1241  Economy / Speculation / Re: 17 april 2018 Bitcoin stop to fall on: April 07, 2018, 06:30:44 PM
I'm pessimistic about it.

They said the same about the chinese new year, and the price fell even after that.

1242  Economy / Speculation / Re: John eat-a-dick | Will he or won’t he? | ? Bitcoin price December 31 2020 on: April 07, 2018, 01:28:33 PM
I prefer the prediction by the XAPO guy. 1 million by 2027.

2020 will probably see the price of 100k, after the next halvening.

This is a lot of money for those entering the market now. More than 10x the current price.

You have to aim for realistic priorities. This lambo meme is for the whales only.
1243  Economy / Speculation / Re: PEAK MISERY (TM) on: April 07, 2018, 01:37:36 AM
I prefer it going to $800 and then 2k and swinging for a time between this and 12k, then this boring 6k.

Yes, this boredom is horrible. I cant stand it. I check it everyday and its around the same price.

Too many bears out of the caves... so many bears, the market is now congested with these big, fat, furry bears, shorting and buying bitcoin all at the same time.

And while bulls always run together, bears operate alone, so they backstab each other constantly.
1244  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price flatlined over the last 20 hours - manipulation evidence? on: April 07, 2018, 01:09:45 AM
They said they would "tame" bitcoin.

And futures markets always do that to assets it tries to exert control.

But then some denier will say theres no BTC volume in futures. It dont need to, they buy it through hedge funds in the usual BTC exchanges. They bought it in massive quantities in November and December, and since the market is fragile and 10% of the total supply can move it, they are manipulating the price to go sidelines.

It can also be the effect of bear congestion. Too much bears buying and shorting at the same time, which neutralize the bull traps and make the price go sidelines.

1245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 07, 2018, 12:47:26 AM
Pretty sure the reason why the price is crashing is due to people like this

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/8adxnh/need_a_serious_advice_should_i_take_out_a_private/

There is probably many of these situations where people borrowed money to buy crypto or mining equipment and will panic sell and cause market to go even lower.

Loans to buy crypto should be illegal.
1246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 07, 2018, 12:42:26 AM
Four or five years ago I read a prediction, in prophetic tones, that a "color revolution" would brew in China around 2018.

1247  Economy / Speculation / Re: I know we all feel sad - let's cry here on: April 06, 2018, 01:17:02 PM
At least the OP is honest.

There are others who are so desperate that they are in a complete denial of the situation, and write titles like "this correction is NORMAL", "bitcoin going UP", "we BULLISH, WHALES news", without any explanation, resorting to superstition - if you say it is going up several times, then its going up. This is a invitation for sadists to prey on their desperation. And the more they post these kind of threads, the more the price go down.

1248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 06, 2018, 04:27:38 AM
Can we stop pretending three months of crash is somehow tied to tax deadlines?

It would be great.

Remember the chinese new year? Everybody saying it would stabilize after that...

1249  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Are now in UP TREND! WHALES news!! on way to 7k+! on: April 06, 2018, 04:23:42 AM
what is up with all these new accounts that keep saying things such as pump, uptrend, bull market, etc.?

Noobs in despair.
1250  Economy / Speculation / Re: A signal of bull market or trap? on: April 06, 2018, 12:57:55 AM
The only way to know is if all of a sudden we are back to 10k. Then the market can resume a upward movement.

Anything below 10k can be a bull trap. Now who will have the courage to buy and discover if the price is a trap or not? We need some millionaires injecting some money into it, since for them any damage will be small.

1251  Economy / Speculation / Re: I know we all feel sad - let's cry here on: April 06, 2018, 12:49:59 AM
The guy from this other thread is much more despaired than you.

For me, I'm fine with the possible opportunity to buy very cheap, even if it is below the last time I bought.

1253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will you stay in crypto if BTC does not recover? on: April 05, 2018, 07:18:38 PM
Its good for me while above 4500 usd.
But i will never stop supporting crypto. we seen same scenario before

Are you all-in into crypto? Did you put all your money into it, even the one to pay bills in the next six months?

If so, you have to decrease your exposure. If not, theres no reason to despair.

