301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why inflated countries should adopt Bitcoin to help boost their economy. on: March 02, 2024, 11:15:57 AM
It could be beneficial in several ways because.
1. It is the fastest way to combat inflation, due to it's limited supply, making it more scarce and costlier, which could help strengthen a countries economy.

Nope! No! Not! Niet!

The moment a country  that suffers from high inflation will try to buy Bitcoins with it's worthless inflated fiat for which there will be no demand it will just trigger higher inflation, then higher inflation, till their banknotes will be so useless they won't be able to pay with 100 trucks of it for the fee of a tx!
We calculate Bitcoin's value in USD, so when a country buys a Bitcoin with its worthless fiat and stores it, waits for the price to rise and then sells it, isn't it going to help them economically? If they buy it at 20K USD and sell at 40K USD, they are doing 2x profit. The profit in USD matters the most for countries with high inflation because they depend on USD for import and export and their national currency is tied to USD because people value real estate, cars and other things in USD when they buy and sell it.

Stop treating Bitcoin as a solution for a global or even national economy, Bitcoin works great for individual purposes, at macro levels it loses a shit ton of its advantages as those are simply not applicable anymore!
That's true, daily Bitcoin transactions on Bitcoin Blockchain are impossible at a country level where millions of people have to use it daily, Bitcoin wasn't meant for that pressure and can't deal with it right now. The more people use it for transactions, the more expensive it becomes and completely destroys the idea of improving economy when people have to pay huge price for transactions.
302  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: March 02, 2024, 10:26:44 AM
Congrats Leo, I hope bustabit will be an even better place with you. Do you plan to do anything with website's interface? UI/UX design? I know some people who got so captivated with bustabit that they copied bustabit game and named it Aviator, selling it to many casinos right now. Just keep in mind, improve Bustabit to not get dived.

I believe only question 3 hasn't been answered yet. We'll request KYC information only in cases where we suspect a player may be underage, from forbidden jurisdictions, or if mandated by law enforcement.
As far as I know, you are an unlicensed right now. Do you plan to acquire a Curacao or Costa Rica license? Will we be allowed to gamble via VPN? Also, I can't find the information about whether multiple accounts are allowed.
303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proven many times holders won't regret on: March 02, 2024, 09:36:21 AM
If we see the history of Bitcoin, then it's pretty easy to see how Bitcoin recovered its price. It would take time to recover, but eventually it did. So at the end of the day, holders don't need to be regretful. I am talking about Bitcoin, not about any other altcoin. Because even though the Bitcoin price has recovered, many altcoins haven't recovered yet. Even those who bought Bitcoin at the top in the last bull run, I believe they are almost recovered. If they are still holding, they will be in profit within a couple of months. Bitcoin has given us a costly lesson that holders won't regret. We should take that lesson and keep it in mind for the future.
You are right, Bitcoin has proved many times and still proves that it's going to rise and it will always surpass its all-time high price. Since 2021, I always think about one Redditor who sold his house and bought Bitcoin in 2017 when the price reached 20K USD. I remember how that Redditor felt hopeless when the price started declining, he thought everything was over and Bitcoin was never going to rise again and he lost his house but then in 2021 Bitcoin reached 69K USD and now, there is an upcoming halving. We have never seen such a high price before halving, it's almost reaching its ATH before halving, this will be a new thing in recent Bitcoin history. It's never late to buy Bitcoin, it's always going to prove people wrong.
304  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: March 02, 2024, 08:06:09 AM
The FUN tokens are very famous and have many good things, but it would be good if they could generate more opportunities and more options to do things better, because the moment they decide to make good investments the opportunities are applied to buying, I have not bought fun tokens, I have had bad experiences with casinos with native tokens and that takes advantage of things to make a good market. I have not yet seen any good project, the one from rollbit, which is RLB, has Resonated a lot. Apparently they have a good project and things are going wrong.

