https://www-iheyhey.myshopify.com/products/customized-brand-new-dr5-including-psu
Care to explain what kind of customization has led to a price increase of around "$1,300"?

Already boxed and ready to ship.
That looks like an excuse to not post their pictures!

Payment can be done by bank transfer, or in Bitcoin, usdt.
No escrow?

Btw, what happened to the miner [one of the HonorKnight miners] that you were supposed to send to @MoparMiningLLC for a review [your previous thread]?
2122  Other / Meta / Re: If there was Bitcointalk mobile application? on: September 15, 2021, 10:46:38 AM
But what if Bitcointalk has any mobile application?🤔
The upcoming or rather the future forum software [Epochtalk] is already mobile-friendly [responsive] and you can even try it out and see how it'll feel when it's released [it's not the final version]: Coinbistro.com - Epochtalk testing grounds
- Personally, I really enjoyed viewing it with a mobile device.

  • In the meantime, you can try the following workarounds:

Note: Every single one of these versions has its own limitations and depending on how each post is formatted [e.g. those with tables], viewing it using any of the above versions might be a nightmare.
2123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If an exchange can support lightning network what are wallets waiting for on: September 15, 2021, 09:12:29 AM
Today has been the first day I saw an exchange to support lightning network,
In addition to what @shield132 posted, you can find a few other missing exchanges from the following thread: Crypto exchanges that accepting Lightning Network [make sure to also read the other comments/links on that thread].

custodial exchanges can not give the privacy
Privacy isn't the only problem when it comes to such exchanges [e.g. not having full control over your funds and few other things...].

The majority of the lightning wallets I've used aren't user-friendly. Always referring to the non-custodial ones.
Have you tried Phoenix? I'm not one of its users but based on some of the "discussions", it appears to tick all the boxes [for the most part].
2124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to Lubian mining pool? on: September 15, 2021, 07:32:19 AM
Not sure if you're the one who published "this" article [because of its date] or you were simply inspired by that article, but regardless of the answer, make sure to always include the source [you might want to edit your post and add the source in question]!
- It's not direct plagiarism, but still...

I was curious as we usually can trace or see where most of those miners move when larger pools shut down.
But we're not dealing with a normal pool here. They chose to stay under the radar from the beginning and they kept it until the very last days of their operations.

Anyone happen to know what happened to them?
The only thing that I could find about them was this:

  • Said Liu Ping, one of the cofounders of Lubian.com, their group cooperates with a local private power plant, whose investors are Chinese and Iranians, the plant generates electricity by burning waste and energy.
    ~Snipped~
Said Liu Ping, there are four partner shareholders of Lubian.com, who control all the computing power, and they never participate in any activities in the crypto space.
  • For those that are interested in connecting the dots, their "address" still has a lot of BTCitcoin [they might move it in the near future].

Based on the location of the miners [Iran - most of them] and the timing of the events, I have a strong feeling it has something to do with the new president and government in place [I could be wrong].
2125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message?! on: September 15, 2021, 06:08:23 AM
do you have other wallet can use iPhone to sign? I mean other options except Electrum
For iOS mycelium wallet there no sign message option
I download Coinomi after that I make a sign it’s said : the provided address could not be found in this account
Looks like you have a habit of ignoring all of the obvious signs! In case none of us were clear enough, no matter which wallet you download, you "can't sign a message with the public address" alone and since you mentioned you don't have access to the private key of that address, then there's no way for you to import it to any wallet!

2126  Economy / Lending / Re: Seeking 200 euro loan on: September 14, 2021, 04:07:11 PM
I meant no disrespect
Then why on earth you're asking for multiple loans with different amounts [€200 [this thread], €60 and around €475 [the one @examplens quoted]]?

Read "this [especially the second post]" thread > Lock this thread [lock button is in the bottom left corner of the page] > Stop asking for different types of loans without a "valid" collateral!

Here is mine

1F9ocVtQ25cNAGNkDwzKXnCGsQgf1jA1Ah
That's not enough... You have to sign a message with it, in order to prove that you have the private key [full control].
- Just scroll up and follow the proper format [three parts: Message, address, and signature].
2128  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-09-11] India's upcoming cryptocurrency law seeks to balance stability and on: September 14, 2021, 01:40:53 PM
India's cryptocurrency bill will have a distinct and unique approach for crypto regulation.

He confirmed that India’s crypto policies will not be along the lines of nations like the U.S,
I do know we're still missing most of the details, but from what I've seen and understood, their cryptocurrency bill isn't that unique.

