hashfast.com was registered 2 days later, yes, and that's interesting.
What's even more interesting is that it was registered by Edward.

They created the "team" in 2 days?

Btw, i've lost the post where the problems with the first sierra received by IceDrill were described. I can't find it in the IceDrill thread, at least. Someone has it? Thanks.

But... Poor startup can't do anything to help us, and you can clearly see that they are doing their best for the best interests of their customers!

(ironic, so that this post doesn't gets used against me)
I know, the harsh light of your hypocrisy is bright and blindingly painful. You'll get over it.
Once that i will have my money back and/or made a company to close and sent a few people in prison yes, i will get over it.

You are a lucky guy, Josh.

I finally see it.

Poor BFL,
Poor HF,

Please tell me your donation address.
1145  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 17, 2014, 04:38:15 PM
Ugh.. now hashfast's website has disappeared. Did they turn the lights off and leave?
Edit: back up .. apparently.. strange. There was a redirect to 'https://old.hashfast.com' and it said something about 'tinkering'
Works fine for me.   must be your internet.

Best moment in a while.

So I don't get it.  Is Amy spending her time manually assembling and tweaking a Sierra every few days and then sending it to DeadTerra?

This seems like a pathetic use of her time if the company's objective here is to actually ship. (yeah, yeah, I know)

Vocabulary Correction Notice

Wrong:  de (or De) Castro, Edward (or Eduardo)
Right: Rodriguez De Castro, Eduardo

Wrong: Refund Check.
Right:  Attempted Buy Out (ABU)

Wrong: [Golden] Nonce: Not On Normal Communal Exercise, albeit obviously they're not playing well with others.
Right: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=nonce (sometimes, you just can't make this shit up)

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/nonce

(since that the guardian journalist didn't know it, maybe someone else doesn't either)

Look, they talk about HF... (commented and sent email).
1149  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 17, 2014, 11:49:43 AM
HashFast is just incompetent, from the start.

HF: we are gonna ship in October!
CUSTOMERS: great, this explains your overpriced products.
HF/UNIQUIFY: we completed the tapeout. Everything is going according to the plan, and we will be shipping in October.
ME: ok, i'm buying, there is nothing that can go wrong at this stage, if they completed the tapeout and they are still in line to ship in October!
FAB: but the contract you have with us states that we will be able to deliver your wafers middle november, best case scenario!
HF: what did you say? i didn't understood it, i'm just plain incompetent. What is a wafer anyway? I don't need it before November if i need to ship in October, right?
1150  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 16, 2014, 07:48:41 PM
The offer of buy out cheques is just a delaying tactic. The cheques may be bad, and then the wrangling about why will cause more delays.

PURE GENIUS

I think i will let HF doing his job here for a few days.
1151  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 16, 2014, 07:04:35 PM
And you would do that basing on the informations given to you by an internet troller?
1152  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 16, 2014, 07:00:34 PM
Wait, people running bitcoin scams that moves the money in FIAT in a fiscal paradise?

Something must have gone completely wrong along the road.
1153  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 16, 2014, 05:27:36 PM
The difference between HF and BFL is that someone (that was said to cover a high level position, but it was naturally denied) at BFL already spent some good time in jail so they made sure not to repeat the same mistakes again.

The guy was in prison in Italy, i wonder how is it possible that he negotiated a reduction of the sentence thanks to Italia.  Grin

(i'm not sure i remember this correctly, it has been over a year ago).

many angry customers
several arbitration proceedings being filled (and several is not the plural of seven, no [what is the plural of a number anyway?])
a few lawsuits
a couple of happy cofounders and a marketing guy
another marketing guy that think to have finally a job that qualifies his qualities

and everyone else shitting bricks.

and not even an update in 15 days, while we were expecting 4.

(HashFast in a few lines)

What can we talk about next? TerraHashes?
1156  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 16, 2014, 04:50:31 PM
A judge won't decide who's wrong or right in the case you outline, they will just issue a default judgement, which is what happened.

Ok, you are right. Yet to failed to show up, and you should have received some certified mail that notified you of what was gonna happen. Right? So how is it possible that you didn't show up by accident?

Maybe they sued the wrong BFL? Like HF that already has at least 3 different companies?
1157  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 16, 2014, 04:43:53 PM
Hey Josh,

Care to share how is it possible that someone sues you and you don't receive the proper paperwork to be there when a judge will decide if they are wrong or right?
1158  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 16, 2014, 03:48:12 PM
Really? Now they are asking customers to just straight up give them direct access to their wallets.  I suppose it would save a lot of time and effort in donating to BFL.

Hardware Wallet Protection Plan (HWPM): you will get the USD eq back if your wallet gets hacked, in a non better defined moment in the future (but after the first of February 2014 (that email if someone remembers it)) and only if the BTC price goes up 10 times in the meanwhile.
1159  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: January 16, 2014, 03:44:00 PM
I think that they were completely legit problems, it doesn't make a lot of sense not to ship if you can and if your customers have that contract in hand.

They simply solved it during the first days of the year, as they said it would happen during the last communications we had from them or so.