The cainso should take advantage of putting these tokens well because it is an idea for investors to trust, I am not a great investor, but I do buy few, and I don't like them because investing in altcoins sometimes gives good returns and can make you win big when Bitcoin rises Price, but there has to be a good project, something that promises as it is.

FUN tokens were famous and they still probably are, when Freebitco acquired FUN tokens, there was a wide talk on Reddit and other websites and forums about this event. FUN was performing well during the 2018 year, then it went down, then Freebitco acquired it and there was hope among investors and the price went up again and was up during the 2021 year, then it started going down and is doing terribly.
By the way, I don't understand FUN token's benefits besides Freebitco's benefits that you get by holding it.

Realistically like other casino tokens, they will never take off like BTC so use cases will remain more or less the same. Even BFG is still stuck at less than 2 cents but on the bright side, over here we're still enjoying the free spins and added interests so I'm not complaining Smiley
Only Rollbit Token is performing well. I hope this coin won't experience a sudden crash or it will be very hard to recover.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If everyone is holding their bitcoin, will there be a balance? on: March 01, 2024, 09:27:38 PM
I have read several posts encouraging people to hold their bitcoin for the greater good of bitcoin and probably more reward in the future. I have also been able to buy some for myself and also holding. But there is this concern that usually pop up in my head anytime I am meditating and that is what will happen if everyone is holding their bitcoin and no one is willing to sell. This can possibly happen in the future when mining reward becomes too small. I know some people will say that miners will continue to mine and sell to sustain their business but when there is reduced selling, will mining still be a profitable business?

If this question appear dumb, please pardon me, I just need clarifications.
Holding Bitcoins is good for financial gains but it's too egoistical to my mind. Money has to be in circulation in order to have an active economy, an increased number of users and usage. What's the point of holding gold if you are not going to use it? There is no point, life only becomes better when people start investing and working. Besides being an asset, Bitcoin is a payment method which makes it more attractive to be used regularly.
By the way, keep in mind that there are many people that buy high sell low, so don't expect that there will be a huge number of people who will hold bitcoin and won't sell. Many traders buy high sell low instead of buy low sell high.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Funds are SAFU": Here we go again, but with Coinbase! on: March 01, 2024, 04:37:01 PM
Panicking Coinbase users woke up today to find their bitcoin balances at $0 because of a technical glitch.

Source: https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/bitcoin-s-price-surge-briefly-broke-coinbase/ar-BB1j4tNN

Well at least they were lucky that it was just a glitch! I will never understand why normal people are keeping their coins in an exchange and not even in a software wallet. People who are not trading coins do not need to use an exchange. It is just ridiculous seeing people on X/Twitter having a mental breakdown over this even after hearing about "not your keys, not your coins" so many times.
If I remember correctly, two years ago they had a glitch but that glitch was very positive for customers. Georgian national currency was priced 100x more than it was. E.G. 1 USD was equal of Gel 290 instead of Gel 2.90 and that let Georgians to make 100x profit out of thin air.

Btw Binance had similar glitch in 2021 and even more dangerous was the moment when Bitcoin crash after Elon Musks's and China's statement and it was impossible to sell Bitcoin while the price was crashing and crashing because their servers and system went down.

Btw I don't understand why people ignore not your key not your coins advice. FTX went down and people still hold most of their coins on exchanges, so, this small glitch is not going to change their mind.
307  Other / Off-topic / Re: Having a regular/steady income is important as a gambler. on: March 01, 2024, 10:07:29 AM
I'll say those are quite an eye-opening statistics you got there. Indeed the odds are really staked against the gamblers, and the individuals that run the casinos are really the ones who are truly benefiting from the all the gambling activities in the end. This also explains why casinos are often seen as the house of cards, they are designed to give the general public the illusion that winning is very easy and that the chances of winning are more than that of losing, while in reality it's quite the opposite, the vast majority of people who gamble there will end up losing. With this in mind, it's preposterous how people often get addicted to gambling, it's almost like they're all chasing a mirage.
Casinos do not really hide the fact they have an edge on every single one of their games, after all the odds of winning are clear and the payouts are explicitly stated, so anyone that takes a moment to make some calculations will get to see that no matter what bet they make, the casinos have an advantage over them.

