3121  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Financial Service Providers on: February 11, 2021, 09:20:50 AM
I have heard that there are some sellers of PayPal and WesternUnion transfers
You mean buying and selling PayPal/Western Union accounts?
Since he/she mentioned "transfers", then most likely is an exchange of some sort that involves those payment methods [not a request for buying/selling accounts].

do you know any of these sellers? Please reply me if you got one on my email leo434@protonmail.com
You'll probably get better exposure if you move this thread to the "Currency exchange" board [move button is in the bottom left corner of this page].
- Since you're trying to deal with reversible methods, you should always DYOR before dealing with anyone in here and also refrain from moving the conversation to somewhere else.
3122  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FreeWallet.org is a scam - Elon Musk account locked by Freewallet criminals on: February 11, 2021, 08:07:46 AM
Even though I highly doubt Elon used their services for a significant amount [I'm sure he's smarter than that], I still love how he destroyed them even further with his last couple of tweets...

FW had the audacity to comment in another thread [SMH]...
- It perfectly shows how they could solve other issues but instead, choose to scam their users [unless they're well known].

We've resolved Elon's issue within a few minutes.
Please feel free to check out Freewallet official Twitter.
3123  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Free Raffle]Mopar Mining Poker Chip sets - 10 sets on: February 11, 2021, 06:41:33 AM
Belated happy birthday MMLLC Smiley
- Kindly let me know if I can offer you any one of my design works as a gift [regardless of being one of the winners or not].

20 - SFR10

Special thanks to icopress as well [for notifying me about the last few spots of this free raffle].
3124  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple Crypto: Master Bitcoin - Easy introduction to Bitcoin for everyone on: February 10, 2021, 03:43:20 PM
(We also appreciate feedback  Grin)
What you're trying to achieve here is a noble thing to do but having said that, although I didn't use it personally, I still didn't enjoy seeing a couple of its features:

  • INVESTMENT GUIDE
Find a smart solution to invest in bitcoin based on your acquired knowledge. We consult you in the choice of your wallet and a reputable company.
I'm going to repeat what I've said before when it comes to investment and BTCitcoins, and that's the fact that I really hate seeing both of these words in a single sentence...
    - A lot of people use BTCitcoin for the wrong reason and by doing so, they're undermining its real value.
  • ALTCOINS
Learn more about alternative cryptocurrencies such as Monero or Ethereum.
Not sure why there's a need for mentioning other cryptocurrencies in an app that was meant to educate its users about BTCitcoin.
3125  Other / Meta / Re: Inserting images and banners in forum on: February 10, 2021, 09:06:05 AM
And how i can post html/css banners  ?
If you're referring to the type of "ads shown below the first post in each thread", then only theymos can include such ads [on your behalf] but you have to join the auction rounds, win a single slot [at least] and pay for it.

Does it require BBCode or html/css!
It could be either of those or even just a single static image [Ad design].
3126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: February 10, 2021, 07:46:34 AM
The continued match of the UEFA Europe League between Benfica versus Arsenal may be more favored by Benfica,
Arsenal needs it more so I'm expecting a different result in comparison to their domestic league forms.

seeing Arsenal's performance in the domestic league is very bad,
Results for the last three matches are indeed bad but the overall performances aren't as bad as they look [it was mainly due to injuries, suspensions, and poor refereeing].

Furthermore in my personal opinion Manchester United should prioritise winning the Europa League, because their form in premier league has been mixed and who knows where they’ll finish in the premier league.
Seeing how inconsistent other teams have been [apart from Man City of late], this is their best chance for getting a UCL spot [directly] and most likely they'll focus more on EPL compared to UEL.
3127  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: List of useful Bitcoin block explorers on: February 10, 2021, 06:45:19 AM
I tried to open OXT and search an address, but it doesn't work (Address / tx isn't loading, tried for several browsers. I'll try tomorrow again) Maybe someone else also can't load it  Huh)
Just finished testing it and had no issue when it comes to looking for an address with different formats [BASE58 (P2PKH), BASE58 (P2SH), and BECH32 (P2WPKH)] but got inconsistent results while using it for transactions [sometimes it loads, sometimes it doesn't] and lastly, I always get the following error while searching for a block:

