1182  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price To $36K in 2019 - Expert Research on: May 20, 2018, 11:51:40 PM
Let's hope that it happens.

For now, the price is boring. No ups and downs, no high volatility. Bitcoin is looking like the stock market now.
1183  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 5K? Future price discussion! on: May 18, 2018, 02:09:51 PM
There was a prediction from a guy, two or three months ago, saying the price would fall to 3k by June or July.

If thats the case, I'm going to prepare the fiat to buy.

setting technical analysys aside, if BTC is going to be used as a real coin it's going to end up priced at around the mining costs, which right now are 2000-5000$, depending on the rig you have.

The cost actually is around 13k. As you can see here:

https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/btc?HashingPower=4730&HashingUnit=GH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=1293&CostPerkWh=0.12&MiningPoolFee=1

The Cartel want us to sell, but the system they offer in turn is a failure.

1185  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Reiterates That Bitcoin with get to $1 million MINIMUM by 2020 on: May 15, 2018, 04:33:58 PM
His prediction requires a 20% global adoption, and not just to be used as a store of value, but as a real currency used in daily transactions.

I dont think this will happen in 2020. If it happens, it would be in 2027 or 2028, like in the prediction of the Xapo guy. I say "if" because most people are still State cultists, and I have my doubts that they will ever accept a digital currency as payment, even if the distribution is wider enough for its use.

1186  Economy / Speculation / Re: NYSE parent company may open actual Bitcoin trading on: May 09, 2018, 02:51:36 PM
I remember some months ago NASDAQ had planned futures for the second quarter. We are in the second quarter now, and no news of it.

Actual bitcoin trading would be much better than speculating with papers. They probably had accumulated enough from the weak hands since the December crash. But, different from gold, they dont have most of the supply.
1187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 09, 2018, 02:42:22 PM
Probably they have it split all over thousands of masternodes. I guess that is the main reason the distribution "looks" so good.

In reality, we are comparing oranges to apples here.

I had forgot about the masternodes. Those nodes are a kind of centralization, as only those with a thousand dash coins can set them.

So, bitcoin is the most decentralized currency, if we take that into consideration.
1188  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 09, 2018, 02:11:11 AM
Among top ten crypto-currencies (by market-cap), bitcoin still seems the most decentralized.

% of supply owned by the top 100 accounts, standouts:
- Bitcoin 19%
- Ethereum 35%
- Ripple 98%
- Bitcoin Cash 25%
- Stellar 95%
- IOTA 62%
- NEO 70%

Gotta get rid of my Stellars for sure.

Dash with 14% is the more decentralized, but have less nodes.

Hardware wallets terrify me for some reason.

I would say the same. I dont trust any portable wallet, be it a hardware wallet or a cellphone wallet. I cant say exactly why, I just dont feel safe if I dont have full control, like in a desktop. Maybe its the size of the screen, or the lack of a mouse, or the lack of a copy of the blockchain, I dont know.

There are interesting theories going around about NASA

For example you could fake it, say in greenland, add a red tint to the 'mars' photos. And keep the rest of the budget for other purposes, know what I mean  Wink You know like with the moon landings.

Of course they are fake. Area 51 is off-limits to anyone, and it is in Nevada, which have the same arid soil of Mars. You just take some pictures there and add a red tint, then you have Mars.

Only cuckolds buy the Tether FUD.
1192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 25, 2018, 12:45:58 AM
Some sideways consolidation around $9400 for a few days would be healthy.

I agree. Its going up too fast.
1193  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bulls are back! on: April 24, 2018, 10:59:54 PM
Two accounts sold off over 100 million in BTC yet the price bounced back a day later!

What do you guys think?

I think these two bears will make good rugs for decoration.

1196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC follow the same pattern in February 2018? on: April 24, 2018, 08:38:13 PM
I like your optimism dude. But let's see first if we can get back at $10K levels before we can even talk $12K.

10k was tested several times during the last rise, and 8k was regarded as the user support level for a long time.

What the market was searching for was a bottom, and the bottom was found: it was 6k. It cant go any lower than that, as we had four bottoms already.

I think the price will go straightfoward to the double of the bottom, that is, 12k, then it will try to find a new bottom for consolidation, which, I hope, will be around 10k.
1197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 24, 2018, 07:36:25 PM
So, we are approaching 10k... where are the rockets, trains, that kind of stuff?

I only see people talking about Roger's Cash. Do Roger deserves so much attention?

1198  Local / Brasil / Re: Declarar Bitocoins no IRPF. on: April 23, 2018, 04:11:13 PM

1199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC follow the same pattern in February 2018? on: April 23, 2018, 12:53:51 PM
I think not. We are going straight to 12k, then we will have some correction.
1200  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 20, 2018, 01:04:22 PM
For fucks sake, alts a rising at a stupid speed again, with btc being a laggard. Here I was thinking that this alt shit had ended and btc would be the main show again.  Sad

Altcoins are used to increase BTC through trade (aka gambling).

That's why they rise faster, and fall faster as well.
