301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has alt season started? on: November 19, 2019, 02:42:11 AM
Actually the market is looking so steady .I am not watching any huge altcoins pump so how can i say the time is being started .We are still in huge loss and didn't recover yet .I hope we will get a huge pump in near future what help us to recover our whole loss.
As you can see that stability was not real, the market was artificially inflated two weeks ago and slowly it is returning to its real value, there are no investors buying altcoins or even bitcoin and when that happens the price needs to go down, how low the market will go? I do not know but I hope that investors sold their altcoins long time ago since all of those speculations about an altcoin season were just that, speculations, and we can safely say there will not be an altcoin season during this year.
302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Trade By The News, Follow The Price Action on: November 19, 2019, 02:12:06 AM
News is not always true and news is only manipulated to make traders confused, but there is also good and accurate news that can help you.
accommodating news is a good thing and makes you think smart in evaluating all the news and will be your consideration as a choice, but the best choice is a choice from yourself and from the heart.
Trading the news is a mistake, by the time you get to know about the news and you think about the possible repercussions that it could have in the market, the market has already reacted to it, you need to react to what the price is doing, that is what I do and sometimes you are going to find that there is a reason for the movement that you are seeing but sometimes there is no reason for it and you just have to accept it and make a trade.
it all depends on what the contents of the news if we can analyze the impact of the news on the market, I will certainly follow it. I often follow the news and several times also I benefit from following the news. because we must remember by the saying, buy when rumors sell when news releases.
I still think it is not a good idea, those sayings come from a time when traders will all be in the same room trading together, in those days the rumours got to you before the news were published and you could act before anyone else if you got a hot tip, but now that the news can be printed incredibly fast and the news can be all over the Internet in a matter of seconds trading the news or even rumours does not have the same success rate as before.
303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: November 19, 2019, 01:52:41 AM
Totally a matter of personal preference. If someone is a bit lazy but clever one, he should go with long term trading. That will save him the trouble of checking the changing prices every other moment. However, his holding must be a potential one like bitcoin so that his wait will not become a waste eventually. Short term trading is the better one and hectic one too. Within short time, trader can earn more.
You can earn more if you are a short term trader but you can lose more as well, short term trading is by far the most difficult way to trade and yet it is the most popular amongst newbies and that is definitely a problem, it is better in this market to start your journey in a slow way and only try long term trades and you can change this once you have corroborated you can be successful, but very few try this approach and eventually suffer the consequences of not doing so.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of tokens on: November 19, 2019, 01:13:16 AM
The presence of tokens had brought a good direction for crypto, unfortunately now it's easier to make tokens so that many token-based projects are used for scam projects, and now many tokens are dead.
It is now easier than ever for anyone that is interested to create their own tokens but at the same time this has decreased the demand for icos as there are so many of them that many do not know where to invest their money, so scammers that in the past could get millions of dollars very easily are now finding that just getting a couple of hundreds of dollars is becoming really difficult, and I am glad since it was about time those scammers stopped profiting from the naive in this market.
305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prediction 2020 - 2021 on: November 17, 2019, 03:38:54 AM
It's very bullish the new stable price is in the 7k-10k range. Once we have decreased selling pressure from the miners at the halving and continue sat stacking we should see a nice rise. I would expect us to hit 25-30k in late 2020 with 50k possible. To mars. time to retire.
Those kind of predictions are becoming common in the forum but bitcoin has a tendency to be unpredictable, I recall that when bitcoin was 20k everyone was talking about the price reaching 80k or even 100k and out of nowhere the price collapsed, during this year when the recovery had not started some were talking about bitcoin going back to 1k, now that I see so many traders thinking positively about the next year I have huge doubts it will happen.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to earn crypto without investing or mining on: November 17, 2019, 03:12:11 AM
Also we can get free crypto by participating in bounty campaigns. That is different kind of campaigns like: Social media activity, translation, article writing, creative campaigns or sognature campaign. Also we can get passive earning when hold some coins.
That has been a waste of time during the last year and this year has not been that much better, there was a time in which participating in those campaigns was extremely profitable but since then many things have happened that has limited the effectiveness of participating in those campaigns, icos began to ask for KYC information, then the market crashed, no one wanted to invest in icos which made a lot of projects fail before they even began and scammers did not paid bounty hunters after they completed their job.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL Bounty campaigns Ever Keep to their Rules and Regulations on: November 17, 2019, 01:35:10 AM
Well as far as i know before we join we have to agree all terms and rules. If you aware you cant do anything if you agree with that. Also bounty campaign is doing easy task not like in real life job. I dont really mind if i got scammed or not payed its just common problems.
Most bounty hunters will have no problem keeping with the rules of the campaign but for a long time many of those campaigns include a rule which basically allows them to change the rules whenever they want without repercussions against them, so when there is an issue bounty hunters cannot really complain since the developers can always point out to that rule and avoid paying them after months of work, and then those same developers complain that no one wants to invest or promote their projects. Go figure. Roll Eyes
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners now is your chance on: November 17, 2019, 01:16:02 AM
Start buying altcoins before its too late, the red market you are all complaining about is a big opportunity for those who knows that altcoin time will arrive, all you need to do is ....

