1261  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 04, 2018, 04:17:35 PM
So, this time 7,5k was the point where we went down again.

Next one is 6,5k ?

Probably all the way down to 3-4k

The double bottom was denied. We are going straight to hell, that's it, $1k and the three-digits nightmare train.

I hope you didnt go all-in. Thats the problem with permabulls, they go all-in and when such crash happens, they cant buy the dip.

With the permabears its the same, they sell everything, get squeezed and then become preachers of doom. Rest assured that bitcoin will recover, as it recovered in 2011 when it had a similar crash.

was it approved by the iOS gulag guardians?

LMFAO.

Exchanges in cellphones dont look safe to me.

ohohoh do you have a link?

the problem is that the said "blockchain" should be able to link multisig and release coins for the wallet automatically once the trade is matched and not some kind of scam to pump a shitclone... otherwise they will not be chain neutral...

The ideal would be a Local Bitcoins version that could be stored in a P2P format. In this way, there would be no worrying about the site going down, hacker attacks and regulatory headaches like KYC. Also, there would be fees only for the transfers (mining fees). You would have a SPV-like wallet for each coin, pegged to this blockchain, and after synching, you would be able to trade each coin, and made deposits in fiat in the same way you can do in Local Bitcoins.

Come back next year.

1265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 04, 2018, 03:08:03 PM
another roach that didn't open sourced his matching engine...

if you don't own the private key, those cryptos aren't yours...

we need faster open sourced DEX... and ruins all centralized exchange !

I dont let a satoshi in exchanges any more.

I retrieved even from Bittrex, before the altcoins were stabed to death.

I want a exchange that can be stored in my computer, a P2P exchange inside a blockchain.

Holy shit.

Mark Karpeles doing AMA in Reddit (ex-CEO of Mt Gox):  https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/89o16y/im_mark_karpelès_exceo_of_bankrupt_mtgox_ask_me/

Well, that was impressive. I thought the guy was a scumbag of the worse type.

I hope he can go with civil rehabilitation and that wallet of doom can be dispersed back to Mt.Gox users.

1267  Economy / Speculation / Re: A signal of bull market or trap? on: April 04, 2018, 01:15:53 PM
Bull trap. We will stay the entire year in hibernation.

There were several of these traps already, this is just another.

Compare the chart to last year. It had already recovered by this time.

The signs are clear, we are going straight to 1k. Only then we can recover.

I'm not saying I want that, its just how the market looks like right now.

Come back in December for 10-12k range prices.

1268  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin going moon starting from June. Don't sale your Bitcoin right now !! on: April 04, 2018, 04:10:16 AM
Nobody is stupid to sell right now, at a historical low. Unless it is a very early adopter dumping his coins for a lambo, which I doubt most here are.

To sell now, even if it is below the last price you paid, would be a mistake, considering all the development going right now.

This is the time to buy, to load the cart, to accumulate.
1269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's market value should fall by more than a third before year-end on: April 04, 2018, 01:17:52 AM
Also, if the crash was engineered by Wall Street, then the pump might also be engineered by them. That's something many of us here can also be in denial of.

But it was. The pumps from November and December were artificial. They were too much steep. They started pumping it right after CME futures got announced in October, and dumped it when the first CME session opened in December.

Now I think they will fail, because the more they dump it, the wider is the distribution. People are just filling the gap with buying orders. Bitcoin was in 6k two times already, the resistance seems very strong there. And the Mt.Gox trustee wallet had not moved anymore, so they cant use that to spread FUD.

1270  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price will correct higher to $7,700 to $8,000 on: April 03, 2018, 10:28:17 PM
If it reaches $8000, we can confirm a double-bottom of 6k.

This usually sparks FOMO, but since bitcoin whales are mostly neckbeards wanting to troll the market hard, and it was proven in the past that TA wont work with bitcoin, we can see it falling as well.

In any case, go long, the halvening by 2020 will be big business, for any of us.

Finally FA.

We need more charts like that.

1274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where is the bottom for BTC price? 6K, 5K or even lower? on: April 03, 2018, 12:17:21 PM
The market need to decide if it go up to 8000 and form a double bottom, or if it keeps going down straight to 1000.