All these regulators will always sight terrorists financing but they forget that fiat is actually the worst alternative as compared to crypto which has all transactions recorded on the public ledger for all to see.
Unfortunately, it's a lie that they continually tell everyone so they could have a perfect excuse to regulate it.
2129  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano X Battery Pandemic on: September 14, 2021, 12:19:34 PM
Reply from ledger publicly admitting they have a problem, claiming that 5% of their devices have battery problem, but I suspect it's much more than that:
I think what they really meant to say was: "5% of the customers that received Nano Xs"
- In other words, those with multiple orders and replacements were counted as one [it's not a fact, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case]!

As many of you know from experience, approximately 5% of the Nano Xs sent since June 2021 have been received with battery issues.
~Snipped~
As soon as the defect was noticed, we worked hard to identify the root causes and to find the best way to fix these on the production level. We were looking for sustainable resolutions and this has unfortunately involved changes that took many months to be implemented into the production lines.
This problem has existed for three and a half months and they decided to post an announcement just five days ago [SMH] and on top of that, it took them months to come up with a so-called "sustainable resolution" while we know how much it really takes to fix or prevent the issue in question!

We are pleased to announce that the new Nano X production line will be running in 3 weeks.
And yet customers aren't allowed to choose "which batch" their replacements come from!

Until this moment, all the devices that we have in stock will be intensively tested to ensure that we do not send you faulty devices.
Yeah right! So that's why some of the users have received "multiple" faulty replacement units Roll Eyes
- I wonder what would've happened if they didn't "intensively test" the units that they sent out!
2130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message?! on: September 14, 2021, 09:47:53 AM
I was had transfer few months ago . But how to get my private key? And I try to use Bitcoin core to sign but I can’t find (The private key of the associated address could not be found)
I'm not a Bitcoin core user but judging by the error that you're getting, I have a strong feeling that you didn't generate the address in question, on that wallet.

Proper commands:

2131  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message?! on: September 14, 2021, 09:01:58 AM
But I not have private key . I only have public address
How come you get only public address without acquiring public during your wallet setup?
He probably used an address from a cryptocurrency exchange [custodial wallet].

@Davidyyyyy
If I was right, then there's no way for you to sign a message, but if that's not the case, then you should mention the name of the wallet in question, so we could try to find a solution [if there's any].
2132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microsteel keeps buying into BTC on: September 14, 2021, 07:46:04 AM
When they continuously buy Bitcoin in stages will it cause BTC to break ATH again?
In theory, it should have a positive impact on the price but not to an extent that it'd break ATH [we need a chain reaction of some sort to achieve such a thing again]...
- I do agree with @thecodebear's comment.

What do you expect for BTC at the end of 2021?
I posted the following "prediction" back in June.

For those who don't have knowledge, this is legit, Microstrategy purchased additional Bitcoin as Michal Saylor (CEO of Microstrategy) tweeted about it, can be found here: https://twitter.com/michael_saylor/status/1437386724443926535
I downloaded the "PDF file" from their websites and it seems that they're selling shares in order to buy BTCitcoins [screenshot]. Although I don't know every single detail, it still appears to be quite risky!
2133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LOOK: Biggest financial institution in El Salvador embraces Bitcoin? on: September 14, 2021, 06:30:41 AM
other cryptocurrencies will widely spread and might be accepted for payment too,
They made BTCitcoin a legal tender, not cryptocurrencies as a whole and I highly doubt they could follow in BTCitcoin's footsteps anytime soon.

Are we going to create a new topic for every El Salvadorian business/company/entity that accepts bitcoin now? lol
Internet: How many threads do you want about El Salvador accepting BTCitcoin?
TS/OP: Yes Cheesy
2134  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: September 13, 2021, 07:02:48 PM
Nah. The IPs I use are all outside the Philippines. It doesn't matter. Just use your regular normal ISP and don't get on tor or any VPN, although I think it shouldn't matter. I just used the app on my phone and took pictures of the required ID and bank statements (or credit card bill).

Yung bill was actually a PDF sent by email, so I just zoomed out and took a screenshot of one page with my name and postal address visible and then that's what I sent.

