3321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2022,which the next trend?next the fortune code? on: December 16, 2021, 05:24:31 PM
We are way too close to 2022 to say that Metaverse will die. Right now, the whole Metaverse deal looking like it will grow a little bit more, I am aware that it is not really at the peak yet and that means during the 2022 early periods we will have that Metaverse insanely higher prices in many different projects for sure.

I cannot say which ones it will be, and I can't say if it will sustain until the end of 2022 neither, maybe it will or maybe it will not but I know that it will certainly not going to end up stopping before 2022. This is why I am trying to invest a bit into them so far, but I am not sure which one I should be investing so far, which is why I haven't just yet.
3322  Economy / Economics / Re: Robert Kiyosaki expects a market crash and economic crisis - do you believe it? on: December 15, 2021, 10:03:28 PM
Never forget that these whole market crashes are something you could take advantage of. If you are in crypto and you are growing your portfolio, that means during the recovery it will be able to recover a lot faster. Why? Because in order to increase the price of gold there needs to be trillions, in order to increase the price of tesla there needs to be god knows how many billions, but in order to increase bitcoin we just need people not selling at cheap, literally that's it.

As long as they do not sell for cheap, we are going to have a very little liquidity at the low levels and high liquidity all going into higher prices, it requires a lot less money to increase crypto, imagine buying 15 billion dollars worth of tesla and 15 billion dollars worth of ETH, which one would skyrocket more? Of course ETH would do. So be ready and if a crash comes, we will be better at crypto than any other fiat investment.
3323  Economy / Speculation / Re: Comparing bitcoin halvings - 2012 to 2020 on: December 15, 2021, 09:18:04 PM
I would say that even if we take that 68k or so level as the ATH, we are going to be pretty much safe to assume that it always has a great return. Anyone who buys at the halving will end up profiting by this calculation. I can't say the same thing since I do not know if that will be the case, but I know that it will definitely be something that is decent and will profit us 90%+ of the time.

Halving are also losing a bit of power as well, back in the day when a halving happened the price could increase a lot more because we were dropping very significantly and the remaining would become still quite high, so the part that got halved was pretty significant (in number of bitcoin) as well. Nowadays we have less bitcoin anyway, and halving would make it even less, but the price is higher so it would mean that it would require a lot more money to increase it as well.
3324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $2 million worth of SHIBA INU bought on: December 15, 2021, 08:23:32 PM
I am 50% sure that there is a way to launder money via Shiba and that is what the rich people are doing and that is why there is a hype around it. There is no logical argument over why Shiba should be even considered a decent investment for any sane person. Don't get me wrong, I am not one of those people who do not understand crypto, I have been in this world for 8+ years, getting closer to 9 years in 2022 march, so I have been in crypto space a long time.

I even get NFT, I get metaverse, I get everything but will never understand the hype around 2 things; 1) I never understood it for XRP because it is HIGHLY centralized but then everything became more centralized anyway, 2) Shit memecoins. I mean if it had any value at all or any use case then I would understand it but there is literally nothing that can be done with it so it is totally weird for them to have some value.
3325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best DeFi Projcet 2021-2022 on: December 15, 2021, 07:20:21 PM
Mana and Land seems to be some new ones that could worth something in the future. Sand also seems like a good deal as well, right now there are a lot of money to be made if you could get your hands of some cheap land, especially if you could buy it in bulk in many different places because that means you could also end up getting a near one to yours by trading or just selling and getting that one.

I have heard a lot of stories of buying 2 lands far apart while offering to trade them to your neighbor land owner, he would end up getting 2 instead of 1, but you will have 2 connected together instead of 3 far apart from each other and sometimes that worths something more. All in all the "idea" is great, and I am hoping that it will pick up, can't guarantee that it will but these metaverse stuff do look like they do have some sort of future in the end.
3326  Economy / Economics / Re: Robert Kiyosaki expects a market crash and economic crisis - do you believe it? on: December 14, 2021, 09:42:32 PM
Robert Kiyosaki doesn't understand finances as much as he claims he does. It has been established that he just simply supports the idea of "take out a loan, make profit with what you use that loan with, and eventually due to inflation that loan will not be too much in a few years and your networth will be above your debt", this isn't some grand idea that first came to him, hell people did this for thousands of years nowadays, even kings did it back in the day, took out loans from some high end banks or rich wealthy merchants, used that to rise up armies, pay those armies, take over a place and then pay those merchants back with the earnings of that won war.