NOTHING FOUND FOR THIS BLOCK. PLEASE TRY LATER.
3128  Other / New forum software / Re: Planned Features are missing from Epochtalk's GitHub repository! on: February 09, 2021, 02:02:52 PM
After a bit of snooping, it seems like the section was removed deliberately a while ago in a dedicated commit.
Thank you for taking the time to look around [I appreciate it Smiley]. That explains why there was no content for the first link but IIRC, I did view the 2nd link sometime in 2020 and everything was still there [I could be wrong].

I assume the reason is either the features were implemented or plans changed. The only definitive way of knowing why is probably asking the author of said commit.
You're right. I'm still trying to find my way around Github but since he had no email in there, I only managed to find one from his blog.

I'll leave this thread open for now and whenever he responds, I'll update this thread...
- I did include this thread on my PM so maybe he'll respond directly here.
3129  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best Platforms to upload videos and Earn money other than youtube on: February 09, 2021, 11:44:25 AM
These days youtube is creating lots of strict policies and banning channels without any reason.
I have to respectfully disagree with the latter part [all you need to do is to comply with their rules and you'll be fine].

I am looking to find good alternatives for youtube where not only we can upload video freely but at the same time earn good money.
As you already know [based on your 2nd post in here], nothing comes close to giving you the opportunity that you can have on YT but just to give you another option, there's also "Dtube [I used it in its first few months and it definitely had potential]".
- I know a lot has changed since then but seeing that it's still around, it's probably worth a try.
3130  Other / New forum software / Planned Features are missing from Epochtalk's GitHub repository! on: February 09, 2021, 09:47:40 AM
After stumbling upon another thread [with suggestions] in this board, I wanted to check if something similar was already part of the upcoming features but noticed that part is either inaccessible or no longer exist...

It's still listed in the Index part but it goes nowhere...
- It looks like someone has intentionally wiped that part.

There was another link [https://epochtalk.org/map.html] as well but it shows the following error:
- I did censor the last two lines.

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

<Error>
<Code>NoSuchKey</Code>
<Message>The specified key does not exist.</Message>
<Key>map.html</Key>
<RequestId>Censored</RequestId>
<HostId>Censored</HostId>
</Error>

Does anyone know why that part was taken down?
- I wouldn't mind if it was taken down due to being close to the implementation of Epochtalk Smiley

I don't think paying $400 to a blog [source] in exchange for a review [source] counts for the part I've highlighted in red...
- It's funny how you've provided a link that in a positive [ish] way has contributed to this thread [in regards to raising a few more flags/concerns against your so-called exchange platform].
3132  Other / New forum software / Re: Suggestion for existing posts or dynamic results for searched text on: February 09, 2021, 07:07:04 AM
If owners want to migrate to new forum SW then my suggestion is to go for XenForo due to its look and feel,
I'm not a back-end coder by any means but seeing how they've been working on "Epochtalk" for the past few years, I highly doubt they'd throw away those efforts and switch to another SW.
- Having said that, I do like and support your other suggestion [dynamic search result].
3133  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Walks an Extra Mile: An Aggressive Initiative in the Face of Competition on: February 08, 2021, 04:10:27 PM
Indeed, that kind of approach is too direct and aggressive...

