1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BABY SHARK INU - x100 on: November 16, 2023, 03:23:10 AM
I am surprised to see that this inu meme has got some volume. We're all done with the inu projects that we're seeing in altcoins kingdom. What's going to be the next project that we're going to see? Mommy shark inu? dudududu? Cocomelon Token?
Enough is enough. We're done with all these shits but yeah, you guys made money out of it.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid a scam project? on: November 16, 2023, 01:46:52 AM
The real truth is that there’s no particular test to know if a project is scam. But you can pay attention to red flags when looking for what project to invest in (especially these new alts). One of which I’ve seen is when a project’s team members is not having any tangible or reputable background. Additionaly, check the use-case of the project, check what problem the token solves and how effectively it does that.
That's right, because at the beginning even the known scam ones have hard time when people figured out that they were scams. But before, they're like the most authentic ones that made people optimistic about them but then, it's all about lie.
It's all about the promises that they've made to their communities but then they've broken most of those but made some of it. And then, from all over the entire community that they seem to be at their peak, that's when they're going to cut their ties and will turn the route backwards and will execute the scamming tactics that they're about to pull.
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Releases Web3 Wallet custodial crap on: November 15, 2023, 11:39:27 PM
I haven't taken a look at it but reading some meaningful thoughts about the wallet, as long as it's from Binance, there's really no privacy and decentralization from it. That's what we can conclude from any product that they release in the market whether it's another wallet or some price trackers. Expect that most of them are not going to be in favor of the users but only for them just as what we're seeing with their exchange. Despite that, you and me are still using the exchange itself but it's a different thing from this wallet they've just released.  Grin
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Coin is Best for short term speculation on: November 15, 2023, 10:47:53 PM
For short term speculations, you should go with those that has a lot of volume. Because if you're going to do the strategy of others of hunting potential altcoins that haven't pumped yet, it may take you a while. Whilst for doing such trade with high volume coins or tokens, you won't need any waiting game for them. I'd always advise to go with Ethereum, no doubt whether you're going to be long on it or short, you've got no problems with it as it's flexible as usual.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins profits or bank profits, which best? on: November 15, 2023, 09:56:15 PM
For me it is possible to get more profit in crypto market because here you can get double money by trading or investing with little money, which is actually impossible from bank. To earn profit by keeping money in the bank, you need to have a large amount of money, so it is not applicable for small investors. Moreover, from crypto you can withdraw profit anytime, but to get profit from bank, you have to wait for a certain period of time.
In banks, you can also make a profit but far from what we're earning in the altcoins or the entire crypto market. You get small portion of the interest they earn from their clients. So it's like they earn 100% from your money and from their clients, what they give to the depositors is just like 1%-3% and take note of it, that's for an annual rate. And if they are going to rinse and repeat that strategy for so long, you can think of how much the bank makes from our money compared to us from their service.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying ETH fees? on: November 15, 2023, 08:56:41 PM
In conclusion, if your wallet is hacked by a thief, if there is no ethereum in it, then the hacker must top up ethereum first to empty your wallet. because it requires transaction fees
But you won't get hacked if you don't expose your private keys everywhere and you don't connect and agree to smart contracts everywhere too. That only means that you need to be careful upon accessing websites.
Better prevention. There are many other things that can happen, just take safety precautions. because we often participate in various projects which now always connect our wallet to the website.
Those that are always participating in various projects need to be careful, all of you must be aware that you need not to join all of them at once when DYOR.

I had this problem when I connected and my ethereum was reduced
You're lucky that it's just reduced and not entirely swept. Because if it's for hackers, they're not going to leave any amount there. Maybe what happened to you is just a product of high fees when you transacted in the past.
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying ETH fees? on: November 15, 2023, 03:11:50 AM
It's better to prepare now, but my suggestion is to keep it in another wallet to be safer to avoid unwanted incidents.
What can be the unwanted incidents that can happen if you have got an ETH together with the tokens? About being hacked and signing with the smart contracts from websites?

