essentially, why does OCMINEr new windows compiled binary not come with CPUMINER.exe so the .bat file doesnt work anyways??
because its not compiled for windows. look at the date it specifically says compiled version for windows... Compiled Version for Windows @ocminer ocminer released this on Oct 5 · 4 commits to master since this release Please Virusscan before using ! Compiled version for Windows by contributor. Downloads Source code (zip) Source code (tar.gz) on GITHUBPAGE so why isnt there a working windows compiled miner if it says its right there??? i bolded it for you to see it better. Oct 5. Its Nov 24 now. So he hasn't added windows binaries. |

A little off topic but does ping time have an effect on mining? I just switched to the US pool on suprnova. Time went from 170-200ms to 90-100ms. Just wondering if it makes any difference?
its better, always use server that is closer to your location eg. has smaller ping |

r9 380 2gb strix can go even higher than 24 mh/s

I have one of those - it SUCKS. Somehow, even with *custom* timings, not a copied strap, it STILL sucks ass. i get 24 mh/s with 380 strix so no, it doesn't sucks so bad. |

yep, good idea, many are having the issue that some1 is changing the miner settings and stealing this way the hash power.....
that is because people are opening their rigs to the world (internet) without using a firewall. Can't blame anyone except themselves. |

Sorry for that memory vendor you got - terrible luck. I personally would seriously consider taking it back if I got one with Micron, but it's rare they go THAT cheap. Oh no, luckilly i did not buy this card, a friend of mine got it for a good price, so i was just considering buying a few pieces, but i suppose its better if i stick to sapphire. |