In this case it is once again something very obvious, we are going to have "a crash" will we? Even a teenager would know that, this isn't some super magician economist type of thinking.
3327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 14, 2021, 08:53:58 PM
I don't know how long this covid cases could be allowed to happen before something is done about it. I am not saying go back to bubble right away, but even a week of no games and just postponing the whole remainder of games for one week while ending the league one week later etc etc, basically just making everything one week later would have been a lot better.

I know financially that is a bit troublesome, the tickets, the costs, the traveling, the arrangements the hotel reservations and basically everything will be a whole chaos but lets be honest, there are people who gets paid a salary to handle these type of things for teams and the league officials. All in all I would assume that it looks like it could be done and just one week of nobody contacting nobody would allow the players to come back with zero positive in the league and they can restart the whole league with ease.
3328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: December 14, 2021, 08:18:49 PM
The difference is that there could have been a very well and legal and following the rule book decision based on what we have and still let Max be on soft tires while Hamilton on hard and even give Max a bigger lead to win as well. How? Well, as soon as the safety car is out, let the cars unlap themselves, which would mean that in max of 2 laps all the cars would be on order right? You have Lewis ahead and Max right behind him, full fresh tires versus 40+ lap Hard compounds.

This would have given Max the win anyway, it would be the same result, and it would have been following the rule book, instead of just 4-5 cars allowed to unlap themselves, they just needed to do it a few laps back as soon as safety car was out. Then during 56th lap or so, you tell everyone that SC is going in next lap, just like you have to, and then during 57th start it would be 2 laps of full racing with everyone on order.

This would be allowed, would be correct by the rules and would give Max and Lewis to fight 2 laps and Max would get it anyway. So, "even if" this was whole done to give Max the championship, which I doubt Masi did that for this reason, it would still be better if they followed the rules and still give him a more legal win.
3329  Economy / Economics / Re: This what poor people need on: December 14, 2021, 06:30:17 PM
Poor people do not need fund managers to tell them what they should do, poor people (depending on the situation) needs fairer wages. If today CEO's are making thousands of times more money than the lowest paid person versus 50 years ago when they were paid a lot less, that means there is something wrong. If today Tesla is worth this much and Elon musk has 300+ billion dollars networth, that means he could pay his workers a better wage, if Jeff Bezos is worth this much then he could afford to pay good wages.

So, if huge companies paid decent taxes and did not try to add in a few more billion dollars, actually dozens of billions of dollars this year, then they could allow poor people to live better lives. Just 20-30 years ago people could work and earn enough money to buy a house, today that dream is long gone for majority of the working class.
3330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about pancakeswap token on: December 13, 2021, 10:32:48 PM
I do not think that pancakeswap is mintable after the release. I would love to see the code on that, as far as I know it was minted when it was first started but that was it, creators can't mint as much as they want anymore, it’s done. What OP could be talking about might be something to do with new version.

For example, cake is on V2 right now because they changed some codes and during that time they could have minted anything they wanted, but they did not. I am hoping that people would find anything there is risky in their code so far, but they would have found it if there were, it is open source and even the moving money around that is not theirs was omitted from the code, so they look as legit as they get. However, if there is something I do not know about their token, then I would like to see where it says on the code that they could mint anytime they want.
3331  Economy / Economics / Re: Only 50% of the college Class of 2020 had full-time jobs 6 months post grad on: December 13, 2021, 10:01:52 PM
It is not even about getting employed or not, it is about how horrible the working conditions became once again. In history it always became better and better, 2000 years ago the worker class was doing horrible, many were slaves that were used for work, and all the free ones got enough payment to have a shelter and eat bread and drink water, that’s literally it, nothing more at all.