In conclusion, if your wallet is hacked by a thief, if there is no ethereum in it, then the hacker must top up ethereum first to empty your wallet. because it requires transaction fees
But you won't get hacked if you don't expose your private keys everywhere and you don't connect and agree to smart contracts everywhere too. That only means that you need to be careful upon accessing websites.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most profitable Node coin in altcoins now on: November 15, 2023, 02:33:24 AM
Even if there is a specific token and node that OP has mentioned. What if this thread becomes the place for most discussions about node coins. It seems that I have missed the older thread if there's any or there's no thread yet about it. I think that it's an interesting topic be discussed mostly for those folks that are into the node coins and finding the coin that they'd like to run one for it.
What do you think guys? and I think OP can initiate and make some list since it seems that he's already into node coins.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still risky to Invest into Altcoin now? on: November 14, 2023, 11:31:08 PM
I would like to brief about the current market situation as there has been surge in value of altcoins a much higher surge compared to Bitcoin and many would have utilised this momentum to gain profit but if we look at the other side if you just look for top gainers you will find altcoins with top surge but the next day or after few days if you check the top losers you will find the same top gainers in this list as well. So there is a price increase for altcoin but not a established one like Bitcoin, because we have not seen dump in the value of Bitcoin for over an month now but Altcoins has been pumping and dumping and in my opinion it's not worth to make entery for long term as of now it's good only for quick profit whole being very active. What's your opinion ? Shall we invest or just involve in quick trades ?
Just do quick trades if you're able to. The market is still in confirmation period and we get some corrections on its way, if you are not able to ride before it pumps then you have to wait again and see if your validation gets confirmed that we're now on a longer period wherein we should hold for the longer time. Investing in risky, whether it's with altcoins or Bitcoin but the difference with Bitcoin is we're getting more assurance that this is the center attraction of the market and it has no other way to go but to be up.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your favourite Alt-Coin, and why? on: November 14, 2023, 10:44:49 PM
Before I have always included Monero. It's really privacy wise but it's not all about the privacy this time but also about economically. If you're holding it and you're for the profit of it, the profitability this time is lesser than before. That's why one of my favorite these days is Ethereum.
No questions needed to be asked because we all know why is it the most favoured altcoins in the market and why it is in the top. For consecutive years, it's been consistent on the top 2 and the reasons behind it is its ecosystem.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You trust Tether (USDT) Stablecoin? on: November 14, 2023, 09:54:22 PM
Many still like Tether no matter issues are being thrown on it. With the volume that it has, that only tells one thing and that means that it's being trusted by many. Or not being trusted but because of the volume, they choose to use it instead of any other stable coins.

Usdc, don't ask for reasons, I just do.
This is the other one that I use these days. I don't know why as well but maybe there's a magnet on it that makes me use it because I have always seen it being said by people.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think Staking is the Perfect Passive Income Strategy in a Bull Market? on: November 14, 2023, 01:21:53 PM
So I believe staking stands out as a smart strategy for passive income in this bull market, especially since it allows you to leverage your staked tokens effectively. But, does this make it the perfect passive income for you?

For me, staking during a bull run has been akin to hitting two birds with one stone as enjoying the rewards from staking and potentially benefiting from the rising value of the staked assets. This dual advantage has made it a successful strategy in my experience. More than just a means to earn, staking has also been a way for me to engage with and contribute to the growth and innovation of blockchain technology.

So what do you think guys? Is staking the perfect passive income strategy for the bull market,
Not just during the bull run but also during the bear market. You can look at that moment when we're in the bear and it's like more accumulation due to staking.

or are there nuances we should consider?
What I just don't like on it if you're going to do it with exchanges. You will not be allowed to have control over your funds and mostly if you take the locked period of it which you have no option but to wait for the period you agree they will lock it.
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin looking like sleeping gigant in this bull run season on: November 14, 2023, 10:33:39 AM
I don't have the data but from what I have learned as an LTC investor, LTC was always late on a bull run, it will got it's bullrun few weeks after Bitcoin got the Bullrun much later compared to other Altcoins.
Last bull run, it's actually late. Honestly, it did not that much during that bull run and anticipating that it's going to be something this upcoming bull run, I think that we might see that it move a bit but not entirely like a bull run that we're expecting.

So, for anyone who are only begin to get Litecoin, I guess they should be patient and wait.
Well, they can choose other altcoins if they want to because with the movement that it has got seems to be not good at all for the past years.
1314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you rather make your investments in FIAT or CRYPTO? on: November 14, 2023, 12:46:17 AM
Bitcoin till forever mate , never that I will choose banks over crypto specially as you mentioned there will be monthly interest ,have used banks for many years before learning Bitcoin
I also used banks for several years and even until today. They have interest in offers for their services but you're earn measly from there.

