When trying to send DBIX from my local wallet (v2, gdbix 1.5), nothing happens after clicking the send button, i mean like totally nothing.
Checksum is OK, everything is ok. No error, nothing.
Anyone managed to send coins with this new version?

AMD doesn't care about the mining community, but it will be a nice surprise if they do fix the DAG thing with a new driver.

From this point of view, I think weird API is better than no API at all.

Wrong, no API had been better, as people would just use other tools, they used earlier.
This way they blame the miner software, like you said.

My best Samsung timings still do 33MH/s+ on my 580, so I would think so.

Core 1550, mem 2250 ? Cheesy

Yes, maybe sometimes they just take an open source code and REWORK IT, but that is like tuning a car. Using their time and knowledge.

They sell their knowledge, like lawyers do for example. Nobody is forced to buy their reworked software.

Only, the license of that Open Source code-base expressively FORBIDS not distributing the derivate work's source code.

Open Source doesn't mean "take it and do whatever you want". It means "take it and do with it whatever the license allows you to". Otherwise, it's simply theft. Certainly no one is going to sue him, but that's the same as stealing from a baby. Baby ain't gonna shoot you but you literally stole.

I dont' know about ccminer, but sgminer has it's own code, and opencl kernel files.
If he supplies his own kernel file, nothing in the miner source has to be changed.

### CWI-MINING - CWIGM

hi all ...

an update on our main page here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1563601.msg20503842#msg20503842 ...

for those that are skeptical about the current state of miners and mining ( and rightly so ) - one massive piece of advice from us veterans in the industry ... DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE - and research well ...

those of us who have been 'around the traps' and have respect for the communities and ourselves - can always be counted on ... those that are there for nothing more than the 'profit' and self-gain ( especially those who evangelize themselves as 'good devs' - let alone 'good people' ) are the ones to watch out for ... their peers will tell more about them than they will ...

we have started our project because WE TOO were fed up with the garbage that was out there - and the so called 'good devs' that have been ripping the communities off for SO LONG ...

so do your research -due diligence - and make your decisions based on that and that alone ...

respect goes a long way ... and those that show none - get none ... especially those that show no respect to the the communities that FEED them - let alone support them ...

#crysx

so, with your miner, if optimized as fast as private miners everyone will be on a level playing field as long as they use your miner/pools without any initial miner fees? not sure how i feel about this... made a good bit of profit with spmod before everyone started giving it away.  either way it should be fun to witness 'THE GREAT DEV BATTLE OF 2017'

well put ...

but it is this selfish attitude that has made sp rich ...

first - 'stealing' ( thats his word - not mine ) other peoples code and privatizing it ( read - breaking the GPL license ) and RESELLING it WITHOUT sourcecode - when he should be providing the source code with it ... its NOT sp thats doing the work - its the other devs ... sp tweaks and messes with the code to make it that little bit faster - still a talent nonetheless and he is talented in doing that ... yet he STILL sells OTHER DEVELOPERS code as 'his' private miner ... breaking every license in the book ... yet he still manages to convince people like yourself the he is doing all the work - hehehe ... not only do you pay for the miner - he has already stated that others are 'stealing' his code - so a fee is already slated and implemented - then you also have to pay for the pool fee for the pool you mine on ... how much do you think you actually get for that small increase in hashrate? ...

second - CWIgm miner is NOT 'as fast as ' other miners insofar as hashrate is concerned ... we have a brought it out for Closed Beta purely for the stability basis ... our own PRIVATE miner is much faster than this ( Class A Optimization ) - and has a higher hashrate that spmod also ... all of spmod ... we will not release this one - as the code is still public ... and unlike that so called 'honest' dev sp - if we release it - we WILL provide the source for it ... guess what sp does in return for this wonderful thing that we have worked so hard for? ... yup - copy it - mess withsome of the code - PRIVATIZE it by breaking the GPL license - and resell it as his 'own' spmod#whatevernumber ... no tanx ...

we test purely for the stability of the miner - so we can eventually include it in our private miner and pool system - that WILL be for the community ... how - is of no concern of anyones - yet ...

the issue with being in front by a couple of hashes is simply greed ... 0.05btc for the spmod miner - THEN a 2.5% 'dev' fee when you mine - THEN a pool fee between 1-2% on average ... how money you think you have burned - and you call it a 'profit' ? ... if you stay out in front - great - if not - there are developers who are NOT greedy and have 400GPU in there local farm and more than 1000GPU in remote farm like sp has ... if that mentality is what yopu have to stay 'in front' of the market - then please - go waste your money on sp ... because from now on - all the help we ( i personally especially ) gave him when he first started out - will be the one thing that will work against him ... and any other dev that tries to screw the communities for the type of money he is making off YOUR back ...

