Somehow Manchester United played really badly against Newcastle today. This played an important role in that 2-0 loss. I don't know why the Red Devils were this much weak this time. Their last head-to-head game ended up with a victory by Manchester United. They just couldn't maintain this psychological advantage over their opponent.

This was another point loss for them which has been happening for three weeks. They had better be well-prepared for Brentford in Old Trafford to finish this bad streak.

Napoli's losing the game against Milan by 4-0 home was a really big surprise to me. I was expecting Napoli to win this game despite being very comfortable for the league title already. But they just couldn't prevent this big loss. On the other hand this was an important win for Milan. Because they are trying to qualify for the Champions League at least.

This win is a really huge one for them and this should motivate them to do more as well.

It looks like there is another comfortable win waiting for Verstappen. But podium can be a little different than the previous ones this time. Because Perez's climbing to podium from the last position will be really difficult. Mercedes drivers both can capture spots there if they aren't slower than Alonso. The strategies also will be really important for this goal.

Alonso is a really competitive driver with the new Aston Martin car now. He would surely do his best to maintain his podium series. And I see Ferrari is still a huge disappointment.

Rennes beat PSG away by 2-0 last week you know but the same Rennes were beaten by Lens home this time. It is really hard to understand these teams sometimes.

On paper PSG are a far better team than all of the remaining ones. But they aren't having a consistent season as well. Now I see that Lens and Marseille both have dropped the gap to six points with PSG but it is of course due to playing an extra game. I don't think PSG would lose points to Lyon as well. I don't expect them to let a title challenge go on for a long time. We would just watch a rivalry for the second position which is important to join the Champions League group stage directly.

It was a crucial game for the league title and Bayern Munich got an important win by a solid game. I wasn't expecting this win to be this easy for them honestly. I knew how much weakness Dortmund defense had though but their offensive side was still very strong. That was my motivation to believe that it would end up with a close score. But after seeing a 4-0 score I was really surprised.

Tuchel has made a really great impact for Bayern Munich already as it seems. I don't think they will lose the Bundesliga title to Dortmund from now on.

Real Madrid and Manchester City seem like the most interested teams in signing Gvardiol in the summer. His cost to these teams might be around 75 million pounds as well according to some sources.

Gvardiol is a really skilled young defender now. Despite his very young age for a defender he has been doing a great job. He isn't good at only sweeping the dangerous attacks. He can support the attacks of his team with nice runs as well. It isn't easy to find a versatile defender like him at this age honestly. I wonder which team would be his first choice between these options.

This was just the third loss in a row for Inter in the league. I wonder when this bad form will end for their own good. They didn't play badly against Fiorentina actually. They had so many chances to score but finishing was really poor in this game unfortunately. Especially Lukaku had a bad day. He wasted a 100% goal chance as well and it was unbelievable indeed.

I don't know what is going on with this team now and they had better improve quickly. Otherwise they might have serious problems on qualifying for the Champions League.

Arsenal and Manchester City both won their games with the same scores. Manchester City had a more challenging game on paper actually but this still didn't change anything for them.

There was a total destruction by the Manchester team. Liverpool showed how weak their defending is one more time. I wonder when they will leave these bad days behind really. Anyway the title competition is still continuing now. There is quite a big gap between the first two teams now but we shouldn't forget that Manchester City have one game missing. Still it is a serious advantage for Arsenal to maintain while getting close to the end.

I think Galatasaray had serious difficulties despite winning the game by 2-0 anyway. Because Adana Demirspor had really big opportunities until Galatasaray finally got ahead in the game. A couple of them were really serious ones but Galatasaray still resisted them somehow. Galatasaray should have been a little better at defending actually. It was a home game for them in the end.

In addition to that they are fighting their way to the league title as well. They can't afford many point losses now. Let's see what Fenerbahce will do in the derby game.

It was going to be a really comfortable game for Barcelona and it was really the case as well. Because Elche are in no position to make big difficulties for Barcelona in this season. They are just at the bottom of the standings and not even close to getting out of the relegation zone as well. They couldn't do anything in this game too as they didn't have any motivation to do so.

Barcelona just kept things under control and finished them off. They are just running to securing the league title now.

