is anyone mining zclassic with claymores miner? is it possible to do so? what pool are you using? thanks! (btw I searched couldnt find an answer)

a new version will be tomorrow? I used to download a new version every two days - I believe this is a tradition:))))

and every two days we get +20% increase in hashrate (also the diff is going up.. so nothing really changes Smiley)))

Everything happens on purpose. Claymore is smart. Be like Claymore.

148H/s on reference RX480 is OK?

yes
3046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v6.0 on: November 15, 2016, 06:40:21 PM
How are your speeds with "-i 3" vs "-i 4" ?

same
3047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v6.0 on: November 15, 2016, 06:35:47 PM
Very small difference in hashrate with -i 4, I get maybe 5-10 hashes more per rig. Almostno change in wattage though.

i also noticed this, cpu % is also same.. Wonder what's the difference Cheesy
3048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v6.0 on: November 15, 2016, 06:34:43 PM
Can someone point me in the direction to mod the bios on the following for low power consumption or at least better than stock bios mining:

I have rigs with the following :

Powercolor red devil 1330mhx RX 480 8GB
Sapphire nitro rx 470 4gb
sapphire nitro rx 480 4 gb
sapphire nitro rx 480 8 gb

All will use powered risers 1x - 16x if that matters.

These are all about to get installed into rigs for minining and I want to set it right up at the start.

wrong thread.

Difference in -i 2 and -i 4 in POWER CONSUMPTION ?

don't need to rush, you are already 40-50% behind claymore Cheesy

That's even more a reason why I would want to be able to rush and beat him!

that guy is playing with us, i bet he already had prepared a fully optimized private miner that he sold to big farms, and now he is giving us little by little...
His V6 gives :

r9 270 : 70-72 sol
r9 380 : 90-95 sol

lol all these guys are screwing with us...there were 100H/S private miners to big GPU farms out on day 1...changes made to increase hashes from 40-100H/s on 470s were trivial. The public miners were obviously gimped on purpose.

Its actually quite brilliant on what all these guys are doing (with the exception of @mrb I give him HUGE props for creating a public open source miner). They are making huge increments in hashrate, which then enables them to keep increasing their fees, and we all love it (hey why not pay 20-30% fee when my hashrate is doubled...right?) Greed of bitcoin mining game has finally reached GPU miners.

What everyone does not realize is that the only winners are these developers and farms...through these brilliant means they are keeping their share of the mining "pie" the same, while everyone else is fighting over the same scraps...dont forget just because your hashrate doubles means nothing...so does everyone else hashrate. We are actually earning LESS because through this smoke and mirror tactics devs/pools/farms are able to earn more from our expense (and equipment and power costs), AND we are HAPPY with it.

Don't fall for it...I think the best course would be to 100% support mrbs efforts...tip him and the devs working with him what they deserve in donations so that open source miner can quickly catch up to Claymours/optiminers.

I totally agree with you, altough i use claymore miner at the moment because of the mentioned speed.
I like the part "dont forget just because your hashrate doubles means nothing...so does everyone else hashrate" , this is what i am telling my miner friends, but they don't get it, they think they make more profit with the new speedups Cheesy
Mrb,extremal, nerdralph, cudos to you guys, i really appreciate your work and effort.
I myself am a php programmer, but that language is too stupid compared to c/c++ you are working with on this miner.
Because of your opensource silentarmy i started learning C, and to analyze your code, maybe i learn something.
I like learning new things, altough i know i can't help you with any programming, cause this material is 'too heavy' for me with my php background.
But i will mine to your account a few hours when you release a new version, that will be my mini donation to you guys Smiley

Mr. Claymore,

we are still waiting for AEON support.

and we want mine any coin exists, so could you remove address prefix check please?

what are you talkiing about, you can mine on any pool with this miner
3055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v5.0 on: November 15, 2016, 01:33:25 PM
Thread is about Claymore v5 not electricity

Claymore, is there any space left for optimizing your miner ? Smiley

my old 270 (not X) card give almost 60 sol/s.
r9 380 4gb is about 72 sol/s

hugeeeee improvement.
mrb and guys, do your magic  Grin

claymore did it again, time for payback

How to install silentarmy windows?

read the windows.txt file

You know this won't work cause there is no windows binary (exe) in that zip, so no sa-solver.exe

You missed this part:

Quote
1. download and install python 64bit for windows 64bit

nO, YOU missed the point  Grin
