2361  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [2021-07-30] Binance banned in Malaysia, given 14 days notice to shut down opera on: August 01, 2021, 11:30:35 AM
What did Binance do to endure all this regulatory pressure??
They have a habit of ignoring the warnings until they're left with no other choice but to comply.

I don't get  why they didn't act and instead choose to continue making profits.
Based on the first part of the following "tweet" by CZ, I have a feeling there might be internal issues in regards to how they should be handling such stuff.
2362  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: ★Buy or sell small amounts of BTC with PayPal★ on: August 01, 2021, 09:34:30 AM
* If you're sending via PayPal you must send it as friends & family so you cannot get it chargebacked.
I haven't used PayPal for a couple of years, but AFAICR, there was a workaround for reversing such transactions, so I'd suggest only dealing with reputable users.

2363  Economy / Economics / Re: The Role of Government in Crypto on: July 31, 2021, 06:58:50 AM
will government regulations on cryptocurrencies undermined crypto decentralized nature?
Since you generalized it by mentioning cryptocurrencies, as opposed to BTCitcoin, then we already have a "bunch" of them with centralized natures but to answer your question, "YES" and that's one of their main objectives.

But if it's the reverse
I think it's safe to say that's not going to happen with most of them [with the exception of a few].
2364  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2021-07-21 Bloomberg - New IRA Product Allows for Tax-Free Bitcoin Mining on: July 31, 2021, 06:05:37 AM
I mean if I had a mining business I would definitely follow this route or am I missing something here?
It seems great but because of the following parts [+ difficulty adjustments], I think it's a bit tricky and in the end, the difference might not be much [don't quote me on that one].
- I'm tagging @philipma1957 since he's great with calculating stuff [hopefully it's enough to get his attention].

2365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2011 Bitcoin rejected person reaction on 2021 on: July 30, 2021, 01:11:34 PM
But i couldn't find that tweet then i thought it might be edited. But i saw the same screenshot tweet from bitcoin account on twitter. And then Nick allen also reply on that tweet too. So after that i belived that tweet is real. But Nick allen delet that tweet.
He didn't delete it but whoever is responsible for sharing that screenshot for the first time, intentionally edited the part that says "3d" to make it look like it was a recent tweet:

Now i want to know your opinion guys about this topic. I hope you guys share your feelings too.
I feel sorry for him but if it makes him feel any better, I'm pretty sure he's not the only one with missed opportunities.
2366  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Check Integrity of Hardware Wallets on: July 30, 2021, 10:01:06 AM
@dkbit98
Great thread but why stop there and not expand it to cover other known hardware wallets?

Need help with an issue:

  • Is it worth the risk to purchase a different brand of hardware wallet [e.g. coolwallet, ledger hardware wallets] from what the official reseller is known for [local reseller of trezor hardware wallets]?
2367  Economy / Lending / Re: Giving or taking loans on: July 30, 2021, 08:33:27 AM
I'm honestly more mad that people ain't takin money from me, than give me money.
I genuinely hope one day GOD would finally decide to heal or rather fix your malfunctioning brain!

smart business decisions to make and so and so.
Like all of the previous ones? Roll Eyes

And don’t you think it’s a good plan to take money from one person and give it to a hundred people ?
Not if you can't give it back.
2368  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Website with copy & paste rebuttals to common critiques regarding Bitcoin on: July 30, 2021, 06:05:59 AM
Answers can be copied
It'd be better if there was also a "copy to clipboard" button while hovering over the "detailed answer".
- The only problem with that is finding an easy way to auto-convert the included clickable links into a plain version [not sure if there's any since I'm not a coder].

Anybody can help to improve the answers by editing the website.
I have very limited knowledge about how everything works on GitHub and if I understood everything correctly, anyone with an account could easily edit all of its parts; in other words, that might lead to a disaster.

2369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bye Bye Bitcoin on: July 29, 2021, 07:43:41 PM
Just from reading the first 2 sentences alone from that article, you'd immediately realize you're about to read pure crap.
I should've listened and now I regret wasting my time, reading an article written by a one-sided clown [SMH].

I’ve been asking the same question: Who needs cryptocurrencies? Apart from the nasty uses and wild speculative value swings, data mining to produce bitcoin is a serious environmental hazard, using huge amounts of electricity by rows and rows of computers.
A 5-year-old can give a better answer than that... All he sees is the cons [I wonder why] Roll Eyes

Why there are still writers write a subject they don't fully understand?  ┐( ̄ヮ ̄)┌
1. They're attention-seeking whores.
2. They're stupid.
2370  Economy / Economics / Re: Stablecoins 101 on: July 29, 2021, 02:06:24 PM
It would be good to see more pegged currencies rather than just USD coins.
There are a few more on "this" list but after what @mk4 mentioned the other week, do you still want more of those?

A rise in tether purchasing is correlated with increasing bitcoin demand and buying volume.
I've never looked at it from that perspective [make sense].
  • If you monitor closely some of the huge internal transfers [they're labeled: e.g. this one] for both "Tether and BTCitcoin", then perhaps you might be able to spot one as an example.
2371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker casino but need KYC, is this really necessary? on: July 29, 2021, 12:05:33 PM
No way we can use crypto to stay anonymous and then do KYC so they know exactly who we are, where we are, what we do, right?
I see your point but some of us, use cryptocurrencies because of other reasons.

It really makes no sense, even with small transactions of only a few dozen, a few hundred dollars.
Some of them "have to make sure" to not send or receive anything from certain nationalities and even for those that are residing in certain countries.

What do you think about this issue? Do you want to do KYC just for gambling on any platform?
Since it's a gambling platform, I'd say it's not worth it [money wouldn't be the only thing you'd be gambling, if you go through that KYC process].