if that doesnt concern you - it should ...

but as it stand - no one seems to care - except us ...

im not attacking you in any way - as you do bring up a very good solid point ... but you see - there is more to life that ripping the miners off ( especially the smaller ones that cannot afford these high fees and costs ) - there is MINING and CRYPTO and the FUN of it ... not the deliberate acts of screwing communities for money to line their own pockets ...

we here at ChainWorks Industries (CWI) do much more than mine ... which setup us apart from almost all the others ... AND we open our doors and infrastructure to those that actually commit to the communities and crytpo in general - bringing much more than higher hashrates to convince people to part with their hard earned ( and mined ) money ...

sp will be sp - as he should be ... he will do what he does ... same with wolf0 ( a great dev in his own right ) - as with palgin - and djm34 and tpruvot etc ... we will do what we need to do to grow and help the crypto community become MUCH better - and conversely the crypto community help us CWI become MUCH better also ...

battle of the devs? ... hardly ... we dont want to battle him - or any other ... we would rather work together with them - but only those that have the decency to make crypto better ... not just for this coin - or another - but in general ...

more needs to be done on this algo - and hopefully tribus next ( or another - will see ) ...

#crysx

I must protect those guys, especially wolf, djm and tpruvot cause those guys gave a lot to the community as well.
Just a simple thing, they have knowledge , and that is not something they got overnight. Learning learning learning, years and years.
Yes, maybe sometimes they just take an open source code and REWORK IT, but that is like tuning a car. Using their time and knowledge.

They sell their knowledge, like lawyers do for example. Nobody is forced to buy their reworked software.

@chrysophylax

1.Why did you chose skunk as the first algo for your miner?
2.Are there any plans to involve AMD in the game too, in the near future?

Keep up the good work  Wink

We are all Blindly Mining SIGT Smiley

What are the things that SIGT is trying to solve / achieve?

Its aim is to make some people rich Cheesy

like every coin.
And we all want to get rich, that is why we mine coins, and that is why the developers work on it.

I have an xfx with Upi UP6266, regulator id 0E, and i know nothing about it.
Only that wattool can control it, altough its for IRxxx chips.

These are rare moments when w0lf shares some knowledge  Cool Grin

edit:
ASP1106D has regid of 08 too.

Note that I said it can lie - but usually lies saying it IS an IR3567B when it's not, not the other way round.

Want some real knowledge about that fucking chip? Irritated the fuck out of me that ASUS rebrands them, because even staring at the chip itself will just give you the name they pulled out of their ass, not the real chip's part number... obviously, to add support for it to my linux real-time voltage control/VRM control tools, I needed the real fucking name...

The "ASP1106" is actually an RT8894A. Added support for it to wolfamdvolt ages ago now, but goddamn that one was a bitch.

haha i know, remembered somewhere on some forum in some galaxy you mentioned this chip and how much you hate it Cheesy

Anyone optimized sgminer kernel for ATI ?

The official one is already pretty optimized. Has some issues with chips before Hawaii though.

yeah, tried it on a 270x and it hashes at approx 700khs, but no shares found.
But even if shares were found,well.. 700khs.. ? Cheesy

W0lf has some public kernels for cubehash, fugue, skein, don't know if it would make some speedup .

I have been trying to make those work for older GPUs. Lets see where they take us.

They're DESIGNED for older GPUs, and should work outta the box as long as you know the actual hash func.

Are you interested in working on this, or it's not gonna happen?

Is there coin in it? I *could* do the job asleep with one paw tied behind me.

Waiting on reply to this.

Hah, i thought maybe you are interested in making a faster amd miner and selling it like it's happening with ccminer.
So you can make coins with it, yes Cheesy

lol $125 for a miner

I released this miner 2 days after the launch of signatum. My first buyers made more than $30 per 1080ti card per day.

i'm thankful for your hard work, but you should make a lite version for a small miners with 1 - 2 cards for appropriate price. not everyone here has 11 cards per rig who easily can afford that hefty price imo.

well that is not how things work mate

Hello ALL! How many coins per day (24hr) I can mine with ~170mh/s if I mine in pool supernova?
Thanx!

Are you guys having a constant hashrate with sgminer, or it fluctuates ?
Like after a rejected share my hashrate drops and slowly climbs back up.

HEEEEEEEEEEEEELP PLEASE!
what wrong with mining  on Radeon? Bat looks work , but nothink  ( no shares) 2xHD7950 3GB

stop, don't cry and read back.
Older cards don't work.

Thanks. But how it real, when that cards  good work even on ETH

It's something with the miner software, won't work with older cards.

Hashbag.cc dying ? First can't connect to pool for a long time, then 'no work from pool' this was not a thing 1-2 days ago.
