2361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 15, 2022, 08:56:00 PM
I agree, Kyrie and KD could be gone tomorrow, or they will not be gone at all, and we do not have any idea until it happens. I still think that fully healthy Nets for a whole year could end up being great. Last year, at the start of the season the talks were about Lakers vs Nets finals, with harden instead of Simmons obviously, we all saw the result of that.

Harden has left, Simmons is injured, Kyrie and vaccination etc etc all destroyed Nets, and Lakers having one of the worst years of both AD and Westbrook together caused them to be terrible too. So I am not expecting the thing this year, it is going to be a revenge year for Lakers, and Nets could stay healthy and be a lot better if they stay together.
2362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 15, 2022, 08:17:00 PM
Honestly I didn't wager on Bilbao Mallorca and to be fair I do wager on just Madrid, ATM, Barcelona trio most of the time and do not watch most of the other games. But to be fair whenever I watch the highlights of the other games, I remember why.

It is clear that these clubs are not as big as the ones at the top for a very good reason, and it is of course normal because they do not make that much money but at the same time. Which means that they can't get that many good players, but why would it be my job to watch them and get them more viewers and earn more money so they get better. I will watch them when they get better without me, until then I will watch teams that are already good Cheesy.
2363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 15, 2022, 05:53:31 PM
Everyone talks about Liverpool and Fulham game like that is something so important but in reality it means nothing at all. I mean not even this Palace game means anything, we are talking about just something that they have to handle by themselves and first weeks could be something that is a bit of a trouble because they are getting used to it.

They lost mane, one of the most important players in the team and getting used to the fact that he is not there anymore will take time for them to get better, which is why I believe that we shouldn't be shocked about them not being great for now, but they will definitely get adjusted to new style and players overtime and be better.
2364  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the US become EU's oil supplier?? on: August 15, 2022, 02:08:50 PM
Europe has Arabic countries right there, why would they need it from USA? I mean maybe there could be some problems politically with them too but I guess it is not as much and we will probably see a better and easier logistical solutions if we do that.

Sure you can do USA to EU as well via ships if we are talking about just Oil, the amount of oil one ship can carry could be huge, and if you have constant ships going and coming back constantly then it could survive and works out. BUT! why would you, you could literally just have Saudi oil as your main resource and could get it via some pipe or something if you really wish to and you could feed the entire Europe with that.
2365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 14, 2022, 07:48:40 PM
I think that this game was simply just unlucky and nothing more. Barcelona played one of the best games I have seen from them in a long while. I mean even last year of Messi wasn't "this" good, Messi was good but the others weren't that much. This team looks all around great and there is a good chance that they could end up with something decent all over again.

I believe that the best thing to do now would be making sure that Barcelona keeps this up. If they play like this, they won't be unlucky all the time, they will surely score some goals and even have great results as well. I see a bunch of goals in their future with this type of amazing offense.
2366  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia More Than Triples Current-Account Surplus to $167 Billion on: August 14, 2022, 05:49:39 PM
Everyone considers what Russia could give to the world, and nobody asks what could world give to Russia. What you are forgetting is that while they may have some things that the world wants, we shouldn't forget that there are a lot of things that the world can provide which Russia wants. Even something as simple as a facebook ad goes from a Russians pocket to Mark Zuckerberg’s pocket with that logic.

This is why it is quite important that if the world finds a way to not use oil or gas or wheat from Russia, and yet in the future Russians still use products from other nations, the money that they have right now would go down more and more and more, which will put them in trouble.

Lol, @325btc has been a troll on this community for a while now, he is not an idiot or a kid, he is not here saying things that he actually believes in. He is just here because he is having fun trolling people and I see that he still manages to troll some people.