Chelsea are hoping for an opportunity to sign Victor Osimhen this summer but I don't think it will be more than a dream for them. Because they don't have anything decent they can offer the player to choose them over the other teams. They won't even be a part of the Champions League next season most probably. Why would Osimhen like to play for them anyway?

Even if Chelsea become the only team to make an offer he would still choose to stay I think. Because Napoli are in a much better situation than Chelsea now.

Maybe Freiburg can manage to open the gap with Leipzig more in the standings after this week's games finish.

Because I expect them to beat Hertha Berlin first of all. Meanwhile Leipzig's opponent is going to be Mainz. It is a home game for Leipzig though but I still don't expect a very comfortable game. Mainz can be a really dangerous team really. Maybe they can manage to steal a point from Leipzig again. However Leipzig are really amazing in home games so far. Therefore it doesn't seem like Mainz's job will be easy at all. I assume this would end up by Leipzig's win.

Real Madrid are going to have one of the easiest fixtures for them on this week. They should be able to beat Valladolid in Santiago Bernabeu without having serious problems. Bookmakers must be thinking the same as well because their odd for the win is very low. It isn't worth adding to a betslip actually. Instead it seems like it would be better to bet on a win by a big gap for them.

They don't have much chance left for the league title maybe but I still expect them to play solidly in this game. They should make up for the El Clasico loss.

I assume Roma would manage to put an end to this losing streak immediately. The game against Sampdoria is a big opportunity to do so honestly.

Roma are having a season that they can really join the Champions League. But they need to be a little more consistent to make this dream real. Mourinho had better make the right changes to finish this bad form. Maybe it is some kind of a psychological problem among the players. Whatever it is Mourinho needs to help them focus fully again. If they don't qualify for the Champions League again then Mourinho might leave the team in the summer maybe.

It wasn't an impressive level of performance by Marseille unfortunately. They were really bad at finding the target first of all. They had so many goal attempts but only two of them were on target. Montpellier managed to resist them well until the final whistle. I assume PSG would beat Lyon and consolidate their position more.

PSG aren't a very consistent team this season actually but Marseille are just making things easier for PSG to make it to the league title.

Feyenoord - Roma is a nice draw to follow in this round of the Europa League. These are teams that faced each other in the ECL finale last season. Roma's performance wasn't as good as I expected but they still managed to win the title. Maybe this time things can be a little more interesting. Feyenoord can try to do their best to eliminate them here this time.

They have been having a really good season actually so this isn't an impossible task for them. Roma had better stay solid at defending or Feyenoord can punish them. Feyenoord's performance in the previous round was also spectacular by the way.

It is going to be great to have a big opening game after this Euro 2024 qualifiers break. Manchester City are going to play another important game for the league title. They need to keep winning not to fall behind Arsenal in this title race. This is obviously a winnable game for them as well when we consider Liverpool's current situation. They haven't been too comfortable against Liverpool in home games recently though.

But this season is very different. We don't have the same Liverpool now so this is a big chance for Manchester City to go for a decent win.

Things aren't going on well for Turkey for now. They could have played much better against Croatia. In the first half they were good actually but this didn't reflect on the score. The second half wasn't much of an impressive one later on. Wales won their game in the meantime and now Turkey are at the third place. It looks like the games against Wales are going to be more important for Turkey to take the second place at least.

Maybe they can even think of a manager change while there is a long break until the next games in the qualifiers because Kuntz is criticized a lot now.

McTominay seems to be another target for Newcastle as it is said that Eddie Howe wants him the most now. However Newcastle should still focus on bringing some top players to the team as well.

Of course the only way to be able to do that is to finish the season in the English Premier League in top four. As long as they secure a Champions League ticket they should be good to go. Because big players always demand more than the others. Newcastle need to have something in their hands they can offer such players. They had better do their best in the remaining time of the season.

Real Madrid are an absolute favourite against Chelsea honestly. Chelsea aren't the same one as their previous version who had Tuchel. They are having a really problematic season in general. Their look in the Champions League might be be a little better but it is still not an enough level of performance to advance to later stages in the tournament.

Real Madrid are one of the teams that have a big probability of eliminating Chelsea now. While Chelsea are in this kind of a situation I think Real Madrid would do a similar thing to them which they did to Liverpool.