Also added that they are giving new users registered through their referral link some money, and they also require KYC to receive it. I heard that this amount is up to 200$, if you are, would you like to sell your identity to get this money?
I would not [there has to be an ulterior motive with such a significant move].
2372  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DEHANTONG NETWORK TECHOLOGY SCAM on: July 29, 2021, 09:35:14 AM
DO NOT BUY FROM DEHANTONG NETWORK TECHNOLOGY
I believe "this [archived]" is their page, am I right?
- That's exactly why everyone should avoid buying from Alibaba sellers.

WHEN I UNLOADED THE RADIATORS ON THE BOARDS, THEY WERE PURE AND SIMPLE STICKED WITH SILICONE, I ALSO HAVE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS AS PROOFS FROM WHEN I RECEIVED THE PACKAGES
Please upload those to third-party hosting websites [e.g. imgur and Streamable], then paste their links in here.

I ALSO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH THE SELLER WHO IS NOT INTERESTED IN TELLING ME TO GO TO A LOCAL ELECTRONIST TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS
You might want to include that one as well [don't forget to blur sensitive parts].

While you're at it, use the following "scam report format" to update your first post.
2373  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [2021-07-28]Binance CEO says he’s willing to step down as world's biggest crypt on: July 29, 2021, 07:13:03 AM
This is somewhat sad news and it explains the last move(s) of Binance.
They shot themselves in the foot when they chose to ignore all of the warnings, so it was bound to happen [unfortunately].

and also there is a public figure heading the operation. Accountability brings trust, so it will be a sad day when he steps down.
You have a point but it doesn't look like he's going to completely abandon Binance:

  • We are always hiring for CEOs.

I don't need to be CEO, and I am not leaving. I will always find ways to contribute to the community behind the logo tattooed to my forearm.

I am proud to be a member of the #binance ecosystem. Let's keep growing it.

2374  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Interview] Crypto business in Kazakhstan on: July 29, 2021, 04:27:49 AM
https://cryptodaily.co.uk/2021/07/kazakhstan-bank-account-cryptocurrencies
Kazakhstan Opens Up Bank Accounts For Cryptocurrencies
Overall, this is a positive development but I still don't like how they would still be able to control everything.

In addition to that, I was surprised to read about digital currencies were banned in a country with a lot of ongoing mining operations!

2375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Game with hidden Bitcoin on: July 28, 2021, 06:33:45 PM
but I can't find exact information of exact amount of BTC.
Seeing that Neil didn't disclose it, I'm guessing it has to be an insignificant amount [I could be wrong]. Does anybody know how much he'll be charging for this game?

1) Will only the first one will be awarded with the funds associated or there would be group hunt at one time and whoever wins that round will be having seed phrase which can be imported to wallet
I believe there will be only a "single" winner.

But i have concern of cheating through data mining and decompiler, i hope the developer did something to prevent such cheating.
Someone else also "commented" about that but he ignored it [perhaps it doesn't come with an anti-cheating mechanism].

You also need to know the order of each word Roll Eyes
But i expect the developer also show the position (or at least hint of the position).
He will but I have a strong feeling someone else is going to figure it out before he does it:

2376  Other / Archival / Re: Near-Zero Fees in the Bitcoin Network on: July 28, 2021, 03:48:57 PM
The near-zero fees on the Bitcoin mainnet continue to delight.
~Snipped~
I want to believe that the tendency for such commissions will continue and that you will not have to overpay.
Unfortunately, it won't last forever. If the value of BTCitcoin rises again for another week, it'd probably lead to more people [mostly outsiders] using it for the wrong reasons, and that "always" leads to higher fees [both intentionally and unintentionally].
- On each of the previous ATH moments, we had to deal with outrageous fees and if it keeps going up, I expect the same thing to happen.

This will make the network more usable and attract more people.  Smiley
But as soon as more users start using it, fees would go up [temporary form of "anything" shouldn't matter].
2377  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: iziBTC - the best digital currency exchange service on: July 28, 2021, 01:35:52 PM
@Vasiliy_Petrov120
Care to provide some sort of proof about your partnership with those you've listed "here"?

- Apart from the bits.media, none of them even mentioned your platform in their exchangers' lists, let alone as their partners.
- Just because one of them has listed you in their platform, that doesn't mean you've partnered with them.
2378  Economy / Services / Re: Inviting Social Media Influncers for Crypto Project Promotion Campaign on: July 28, 2021, 09:28:41 AM
@NFTGate
While I completely agree with the above comment, I still don't think you'll be receiving a PM from any of the influencers through this forum...
- Most influencers rarely visit this forum [especially this board], so your best bet is to contact each one of them individually and ask for their fees.

The following lists might come in handy [most of them also cover all of the other categories that you've mentioned in your post]:
2379  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: IMF issues veiled warning against El Salvador’s Bitcoin law on: July 27, 2021, 04:54:43 PM
The two IMF officials alleged that countries adopting cryptocurrencies as national currencies or “granting cryptoassets legal tender status” risked domestic prices becoming highly unstable
There's a big difference between goods or services priced in BTCitcoin and sellers accepting it as an additional option [the latter one doesn't lead to the highlighted part].

After reading their "blog post", it's quite clear they're are trying to highlight its cons [there's a workaround for all of them] while also portraying it in a way that it's not [SMH].
2380  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: What is best resource for Bitcoin News? on: July 27, 2021, 02:41:52 PM
Find out Latest Bitcoin News and Updates!, well-researched news and updates about bitcoin
I wouldn't label it as "latest"; I checked one of the recent articles [at random] on your platform and it was the same piece of news [not plagiarized] that other known platforms published last week.
- In addition to that, I noticed a duplicate copy [another article] from a known platform and even though it's clear from where it was taken, you might want to decide if you want to be an aggregator of some sort or be a platform that publishes original stuff.
