1281  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it true bitcoin will fall to the leve of $1800 or $1500 ? on: April 02, 2018, 02:28:34 PM
Bitcoin had a 94% crash in 2011, from $32 to $2.

So yes it is historically possible to have a crash like that. In our case, it would go from $20k to around $1000, touching even the three-digit area.

But see how much it had grow from 2011 to now. If bitcoin survived such a crash in a very obscure time, when it was in its infancy, what can we say of today, with all the development going on, and even governments considering to store it in its reserves?

$20k to $32 is 625x more money. Can you imagine bitcoin in seven years? Just do the math. And we dont need to have more volume for that, as the recent crash proved that 10% of the total volume can move the market up or down.

1282  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin still in a strong downtrend ? on: April 02, 2018, 02:18:48 PM
If the double bottom confirms, the downtrend will probably be over and we will be at $10k in May.

If it keeps declining, then $4k in two weeks, and $2k in May. In this case we can have a recover in May after $2k or in July after $1k. Its possible it will stay in three-digits for some days, too. Recovery will be very slow and we will only be back to $10k in December.
1283  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think we have to see 35000 usd in 2018 according to this table on: April 02, 2018, 01:48:51 PM
We win on both sides.

If this happens, we will have more money, obviously. Some might be tempted to sell or buy expensive stuff with it.

If this dont happen, we will see $2000, and we will load the shopping cart. A lot of people will do that and surely the price will recover.

Anyway, it will reach 100k eventually. It can happen during the next halving in 2020.
1284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 02, 2018, 01:40:06 PM
I think a double bottom is forming.
1285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 01, 2018, 09:51:43 PM
Are we just drawing random lines on the chart again that dont connect with anything?

He is just showing that if the market recovers back to 8k, it will be a double bottom at 6k.
1286  Economy / Speculation / Re: Log graph of bitcoins growth in price from 2010-18 - ? catch a falling knife? on: April 01, 2018, 07:52:44 PM
Did stock market somehow got twice as much money to raise from 12K Dow in 2012to 24K today?
Short answer: it does not work this way.
You need much less than a full value to move the market. How much? Maybe as little as 10%.

Exactly. The bearwhales crashed the market with less than 10%. In the same way its possible to recover the market with less than 10%.

This argument about scarcity being a deterrent to a crash is a myth. We can store 99% of bitcoin away from the exchanges, in private wallets, and still it will be possible to move the price with the 1% remaining.

1287  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 01, 2018, 05:07:27 PM
Its already two times we reached this bottom of 6k.

Can we consider this a double bottom?
1288  Economy / Speculation / Re: April will be around 5000 - and then further down on: April 01, 2018, 04:10:38 PM
Question: When wall street dude Tom Lee is saying HODL on bitcoin what you should do ? According to logic do opposite what are these manipulators saying shouldnt you rather sell now because it will be even worse ?

I dont care for what they say. I will hold because the fundamentals are stronger than ever.

If someone devise a P2P exchange with the mining cost coded-in, I will run a node for it.
1289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lightning Network = centralization on: April 01, 2018, 04:00:57 PM
Nobody cares. Nobody gives a fuck. Nothing is more centralized than the fiat system.

If we had decentralized P2P exchanges already, with the mining cost coded as a bottom in it, you would not be here spamming those threads.

1290  Economy / Speculation / Re: April will be around 5000 - and then further down on: April 01, 2018, 03:50:54 PM
You may have to leave the cryptocurrency community. This price of bitcoin will never be. The price of 2500 dollars is lower than the price of profitability. I am sure that after the bitcoin price will recover you will buy bitcoins for $ 10,000 and $ 20,000. You're not an idea person. You move in a pack and do what everyone else does.

Miners are already at a loss:

https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/btc?HashingPower=4730&HashingUnit=GH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=1293&CostPerkWh=0.12&MiningPoolFee=1

The market is being manipulated by the Wall Street mafia. Knowing that in the past the market had 90% crashes, why I should buy now and not at 10% of previous ATH?

Also, I'm on a long position and already bleeding. I will not sell anything, but if it drops to $2500, I will buy more. People may say it wont recover at that price, but the fundamentals tells otherwise. Tell me, how many people you see here talking about Schnorr signatures, atomic swaps, P2P exchanges? Very few, I can say that for certain.

1291  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 01, 2018, 03:12:13 PM
Only now I noticed all these attributes at the left, under each nickname.

Are we in a RPG now?
1292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 01, 2018, 03:03:22 PM
Seven years. They are dumping the gold and silver markets for seven years.

