Union Berlin are still following the biggest teams in front of them by a couple of points in the standings. Maybe it is still quite difficult for them to take the lead again but this distance is still very good for them. They just need to be patient and see any of Bayern Munich and Dortmund make any mistake. But even one of them make that mistake still the other one would make it to the title.

It is not very realistic for Union Berlin to win the title for now as a result. This is still a very successful season for them for certain. I wouldn't expect them to maintain the third position even while we are closing in on the end of the season.

It is very lovely to follow the rivalry for top four in the league now. With Lazio's getting a win over Roma they are the new owner of the second position now. Inter are just the victim of their bad form recently. This was their second loss in a row. Milan also could have benefited from this situation and gone up to the third position as well. But they have been even worse than Inter these days.

Roma are another team in similar situation actually. Only Napoli and Lazio are doing well in the upper positions. Napoli have already finished the season though but this is very important for Lazio on one hand.

After the recent postponements I see that there is a really delightful game ahead. Manchester City are going to host Liverpool this time. It is a big problem for Liverpool obviously as they are a very inconsistent team this season. I know how they beat Manchester United by an absurd result anyway. But this doesn't happen very often at the same time.

I don't think they would stand much chance against Manchester City in Etihad. If Haaland has a good day as well then they can even demolish Liverpool. Liverpool don't have a great defending despite having very solid defenders.

Atletico Madrid suddenly captured a chance to take the second position from Real Madrid in the remaining time period of the season.

Because at this point I don't think Real Madrid would be focused on the La Liga more. They will care about the Champions League the most for reaching the championship which they can really do it. They don't have much chance to go for the La Liga title anymore in the end. Atletico Madrid can turn this into an advantage if they play decently and consistently. Considering their form this is possible.

Chelsea still have come not a very short way. Their chance of advancing to the next stage has dropped too much already after having a draw against Real Madrid. I just think Real Madrid would tear them apart if they preserve the same motivation level they got against Liverpool. These are both English teams and not so different than each other this season as well.

One way or another I don't see any other possibility than Real Madrid to reach the semi finals comfortably. I still don't see Chelsea defense as reliable. Their most recent Premier League game has also shown that.

The most comfortable matchup seems to be for Leverkusen in this stage. However it is still not an easy one on one hand.

Because Union Berlin were the team being eliminated by Royale Union SG in the previous stage. I was expecting the opposite to happen honestly. Now Royale Union SG will face another German team and they should be fully ready for this challenge. Besides Leverkusen's position in the Bundesliga isn't even better than Union Berlin. Leverkusen are mostly focused on the Europa League I guess. This might be some extra help for them to eliminate their opponent maybe.

Aston Villa are rumoured to be interested in signing Romelu Lukaku in the summer. I think Chelsea would prioritize selling him instead of loaning him to another team. Inter don't seem willing to extend his loan contract now. Because he is far away from his much better performances right now. After a long-term injury he hasn't been very effective. His performance in the World Cup was also poor.

Aston Villa should be able to reach an agreement for him as long as the demands aren't too high for him. Because he couldn't keep his value much high after having a bad period for a long time.

Barcelona just had the last word in the La Liga by winning the El Clasico by 2-1 after a really great comeback. I was even surprised to see them conceding first. But this was still not enough to keep Barcelona away from winning the game. Lewandowski couldn't score any goal maybe but Barcelona still managed to reach their goal in this game.

Kessie's goal was really devastating for Real Madrid as it came in the stoppage time. Ancelotti should have been able to make his players show a much better performance than this. Now we can comfortably say that the champion team will be Barcelona surely.

Inter really surprised me by not even scoring a goal in this game. I was expecting them to win by a small margin but the opposite scenario happened.

They were just horrible at finding the target today. Only 3 shots were on target despite having 18 goal attempts. Their job was really difficult because of this bad performance. Juventus are really good at securing their score advantage when they get ahead first. This is valid against big teams as well. This was what they did in this whole game. This was an important win to maintain the gap of four points with Atalanta as well.

You have Messi and Mbappe both in the starting eleven but still can't prevent a loss by 2-0 home against Rennes.

This was a really absurd game for PSG and I'm sure that so many people lost their bets on PSG as well. I don't know how they can play this much badly at this point. Because they are already out of the Champions League as well. They need to focus on the Ligue 1 title in this case. Yeah there is still a big gap between Marseille and PSG. But still this shouldn't be a risk to take for PSG now. They could have won this one.

