301  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading constitution. on: April 17, 2024, 08:58:20 PM
I've come to understand that psychology plays a significant role—about 90%. However, I've realized the importance of having a profitable system as the foundation.
That profitable system that you all are saying is about the strategies that you're going to apply in trading. There's so much to look at with all of these "systems" and "strategies". But the important part here is how profitable they are. Because if they're not profitable at all, you need to make sure that they've been tested and whichever works for you, that's the actual thing that you've been looking for and can that it is your profitable system as the backbone of why you're into trading because you've discovered how to be profitable on it.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto market lost over $400 billion in two days, indicates Iran Israel issue on: April 17, 2024, 08:27:45 PM
This is where someone should use a link shortener because it's just too odd to click on some link like yours OP. Anyway, people are still considering about the war that has started with Iran and Israel. There could be a relation to it but I don't see it but if there is then I think that it's just minimal and people shouldn't invest on it if they're into the crypto market as this market indicates and relies on the market supply and demand that we're always been reliant too with the news, good or bad as well.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which airdrops are you currently participating in? on: April 17, 2024, 07:48:50 PM
I have no idea about others but I'm interested in zksync. How can I participate in it's airdrop?
Me either, that's where I am interested with. I'm looking for articles like this: https://www.coingecko.com/learn/zksync-airdrop
Other than that, I don't have someone to guide me for where I should look for the airdrops that are on zksync. Those that are mostly into airdrops have got their radar where they're joining and it's just mostly all about luck and so, good luck and also be wary of the scam and fake airdrops.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WIF was a good memecoin, any other about to go up? on: April 17, 2024, 04:38:56 AM
So when WIF - Dog With Hat coin came out, I wanted it to buy just for fun. Unfortunatelly i did not and the coin went up pretty high. Is there any other prospects to look out for? Risky investments are fun sometimes...  Grin
You have to watch them closely as no one will be able to tell you what exactly is going to be the same as WIF or any other meme coins that you want to prosper. The meme coins are like this, you'll never know if the ones that has the low cap right now might be big by tomorrow.
But most of them won't have that result as WIF but we're seeing more of them like BOME. Again, with too many of them, not all are going to prosper and you have to DYOR.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you think meme coinis? on: April 17, 2024, 03:49:38 AM
Simsol  its gonna moon or not tell me  because solana meme coins are mooning hard these days.
No one knows but I give you some good thoughts to think of. The meme coins are not going to last forever with this craze. There will be a stoppage of this hype and we don't also know when that will happen. And as for the bunch of altcoins and meme coins that we're having in the market right now, it's not possible that we see that many of them are doomed to fail because not just it's labelled as a memecoin in the solana network means that it will be successful.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving, historical price surges to follow? on: April 17, 2024, 03:06:58 AM
Why is this on altcoins if it's Bitcoin? It's known to most of us here, especially the ones that have been here for so long about the past halvings.

Keep loading your bags, because in a couple years, you're gonna be one happy camper. This Bitcoin halving cycle is about to go parabolic, I can feel it.
That's the goal, we can have it this bull run those have been accumulating for a lot time and waited for this moment. As usual with the bull run, it's always been parabolic and we'd see a skyrocketing growth of it, but how high it can be this time? We shall see.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC sues UniSwap: an opportunity for DeFi? on: April 17, 2024, 12:49:52 AM
The SEC's lawsuit against Uniswap Labs faces hurdles due to Uniswap's decentralized nature. Uniswap Labs developed the Uniswap protocol, but it operates without a central authority. This makes it difficult for the SEC to pinpoint a specific entity to hold accountable in court. Uniswap functions primarily as a platform that facilitates trades between liquidity providers and users.
SEC is funny, it's been from the start of their operations that Uniswap has been advertised as a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange.

It doesn't hold user assets or offer investment contracts, which are areas typically targeted by securities regulations.
They'd just categorized it the same as the CEXs that they've been flagged before although the obvious is that Uniswap is like a middleman for all of the traders that are going there. Now, good luck to them but Uniswap is a known company and the people that have worked behind it. We truly are not going to mess around if SEC starts to flag all of these DEXs.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Israel vs Iran - Will this limit the coming bull run? on: April 16, 2024, 07:09:02 PM
With the Bitcoin halving just days away we all expect bullish 2024 but just wondering how much this war will affect the rest of the year?