1. Buy altcoins that have real use cases or backed with real wprking product, they tend to always have value better than copied projects.

2. Take it or leave it, new good projects will bring better ROI than many old altcoins, feels like we've seem how far old altcoins can go already, now its new altcoins time.
The first advice that you give is correct but it is up to each person to decide if they want to invest when altcoins are still in such a bad shape, but your second advice is terrible, that will only work if the altcoin season began right now, if it was delayed for 6 months then whatever coins that you bought will not go up in value as most likely similar coins will be in the market already, we must remember those coins go up in value just because of the hype and it is difficult to generate it for an old and useless coin.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin and alts on: November 16, 2019, 04:54:12 AM
if bitcoin retraces now soon what will happen to alts? will they fall with it or will they rise how will it play out?

If Bitcoin rises, altcoin will also rise. Because altcoin is also very dependent on Bitcoin. Although the price of Altcoin doesn't go up, because the price of Bitcoin is high also makes a lot of money.
We know that if bitcoin goes up by necessity altcoins will go up as well, what it is happening is that altcoins are getting way behind bitcoin when it comes to their growth, bitcoin by far has been the best performing coin during this year, you could find some exceptions among the altcoins but it does not matter altcoins have been going down even further when compared against bitcoin and investors are getting desperate by this lack of reaction from altcoins.
310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip! on: November 16, 2019, 03:42:52 AM
Buying every dip is easy to say, but difficult to identify the dip (for me at least!)

Every time the price of bitcoin drops I am afraid of the point that it is going to stop or it will be ongoing for a long time. Looking at charts and trying to make my TA sometimes prove me wrong!

Yes, I agree with you, it's very easy to say, but it's quite difficult if practiced. for example, right now the price of bitcoin is down from $ 9,000 to $ 8,800 in my opinion this is a good opportunity to buy. but sometimes people are afraid that the value will go down again so they postpone buying hoping the price can drop even lower. but if I will still decide to buy even if the value of bitcoin goes down again I won't regret buying. because I'm sure that in the future bitcoin prices will pump even higher. I just need to wait and be patient until bitcoin is bullish.
Buying the dip is better practiced regularly, if you try to predict when the market has reached the bottom then you are going to be disappointed with your performance, it is better to buy bitcoin whenever you have some money available and the price is going down, on average you will obtain a better price than those that buy all the bitcoin they can in one go, but this strategy requires from you that you hold your coins for a long time before you see good gains.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you any new ideas to replace the KYC? on: November 16, 2019, 01:04:00 AM
The crypto market is decentralized, we live here as anonymous and free and we love it! But this KYC process is killing the anonymity of crypto! To invest in a good IEO you need to verify KYC, to do a good bounty project, you will have to go through KYC! But why? You guys are doing nothing with our KYC, then why you keep asking our identity? A selfie by holding my ID card, wtf! Did we ever ask you to verify your KYC when you launch a project/bounty?  Why you are not coming with another option where a freedom crypto member doesn't need to show his face?

