Some news from the dev? We are paying money afterall, it is not like it's free :/
lol. There is just a dev fee: this doesn't entitle us - users - the right to have updates. We are lucky to have dev like this one who provide us with competitive soft, even at a fee: frequently optimized miners are exclusively developped for private big farms ... Of course open source soft are better but usually most users don't donate to dev, therefore a dev fee is rather a good compromise... Amen to this brother

You are a scammer and no, you didn't do the work. The developer did the work which you want to take credit for by compiling their work and distributing the executable, breaking the GPL license and screwing the developer out of his voluntary fee.
While I hear your point, I think 1% of ALL MINING CAPACITY OF THE ENTIRE WORLD is wayyy too much for someone who took a miner and modified it for a new algo. The 1% is like owning 100 x 7GPU mining rigs or something like that. The miner fee is OK but should be a lower reasonable amount. In case of JUST XMR, the 1% Developer fee currently equates to over $110,000 PER WEEK with ZERO electricity cost. That is just ONE coin. No copy/modify/fork/paste software developer deserves that much unless they are Satoshi himself. Xmr stak developers did not took a miner and modify it, they wrote it all from zero ground. So they deserve the 1%.

Why do you want to know the devfee address?
"Address the devfee" has a different meaning, he wanted to know the actual percentage the dev takes as the fee and not his wallet's address. lol sorry, i was still drunk and misunderstood

install C++ redistributable 2013 x86
|
|
|
"The application is unable to start correctly" dialog box appears on start. It's Win 7 SP1 x64, on Windows 10 it works. Have VS2015, 2013, 2012, 2008 x64 i x32 runtimes installed.
Edit: It turned out I didn't had C++ redistributable 2013 x86 installed. After I installed it, it started working. Thanks Microsoft for this DLL hell ...
Very helpful, this should go in the first post cause i lost a few hours too figuring this out. I tried every x64 version of the redistributable files first lol.