I was investing when Russia first invaded Ukraine 2 years ago and the markets crashed then but that was at the bottom of the bear market - will the markets hold stronger being in bull run or will they tank if the war gets worse and will we see less of a bull run?

The markets have seen a mini crash since Iran attacked Israel the other day and I am just holding for now, haven't bought anything and haven't sold and just hoping we can start seeing the market go up over the next few months.
As you have remembered when the Ukraine and Russia started their war, the market has just been the same. And also with the covid 19 pandemic, it was the start of the bull run. The same season and I am not expecting that there will be heavy damage to the crypto market with this another war but these countries should stop as we've got had enough with all of these attacks and missiles that are flying on the air and the panic that these wars are causing us.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there really a future for young individuals in web3 ? on: April 16, 2024, 05:45:30 PM
Have you participated in any crypto programs or mentorships? What was your experience?
I have not because most of them are paid and the free ones can be attended through a webinar but in the end, there's always the sales pitch from the organizers. That's why if it's about these kinds of mentorships in the web3 for young individuals, if it's not bothering you then go ahead. While you are young, explore more because you have a lot of time and even if failures meet you, you have ample time to recover from those failures that soon will become your lessons.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Halving is coming, alt season soon? on: April 16, 2024, 04:37:22 PM
My personal bet is a plunge for a couple of days, and then slowly over a few weeks, we will start to see an increase in prices again, as the effect of less BTC being sold from miners.
This bet of yours is now happening.

Im holding most of my crypto in USD, so I can buy the dip.

What about you?
I am also ready to buy the dip but is this the dip that we're all waiting for? I am actually not waiting for it but because that many speculations have told that and it's starting to appear then it makes sense to wait for it if there will be more of these corrections.
311  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A trader lost over $1 Million + on Binance Feature trading on: April 16, 2024, 03:14:06 PM
With that refund he got, he's likely to lose them again. Why? Because the thought that he's got on his mind is the revenge recovery, he's gone too far and lost over $1M with his entire stay on the market but then, the likely refund that he's got wouldn't be enough for him to accept if he's not going to accept it with his ego. But if not and if I am wrong then it's best for him to stick to a recovery plan in a safer mode and have a safer approach in trading.
312  Economy / Economics / Re: Governments and their irrelevant projects just to steal public funds on: April 16, 2024, 11:49:39 AM
The government officials from those countries are taking advantage of the fake projects for infrastructures or any type of project that they can have their kickback.
It's sad that it became a norm and the people can't do shit against these corrupted government officials as they've been put into there through votes but I think there's still the bigger power from the people that they can get kicked if they do it altogether.
if you look at the extent to which politicians are just too smart to steal money, you will know that politicians are people you are supposed to be scared of because  there are projects that are not even in progress and they have collected money and spent it, and since it is a fair share, nobody is holding anybody responsible for anything, and that is why such acts is even continuing. Politics is one of the most corrupt games I have ever seen. They don't give a damn about anything they want, whether it is money or how they will spend it, and even if the poor are not trying, there are privileges they can also enjoy, starting with providing jobs and opportunities, but they don't see other people as a priority, which is why the number of unemployed people is increasing, That is what they want.
Well, it's common in most developing countries and that's why it's no longer a secret thing that whether there's project or none, there's always the commission behind that project and thats' what kick back is called.

It seems that activities like this have become a normal thing in every government, they use funds that can increase in value but the quality of the goods is not of the quality they originally planned. Many governments really like corruption, as long as they have the opportunity to do it and it is not known to many people, it will continue to be carried out. As long as the people can gather all the available evidence, officials who are proven to have committed corruption will be dealt with clearly. Because basically corruption is an act that is very detrimental to the country.
That's another one, getting contractors for the infra projects and pay them cheaper and the contractors will use sub standard materials whilst the budget, the actual one for funding remains the same. But since the contract is lessened, the excess budget will go to you know.
313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crafting a safer strategy for growing your crypto portfolio: on: April 16, 2024, 09:56:03 AM
Many traders were caught off guard, lacking sufficient USDT reserves for dollar-cost averaging (DCA) during price recoveries.
This is one of the mistakes that I've made for so long and that's because I always take full cash out when I'm done trading and don't keep stable coins reserved for potential buys. Although I do a lot of buybacks but it's a hassle for me because I have to deposit another full amount that I am about to invest when the dip comes. And that also came from the profit that I've come that becomes an excess because I have not decided on where I should spend that.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the blockchain projects you're investing in? on: April 16, 2024, 08:31:35 AM
I have most of my crypto in cash these days.

