Even the ToS are clear enough. Refund the payment. Payment: 100% BTC. Easy enough.
1182  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 15, 2014, 06:15:37 AM
The draft can easily be construed as a partial refund if it does not clearly state on the draft itself for refund in full.

1183  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 15, 2014, 06:09:45 AM
To Me it sounds like they may have just royally screwed themselves and sent you guys a whole bunch of money to pay your Attorney with to get your BTC back... Wouldn't that be ironic  Shocked
You know what's is ironic? My hidden abilities to detect sockpuppets, that are ironic.

Yes everyone, please cash out the check to pay for your lawyer. Moare BTC for me.

Btw, when my lawyer said not to do so, i've answered him that i'm stupid, yes, but not that stupid. So let's see who falls for it.

Re: people who requested a USD refund that paid with USD and they have yet to receive it, good luck with that contract you signed.

So later batches are likely to get the very same treatment.

I really want to see if they have the courage to expose themselves to that kind of legal procedures for the following batches as well. If they do so it means that we are all stupid, and that there is something like 1% of the customers requesting a proper refund.
1184  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 14, 2014, 11:35:35 PM
If we want to keep spending time on useless things, North America is not a continent. It's a sub-continent.

So, to recap:

Sent only to BTC customers.
Sent if you requested a refund and/or if you didn't (which one?) (this conflicts with the wording of the mail, that states that it's a follow up to the refund you requested).

Who has data conflicting with those two points?
1185  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 14, 2014, 11:23:44 PM
AFAIK Canada is in North America which IMO makes them American too.
This speaks more to your education than to the point at hand.   Refunds are NOT confined to US citizens or residents.   So, let's figure out if they are confined to Batch I.
Is there anyone in Batch 2 through 4 that is happy with the latest turn of events? Or are you just waiting your turn?

Whats your game plan Batch 2 through 4 customers?
The current plan is to drive to SF later this week and knock on as many of their doors as I have addresses for.

1186  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 14, 2014, 11:17:59 PM
Just got an illumination - what about proving that they sent the check only to BTC customers and not USD ones? Naturally, if they send it to USD customers tomorrow, it's still too late.

You could be proving, like if we needed it, that they think BTC customers to deserve a different treatment than USD customers.

Win.

(now, how to prove this? Uhm...)
1187  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 14, 2014, 10:58:37 PM
Protip: if you send a refund letter to all of your BTC customers at the same point in time starting from SF it will take more time to reach the old continent rather than the USA or CA.

Just saying.
1188  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: January 14, 2014, 10:56:02 PM
They're mining with our equipment and I can prove it.

Ok. I'm listening. I'm also accepting suggestion on how to prove that HF is mining with my machines, since that and i don't have many ideas other than issuing subpoenas to every possible supplier of HF. (public note: i'm not claiming HF to be mining with my machines).

I don't think i should add useless content to the thread, but yet... Boring.
I don't have signed any NDA, i don't have received a refund, and i paid the full price, mine wasn't a bulk order. Oh, yes, and you are selling an in hand product for 900$. Maybe you are this new to this community not to know the difference?
1191  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 14, 2014, 08:54:57 PM
The point is much easier. They promised, via their tos and their words, to give BTC refunds. Now they are trying to issue USD ones. As they know, they can only win it if their customers are fool enough to accept it.

Once that their customers will force them to issue what they promised, they will either pay, find an agreement (like hardware), or close business.

And i think that many anticipates to start penal procedures if everything else fails. Just because it would be fair and again, we have enough data to support it.
1192  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 14, 2014, 08:31:11 PM
how far do you think it is from the bulk order point for boards direct from HF?  It's not that far.

So you are claiming that HF is selling in hand hardware, 550 GH of it (that should be the final figure per board, to anyone interested), at 900$.

Protip: next time that you do a scam, make the pricetag realistic.
1193  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 14, 2014, 08:17:23 PM
Ok, we are back to the icebreaker levels. It means that news are incoming!  Kiss

Sorry guys, we can't ship batch 2 as well. Here is your USD refund. Enjoy.

1195  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 14, 2014, 08:03:39 PM
Just a quick question. If hashfast converted the btc he received for payment into USD then how is he supposed to pay back the same btc at todays rates. For example, lets say he received 8 million in payments and half of that was Btc, to pay back half of that at todays rates would mean he now owes everyone 40 million in btc.

Answer: They could just give us what they promised to give us when they took our money. Something like that. Everything else is a fraud.

1196  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 14, 2014, 07:39:03 PM
They will use that to argument in court they were complying with the FTC rules.
You mean, like they did in October, right? Cheesy

They don't stand a chance and they know it. Maybe i should offer them a 5% discount if they decide to settle their debit before the arbitration. 5%, got it? Cheesy
1197  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 14, 2014, 07:34:42 PM
I used the "report to a moderator button for that post that only included that link, since that it's the second time that it's linked, he tried to advertise it via PM to me as well, etc.

So it's 99% a poor level scam.
1198  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 14, 2014, 06:18:14 PM
This is a really interesting detail.

They are trying to buy people who bought with BTC because they have that liability, but they don't give a duck about people who bought via USD, while i was supposing that they tried to reimburse them as well to have the hardware for themselves and not have to ship it. So it means that they are not gonna ship anytime soon.

At least following this line of tough.

Ready and happy to be proved wrong.
1199  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] BTCGarden hardware - U.S. distribution 0.03Btc/Gh/s **IN HAND** on: January 14, 2014, 04:08:25 PM
Good luck with what will come out of HF and CT fabs in the next weeks Smiley

(no blame for the prices, since that it's in hand hardware, but let's say that it's like AM in hand hardware, it will never return in the investment. Nothing against it, off course, always better than what i'm losing with HF).
1200  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 14, 2014, 09:13:29 AM
Btw.v2 be advised that we don't know if faxes sent to those numbers (the one in the refund letter/check) are ok to send a written communication of failed delivery/refund.

And Btw.v3, i got up to study and i ended up laughing the whole time. Thanks HF.