If people get addicted is because they have deceived themselves into thinking they can beat the casinos, and once they fail on achieving this goal they get obsessed with it and try to demonstrate that beating them is possible.
No one hides that casinos have an advantage over you, it's the 21st century, and everyone knows about house edge, casinos state that publicly and you can also see the RTP (Return To Player) on most of their games, some casinos even show you live RTP.

Let's return to the topic. Having a regular income is a very important thing for gambler because usually lack of income source is the main reason of gambling addiction. When someone doesn't have regular income and loses in a casino, that person tries to recover what he lost and that's when the addiction develops. Steady income gives them the possibility to relax if they lose and wait till they receive salary, so there is no need to rush if you lose.
308  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 01, 2024, 09:02:33 AM
The Internet already has complaints and scam accusations, surprisingly not here (that we're aware of), but as mentioned above - they must, must change the business model or the site will crash eventually.

The numbers of how many users gamble is also not higher like before, those classic old games, HI LO, is not enough to attract users.
We're talking from our own experience.

For us in order to sustain our business we allow only 1 free roll a day, and even that is something we're looking how to change.

There is no way in the world to survive with the current business model, you don't have to trust us but trust our experience, we're sharing it for a good reason. For more info just watch the video above. Enough said.

I don't think that Freebitco is going to die. They are not only a faucet site anymore, they prioritize dice and bets events. They have many good promotions like Lambo, daily jackpot, lottery tickets and are probably one of the few ones that don't ask for KYC documents. Faucet reward is so low that to my mind, those who claim it, have to spend it again on games like Dice, I don't think there is really anyone who lives on faucet, I don't think freebitco would continue their business with loss. They have side projects like dplay, club riches, that offer many games and modern casino experience and even if freebitco dies, they'll prioritize these projects. Btw people still actively gamble on primedice.com, keep that in mind.
309  Economy / Economics / Re: I went London i have questions now the wealthy life there on: March 01, 2024, 07:29:11 AM
I went London 2 days Ago i was in central London and Kensington area.
I went out Also shopping and harrods.
I have questions....like how it's possible wealth are everywhere you can literally smell the smell of money and Wealth i been traveling many places....and i haven't seen this kind of happy life people was in coffe shops Everthing happy and wealthy.
To be honest i fallling love with central London the vibe there was so good and people so happy and wealthy.

What's the business they are in ? I mean i did not seen any Crisis i been told that UK are in Crisis i did not seen crisis all i saw was just abudamce and i spoted in 30min at least 10 Rolce Royces...and not just average but custom made versions.
I was surprised in stores i could not even move it was full of people crowded all over... What Crisis in UK ?
People who live Actually in UK can you explain to me ?
Are the wages are good in UK ? Becouse this kind of wealth not Even in new york i been in NYC there is a lot visible poverty and homeless people the streets not looking like it's some wealth paradize compared with London UK Also i been in Canada cities they are Nice but the huge wealth doesn't flash out like London i mean in London it's grazy how much wealth you gona see it got me thinking Are UK London living standard are higher than other countries?

My question is are people actually that rich or they just to like to show off ?
You can visit poor countries and still see the same lifestyle. I am from a poor country and there are some areas in my city where people pay hundreds of dollars in fancy restaurants, show up with very expensive cars and etc. You won't believe but in a country with an average 400$ a month salary, almost everyone owns iPhone. But when you visit their houses, you'll be amazed when you see how poor they look inside. Don't be amazed when you see that kind of lifestyle in London but always remember that that's not how everyone lives. Those people have such a good life because other people work very hard to earn money to buy food and feed their families, provide them with basics. You won't see this part of people in a central square with a Ferrarri.
310  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: February 29, 2024, 07:09:39 PM
Just free enter, PILiHoo wins.
If a winner named PILiHoo is registered on the forum with any username, then I would like to congratulate him.
30 ETH or around $90,000 is a sensational win.