There was a funny story back in the day told as a joke "some guy goes to world bank and says that he should be hired as CEO, the bank said no, so he said he is the son in law of Bill gates, and the bank said yes, he goes to bill gates and says he wants to marry his daughter, and bill gates says no, he says but he is the ceo of world bank, bill gates says yes" and that joke is 100% guaranteed the basis of what OP talks about.
2368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of most prominent altcoins of the moment on: August 13, 2022, 07:19:42 AM
I would guess that "all" your money should never be going into crypto, save some aside for rainy days and that's fine. However if we are talking about going in because of the price? I would say this is the perfect time to get in because that's how you make your money, that's how you should be approaching the situation.

I think this is the lowest point we are going to see for a while, maybe a few points down a bit but that's about it, we are not going to see under 20k for example, that might be gone forever if I am not wrong. That is why I am not seeing the current situation to be that much of a big trouble and we should be focusing a bit towards upwards and making profits.
2369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you think its more healthy for a project on: August 12, 2022, 09:08:03 PM
Roadmaps are not that kind of important in the timing of it. What roadmaps tell me is the fact that they are aiming for some things, and I would love to learn what those things are. If you know what they are aiming at then you would be able to see if they have a good plan or not. That's what a roadmap is, it's just a plan that they have and sometimes they have a great idea and sometimes they do not have a great idea.

This is why I personally believe that the best thing to do would be making sure that they know what they are doing. I personally check the roadmap and see if a project is worthy or not by seeing if they actually have any real idea what they are doing.
2370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 12, 2022, 08:18:23 PM
The league definitely started to look even more boring this year. Leipzig and Dortmund had a back to back season where they tested Bayern and failed, last year was Dortmund and the year before that was Leipzig. But this year? There doesn't seem to be any team in all of Bundesliga that could get close to Bayern.

If there was a bet option for 15 points or more (say 15.5 to make it easier) then I would click over, there will be a lot of points difference. Of course it could also depend on if Bayern stops caring or not, because by week 20 day will be already champions and by 25 or so mathematically champions if you ask me, so they may stop caring about results for sure.
2371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 12, 2022, 07:28:32 PM
Barcelona still couldn't register the players like lewandowski and such? If they fail to get those players registered then what was the point of singing them? What's going to happen with them? Are they just going to be playing in UCL and no other games? That makes no sense to me. Could someone explain the rules to me?

Like what if all those players are failed to signed and then they are still in Barcelona, does that mean they are going to play like 10 games a year and get paid millions of dollars and there is nothing Barcelona can do about it? Or are we going to see them get it one way or another even if with some punishment? If that's the case they have to pay it and move on.
2372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Know the right crypto project to invest in on: August 12, 2022, 07:14:56 PM
This has been asked a million times and there isn't really a great one correct answer. I mean everyone would love to answer this but not many people can. The best thing to do would be making sure that it is not a scam. If you can invest into something that is not a scam then you are doing the right thing, if you are investing into something that is just simply failing, that's fine and it happens.

Most of the market went down for example, and has been down for a lot of months now, does that mean everyone failed to find good projects? Of course not, but Luna ended up going to zero, which means that someone who had bitcoin and someone who had luna, both different people, they both lost, but one lost way more than the other. Make that difference.
2373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming sooner: ETH devs move up the date for Merge on: August 12, 2022, 02:49:24 PM
I do not think that it will come sooner than people expect, it will be a bit later. But that’s fine, because we are used to them postponing the date all the time, there isn't anything wrong with the current situation and we should be pretty pleased about it as well. I personally believe that the best thing to do right now would be making sure that ethereum doesn't fall if it doesn't happen on the right time, it could be another time.

Let’s say they made it on 1st of December, but when the day came they said instead first of new year (January 1st) then our job is to make sure that it doesn't drop in price because of it, if we can arrange that then the rest will be handled.
2374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Benjamin Cowan named the four most promising altcoins on: August 12, 2022, 07:23:56 AM
There isn't a single investor or "expert" in the world that would know how the markets will behave in future. However, if you spent some time on the markets, you could realize that when the world is doing better, crypto does better as well which means that when the price of bitcoin goes up, could be the same time as when stocks go up, and that means the economy is back to normal.

