981  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 24, 2014, 01:07:54 AM
I wouldn't count upon them having the foresight to impose NDAs on their employees.
Someone told me so.
Don't you see the huge discrepancy between being unable to design a webpage that can be scrolled as every normal webpage can and successfully bringing to market a 28nm ASIC? They can play dumb if they want, but one don't really have to fall for it.

Btw, we keep missing what they post on facebook: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjDF0tq5r28
982  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 23, 2014, 08:06:09 PM
The point is that they burned the trust of the community completely. They can't do preorders anymore. They have to sell in stock hardware. My guess is that they will arrive to that point, but it will take some time.

Cointerra, on the other side, can keep selling preorders for mid year deliveries while no one is really complaining. Add the money that they will get from the preorders for their next generation and wonder why the hell HF decided to screw their clients entirely...

I'm not sure to understand what you are saying, sorry.

(i can't even scroll the home page)

They are trying their bests to become insolvent.
985  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: February 23, 2014, 11:16:02 AM
The judge would laugh at CT in court over this.
Quote
YOU AND COINTERRA ARE AGREEING TO GIVE UP ANY RIGHTS TO LITIGATE CLAIMS IN A COURT OR BEFORE A JURY

So, December should be completed, what happened to January and February batches?
986  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 22, 2014, 09:41:53 AM
Erin has a lucrative career ahead of her as an expert witness testifying against Hashfast.  Any folks who are suing really should seek her out.  I'm sure she has quite a tale to share.
It would be interesting to hear the tale, but between the nda that she signed and everything else i don't really think it to be viable... (hey Erin, if you disagree just send me an email, my_nickname_here@gmail.com).

About John "leaving" only because he is not on that page anymore... Seriously?
Edit: people PMed me saying that he really left... Wut?
987  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 21, 2014, 09:05:49 PM
It's interesting that they decided not to sell to the little customer anymore (BJ), and are now targeting only 6000$+ purchases.

In case it's relevant to anyone, the email address "erin@hashfast.com", now insta-bounces. I guess she left (forgive me if this is old news).
When was the last email you sent that wasn't bounced?
Anyway her linkedin profile now says "Seeking dynamic position within a well organized & professional atmosphere". So yes, she "left". Good catch.

Have to wonder what's going on with John gone, and HF-Engineer Phil suddenly not posting in the tech thread as of 6 days ago.
John left?

For a bit of background, here is the most interesting thing we have about "Erin HashFast":

Another topic was the possibility of refunds and John was pretty specific that if refunds do happen they will be full refunds in the currency the order was paid in (BTC in BTC, USD in USD). Please note that I have not requested a refund and have no plans to do so at this point.
Thanks for coming in!
-Erin

If MtGox is really insolvent remember that Peter Vessenes still has $5.3 million of it's customers money.

I've spent some time today reading most of the lawsuits that this lovely Peter Vessenes (chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation) is involved with (CoinLab, Alydian, BitInvestment).
It makes HashFast or Butterfly Labs look like child's play.

It's possible not to say probable that a new PCB will give (gave?) them an increased boost in performances, just like KNC did and CT is in the process of. They are marketing 2TH +- 20%, that is 1.6TH at the lowest range. Just a bit over their current sierra.
993  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 20, 2014, 04:15:09 PM
I was just assuming because i've never cared about anything but batch 1... And it looks like that i was assuming wrong.

Quote
(d) Guaranteed Product Delivery Dates – Batch 3. The “Batch 3 Guaranteed Delivery Date” for units of Product from Hashfast’s third production batch is: March 31, 2014. The order confirmation sent by Hashfast to Buyer may state an earlier delivery date for that order. Buyer may cancel the portion of the order that remains undelivered by Hashfast by the Batch 3 Guaranteed Delivery Date (or other delivery date stated in Buyer’s order) at Buyer’s request, and Hashfast will refund the payment for such cancelled units. This cancellation and refund is Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy for Hashfast failing to deliver by a specific date. To avail itself of this remedy, Buyer must cancel the order before such unit(s) are delivered by Hashfast.
http://hashfast.org/Terms_of_Sale/25_November_2013

That's the only reference i have.

Btw, their Terms of Sale are still offline, after one whole day... Who wants to buy from them with a "i accept your terms of sales" tickbox that leads to the only broken page of their website?
994  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: February 20, 2014, 12:01:27 AM
It's not a 20% tax on incoming wires. It's a 20% withhold.

You can get rid of it with a simple self-certification. (they already have the modules).
995  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 19, 2014, 10:54:45 PM
I was almost going to speculate with my 2 TB disks (i bought dozens of them because i needed them) after the 2011 Thailand floods, but i've never seen anyone making 3500$ in a month with 2 TB.

TH guys, TH.

(sorry, i had nothing better to say Smiley)
996  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 19, 2014, 02:46:23 PM
Yes, companies building bitcoin printing machines and not shipping them on time after having proved to have the "tech ready" are probably low on cash.

Legend, the deadline for refunds for batch 3 is the 15th of March.
997  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 19, 2014, 11:49:34 AM
That's a good news, thanks for sharing.

Edit, it looks like that their ToS are offline.

998  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 18, 2014, 10:41:15 AM
I'm undecided. I've not received it, so should we call it the update at last after 50 days of radio silence?
Btw, i must be really dumb, because i really expected them to ship the MPP sometime between batch 2 and 3.
999  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: February 18, 2014, 12:19:27 AM
The product is a nonsense. The pricing model is a nonsense.

Please will buy into it.
1000  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: February 17, 2014, 08:37:00 PM
From legal standpoint you can bring suit to either entity.
Did that...

I'm not the only one that doesn't have any idea of where HashFast Technologies Inc is incorporated, right? I also don't know of the existence of other "matryoshka" companies...