I am waiting for the crash after the halving.

Its all but guaranteed to happen, just like the last times Smiley

And then I hope to buy up some cheap DYM, ATOM and even Wormhole,
Good luck with your strategy. You've got a different approach while most of us here are waiting to sell, you, you are waiting to buy. The crash might probably take place a day or two before the halving and then a very quick recovery will come.

once Solana stops shitting the bed and my stuck funds are unfrozen Smiley
I might take a few of it if I think that it's affordable by the time that the market crashes again for the nth time. But as of this time, it's far from the price point that I am wiling to pay.
315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found the meme coins SEC they review projects before it will get posted on: April 15, 2024, 11:53:04 PM
Why would SEC care about these meme coins? They don't actually need to waste their time looking at it. I guess that you're just trying to put people from this forum into that telegram group that you probably own. Well, it's not that new at all when people think that there's always the era of the meme coins that's going to thrive. I believe they're crazy now but there's no way that it's going to last forever because later on, the time of most of them are going to fall.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange native tokens Vs Wallet native tokens on: April 15, 2024, 11:17:46 PM
The main reason why the exchange tokens tend to appreciate in value is because they are delfationary. Usually after a month or quarter there is a burn cycle, so they are burnt.

Is it a good investment? It has its risks.

Remember FTX ? They had FTT which also was burnt from time to time depending on the amount of profit that was made from its trading fees, however since the exchange was a big scam, the token went to 0. So there is risks in investing in these. And besides BNB, the rest haven't been as profitable. So take caution with these tokens.
I agree, not all th etime these exchanges native tokens are going to do well. Sometimes, we'll just be surprised with the scheme that they've developed with their token that they've been doing something crazy that we don't know. But the good thing with the others, they've proven their worth and that's why they're good investments. To mention the others, you have to do deep research about it and the nonstop advise about DYOR, it never gets old.
317  Economy / Economics / Re: Governments and their irrelevant projects just to steal public funds on: April 15, 2024, 05:24:05 PM
This is the reason why on a third world country there are so many poor people and the gap between poor and the rich is very wide, the projects intended for projects for infrastructure are pocketed by corrupt officials.
318  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Simple practices to improve trading (2). on: April 15, 2024, 02:33:46 PM
As someone who practices trading, it's best not to get confused with a lot of pairs. Stick to just one as start and master it if you can. The best pair that one can start with is through Bitcoin/USDT. That's the easiest way to understand how the other pair works and if someone wants to improve trading. You don't have to do two things at the same time but mainly focus on one pair first until you master it, then that's the time for you to expand in other pairs.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bitcoin reach 100k USD in 2024? on: April 15, 2024, 10:32:22 AM
Not impossible.
We're 60% already on it and there's got to be a slow moving until we reach $70k back and $80k. The year is still long and we're still on the 2nd quarter so there's more to this year as this is the halving year. If it won't be reached by this year and put that hope on 2025 as what many are saying that it's likely the time that we're going to see that the market will peak on this particular bull run.
You nailed it. Just think about how we were able to reach the current price of $60,000 from $20,000 a few years ago.
So, since we are in a bull market, I am really hoping forward the price action is really different already now, we can go parabolic run up to $100,000 just like a common thing in a bull market.
Just look how fast from $60,000 up to $70,000 when we created new all-time high earlier, and that's already $30,000 more for $100,000.
Yeah, while the others are being discouraged whenever they see that there's a plunge to Bitcoin within the day. But even with that, they know that it's going to recover no matter what happens and we're just a few thousands away and we know how impactful the halving is and that's why it's going to be possible that we'd see it this year and more confident that the upcoming year could even be more than $100k. We don't know but we're all hoping for that.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: April 15, 2024, 09:29:24 AM
Aside from this post above ^ are there any other interesting things that are or about to happen with Cardano? it's on the top rank but I don't see more of the hype that we're having this bull run. I am optimistic on it like on the bear market but I guess that I am losing my patience waiting for it to do something interesting or shocking. It's about the shocking positively that it could show us some rise during this time since this is going to be majority of the altcoins moving up.