I stopped engaging with banks not even use credit cards now as I am completely using either my monthly wages or my crypto holding .
but it is for Bitcoin alone and no altcoins or bs meme coin or shitcoins.
That's a good strategy if you're not investing anymore to altcoins, meme coins or any shit coins. You're giving yourself a favor by doing that because you know that Bitcoin is coming to halving within the next months and then the price will shoot up after wards. As an investor, if the opportunity is on both ends, I'd do it honestly.
1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge coin everly hit $1? on: November 13, 2023, 11:02:13 PM
Quote
Doge might likely hit $1 because that has been it's projection. If the bull run goes as planned, dodge might see $1 but I am scared that alot of people are holding doge and when there is a sell panic because of price rise, it might hinder it's movement to the moon.
Meanwhile, Elon might decide to put up a late minute drama with doge.
I'm interested in the last sentence you said, Doge could reach $1 if Elon Musk creates drama with tweets on X. Because when talking about Dogecoin we cannot escape Elon Musk's interference.
If there will be another hype that will come from Elon, a push could happen but if it's not the same as what he did in the past where it's able to reach the peak of $0.7 then it won't be enough. But it's true that it's all about Elon pushing the prices up with his tweets and that's why everyone is moving forward to get some price increase from him. There is always money in drama and he gets a lot of money with that especially if he involves doge or actual meme coins to his tweets.
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Analysts eyeing $3,000 as the next milestone for Ethereum (ETH) on: November 13, 2023, 04:46:45 PM

This image won't show on your OP because you need to be at least jr member for it show but I'll quote it for you.

From a blockchain point of view, people who own ETH and are putting their coins in long-term storage this week are important for the rise in Ethereum's price on Thursday. As this continues and more people are buy, the price of Ethereum could go beyond $2,500 soon.
We're always like this whenever we're about to get on the bull run. Everyone wants to hold and with Ethereum, it has a better ATH and might likely reach to that point again unlike the other altcoins, when they're done with ATH, they never come back.
1317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying ETH fees? on: November 13, 2023, 03:10:23 PM
I will take a guess that the ETH ecosystem won't be clogged anymore and that is because of many tokens that has also been available to other ecosystems or networks too.
That makes the fee for those token transfers cheaper and made a wider way for the transactions to come in and out of the ETH chain. Just for your preparation, not just the ETH for fees you prepare but also your mind that you won't be surprise if some surge happens.
Having multiple options makes the network easier to process transfers and that will be the time I think that we can see the ETH gas fee back low like a few years ago. However, we can still expect the volatile movement of fees but not as high as compared to these days. We can really feel the burden of traders/investors who are paying huge fees and it was not reasonable enough to move $50 worth of tokens while paying $10 (or more). That is why a lot of people are hoping for this to come and to have them breathe from long years of suffering high fees.
With the other supported networks, the fees won't be that much and that's one good reason for someone who has the option to do so. But usually, these transactions are available to be done in the exchanges where they will allow you to pick which network you want to withdraw with that token.

I think its not the fact that other token deployed in other ecosystem such as matic even the L2 but because in bullish so many coin deploying in ethereum because its the most crowded blockchain that means more liquidity and more investors, I think regardless the team should be really trying to solve this problem. i know they have soma plan up their sleeves to solve this problem.

meanwhile I think we will see how effective the L2 gonna be in overcoming these bullruns where the transactions amount would multiply than when it is in bearish.
but i would expect that it will just be the same like when L2 was hyping back then, the batch submitter of each L2 instead polluting the main blockchain but its indeed could increase the transactions amount processed by getting the weight off ethereum.
at least we should be prepared to have some massive gwei increase.
Yes and that's the main reason why it's good to have those tokens that are also supported in other networks. Because if it seems crowded in the Eth chain, you can do transactions in other supported networks that has lesser fee.

1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $20,000 to invest in any Altcoins of your choice? on: November 12, 2023, 09:56:24 PM
One alt coin I see. Ery promising has to be BnB, cardano, dodge a d Shiba Inu. These are few coins I can remember as St this time having done little research on them I discovered they have some good potential I'm the flrth coming bull run soonest. But then if you must invest in these coins I have listed, be careful and apply risk management well enough and my disclaimer is that there's no 100% that these coins I mentioned at going to do so well or are going to make you rich in one da, but they will perform fairly, nevertheless DYOR and invest wisely
Spare your money and try to avoid meme coins. Because most of them have pumped already but if I miss it then it's just me and not you. Nothing against with you guys that are still into meme coins thinking that they will pump a lot. I see some that are still pumping a lot and likely some of them will do on the bull run after bitcoin's halving. But not to disappoint you, you must also prepare yourselves with the outcome that you may not like when nothing seems to be moving and all eyes and attentions changes to Bitcoin and other top altcoins.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTT Token on: November 12, 2023, 08:36:10 PM
I'd say it again because there is another thread about asking Will FTT token everly hit it ATH again?
That people should just stop thinking of something better will come on this token. If you have been holding it, don't hope for the best and if you're thinking to invest on it then don't try to catch those knives that will fall on your hands. If your brother OP is still in there holding this token, yeah as you have said it's likely going to have a slow death.