Theres no more line of support. Is 8000 or nothing. Its double bottom or a bear year.

Remember when it was below 5k and how much time it did take to breach it on the way up. Its the same now with 6k.

The miners are already at a loss, according to this site: https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/btc?HashingPower=4730&HashingUnit=GH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=1293&CostPerkWh=0.12&MiningPoolFee=1

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
1275  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin downtrend is limited. Here's why. on: April 03, 2018, 04:40:47 AM
so here's what usually happens: those people who bought at $15k? they think rationally like you for quite some time. but the price drops and drops and eventually, they start to wonder if the price will ever recover. then the crash accelerates. panic ensues. these once rational hodlers who were so strong at $8000 are suddenly so much weaker at $5000 and below.

True. These are the people who spam threads about "will the price go up?" or "you need to remain calm", because they are already desperate and need confirmation that people are not as desperate as they are, they need some comfort. Or then they say this is a "correction" to feel better and deny the reality of facts (a correction wont go more than 25%, anything below that is a bear market).

They wonder if the price will recover, because they dont know about the fundamentals, or they know, but dont pay any attention to it. They want quick profits, they are in only to increase their fiat money, thats why they are triggered by tether printing.
1276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin still in a strong downtrend ? on: April 03, 2018, 03:22:17 AM
And if $1000 doesn't hold we'll be up for $500, and when $500 doesn't hold we should prepare ourself for $200. Cheesy

I think not, because I'm basing my speculation in data from previous crashes. In 2011 there was a 94% crash, in 2015 a 87% crash, and current crash is already 70%. From 20k to 200 it would be a 99% crash. I think money will flow in before it reaches this value, and the price will not go lower than $800, in a worst case scenario.

Just because I'm saying it can happen, dont means it will happen.
1277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's market value should fall by more than a third before year-end on: April 03, 2018, 02:06:14 AM
The "mean" in this chart is the $3000 price which happened on 1st August 2017.

In relation to previous ATH, we already fallen more than a third. $6k is 30% of $20k, so we have fallen two thirds already.

But if you say that in relation to $6k, this would give us a $4k price. I think it will go lower than that. It will go where people will drop it out of despair. In that chart, the "despair" phase is around $800.

The analysts are still wrong. Why? Because this crash is engineered by Wall Street, as simple as that.
1278  Economy / Speculation / Re: $7,700 will be the next hurdle on the upside on: April 02, 2018, 04:53:53 PM
This price is tempting people to buy. I can feel it.

Whatever manipulation the sharks from Wall Street are doing, it will fail. The more the price fall, the wider will be the distribution.

And if we reach 8k again, we will have a double bottom, which might spark FOMO.

On the other hand, if they keep dumping it, we will reach 1k in a short time, but it will be artificially engineered, and the temptation to buy will be greater, widening the distribution even more. The price will not stay there for too much time.

People are willing to buy, but they see the price keeps falling, and nobody wants to lose money, so they wait. Some are still buying it with the current price, but their volume is smaller, the distribution is tight (only the richer will be willing to take the risk), so it will need some buying effort to go back to 8k and form the double bottom.
1279  Economy / Speculation / Re: I want to sell the house car and on: April 02, 2018, 04:32:40 PM
If you are going to do it, buy only with a part of it, because it can fall more.

Buy and hold, as the crash is temporary. The mistake most people do is going to extremes, like being a permabull or a permabear. Nothing is permanent here.

Have a balanced approach to it, and you might succeed.
1280  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient and calm yourself on: April 02, 2018, 04:21:34 PM
I simply dont get greedy forever HODLing hoping for a bit more then a bit more.

You probably had three digits of bitcoin. In your case, it was right to use it, because bitcoin was intended to be a currency.

For us with only one digit, we will have to wait until we can buy houses and cars with it. That's why we hold, in the same way some of you did five years ago.

Myself I see in this bear market a opportunity to buy more. That's why people should not go all-in into crypto, for in case such crash happen, they will have spare fiat to buy more. I have 16% of exposure and I'm planning for 25% if the crash reaches 90% from previous ATH. The temptation will be too great to not buy more.