This is why humanity went on strikes hundreds of times, even the slave rebellions were basically strikes. 100+ years ago was last huge one, sure it wasn't the last one but it was the last HUGE one. Right now, we are talking about conditions getting worse and even the newly employed ones do not get the life conditions they deserve, these are college graduates and they should be able to afford a rent and live decently, not greatly but at least decently, people in their 30's ended up buying houses just 30-40 years ago, nowadays you can't even easily pay a whole rent by yourself.
3332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Big disadvantage of Cex (Centralized Exchange), Be careful don't do such mistake on: December 12, 2021, 08:22:20 PM
When you make a mistake and then blame the exchange for it, people will never really find the problem with the exchange. Could they found a way to help you? Of course they could, I mean it would take some time and it would take out resources for them (such as manhours) but they could do it. The real question is, are they forced to or should they do it legally? They do not for both, we do not care for it when it is someone else and you wouldn't neither if it was me who lost it this way.

Your friend sent money to a wrong place and that is why he lost his money, as long as it was him that did the mistake and it was him that caused this money to be gone then all of the blame lays on your friend and Binance has absolutely nothing to be blamed for. When you write a topic like this, it sounds like you want to say there is a big disadvantage involved, but it is just a mistake, "do not make such mistake" would have been enough tbf.
3333  Economy / Economics / Re: The gold confiscation of 1933 on: December 12, 2021, 05:12:02 PM
I would guess that gold standard played a big role in this and today we do not have that gold standard. In May of 1933 they confiscated "all" they could, not all of them of course since people were hiding gold anyway, and by June they realized that they can't just do it and gave up and moved out of gold standard.

This is the way that the world works, you try your best and if you fail you just remove that rule if you are the government. Whatever is illegal for you and me, is not illegal for a government because if they want to do something then they could simply make it legal and do it. Today we do not have the same problem, sure we have problems but nothing regarding getting our gold's confiscated because gold is an asset right now and nothing more, would be similar to confiscating all stocks, but back in those days it meant the power of economy for the whole government.
3334  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is getting more bearish, what is the trigger? on: December 11, 2021, 02:45:18 PM
To be fair we can't really compare any of these cases with the current situation. From $20k which was the most different resistance since it was the previous ATH and historically they are extremely hard to break due to the sell offs close to these prices.
The rest of the troubles were mostly because of the nonsense news such as the 2 big FUDs we had in the past years one about the energy consumption which is now completely forgotten! And another one about this country and that country banning bitcoin which is again completely forgotten now.
I am not saying that it will be 1 to 1 ratio exactly the same thing, that's impossible. However, I am saying that it is also not an impossible task and we did "similar" things before and it could happen again. Sure these resistance and support points are "something" but they are not everything. Hopefully we will reach to a place where we will do better and reach to a higher price and those resistances and ATH and psychological barriers will not hold forever.

Of course, it will be a difficult challenge, but it will not be something that we will have to force breaking forever, maybe once, maybe twice but eventually we will break through it. Same happened before, same will happen again. I also do not see the 2018 bear run happening right now, I am just guessing that it would be similar in case the price drops a lot but it has been sustained so far, which makes things easier.
3335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What did you learn about crypto trading? on: December 11, 2021, 11:21:56 AM
I have to say do not stop learning no matter how wise you think yourself to be. I know that it is not really something we could see coming but one day there will be a lot of losses and you will try to estimate why it happened and what you will realize is that there are a lot more new stuff that you needed to learn. Even if you manage to learn every single detail on how to trade that is shared until today, then you will need to read what will be shared tomorrow as well. This is why trading is not just about candlesticks and buys and sells, it is about reading as well.

Moreover, I never stop checking the news and blogs and academies, because even if I learn one single more thing the entire day, then I will be doing fine in the future. That is what your end goal should be though, learn as much as you can, and after a while when you become good, just learn one more thing every day.
3336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Squid Game scam creators buy $125M worth of SHIB turning into Shiba Inu whales on: December 11, 2021, 05:58:44 AM
I haven't seen that much of an increase in Shiba price lately to be honest. I mean sure they probably bought it if people checked and tracked it back to them, there is no doubt about that. However, that doesn't mean that it was all done together, I am pretty sure they found a way to do it without raising suspicion. Think about it, a token like shiba getting 125 million dollars all at once and not moving up like crazy? It should have been a HUGE increase if you ask me.