Additional input on this recent win. The winner just spend 0.2ETH on his 2106 entries which is insane ROI for him. This is the beauty of luck based competition since anyone has a chance the big jackpot compared to wager based that usually whales dominate the game.

I try to play to few days ago and manage to win 5$ on daily tournament despite I only wager small amount.
You know what's the best addition? A huge and successful bull run during the moment when you know that you have won the coins but need some time to cooperate with the casino to withdraw your winnings but during that time, your asset is getting more expensive and you are probably grateful that you didn't have the possibility to withdraw them immediately.

Winners of the competition and promotion have probably enjoyed the current bull run. Hopefully, they didn't cash it out right away after receiving it, as the price of bitcoin has increased a lot in the last few days. Congratulations to the winners! I guess no one has claimed to be a winner here on the forum, as I haven't seen any posts about it.

Let's enjoy the bull run now, bitcoin is currently at $62k, new ATH incoming!
It would be good if winner was from Bitcointalk but it will still be very good if the winner reaches to this ANN thread. It's too hard to not convert those Ethereum into cash immediately.
311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Support, do not criticize. on: February 29, 2024, 04:55:08 PM
If you know anybody trying to stop the addiction of gambling to become better for themselves and their family, try and show them support by not criticizing them. If you observe that they experience some kind of relapse and go back to gamble even when they said they were not going to gamble, try to encourage them to remember why they wanted to stop gambling for the time. It is not an easy decision for some of them to make, and even imagining that they will never gamble again can make it worse for them, most of them need all the support they can get to help them maintain the decision to give gambling some time away. If you criticize and mock them, they may nurse in the heart the mindset that gambling is impossible to stop, or even stop trying to stop gambling because you have already made them feel like they can never do it.
I think it's important to talk about this issue and supportive care. Many people don't realize that it's adding fuel to the fire when they are strict and aggressive toward addicted gamblers. The best approach in this case, like you said, is to be supportive even when they fail. I was reading about scientific research that stated that it's easy for an addict to recover if they get love and care from their family. Usually, a bad life is the reason for every addiction, people feel depressed because of a bad relationship with their family and become addicted to gambling because gambling makes you a little high. Gambling addicts need support from their families instead of anger and criticism, society needs to be enlightened about that.
312  Other / Meta / Re: Lock the 1xBit thread. on: February 29, 2024, 04:06:00 PM
This forum is as free as possible, I don't think moderators will ban it because it's getting spammed cause it's an ann thread created by a casino and they haven't requested to lock the topic. They can come and ask, why did you locked my topic and they'll be right.
1xBit thread is partially abused by some people to increase the number of posts but at the same time, there are still many people who become victims of this casino. When someone becomes a victim and is looking for support, bitcointalk.org traditionally appears in their Google search result. It's easy for newcomers to find ANN thread on Google, click on it, register and post their problems there. If we lock it, then they'll be confused about where to post about their problem. I think it's better to report spammers with an explanation for moderators to really remove their comments.
313  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io| 💸Join BetFury Crypto Staking |🔥Get the highest APRs up to 170% on: February 29, 2024, 03:50:29 PM
I doubt that we will see BFG rising up in price, so definitely it's better to stake it for other coins... at least those other coins have a higher chance for some future rise in price.

In comparison with many other crypto currencies BFG performed extremely well and you get on top % return so it's not such a bad investment.
BFG didn't perform extremely well to my mind. I don't know what its price was during the ICO era but according to coinmarketcap.com, Betfury's price in 2021 was 0.029$ per token, now it's 0.017$. In the last month, it didn't increase in price, it's going up and down, on average, the price is the same.
BFG is definitely not a bad investment, it gives you up to 50% APY. APY up to 50% is an amazing promise and it's even good that price isn't going down that much to make your investment wasted. Btw my favourite coin remains Rollbit Token.
314  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BITSLER.com (e)Sportbook and Casino: Millions of bonus monthly on: February 26, 2024, 08:22:41 PM
Funny that you are asking just now - why you might be wondering? Because I met them in person just a couple of days ago in London (iGB/ICE conference) and I have only good words to share about them - we have had a great discussion about the industry in general and talked about many things. We didn`t really talk much about Bitcointalk though.

