roughly the same amount, in BTC, within a one-hour window. Terraform Labs founder Do Kwon on Wednesday confirmed via email that the address indeed belongs to LFG. As of March 25, LFG has deposited 11,759 BTC to that address over the past few days.
...
“$UST with $10B+ in $BTC reserves will open a new monetary era of the Bitcoin standard,” Kwon tweeted a few days later. “P2P electronic cash that is easier to spend and more attractive to hold #btc.”
