So, it has been 9 days since HashFast last updated us telling us "We’ve Started Shipping!". It would be nice for an official update of some sort... such as, have you shipped more than the first 2 units... and when the hell will the rest of them ship? You are starting to become worse than BFL with your shitty customer service.

There wont be any updates until their 15. Jan deadline has passed.

And after that they will decide that they can take a few more weeks to update us.
1242  Local / Mining (Italiano) / Re: ASIC si ma quale?? on: January 10, 2014, 04:37:19 PM
Ho già risposto qualche post fa.. Cointerra 2nd gen, io butterei qualche soldo lì appena aprono i preordini.
Yeah!

Then everyone will complain it's overpriced.  Obviously if you have something in hand that nobody has ordered you won't sell it for less than it's expected to generate.

1.  Collect a bunch of pre-order money to pay for NRE, down payments on equipment/component purchases, down payments to foundries, other up-front costs, data center equipment.

2.  Get 1 million chips made

3.  Make and ship 100,000 fancy, pretty miners to pre-order customers.
3a.  OPTIONAL:  Trickle out the customer miners while you "test" them on your data center/mining pool.

4.  Sell  500,000 chips for hefty profit.
EDIT:  4a.  Sell a few on-hand pretty miners "off the shelf" for nice profit, but less than generating potential, to earn your PR merit badge.

5.  Make the rest of the chips into low-cost, no-frills, no-case, miners for your own self - mine like 14 motherfuckers in the nice data center that the pre-order money built.

6.  Bite your tongue while everybody wonders why the hashrate goes up.

7.  Profit

I wonder how customers successfully winning legally against the n companies behind this fits into this (draft of) a plan. Maybe it doesent. Maybe customers stand a canche only because they failed to make a workable PCB by the end of the year, only because they were 2 weeks late. God blesses those difficult PCB.

HF, looking forward for some sweet marketing announcement from your side, its starting to getting boring here.

There is a difference between supposing something (I've started to think it when I first read "senior", I wrote about it at the time) and knowing it for sure. Thanks, perezoso.
1245  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 09, 2014, 07:41:21 PM
So, was I completely right?  Grin
1246  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 09, 2014, 06:56:01 PM
I really wish you a nice time, tmcgough.

matthewh3, if that was true, it won't be easy to prove. We dont even know what's the company that has the IPs, the contract with the fab, etc... There will be a lot of work to do.
1247  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 09, 2014, 03:57:39 PM
cedivad I used to have respect in you but lately you have just become a big baby.
Stopped reading here.

You said "no, you are wrong, they are actually issuing BTC refunds".

Enjoy your time away from this mess.
1248  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 09, 2014, 03:48:06 PM
Ok, since that you are not a troll, and you are a batch 1 customer that acknowledges the list of lies of HF (because you can't deny them), why were you trolling us, saying they were issuing BTC refunds?

I have better things to do today...
1249  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 09, 2014, 03:36:14 PM
That is not true, I talked to them yesterday and they said most of the refunds are being sent in BTC.
But what amount of BTC? The amount of BTC one paid for an order? Or the USD adjusted rate?

90% troll/puppet, don't lose your time.

They have to support what will be their useless maginot line, after all.
1250  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 09, 2014, 03:15:36 PM
definitifely not HF, they don't have a working product.
Luke, Icedrill and a their new PCB rev. might disagree with you.
1251  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 09, 2014, 03:05:39 PM
@Easy2Mine, what makes you think that they didn't created that PR ad hoc to make you think that they don't have the money / that kind of BS?
1252  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 09, 2014, 02:37:04 PM
Thanks for sharing - emailed the journalists. Too bad that they are able to reach them before we do.

So, anyone accepting bets on the ownership of the 4PH that just hit the network?

1253  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 09, 2014, 11:30:48 AM
Ok, I was not aware of the context of that statement. The statement itself can still be interpreted in several ways [...]

Given those points, it's evident that if Simon didn't actually promised full Bitcoin refunds with his answer (since that this is open to interpretation), he at least tried to pursue his customers into believing that if such refunds where to be issued, they would have been of the same Bitcoin amount.
1254  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 09, 2014, 08:15:31 AM
Find meìa connection between BFL and HashFast (however indirect).

Josh and john hanging out like old friend @ BTC conference Amsterdam, and Josh defending HF while accusing KNC that will certainly be late and not ship until months.

HashFast, claims to have started shipping its ultra-fast Baby Jet rigs in late December (although customers say the company is past due on its shipments).

That's only thanks to us. I should write her back asking for a link.
1256  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 09, 2014, 01:14:20 AM
Them are sleek bastards!!!

You know what? I took precautions. I always do.

https://web.archive.org/web/20140108220230/http://workpetaluma.com/people/erin/

I would suggest HashFast to start removing everything that matches anything related to them online, since that i already have a copy of it on my pc, and some of them on web.archive.org as well.

Cheesy

Enjoy HashFast!
1257  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Here's a looooooooooooook at you Monarch on: January 09, 2014, 01:11:00 AM
I think that BFL is good at printing pretty PCBs with "prototype" on it so that they get the attention of the press.
It is a ball of smoke.
Do you remember HashFast high precision PCBs? Black PCBs made of 3d printed plastic? LOL, i've yet to add them to my wiki, but yet, amazing.

glendali, apart from the fact that blaming userselves doesn't help, i would have never ordered without this:
https://hashfast.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Project-Status-Report-Tapeout_08292013.jpg

(and i'm quite sure that there was another one were Uniquify was confident that they would have had the chips ready in October, but i was never able to find it a second time. It disappeared after that i ordered. However i think to have a pretty good memory. If someones has this same memory and maybe knows were to look - thanks).

Took me 30 seconds (maybe 45): http://workpetaluma.com/people/erin/
Thanks, but you could have taken even less if you scrolled the page Smiley
What do you think about Erin Havard vs Erin Mae? One is used on the video, the other one on the gmail address and in another occasion a really friendly user pm-ed me about.

But as long as what you say is right, there's nothing they can do.
That's the point, if you make even a single mistake, you risk the whole case against HF, imho.

Bruno, yes, you are right, but i wasn't talking about it. I was talking about HF_CL and santaMourte both:
using distorted names to refer to Edward
using some spanish word and/or dialect

Btw, this is the complete name from the SEC fillings, with the full and complete names of the people you would want to sue:
