What happened? I'm traveling starting tomorrow so I won't be able to listen to the court audio(s) easily. If someone wanted to spend a paragraph to describe it, thank you.

10/20% di margine comprando a circa un dollaro il GH? Che calcoli hai fatto? Smiley
303  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: July 07, 2014, 03:43:47 PM
The address that burned is listed in the court documents and you can see on Google street view that it did in deed burn in the fall of 2013 and is now boarded up.
It would be if a report concluded that the house burned because of a tank of gas and not for an electric something.
I mean, in Italy it happens all the time.

Well it says in the court documents that he was from December 10th to April 17th.
What documents are those? In the schedules?

From his linkedin profile:

Chief Marketing Officer
HashFast Technologies
dec 2013 – jul 2014 (8 months) San Francisco, CA

Looks like that he never was the CFO Cheesy
305  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: July 07, 2014, 07:12:51 AM
My question:

"What citizenships does Eddie hold, and has somebody confiscated his passports yet?"
Tim Wong, with HK citizenship, was the CFO in charge and should be responsible for the "millions of dollars unaccounted for".
Is there a police report about Edward's house fire? Because it looks perfectly like what the mafia would do to push him to deliver something to someone before everyone else.
And you know everything else, push them on their "core competences" until when they contradict so much that they will laugh at themselves. It should take like three questions.

And if Barber doesn't show up you should call it a joke and do something to have him there/refuse to proceed without him.

The creditor's meeting is where representatives of the company will be questioned under oath.
I'm sure that you have a really good list of questions ready. I just hope it not to yet be another farse like the last one. Will we have a copy of their answers?
307  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: July 06, 2014, 10:50:09 PM
yes if you follow this thread its 1 month late. Here you get the news instantly
The only news we are getting in real time is what it's published on pacer. So basically nothing. I don't like this silence, but hey, we should be used to it by now.

Le foto della board assomigliano al reference design, dai. Quindi 2.5TH in tutto?
Che ritorno prevedi per quel prezzo per GH? Perchè io non lo vedo come un gran investimento.
309  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: July 06, 2014, 09:08:59 PM
1 month later? Meh...
310  Local / Progetti / Re: [PROGETTO AMBIZIOSO] Miners factory in Italia on: July 06, 2014, 07:57:54 PM
311  Local / Progetti / Re: [PROGETTO AMBIZIOSO] Miners factory in Italia on: July 06, 2014, 07:20:57 PM
Scusa, non penso di aver capito. L'IP del chip è tuo? Processo?
0.35J/GH a chip level è un risultato da leading edge.
312  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashCoins Hardware Owners Thread on: July 06, 2014, 10:41:25 AM
Take a pic of the board and post it here. The more detailed it is, the better. Take it from the top. Then we will be able to tell what revision it is.

So the only thing left for us to do is to wait and hope for the committee to pull some magic tricks out of the hat. Did LB join the committee as an observer as it was proposed during one of the latest hearings?
314  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: July 03, 2014, 07:42:43 AM

When will we mere mortals have access to those documents provided to the committee at 5pm the day before the hearing?

We just need enough for a conviction of one of their inner circle. Then they will talk, and a lot of value will be recovered. It's not improbable at all.

It costs money to see but according to the Pacer FAQ, if your total Pacer costs for the quarter are less than $15 you won't be charged.
And if you used inforuptcy, where I'm already paying for almost everything, reading would be free.

I agree, If I do not recieve 100% of my inital investment I would like to see simon barber and his team do time in jail.

Old but still valid:

Problem is actually raising the problem to the relevant authority, one case came close and was dismissed. To the point hashfast then boasted about it on their site, twitter and Facebook.
Legally wise they could be sitting on this datacenter without anyone knowing, raking in the money and when the time comes it will amount to a small fee that they can pay off with the equipment that we bought last year and they know this.
The justice system just seems to slow and nothing seems to be progressing with hashfast.
What we need to find out is what will it take to get hashfast to get their act together. They have no chance with credibility anymore but they do need to sort out what is actually going on.
7 more days until another failed delivery!
The case was not dismissed, a lawyer just replied to a criminal agency's inquiry.    If you write to the AG and detail out your experience (and it is similar to others) where representatives of HashFast lied to induce your purchase (ie.  they gave you a solid delivery date that the AG can prove was impossible) then it is fraud.    They are now selling the chips that pre-orders paid for and not providing refunds.   that can be considered fraud too.   Include where you made the payment so the AG can demand that HF provide proof of where you money went after it was sent.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, you have NAMES to address your complaint at the AG's office to.    The lawyers that sent the first inquiry were:

Public Inquiry Unit, Attention: Kimberly Christophersen, Lupe Zinzun, J. Bryan

These people are already familiar with HF and their lawyer's response so when more complaints come in telling a similar story, they will realize this is fraud and will push harder.

Draw your own conclusions.
We need a penal case to have a chance to recover that money. (thinking about VMC reselling HF batch 1 boards, they should have rather sinked them in the ocean since that the goal was to make space for their new evo boards).
320  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: June 28, 2014, 10:47:56 AM
I think it is obvious that they don't want to sell the chips before they're worthless. The question is what kind of weird game they're playing. Maybe they just need time to hide the tracks.
They are already worthless, and you should know better than everyone else. They had almost 6 months to hide tracks, and they have already proved that they are unable to come up with a working cover story (because there can't be one, not because they didn't tried), so how much more time do they need? Are they waiting for a miracle?