By the way, Bitsler were not only present at the conference, they even had their own booth (for the 1st time ever), which is amazing!

Us, here on Bitcointalk, we tend to "overrate" the value of this forum for gambling advertisement but I will have to agree of course that bumping your thread every once in a while would make sense.
I believe they would have their own booth, Bitsler is one of the most amazing and unique crypto casino, and I like them very much. I am asking you this because they were very actively promoting their casino on Bitcointalk and the USD value that they sent out was $430 000 during the 3 years of the active signature campaign.
I think that this forum, at least in the past, did something to make Bitsler popular, they wouldn't spend half a million for no reason and I remember in 2016-2017 they had one of the popular forum members hired in their signature campaign. It really makes me sad that they left this forum, it would be a honor to see them at least being active here and offering new promotions for bitcointalk members.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: February 26, 2024, 07:54:10 PM
For me, Merab Dvalishvili is even more qualified than his friend Aljamain Sterling to become the champion for the Bantamweight Division right now that Aljamain Sterling has moved up the Division to featherweight let his friend Merab Dvalishvili champion in the Bantamweight I think that he has more potential in kicking Sean O'Malley in his place for me Sterling will be having a hard time against Ilia Topuria, but yeah Dvalishvili will be champion and I hope this year,

WOW! never seen that UFC is very popular in your country and pretty much because of his last performance against Henry Cejudo he became even more popular, I really like his jolly nature and not bragging about things so for me Merab Dvalishvili is a future champion for sure.
To be fair, Dvalishvili's and Aljamain Sterling's brotherhood is a little bit strange. In Georgia, such brotherhood exists but as far as I know, it's impossible to find a person with that belief in the USA because our mentality is very different.
UFC is not popular in my country, it has never been. In my country, Judo, Wrestling and Rugby are very popular. UFC is becoming popular because of Dvalishvili and Topuria are achieving a huge success. Their success makes UFC popular here. I don't know if you remember #NBAvote ZazaPachulia, Georgians are extremely supportive when a person from their nation wins something or achieves success.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 26, 2024, 10:29:42 AM
Klopp has a first title in this season with Liverpool for his last season with them. They are going to fight in Premier League and Europa League and are doing well. I hope they will win at least one more title in this season as a celebration for Klopp and a happy goodbye after all best they have together over nearly 10 years.

Van Dijk has yet been back to his best if we consider his performances throughout this season but in a single match, he can have excellent performance like this final match.
Talking about opportunities, it may be true that this season Jurgen Klopp has high hopes of bringing another trophy to Liverpool before he leaves. But we also can't ignore Man City because Pep Guardiola also intends to maintain what they got last season and now the opportunity to chase points is still quite open because they are only 1 point behind Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp has indeed succeeded in making Liverpool one of the strongest teams in the Premier League during his time as coach. But last season their performance was a little less promising because they were unable to qualify for the Champions League.