That's one use for it, if you are abroad and kept your globe or smart prepaid number (or got a new one), you can load it 10 pesos a year and it will stay alive. I actually do it every 6 to 10 months, at meron at least 100 pesos left in my account, so I have enough to make it last 10 years. But I usually put in more later anyway ...
Nung time na umalis ako sa bansa, walang coverage yung roaming ng Globe dito kaya di ko sya niloadan yung mga huling araw at kahit na recently nagkaroon sya ng coverage dito, I doubt na active pa yung prepaid sim card ko and on top of that, kailangan mahanap ko muna sya.
2135  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: September 13, 2021, 05:37:12 PM
Bah, nag pa verify na naman,
~Snipped~
Every year, pa verify.
2136  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My System for Security/Protection of Hardware Wallets and Valuables on: September 13, 2021, 03:02:07 PM
@aoluain
Why you didn't go with the bigger version [LCFW30100] that could provide a bit more [84°C] fire protection for an hour [instead of 30 minutes]?

  • Don't get me wrong, I'm still not convinced that this security chest is going to be enough when "normal building fires could reach up to 1,100°C" and I just watched a video about a similar product [different brand] that after a test, the entire lock mechanism popped out and based on the last image that you've uploaded, I expect the same thing to happen since it's just connected to the plastic part and that part could easily melt in a fire.
2137  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitejo.com – Bitcoin Marketplace, Jobs, Fundraising and Exchanges on: September 13, 2021, 09:15:34 AM
Coming soon:
- Fido Escrows is coming soon. Members can sign up as a mediator and set their fee to mediate trades with 2-of-3 multisig escrow or choose a mediator to escrow their purchases.
I do like your plan to implement a 2-of-3 multi-sig setup with escrow providers, but by allowing other members to sign up as escrow providers, you're basically giving them the chance to use an alt account, a friend, or an accomplice to trick the system [you might want to reconsider that part].
2138  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-09-13] Money transfer providers may lose $400m to bitcoin wallet’ on: September 13, 2021, 08:19:33 AM
El Salvador’s latest Bitcoin app, the Chivo Wallet, could ensure that money service providers such as Western Union and MoneyGram lose around $400m in remittance commission.
This is bound to happen at some point but IMO, it's not going to happen in its first year because of the following reason:

  • A recent survey showed 2/3rd of Salvadorans either hate or have very limited knowledge about BTCitcoin and what that means is, it takes time before they would learn how to buy & transfer BTCitcoin to their loved ones in the country and until that happens, I'm pretty sure they'd stick to the traditional methods [despite those disadvantages].
2139  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: September 12, 2021, 06:23:38 PM
‘Pmalek’ haven't made the list of maximum withdrawal of each casino, but it would be helpful for the gamblers if he made a column with the maximum withdrawal limit.
I do not think this information is the concern by Pmalek of creating this thread.
Yes, there's no dedicated column in the table, but Pmalek has listed the top 5 "highest withdrawal amounts" after the table...
- I believe the ones I've found would automatically replace [assuming that their FAQ pages were updated] a few from that list.

PlayBitcoinGames FAQ page is outdated. Their minimum withdrawal amount is 0.002BTC (like it is listed in original post). Previously we had some discussion about the withdrawal amount of PBG. You can see it here
It is out of date FAQ from Playbitcoingames as it is different from the information under the withdrawal page as confirmed by Pmalek here
Thank you for the links [I drew a line on that part].

Update:
That top 5 list refers to the casinos with highest minimum withdrawal amount.
I understand if it may mislead some people as it is written as "highest withdrawal amounts", some people may understand it as the max withdrawal amount allowed by the casino.
Perhaps Pmalek needs to change/edit it into "highest minimum withdrawal amounts"
Just finished cross-checking those with the table and you're right [my bad (SMH)].

Update 2:
Thanks for checking. panjul07 already explained what the lists below the table represent. I have changed it to "Casinos that have the highest minimum withdrawal amounts" as he suggested. Hopefully, that will bring some more clarity.

I created new accounts on all casinos that I checked, so I didn't rely on any information provided in FAQs and the forum.
Thank you as well for the changes [it's much more clearer now] and you did the right thing to check everything with new accounts [I suspected some of them might've been outdated as well].
2140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks, McDonald’s, and Pizza accept BTC on: September 12, 2021, 05:28:09 PM
As someone that just used google translator to see what those lines exactly meant in the stickers, I didn't like the ones used in Starbucks and Pizza Hut [it translates to "EXCLUSIVE BOX OF bitcoin", which is weird] while the way McDonald's did [it translates to "NOW you can pay with BITCOINS at McDonald's"], made more sense.

- Does anybody know what the line below the mobile icon says in the McDonald's ad [this is the "clearest" one that I could find, but I can't still read all of the letters]?

The video mentions using Strike app to make the purchases, and the experience is extremely smooth:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0uSx3mmE5c
Wow, you're right... That was surprisingly smooth [Strike, please expand to more countries Smiley]!