Understand that it is necessary we go down. We need better holders in crypto, people who are more careful and dont do things while in panic.

People who didnt join the FOMO train back in November and December will now buy bitcoin. They regarded it as too much expensive, and the rise was too steep. Since they are more careful and fearful for their money, they didnt join in, considering it too much risky.

Now we have a 70% fall, and we have confirmation of the heights bitcoin can achieve. A 90% fall will give certainty of a recovery, even if takes some months. So these people, who are more careful with their investments, will fill in, and the permabears will be rekt when trying to shorting it down to three-digits, which is their real target.

With more careful holders, bitcoin will have a more smooth rise, without too much of those spikes of panic buying.

1254  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening again. Bitcoin price went under $7,000 on: April 05, 2018, 04:42:50 PM
In 2015, the exchange rates had reached a new low of around $200 per coin. The historical peak at that time was $1,231 per coin which was attained in 2013 December. So the prices in 2015 represented a 85% decline from the peak valuation. Going by the same logic, an 85% reduction from the peak in 2017 December ($20,000 per coin) comes to around $3,000 per coin.

4k is already a good point of entry.

There will be a massive bear trap before the price recovers. Until now there is no sign of it.

The bear dream is the three-digit nightmare train. The trap should induce the shorters to keep closing their positions until they get squeezed around the $1,000 area.

They need the bull traps to make a profit, but they will be always shorting, since its not of their nature to hold bitcoin. They dont believe in it, their objective is to accumulate fiat money.

As soon as the bear trap closes, we can resume a upward movement.

Those with spare fiat can take advantage of the moment and buy some.

1255  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 05, 2018, 04:08:09 PM
and please don't ask me why the united nations is a terrorist organization, the child project of those who created the federal reserve...

And there will still be people FUDing about tether printing.

Thats it, central banks can print money from nowhere, covered by nothing, causing inflation and the consequent unemployment and impoverishment, and nobody cares.

But when its tether printing, to pump the price of bitcoin, to make everybody happy, then its a scam, its a fraud, its FUD, its the trolls saying bitcoin will be outlawed and the price will go down.
1256  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 05, 2018, 03:04:30 PM
I don't know why we consider the "India" factor that much in crypto. Indian contribution towards crypto volume is surely not above 2.5% to 3% or so.

Its the denial. They pick some small news in the sidelines to "explain" why the price is dropping.

The same with these rocket gifs. We just had another bull trap and already we see rocket gifs.
1257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Contrarian Investing - speculating bitcoin price on: April 05, 2018, 02:32:08 PM
We are in a bear market and the sentiment is very bearish, ultra-bearish. There is already one user talking about sub-one digit numbers, which is technically impossible, but this is how the sentiment is going. Even me who was predicting 100k by the end of the year had changed opinion and I'm now guessing we will be 10k in December.

The misery index created by Wall Street is on its historical low, surpassing even 2011. We can say for certain that this is the most bearish sentiment the market has ever experimented since bitcoin was created in 2009.

I'm just with the fiat prepared to increase my exposure once we enter the 1-4k area, then I will be buying in small parts until we reach 1k. The biggest parts will be reserved for 1k and 2k. In case we dont reach there and bounce back, there will be no problem for me, since I didnt sell my stash and will be holding until the next halvening and perhaps beyond.
1258  Economy / Speculation / Re: PEAK MISERY (TM) on: April 05, 2018, 12:40:31 AM
Can you believe it? Its worse than 2011.

How they measure this index? Because in 2011 the fall was 94%, more than the 70% of the current crash. Certainly theres more to it than lines in a chart.

1259  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening again. Bitcoin price went under $7,000 on: April 05, 2018, 12:30:18 AM
This is called a "bull trap". You think the price is finally going up, but then it bounces back.

It happened several times this year and it is a indication that we are in a bear market.

The problem is to identify the trap and distinguish it from a real FOMO rocket. One way to identify it is the double bottom, when a resistance is tested in the way down and spikes up two times. However, the double bottom was denied, as the price didnt reach the 8k mark.

Sounds like a ponzi, how will the no-coiners turn a profit when you run out of people to jump on board?

 Shocked Shocked

This will take a long time. We are only 0.5% of world population. Why worry now?