Dortmund had a really great week thanks to Leverkusen today. I wasn't waiting for Bayern Munich to lose this game. I even thought that they would win by a close margin. But they just couldn't maintain their score advantage here. Leverkusen scored two penalties and they were also in their lucky day. I didn't like Bayern Munich in defense today.

Leverkusen were comfortable about creating dangerous attacks against them. I know that Bayern Munich are focused on the Champions League more. But this kind of results can cost them the Bundesliga title on one hand.

Arsenal are very determined about making it to the league title now. Their performance against Crystal Palace was another proof of how much they want this. Crystal Palace couldn't do much thing against them honestly which was the expected from them. You can't deal with this Arsenal in Emirates especially if you are a smaller team.

Arsenal have all the motivation they need for the championship now. As they are out of the Champions League as well they can focus on the Premier League completely. This is their biggest chance to go for it.

Maybe Verstappen is going to be at the 15th position on the grid but I think there isn't any problem anyway. Red Bull is extremely fast this season as well. They are like one of the few teams that have made a big progress for this season now. Verstappen is also one of the best drivers right now as well. These combined are becoming a huge threat to the others even in this situation.

Verstappen wouldn't have big problems on climbing to the first position unless he has another engine issue. I have my doubts for now until seeing the car okay.

This time Depay wasn't able to do anything about scoring or making assists. But Griezmann made up for him by scoring a goal anyway. Lemar also impressed people by scoring only three minutes after entering the game.

This was a very comfortable game for Atletico Madrid most of the time. The first half was already one-sided. Valencia tried to balance the game in the second half and I can say they were better by finding more chances. But still they were unable to stop their opponent from continuing to score. This 3-0 win will just relieve them in the third position for this week. Besides they can even drop the gap with Real Madrid depending on the result of the El Clasico.

Lens did a really good job against Angers today. This reassuring win should be giving them some extra confidence in themselves. They are still in the fight for the second position technically. But it depends on being consistent on one hand. Otherwise their job wouldn't be easy against Marseille and Monaco in the first place. For now they have captured this position in the standings.

I wonder how good Marseille will be able to play against Reims away. Reims are in a great form and they should be able to compete with Marseille at a similar level as well.

Manchester City - Bayern Munich is the most attention getting matchup for me already. This is not much different than a finale for the Champions League as well. They are both teams that deserve to make it to the title now. Manchester City have been putting on a great show so far especially thanks to Haaland. He is their best card against Bayern Munich as well.

Bayern Munich on the other hand are doing really good despite losing a very important player in their attacking line like Lewandowski. I wonder if their disciplined game plan will be helpful for them to eliminate Manchester City as well. But I'm favouring the English team for the semi finals.

I'm afraid it wasn't a good performance by Milan not only in offense but also in defense. They just couldn't hold off Udinese attackers good enough and Udinese had a really solid day at the same time. They were very successful at benefiting from their shots on target. Milan could have answered in the same way at least. But I don't see the same productivity in scoring goals recently.

This inconsistent season can cost them their Champions League ticket as well if they don't pull themselves together in the league.

Dortmund were really incredible against Koln today. That huge victory by 6-1 really tells us something about this season.

They really want this title race until the end of the season. It isn't a thing that we are very familiar with honestly. Because their priority has always been investing into young and skilled players and making a lot of money in their transfers. The league title hasn't been their main target. But now they are seriously going for it. But their job is still really difficult against Bayern Munich. Plus they have a game against each other in Allianz Arena which is very important.

Manchester United's job is easier now after Arsenal have been eliminated in the Europa League. But by saying easier I don't mean they will be very comfortable. There are still challenging teams in the tournament now. Besides if they get past Sevilla their opponent will be one of Sporting and Juventus. I assume it would be Juventus if they play carefully against Sporting.

Manchester United should be able to eliminate this Sevilla as well. Sevilla are far away from even their performance in the previous season.

Chelsea couldn't beat Everton home and added another disappointment to their collection. They should have been able to play better in defense. Even though they got ahead two times they still couldn't prevent a 2-2 draw at the end. Even Everton which are a team in trouble can make difficulties for Chelsea. This is a really bad thing for Chelsea.

I know Chelsea are aimless now but they can at least finish the season at a better position. Because they are at the 10th position which reminds me of a horrible season they got many years ago.