Jurgen Klopp must be wary of Man City because they always play consistently before the season ends and we can see how they were able to catch Arsenal in points in the previous season even though the distance was not close. This must be taken seriously because if Liverpool is careless, Man City will top the standings and Liverpool will compete much more fiercely.
A match between Liverpool and Manchester City is scheduled in 10 March. They have to play three matches before they face each other. To be fair, I believe that this clash between Klopp and Guardiola will be one of the hardest clash. Klopp is leaving Liverpool soon and I believe he, as well as his team, will do their best to win the match but at the same time we have Guardiola that is thirsty and motivated like never before and he mentioned that in many of his interviews. Nor Klopp, nor Guardiola is going to slow down. It will be a very interesting match to see.
317  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 www.l0tt0.com ⚡ casino games like you've never seen! 🏆 on: February 26, 2024, 10:01:50 AM
Btw your affiliate terms are amazing, 20% of the net loss sounds great but isn't that too risky for you?
How can it be risky if the commission is based on net loss of the affiliate? There are some casinos that offers up to 70% commission based on the same thing (net loss). I do even think that this kind of affiliate is the safest for the casino because there is no way that will spend money from their own pocket since the casino take it from user's loss only.
Casinos offer 70% commission not based on the net loss but based on the RTP or house edge. Here is the calculation of how affiliate works on many casinos: ((100 - RTP) / 100 * wagered / 2) * commission rate.
OP offers 20% of the net loss, which is super amazing. As I understood, that means that if your affiliate loses 1 btc, 0.20 btc is yours. OP please correct me if I am wrong.

final designs don't come over night, to count to 10 you need to go through all the other numbers.
thanks for the input. it will get there.
Yes, we know that the final design takes research, development and time but I wanted to give you my opinion, I think it will be better to move from pixelated design to something better. Everything else is on you, I don't know your customers well.
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump's stance on Bitcoin is changing on: February 26, 2024, 09:03:13 AM
Having previously called Bitcoin a scam, I was really surprised to hear Donald Trump put out some good words about Bitcoin. My question is what really changed? First, he publicly condemned CBDC and labelled it a surveillance tool and now he's saying he can accept Bitcoin. To be honest, I find hard to believe that his comments are genuine. He's a politician and will always talk like one, he's saying all this to garner support for the forth coming election.
He is like a fox, he doesn't like Bitcoin but he knows that he needs votes and does everything to attract as many people as possible to win the election. I hope that no one will believe any of his promises because politicians always lie, they tell lots of lies before the election and once they win, they forget what they were telling. He is a crazy man that tasted the power of being president of the United States and now he does everything to gain that power back.
319  Other / Off-topic / How to create a beautiful QR code for address, avatar, etc... on: February 25, 2024, 01:10:51 PM
I wanted to create a beautiful QR codes for my business and once I found a great way, I decided that it would be a good idea to share it with you guys because you can use this QR code to show off your Bitcoin address, bitcoin website or it can be a good way for signature campaigns to create a beautiful QR code avatars that will also keep their graphics visible.

I created a beautiful QR code for bitcointalk.org, just see and scan it:

These are the steps to follow:

1. Visit qrcodechimp.com and be sure that URL class is active (it's active by default). Registration is free.

2. Type your crypto website if you want others to visit your website when they scan QR code or type bitcoin:youraddress if you want to create a Bitcoin QR code.

3. On the right side, you have tools for customization

4. You can change the color of qr code, you can change the shape (body type, eye frame type, eye ball type, increase or decrease stroking and scaling), add logo in the center of QR code or generate a QR code with your image as a background.

It's a very handy feature for signature campaigns and campaign managers too because instead of just an avatar, they can create a scannable avatar. I created one as an example for Bitsler

If you have a question, ask me and I'll try to help.

It is all speculation if Merab Dvalishvili is using PEDs then the UFC will surely test him if he is positive or not because even though the USADA is not in the UFC anymore there are other organizations that are testing the fighters with drugs like this if that company is not transparent with the results then the UFC is likely just controlling the test results if they are not transparent with the fighters results.
I agree, people just can't accept that Dvalishvili is the goat. He is a very motivated and talented individual who did everything to become a UFC fighter, he is exceptional and people can't accept that.

Guys just check what I found. In my country, Georgia (Dvalishvili is Georgia) I found a boxing punch machine with Dvalishvili's image on it. It's very good, most of the time I was seeing only Tyson and Conor McGregor, now there is Dvalishvili on many machines and I hope they'll put Topuria on them too.
Btw what's your record guys?