  • Personally, If I was one of their users, I wouldn't be trading such information [that stays with them permanently] in exchange for a "temporary bump" in my VIP level.
3134  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Testnet Faucet+Dice on: February 08, 2021, 01:42:49 PM
Let me know what you think of the idea.
I do like how you've managed to integrate something fun but I think it'll be a little bit better if you could separate the faucet part and the dice game while coming up with a way to automatically save balances [even if it's just on browsers, with no need for accounts]...
- Personally, I prefer playing games whenever I want, instead of getting 30-minute intervals due to being tied to the faucet part.
3135  Other / Off-topic / Re: Forum post from 2011 - Starcraft 2 tournament on: February 08, 2021, 11:39:57 AM
Anyone still here who earned some of that 25 Bitcoins or 55 euros at that time, and over 800k euros today?  Cheesy
Even if they're still here, I'm sure they rather hide [if they still own some of it Cheesy] than to expose themselves as a potential target for scammers/hackers out there.

I'm surprised we haven't [yet] seen a significant amount of tournaments [especially FPS ones] that give BTCitcoins to their winners.

huh, i didn't know 1080p streaming wasn't feasible to many people 10 years ago. Fascinating
There are still places [in 2021] that HD streaming is still a dream for them, let alone the ability to stream in FHD.
3136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: February 08, 2021, 08:42:51 AM
- The participants list would we extended from 32 to 36 teams.
~Snipped~
I liked almost all of the proposed changes apart from this one...
- IMO, other leagues deserve an additional spot as well [it's unfair to only give those spots to teams from England, Spain, Italy, Germany, and France].

''UEFA can confirm that the Champions League round of 16 first leg between Leipzig and Liverpool will now take place at Puskás Aréna in Budapest on 16 February.''
Does this also mean that their return leg could be on neutral ground as well?
3137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 08, 2021, 07:31:14 AM
Liverpool can say good bye to the Premier League championship title. Manchester City is now leading strongly on the table.
Klopp already did [source] that part after mentioning getting a champions league spot is their target now...
- I'm not a Liverpool fan but I hate seeing them suffer like this [they deserve more].

I don't think today will be an interesting football... Two identical teams are playing, though Leeds have played one less game... The winner is hard to predict... I'd prefer Crystal Palace! Grin
Even though Palace is in slightly better form, I expect Leeds to bounce back and win this game.
3138  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: advertise without iframe like adbtc in cheaper price(youtube videos are welcome) on: February 08, 2021, 06:22:29 AM
Hi there and thanks for your reply here
there is a timer in the main view ads page appear when the member click in your ad to force the member to continue in opening your youtube video or site in new tab without any frame until the timer in the view ads page come to an end and the member verify his Click by clicking the upside down picture

we are giving here views and the members can view your videos and even your sites or blogs with google adsense without problem
the page will open without any frame to protect your account in youtube or google adsense from any risk
Thank you for explaining well, I've got a couple more questions:

  • On your "TOS" page, you mentioned each user "can view ads once every 24 hrs". Is there a way to only get unique impressions [for YouTube links] throughout its process, instead of limiting viewers on a daily basis?
    - It's perfectly fine for other types of ads, but for YT ads, I think all of the views should be unique.

Advertisements can be viewed only once every 24 hours.
  • Is there a way to customize the required viewing time for YT ads or by default, it's limited only to a certain time?
3139  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Suggestions for escrow service on: February 06, 2021, 07:44:42 AM
Hey everyone, i am looking for some suggestions for an escrow service we are launching.
Drop your ideas below  Grin
Nobody can give you accurate answers unless we know what exactly you're working with [you might want to draw a clear picture first]...
- Asking for suggestions is a good[ish] start but if you don't possess a self-identity of some sort, then what's the use in launching such services?

I wouldn't mind seeing additions to this field [there's always room for more] but it's getting harder and harder to see someone else's motivation when it comes to launching such services [sensitive subject].
3140  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: February 05, 2021, 12:40:51 PM
How to increase my rank?
If you've already "read the very first few lines of this thread" and you're still confused, then the short answer is:

  • Be somewhat "active [you have to post instead of just roaming around]"and earn "merits [it's meant for high-quality posts but some tend to give it for useful posts as well]".
    • Take note: Don't ask for merits and refrain from spamming or rather making useless posts.