Ok, guys, now my question to you, Have you any idea what can be good to replace the KYC method?
All of those asking for KYC are not doing it because they like it or because they want it they are being forced by governments to do it, so there is nothing that could be done to avoid it unless governments decide to back off and stop their demands but they will never do it, governments changed from their original reason to be which was a way to ensure the security of their citizens to an institution that wants to know everything you are doing all the time.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: November 16, 2019, 12:38:23 AM
How not to get scammed simple:

1. Don't trust your money to anyone on the internet
2. Do not Join on HYIPs and Ponzis (Don't be greedy being greedy is highly falls into the trap)
3. If you are investing on a coin research the team the white paper to if the project is copied in someone else's project

Just follow that and your money will be safe
If only it was this easy, scammers are really smart, they have been trying to find new and innovative ways to scam people for a lot of time, the second point that you bring of not joining HYIP is valid but they have learned to disguise those programs and make it look like something else, and the perfect example are icos, it may seem as if you are investing in a coin that has a lot of potential to grow quickly only to find out a few months later that the coin is a scam and you will never recover your money.
313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be careful with margin trading. (story) on: November 16, 2019, 12:19:12 AM
Emotional patterns emerged yesterday when the price of BTC in binance went wild at $ 8888- $ 8657, this liquidated many users with large leverage in just one hour. this teaches the importance of stop limits and the need to increase capital to increase liquidation distance.
only a small sample because the BTC movement is still in the support phase, margins do have a high risk.
I wonder if those traders ever read a book about trading that was honest about the huge risks of using leverage trading, because when I take the time to look around the Internet about it some articles talk about the risks but only superficially, leverage trading is solely for traders that have a lot of experience and have a very precise idea what to do to earn profits in the markets, and I'm sure that the majority of those that are getting their positions liquidated do not fulfil those requisites.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what will happen if the ethereum price decline continues? on: November 15, 2019, 02:56:17 AM
in mid January 2018 ethereum was in the range of $ 1,377 and that was the highest achievement of ethereum prices in 2018. and in 2019 ethereum there was no significant change, at this time ethereum was still stable with prices fixed or in the range of $ 190.
if the ethereum price decline continues, it looks like the tokens generated from the ethereum platform will not have high selling points and most likely the project developers will also no longer use ethereum's platform. isn't the end like that?
Do not worry about ethereum nothing is going to happen to it, however its price does not seem like it will recover and get to its ATH soon, but look at this from a positive angle, you can still buy ETH for a cheap price and when it finally goes up then you will get huge profits by just holding your ethereum, if the price goes below 100 dollars at some point in the future you should take that opportunity and buy all the ETH you can since it will be an opportunity like no other.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to go crazy again once Bitcoin reaches 20k? on: November 15, 2019, 02:06:29 AM
I think the altcoin season is starting up now. Decred just went from $13 to $23 in a matter of days, that's almost 100% profit. Slowly but surely altcoins will be popping up left and right and you  will be frustrated on what to buy.
A coin or two going up does not really mean anything, we see that in the market all the time an altcoin season is when a significant number of the altcoins begin to go up in a fast way, so far that is not what we are seeing, the market is not growing and it keeps showing a negative tendency and if the price of bitcoin begins to go down then the possibilities to see an altcoin season during the rest of the year will be very low, personally I already gave up on an altcoin season for this year and I am hoping next year will be the year in which we will see it.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now is the time to invest into alt coin on: November 15, 2019, 01:20:01 AM
RN my invest maybe up to 500$ will go into lisk, eth, and waves.. gl luck
Funny to see this written a year ago, and it makes me wonder if Op bought and held onto those coins.  If he did, I think he's probably lost money on his investment.  He had the right idea, buying altcoins while the prices have sunk...the only problem is that when he wrote his post, altcoins just kept sinking.

