Bitcoin can definitely have a future.

But I agree that 2020 and 2021 won't be good.

About the bottom in February 2021, we will see. But after that, it could be a new cycle, it could take a while but 2023-2026 could be epic if we repeat the bull run of 2017, with of course a much higher high than 19k. This game is for patient people.

You stretched it too much. I dont believe it will take that long.

If we are going to see 2k, it will be next year, not 2021.

Also, sgbear will make a three-digit prediction for 2050 if we reach 2k in 2021. I dont see bitcoin having a future with three digits, it would be the victory of the fiat system, which is what every bear wants.
302  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving 2020 prediction on: November 29, 2019, 03:09:35 PM
Too many six-digit predictions. Too many one million predictions. Too many theories pointing that bitcoin will repeat the previous cycle. But the previous cycle didnt repeat the cycle before it.

I believe we are still to see the shaking that happened in the second half of 2015. Contrary to what I believed before, the cycle is stretched, not shrunk. 2011-2013 was two years, 2013-2017 was four years. Who knows, maybe this cycle will have six years.

I believe Masterluc prediction is on point. We are going to see $1000-$1200 after the halving, and the next ATH will only happen in 2021. A bull market like 2017 will only happen in 2023.
youre right on that , and there are known people who just predicted bitcoin price going to skyrocket but the question is if they knew bitcoin will reach thier prediction why they arent buying? Why bitcoin price drops instead of going up because of thier predictions.

Most of the people doing these predictions are millionaires. Some are even owners of exchanges.
I believe they are doing these predictions so that people dont lost interest in bitcoin, and keep buying it from their hands.
They are the ones who are shorting it.

New ATH only in 2021.
305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a sign of the next Bitcoin bull run? Or just another bull trap? on: November 27, 2019, 01:18:58 PM
For me its all bull trap unless the price is above $12k.
306  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calling top at $16500 (Even Newer!: $2483 bottom 19 Feb 2021 MtGox said so!) on: November 22, 2019, 09:14:21 PM
I used BSV and it took more than 24 hours to complete a transaction. This was during the chinese bull run (may 2019), when the network was clogged.

Whereas with bitcoin, when it was clogged (december 2017), didnt took more than 6 hours.

Someone might argue its because BSV dont have enough miners, but then, it have less users as well.

I sold some BSV for LTC through Okex.

They wouldn't release the LTC until there were 200 BSV confirmations which took about 2-3 days of waiting.

Coin of the future I tells ya and superb endorsement of its peerless security.

In my case it took more than 24 hours for the first confirmation. I sold it for BTC.

China FUD in 2019. Great.

309  Economy / Speculation / Re: No need to PANIC! on: November 22, 2019, 02:55:29 PM
Holders panic today and sell

The price took me by surprise. I told the ones predicting this that they are wrong. Woah.
But no, holders don't sell. Only some investors and (many) traders have sold.
Holders remember that the price was not long ago 3300$

But then, holders dont visit this forum too much.
I dont come here every day, and I barely talk about bitcoin with anyone.

But what about those who check the price each hour?
Will they hold when bitcoin falls to 2k?

How can you call your investment "long term" if you check the price every time?
310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict Bitcoin! on: November 19, 2019, 02:55:07 PM
7.2k until the end of this month, and between 5.2 and 6.8k at the end of the year.
311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Cycles - why 560k might be wrong! on: November 18, 2019, 09:02:59 PM
The only ever valuable utility they served was that they made Bitcoin holders richer by allowing them to sell fork coins for Bitcoins.

Dont know about you, but I usually call forked coins "dividends".
312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Devastating signal: bear market, 6.4k support, 12.4 resistance on: November 18, 2019, 08:23:03 PM
Market looks bearish right now.

There is a spam of threads talking about six digits.
The more I see of these threads, the more I'm convinced we will have six months of a secondary bear market.

Yep. Bearish or +- stable until end of 2020. If big run happens won't be before end of 2020.

Actually, its the same thing.
Bearish does not always means it is going down to three digits or some other apocalyptic scenario. It can also means a hybernation: the price tanks between 5k and 8k, for several months, and thats it.
People expecting six digits next year will sell out of impatience.

Why do you use the BLX index?
315  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Cycles - why 560k might be wrong! on: November 15, 2019, 04:43:03 PM
Actually sgbear is into BSV, not BCH.
316  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2019 Cryptocurrency (Elliott Wave) on: November 13, 2019, 02:14:41 PM
People who buy into BTC now, a 10 year old technology (when was the last time you invested heavily into 56k modems? must be aware that this can be a decade long falling knife. Just be aware that this can happen, I remember when BTC was $430 in April of 2016, it was not long ago, and nothing has changed fundamentally since then quite the contrary, as competition is catching up.

Facebook is 10 year old, if not more. Google is even older than facebook. Apple and Microsoft are from the 80s.
And still people invest in these companies, they have a huge market. And the improvements in their products can be compared to improvements in bitcoin code.

319  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Could Make Bitcoin Drop To $5? on: November 11, 2019, 01:52:46 PM
You jumping in a time machine and departing to 2011.
320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is BTC now ~$8,780? Simple... on: November 10, 2019, 11:48:02 AM
Miners are the biggest whales, because they create bitcoin from electrical power. They need to distribute it, hence why the price tanks between the crash and the halving.