The guy from the article says to not sell, but at the same time recommends STFR. Is he meaning for a buy back?

But if the banks can do that for seven years with gold and silver, they can do the same with bitcoin. They dont need the asset, they just need to suppress it so that people go back to fiat. They can keep doing this forever.

Someone need to turn on that tether printing machine. If four trillion tethers are printed, and without any fiat backing it, bitcoin can be artificially pumped, and the short positions will be crushed. This will force the banks to go long to cover their expenses, reverting the situation.

1293  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 01, 2018, 02:00:17 PM
If they print money to feed their short positions then we print tethers to feed our longs.

Problem solved. Fight fire with fire. Fuck all.

Thats why the exchanges need a conclave. They need to devise a plan to stop those sharks.

One way is to print tether by the trillions, without any fiat equivalent. No auditing will be possible. There will be layers after layers of overseas business to mask it. Everytime bitcoin drops, Ifinex could print 1 trillion tethers and no fucks will be given. The sheep who keeps complaining about it can go back to their masters, we dont want them in cryptospace.

The issue with gold and silver is that they cant be artificially printed. They are physical. Bitcoin is not, and here's a advantage, we will be playing in the same field the banksters are. There's a limit to bitcoin, but not to tether.

It will be a money printing war. Maybe at the end of it we can even save the precious metals as well, if we peg them to bitcoin instead of the dollar.

1294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 01, 2018, 01:25:47 PM
Bitcoin has a secret weapon, it is call scarcity!

Take those coins away from the market and they will need to pump it again to shake the tree.  Grin

Not when they can provoke a massive panic selling, making the price drop to uncanny and unimaginable low levels.

Remember, they can print fiat money out of nowhere and at any time. Fiat money for them is infinite, and that's where most people base their perception of value.

The ensuing crisis from so much printing will be blamed on crypto, prompting legal persecution against it.

They were able to manipulate the price to below 8k in a matter of months. And this with only 10% of volume in the exchanges, the rest locked in personal wallets.

The solution is for the exchanges to create a private conclave and put a stop to it, blocking any trade below the mining value, with full authority and in a very artificial and biased way. This should be a international private conclave to protect crypto against the sharks from the banks and governments.
1295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 01, 2018, 01:03:55 PM

Everybody will say here this is tin-foil hat conspiracy theory.

But central banks can print money out of tin air, provoking inflation, which is in turn masked by the media.

You can see that people are always FUDing about tether, saying that is illegal and immoral for Ifinex to print it without a dollar equivalent, like it was a stupendous crime againt humanity.

However, when its central banks doing exactly the same, nobody cares.

So such cartels can run free. Thats how they dumped the gold market. Remember that a hundred years ago, gold was a store of value, and used as a protection against financial tyranny.

Now they are doing the same with crypto.

They print money out of tin air, buy bitcoin, then sell at low prices. Since every financial crisis is planned, this is good for their goals.

But hey, its a conspiracy. Trust the state and the banks, lets FUD about the immoral tether.

1296  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 3000$? on: April 01, 2018, 12:52:42 PM
There were crashes of 90% in the past. A crash of 90% from 20k is a price around 2k. So yes, we will reach 3k and I think it will be by the end of this month. Then 2k by May.

1297  Economy / Speculation / Re: April will be around 5000 - and then further down on: April 01, 2018, 12:42:40 PM
$5000 is not enough. I will only buy when it reaches $2500.

1298  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 31, 2018, 02:35:56 PM
When bankers run the world behind the scenes controlling the laws and the money printing presses they can own and control anything they wish too.

True. Central banks can print money to buy bitcoin and no fuck will be given to the inflation. They dont care.

However, they cant do the same to bitcoin.

1299  Economy / Speculation / Re: When this dip could go up on: March 31, 2018, 02:32:47 PM
At any moment.

1300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Monthly Return Heatmap 2013-2017 - Trade or HODL Long-Term? on: March 31, 2018, 02:06:09 PM
I dont have any merit to send.

This is very useful information. I bookmarked the table.

Did you notice that people are always making TA predictions, but nobody seems to care for FA?

The fundamentals are being ignored by these bears.

And these fundamentals are stronger than last year, much stronger. They get stronger each day, that's why there is low volume in the exchanges, because people dont want to sell, we have more hodlers than ever before.

2018 is bearish, like 2014. But they are different as we have stronger fundamentals now. Maybe we have a four-year cycle of renovation? What will 2019 and 2020 bring?