But look at the chart of shiba, there is no huge spike anywhere, in the last 1 month there has been just one increase and that was during last day of October which everything else had a great day too. Wonder how they managed to slide that by and only figured out after the fact and not during.
3337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gemini Raises $400 Million To Build A Metaverse Outside Facebook’s | DESO on: December 11, 2021, 04:01:09 AM
Lol this has been one of the most petty fights I have ever seen. Two (well three) kids fighting each other with daddies money and actually becoming huge meanwhile, sure one is winning by a large margin, not even close, and yes all three did amazing for their own, but they were just "daddy money" rich people and will always stay that way. Mark had wealthy parents, and Winklevii known very commonly comes from a wealthy family as well, none of their parents made as much as these three of course, they took it multiple steps further. So, why is it petty?

It is petty because even though they "succeeded" in financial terms, they are kids at heart, I mean they are like what 35-37 range? They should have grown up a little bit more but money allowed them to stay kids, and they are having this weird petty fight against each other which makes no sense at all.
3338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 11, 2021, 01:46:02 AM
Of course people will be harsh towards Lakers, there are two reasons for this. One is the fact that they have the most championships in the history of the league which makes them not really loved, even when they turned into a horrible stage after 2010 and had a very bad 10 years, they still ended up with a championship right after thanks to Lebron and AD and the bubble. So other teams fans hating Lakers is not a new thing, they end up getting at least one championship every decade, and that sometimes feels a bit difficult for other teams to care for Lakers.

Secondly they built a team with Westbrook-Lebron-AD, and that trio is an amazing one, definitely high up there with any other team, and their other players are not that bad neither, so in theory they should be winning most of their games, maybe not at the top spot but at least in fourth seed at the very worst case, they are playing very badly compared to the roster they have.
3339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dex exchange for Bitcoin with stop loss function? on: December 11, 2021, 01:35:51 AM
I never heard of any proper top DEX to have something like this. I am hoping that it would be more common but I doubt that it would even be possible. People assumed DEX as defi dexes but the reality is that there were DEX before defi even was a thing. I took this as an example for that, I get that you can't really make comparisons between them but if you want to do bitcoin trading with stop loss then the real bitcoin is at the real DEX and not at DeFi ones.

Just like everyone else said, if you go to places like 1inch and all then you need to do wrapped bitcoin and not the real one which I always found alright to be honest. However, if you go to real dexes that existed for a long time, then you are going to end up with real bitcoin and doing real trading with stop loss there as well. It makes sense to me that someone who wants to use stop loss would do that at those.
3340  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Finally Climbs Back Above $50k, but can it Remain there? on: December 10, 2021, 07:41:24 PM
Maybe the OP spoke too soon as the price goes down below $50k again after 2 days, right now it's $49,200 and I'm wondering that maybe we just saw a bull trap or the resistance is too far greater that it can't conquer it, hence there is a little sell off again and maybe try to reset everything in the next couple of days.
Not easy to speak at any time, really. Everything's just too finely poised at the moment. Too little volumes in either direction to dictate something of a weekly permanence even.

Not even enough of any inclination to say bull trap or otherwise. This is when either sub45k or post 55k is the marker for the next month's move.

Or we wait for another weekend effort.

I realise how silly even I sound trying to make sense of where we're going Wink
You do not sound silly at all, that is exactly how it is looking right now. We are looking like we do not have enough volume to make a decision on which direction it will be going and that is 100% true.

I believe that we are going to end up going higher, but we do not have the volume to prove that right now, nothing in any chart could back this suggestion up because even if it did look like that, it would be based on little volume and if some big wave came in and crashed the price then I would be wrong. Same could be said for going down as well, all in all there is nothing we could be considering as a clear direction as of right now and that’s all because people are not doing big volume moves just yet. So, you are right and sound totally correct.