I would say now might be the time to buy some altcoins, tho I would leave lisk and waves alone.  Eth is a good choice, as I don't think it's going to go down any further.  The whole market got slaughtered in 2018, so there are a lot of bargains to be had.
And that is the problem of buying the dip, at first it may seem like a good idea since you are buying an asset that is undervalued, the issue is that we never really know how far the price of an asset will go and you could buy too early, that should not be a problem if you have in your mind to hold those coins for a very long time in which case you only need to worry about whether or not the asset that you are buying is good, and if it is, you know that you'll get profits but very few have the patience of pulling a strategy like that.
317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the day trading profitable ? on: November 15, 2019, 12:35:06 AM
Every form of trading can be extremely profitable, there are only two issues, the first is if you know how to be profitable in that particular form of trading and the second is if you have what it takes to be profitable in that form of trading, in my case while I think I know how to profit from day trading I know I do not have what it takes to be a good day trader, I do not have the time or the ability to take really fast decisions and I cannot sit down in front of my computer all day.

Most people assume that daily trading can take a lot of time, but of course it depends on how we do it. if we can set the time to trade, for example, make a schedule at certain hours to carry out trading activities, of course we can take advantage of the market situation under any circumstances to be able to make a profit, even though the benefits obtained are few.
It is not an assumption, day trading takes a lot of time and there is no way around it, if you want to have access to the best trades then you need to watch the charts for as long as you can, and even more importantly you cannot get distracted while doing so because by the time that you react to the move in the price it could be too late and this is especially true in the market of cryptocurrencies that has a tendency to move really quickly unlike other markets.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: November 15, 2019, 12:14:54 AM
When I first made my Bitcoin investment three years back (back then the exchange rate was $900 per coin), the amount came from my savings. But after 2017, most of the coins that I earned came from various bounty campaigns and airdrops. Now the prices have risen by so much (10x since 2017), that investing any amount in Bitcoin looks very risky.
Investing in bitcoin has not become more risky as time has passed, what it's happening is that during those days bitcoin was affordable but that is not the case anymore, bitcoin is too expensive even for people living in developed countries, there was a thread that exposed the amount of money that each person was saving on average depending of his country of residence and the truth is that very few people have any meaningful savings that they can use to invest in bitcoin.
319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: November 14, 2019, 02:45:46 AM
One disadvantage in long term trading is that we can't sure if able to reach our expectations and gain more profits. We could only have this assurance if we only hold Bitcoin as we know its high potentiality over the other which we could expect that price may soar high in the future. Other from that, it will be a big struggle for us.

What makes difficult in Daily Trading is the high risk of losing especially when you are a high emotional trader. There is only a thin chance of making money here which is difficult for beginners and might only suffer consequences of losing.

Why this disadvantage only applied to long term trading, when even on day trading you can't be if you can reach to expectation.

Daily trading does not mean you need take risk on every movement of the price.

A newbie can choose an in-between path. Just buy some good coin and set a expected selling price whenever you reach the goal sell it. Else hold it.
Newbies do not really have the necessary skills to select a price that can be achievable in order to sell when their goal is reached, besides something that happens a lot is that when their goal is reached newbies have the tendency to want to keep holding because they get greedy and they want to earn even more profits in the process and then when they least expect it the price begins to crash and any profits they may have are erased relatively quickly and instead of having some profits now they have losses.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has alt season started? on: November 14, 2019, 02:21:12 AM
It is too soon to buy altcoins, you would be right if the altcoin season was just around the corner but I do not see it that way, so the best option is to wait and avoid making any kind of move, I know you will not be able to buy at the bottom of the market if you do this, but very few traders do and the ones that did it will claim that it was a matter of skill but most likely it was because of luck, let the market play itself and only buy good altcoins once the bitcoin dominance goes down.
Altcoin season probably hasn't really started because right now I only see the top coins rising and there hasn't been any change for all altcoins. We are still in bear market at the moment and are all happening unexpectedly so I do not believe in any predictions of others. If you want the altcoin season to appear, then you should analyze this market yourself because until now everything has not been too much difference compared to last year.

The only problem here is that profits and investors only consider altcoin as a tool to make money . Before investing, take some time to analyze the volatility of that coin to avoid unnecessary risks.
There was a time in which investors thought that altcoins could be a way to improve the development of this market but since then I have understood that altcoins are only good for one purpose and that is to make money with them but it is not a good idea to invest in any altcoin, there are thousands of them and it is impossible to invest in every single one of them or to try to analyze them all so the only option is to only invest in popular altcoins like ethereum.