For that to happen the feds need to relax on the rate increases, the day they lower it, there will be plenty of money going back into the market and that means a lot of money going into stocks and gold and crypto and other stuff which will make it go up. So, you could have a vague idea on when that will happen.
2375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reserveum: How to create Ideal Non-Inflated money? on: August 12, 2022, 06:38:53 AM
It's good to have a topic about crypto articles that you wrote, but I would guess that it is also not really found cool by many people and only annoying. This is to help you, not an attack or anything. I just want to help you and say that even though it helps your SEO in a way, it also hurts it because people here find it annoying, meaning the ones who will click on your website would leave right away, so it will make your bounce rate higher, and that will hurt your SEO as well.

I agree with all you said about crypto payments on taxes, that's a good article, and I am 100% in support of what you said, just wanted to warn you ahead because I did this before and it hurts more than it helps.
2376  Economy / Economics / Re: Why aren't people utilising cryptocurrency payment methods? on: August 12, 2022, 05:54:24 AM
Main reason is people not wanting to make money that way, they want to make sure that they make money from just a simple investment and that's good enough for them. Look at Tesla, they bought 1.5 billion dollars worth of bitcoin for a while and sold it for a bit of a loss. Instead, they could have built the greatest payment system ever, hell Elon was part of paypal mafia, so it would have worked out well for him since he knows what he is doing.

This way we would have an idea on how to make a profit with payment companies as well, but they just prefer that they end up with some sort of situation where it would work well for them in the long run instead, and not take any risks.
2377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 11, 2022, 09:28:41 PM
There was no doubt in my mind that Real would win, it was a quite easy game for them to be fair, could have been even more goals but got unlucky. Benzema is still doing what he does best, he was the architect of the first goal, and scored the second one, and what a wonderful one as well.

However, I would like to open a whole new part just to talk about Courtouis, he is not just a goalkeeper, he is literally deciding factor and we see that rarely with goalkeepers, only the ones that are amazing. This dude has been amazing last year, and was the one that brought UCL to them as well with his saves, and this game he had some amazing saves as well, brilliant performance.
2378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about smart contract projects on: August 11, 2022, 09:16:39 PM
I can't say how will ETH 2.0 will do and how proof of stake matters to other projects and so forth, it will definitely be a problem to some of them because they will have to change the chain they are working on and that's fine. But at the end of the day if we are talking about just ethereum, that's fine.

However, you asked if SOL would be better for them and checking back on the 2-3 times they got frozen for high activity on their chain, plus the hacking deals happened not too long ago just recently, I could say that even if ETH has a problem, projects will not move to SOL directly, they will go to BNB, ADA, Avax or whatever next, but not SOL, that is not a project people love so much anymore.
2379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying 4/08/22 on: August 11, 2022, 08:41:04 PM
I do not know how you guys are doing something so scary to me. All these games look like they are going to be pretty difficult to beat, and they look like they are going to be wildly unexpected and I couldn't really make any sense out of them.

Betting on these feels like I might as well shoot darts in the dark and hope for the best, doesn't mean I would miss each time, but there is a good chance I would miss most of the time, and would do so with these games as well. I would prefer to wait it out, and reach the group stages. There, I would know most of the teams, and at the very least know the best teams in each group and wager better.
2380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 11, 2022, 08:18:22 PM
Dame is not the type of player that could earn MVP votes that easily. He is expected to score a lot, and he is expected to even assist even though he doesn't have too many proper teammates now. He needs to have like 30+ ppg and 10 assists per game type of season and even with that there will be players who are close to him.

Plus, they do not give MVP votes to players who play in a team that may miss the playoffs, that's rarely possible, even Westbrook who got it was averaging triple double and was in playoffs. So, not only he has to have great stats, but his team needs to do great as well. This is why I do not see him as MVP candidate at all, probably not even top 5.
