"HashFast may sell inventory consisting of (a) up to a total of 1000 chips (or such larger total number as the Appearing Creditors may approve in writing), and (b) for up to an aggregate price of $100,000"

$100/chip sounds cheap

This time you are the one being wrong, read the full quote:

Quote
HashFast may sell inventory consisting of (a) up to a total of 1000 chips (or such larger total number as the Appearing Creditors may approve in writing), and (b) for up to an aggregate price of $100,000, hashing boards, with or without imbedded chips (excluding, in the computing the $100,000 limit (or such larger dollar amount as the Appearing Creditors may approve in writing), the price of chips in chip imbedded hashing boards), and other non-chip inventory

The 100k limit is for things other than the asic chips, such as boards (and don't ask me why, the cost of the chip is not computed in the cost of the board).

You should add features that aren't available in the current forum (thanks button, tipping etc)
The "thanks" button is already there (default for xenforo), the tipping function is not there though. I've tried to contact the changetip guys, if they have time to lose for a small market maybe we will get our tipping function Smiley

Tables are also working (both ways, tables on Bitcointalk.org are now synched and not ignored):

The only unfortunate detail is that the mod uses TH as a table header field and SMF does not, so we can't take advantage of that.

Feature request: a link to the original thread/post on this site, when it exists.
Done. It's now possible to switch back to Bitcointalk.org adding "org/" just after bitcointa.lk on the url, or by clicking the ".org Version" button in the footer of some pages (every thread, forum, user page and the home).

(more features and bug fixes coming soon, hopefully)
385  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: May 29, 2014, 11:23:04 AM
Um, they have paid $2500 retainer, not 200k... no wonder you're having difficulty understanding what's going on.
Meh... And I listened to it like five times because I couldn't believe it... Did I won something?
386  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: May 29, 2014, 07:37:59 AM
Alleged debtor my ass. They are paying a $200k retainer to a CRO. How many boards would have they built with that money?

Everything seems to be going on privately, I find it really difficult to understand what's going on.

Wow, no update yet?
6 PM over there and nothing on the damn pacer yet. Meh...
388  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: May 28, 2014, 05:38:07 PM
I'm waiting for the audio to understand what's going on, but I don't like it. The CRO is a bad joke imho. Since that they came out with it, they certainly won't  present their chapter 11 plan today, so they are gonna make us wait until next week for that. What a bad bad bad joke. Thank you HashFast! Much appreciated.

The result won't change, anyway. They can buy time, dissipate assets, but it won't work.

I'm not even sure to understand why we should give a damn about their current cashflow... Composed basically of Pepperming and VMC...
389  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: May 28, 2014, 05:12:25 PM
Judge to adjourn and allow Mr. Sadikis' and group,of creditors to sign off on uses of funds document.  To resume at 3pm today.  May extend to tomorrow.  Referencing documents not in my procession.   Two orders:  1) remain in confidence sources and uses funds documents,  2) group is meeting to review.
Translation please? Who is Sadikis? Can't find him on the creditors list. What is this group reviewing? Funds documents, what's that? A summary of their finances?
390  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: May 28, 2014, 05:00:01 PM
Chief restructuring officer maybe?

What should that guy do exactly? Sleep while everyone else keeps doing whatever they did before?

And "appears to be preparing" means that they won't present their plan today? Meh... Another week lost, yeah...

Founders are also equity holders, as with IPO unitholders.  Our business is about equity growth and not purely a cash business like other offerings on Havelock.  The management needs to have the flexibility to determine how much cash get plowed back into the business to maximize equity value.  If you are more interested in dividend payments vs. equity growth, then this is not the right investment for you, nor if you cannot handle any intrinsic risk of investing in early stage startups.

Abram's prior experience with Hashfast although brief has been invaluable with regards to avoiding past mistakes in this industry, implementing proper business practices, and better understanding the market, and nothing to do with his other experiences whatsoever.
I find it hard to believe that people can actually write such an amount of BS in such a restrained amount of space.

I will start with a really simple question: If you are looking to raise $4M, where are you incorporated?
392  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: May 28, 2014, 12:28:19 AM
There was no work on a Scrypt ASIC whatsoever.
Hey Fred! So, what is the second chip about? ("We have two chips in development which are going to scream").

If as you said before you are not working on a lower node gen, but you guys have a 28nm sha in progress (and that is the first chip), what's the deal with the second one?

John said back at BTC conference @ Singapore that you were "already putting resources" into the lower node gen.

Yes, XenForo doesn't support tables by default, however there are some mods for it. I will implement it in a few days, along with almost everything what was proposed here (that I delayed for a lack of time) Wink

Attention Please:

Victims of bankrupt bitcoin miner company Hashfast will recognize Abram Kottmeier in Bliss Devices' promotional youtube video. Kottmeier is linked to male prostitution in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as to a hardcore pornography company specializing in extreme torture-like abuse porn. Be very careful with this company.  I wouldn't touch anything having to do with Kottmeier with a 10 meter pole.

For more information, read up in the main Hashfast thread in the bitcoin mining hardware section.

Why wasn't this information in the prospectus?  Havelock has to take a look into this.
Because you wouldn't pay them a dime if you knew it.

Abram Kottmeier is not the only ex HF employee adopted by this new "company".

Where is BlissDevices incorporated?
397  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: May 27, 2014, 06:27:07 PM
I keep having the same dream; they spent everything in development and tapeout costs. BlissDevices isn't incorporated anywhere (at least anywhere I could find with a fast search), yet they have simulations numbers for their ASIC.  Maybe they are really only reselling HF's.

Anyway, we will soon find out.

Edit, they are trying to raise $4M because they can't pay for the tapeout costs, so the dream actually is a dream. It's still to be seen how they paid for the IP, though.
398  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: May 27, 2014, 04:17:30 PM
http://blissdevices.com/contact/

I couldn't help myself not noticing similarities... Location, Michael Ramos (previously at HF), Website, ToS...
Who wants to bet that (somehow) we will find a relationship between the two companies, like our money used to tapeout their asic?

Also, PG is gonna like this face: http://youtu.be/LLrQ40qUegg?t=4m26s

"Shipping October 2014". I registered blissdevices.org just in case.
399  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: May 26, 2014, 11:13:01 PM
@bkminer, Edward left, full point. There is a vacancy as CEO, probably taken from Simon. Worst case scenario it's their ex CFO, if he hasn't flown back to HK yet. You are confusing things Wink

@btchedge, I doubt they need any help, actually. They are better financed and much more intelligent than I'm. Just take a look at things like the "timeline" and you will figure out yourself a very, very long series of contradictions... So I won't bother them... They have their testimony, their contracts, the statements of Edward that HF was doing just fine financially, the "millions of dollars unaccounted for"... You don't need to resort to our low level gossip (blog, posts, etc) to prove their bad faith. I just really hope that they are gonna be destroyed in no time (and to hear their lawyer saying that he will have to resign, as he promised to (lol, what a low level tactic)).
400  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: May 26, 2014, 07:01:41 PM
Will the creditor's lawyers be able to show something concrete to screw HF during the next hearing? That would do something. Like a 3 minute summary of HF's history of mismanagement and fraud (in perfect "9/11: A Conspiracy Theory" corbett report style). I'm listening to the hearing a second time, and I really don't like how the lies of their lawyer seems like to be effective at convincing the judge that HF is acting in good faith... Destroy them, please.
